✓ Great, but could be MUCH betterThis game is fun, and a satisfying addition to Hutch's driving games. However, they could have done SO MUCH better. -graphics aren't the best -you can't win most levels without buying new cars (with real money) -no in game currency for buying cars Etc. I could go on for much longer. If you want to make this better, look at Smash Bandits, and make this more similar. Hutch really let us all down with this one..Version: 1.10.12

✓ Beautiful game, shame about the greedy IAPThis game starts out amazingly, stunning graphics, and good playability...until about 7 missions in, where it gets almost impossible to level up. Unless you use the viciously overpriced IAP's: £2 for five boots that last 6 seconds each - plain stupid and greedy. A crying shame - with more sensible pricing & difficulty settings, this could be a massive success. Instead, most people, like me, will delete it when you can go no further without spending literally tens, if not hundreds of £. ✓ Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Once I was close to unlocking another vehicle, all I needed were a couple stars to get it, unfortunately once I got at least three stars worth of a mission, it gives me only one star. This happened to me quit a couple of times making me sooooo mad that I had to delete the game. It takes me days to get stars due to the fact that the controls that they give you to go left to right with your thumb are very stupid. That’s why I got so mad because I worked hard to unlock every vehicle as possible. However, the game can be fun at most points but I can’t be enjoying it with unfairness. 🧐🧐🧐.Version: 1.10.12

However, I’m playing now on newer iPhone so I wish this game was updated with better graphics and actually fits the screen. ✓ Too HardA very fun game to play but it's too hard and requires purchases that I am not willing to buy if I ever wanted to finish it. A few improvements to consider: 1. Less stars to unlock cars or more cars. 2. Balance later missions (get rid of other cops as they are a hindrance/ reduce friendly damage amongst others). 3. Award loyalty like other apps by giving out free bonuses to those who keep playing. Or a daily challenge where you can be awarded these bonuses. 4. More missions and increase the variety to extend the playability. More unlocks such as spike tracks or road blocks that you can call in place would also do the trick. I realise that you need to make money and this would assist you in doing so by increasing popularity. By all means increase the advertising in order to make this a better game. I hope you do listen to this feedback because it will take your game to the next level..Version: 1.04.00

✓ Manipulating difficulty to sell power-ups is cringe.Tuning down the vehicles, raising the star requirement for vehicles, and possibly raising the criteria for getting the same amount of stars. All the above that Hutch has done unnecessarily complicates gameplay. Then when you, frustrated, hit restart in a level, the game happily presents the power-up ad. The original Smash Cops is a brilliant and innovative game, and it's more worthwhile to just pay for that once and for all than for the endless power-ups in this freemium version..Version: 1.10.12
✓ Good game, but one problem.This is a good game, however, I attempted to encourage my son to beat the Big Rig, after watching him fail 26 times, I decided to try it for myself, I found out that the Big Rig has too much health. This was a waste of time, good job on making the missions easy before, now you made them impossible. I'd give this about three stars. Edit: I played the mission 1 year later. Still hasn't been made easier. However the big rig mission I found a way to get 5 stars with the Enforcer car. Basically, you have to save up super cops and instarams, and you use the super cops and instarams..Version: 1.10.12

✓ WarningThe game requires you to smash up cars that cause damage to your own car unless you buy something called "Super cop". "Super cop" lasts 6 seconds a pop and cost $4.15 for 10!! In other words this game will end up costing $4.15 a minute if you want actually play. The other annoying thing is "Super cop" doesn't add to the game it just make you invisible and super strong which remove the skill factor from the game. Cons : the controls are good by the finger touch but then the finger gets in the way of seeing my car on the screen. And the other control pad option makes it harder to steer. Also be careful of swiping through cars in the garage because you’ll see a small option below to buy the car with real money. But if you tap on the actual full view of the car it still goes through of you wanting to buy the car. Another thing I hate is the fact that after you use so many quick rams that you eventually run out of them and have to spend real money for more of them. ✓ Get your wallet outThis is a fairly simple chase/race game, that allows you to ram into other vehicles (becomes monotonous). The problem is, this is yet another game that will cost you a small fortune to get any longevity from it. The first couple of 'missions' are ok and you can complete them easily, and it will only take you a few minutes to do so. Then come the vehicles you have to beat that can tolerate far more punishment than you and your simple vehicle can ever deliver to them. This is were you will need to buy lots of £1.99 extras just to keep progressing through the game (and eventually the game will become so easy, it will be tedious). It doesn't take skill to progress through this game, it takes cash. A monkey with access to a credit card could complete a game like this. There is no way you can progress without spending a large amount of cash. An amount that far exceeds the game's quality. Take a look at how much you actually spend on these games, then consider how limited and simple the games are, and you'll soon realise you are being had..Version: 1.03.00

✓ Very annoyingI really liked the original smash cops so downloaded this when I saw it. The whole gameplay has changed from the original and not for the better. It is far far more difficult and the only way to progress is by buying more packs, it's ridiculous. And the old 'super cop' boost now only lasts for about 10 seconds rather than a whole mission so you have to use a bunch of them in one mission and surprise surprise, buy some more if you want to progress. Boosts are far more limited unless you use 'insta-boosts' which again run out extremely quickly so you have to, you guessed it, buy some more. This game is a rip off, like others have said either make it decent and a paid app or don't sell it at all, there's no way I'd recommend this game.Version: 1.03.00

✓ Ruined by IAPInitial impression was positive. Graphics are very impressive and the controls are intuitive. But after a while, it becomes almost impossible to level up without spending £££ on IAPs. So frustrating in fact that I simply deleted the game. Too many developers are doing this nowadays, ruining their apps with excessive use of spendable IAPs (e.g. In-game currency, etc.; "instaram" in this case). There was a time where only dodgy coin dozer developers did that and others still had some dignity. It's gotten so bad that I now rarely ever download an app that has these type of IAPs. ✓ Smash Cops HeatIf you missed the original Smash Cops when it was originally launched, there's no need for you to rewind and install it before you make your way to this sequel. That's because Heat is practically identical to the debut Smash Cops, which means it's sadly no better and just as limited. Heat boasts sharper graphics and nicer textures than its predecessor, but unfortunately the same godawful handling system remains intact. Turning your car by swiping your finger behind it is incredibly frustrating and highly inexact - what was so wrong with onscreen joysticks? Levels are also highly repetitive and quickly become familiar, and with such a nicely finished world included, why aren't we allowed to explore it? Apart from some minor aesthetic tweaks, Smash Cops Heat is just the same as, well, Smash Cops. Just as awkward, just as jerky, and just as confusing.
