✓ Fun, but short sword... What's the point?I found this to be one of the more fun games in the Cartoon Wars series. It's quite comparable to Gunner except that the balancing has quite a few problems. I'm on level 151 and I'm noticing there's not really a point to the short sword, no matter it's level or strength. All the game sends out are the foes with staffs that just block the short sword and then attack. So why bother with the short sword? I find that if I run around and try not to die, I'm better off using my long sword. Except that the red gauge always makes me run around again. ✓ Where the dev took a turn for greedThis is the game in this series where it took a turn for the worse...& all because of the pay to win mentality the developer took! Not good guys. REALLY not good! Your newer game CW3 is even more hardcore greedy than this one too! Now I know you guys have gotta eat, but you should have CHARGED for downloading the game while making the replay-ability of it better by improving the upgrade system via getting rid of the diamonds & degrading equipment & status strengths the further on you play; Just like your 3 previous games. & because of this, NOW you will get people, like myself, who will download this for free, HATE it, & move on to a better app that doesn't follow in your money-gouging philosophies. ✓ Cool game but...This game is fun and all, but as you progress through the stages, you expend gold and crystals much faster than you take in, causing severe problems in character progression. The game basically forces you to begin buying currency when its true difficultly sneaks up on you at around stage 65-67 or so... Having the ability to run the S+ dungeons repeatedly for gold and crystal rewards would be a very satisfying improvement..Wicked_SlyVersion: 1.0.1

✓ Frustratingly difficultSure, the game's fun at first. I don't care about pricey weapons, just the fact that every now and then a near-invincible wizard comes out of no where and has you constantly running in circles away from his little ice circles of irritation. Not to mention he can spawn 15 at a time. There's also the little walking machine gun (that will also sometimes be overpacked with health) that can just lay waste to my little warrior. Then, despite my efforts, I leave the battlefield with a very tiny bit of gold and not a crystal to my name, crushing my hopes of returning with a chance of victory. ✓ Another real money hungry appYou never make enough money in the game to keep your weapons and armor up to par with the strength of the enemies of your current lvl. Once you play for hours to save up for a stronger weapon and buy it then get to the next lvl that weapon is no longer strong enough and you can't get past the lvl or make any money in that lvl. From stage 1-forever you make the same amount of money the whole game. They just hope that you'll drop tons of real dollars on. I reached up to around level 80.. And the balance of game is too .. Uneven . At first , it's easy , but money falls short for equipment thus , making enemies harder to defeat . Please lower the prices of the late game weapons . I also want to mention the energy towers . Maybe double tapping them instead of automatic would be better . The purple one goes up and it keeps me in my weakened gun form . No me gusta . More health towers in battle mode ? Consumables would be a great addictive , for cheap gold . An honest 3 star . ✓ Stuck at level 338Making better weapons and abilities increase substantially in price and then capping gold earned at 6000 was a stupendously stupid design decision. I am stuck with no way to advance now with underpowered weapons, all dungeons completed and no options. Limited dungeons, no way to increase gold earning like in Gunner and gold caps ruined this game for me. So frustrating. Granted, I got a lot of hours of entertainment out of it but to trap me at a certain level without even a way to farm more gold is idiotic. If you think for a second I'm going to pay 30 dollars for fake gold to advance you're crazy. I might not buy any further games or recommend any other games like this if you guys continue to regress in your design choices. Gunner was solid at least you could max out if you put enough time in it, now no matter how good you are you're going to run out if money. ✓ NEEDS UPDATEYou guys need to update so I can get over 50 for stats because on my phone I got hp max but it is --. You also should add more dungeon so we can do more than just stages. There needs to be more guns so we can keep up with their stats needs. You need to fix the gold bug so we can get new gear 6K per a round is not enough. There is also a bug with the flamethrower that makes you stop moving even though the move button shows I should be moving. You guys really need to update so we know you listen to us or else we will stop buying your games because we know you don't care about the customers. ✓ Wonderful, loved the gameIt was very fun, but it has a few resolvable problems that I'd love to see fixed. At the end of the game it is very difficult to get enough money and crystals to buy weapons to keep up with the increasingly harder waves of enemies. Right now I'm stuck with weak equipment (relative to the level at which I am) and am not strong enough to win anymore rounds so I can get money to upgrade my weapons. What I would like to see would be some extra endgame dungeons so it's possible to buy the equipment needed. Also the money and crystals received at the end of each level has leveled off at 6000 gold and 12 crystals each round. It would be greatly appriciated if this could continue increasing proportionately to the levels' difficulty. Other than that (and some overpriced equipment) I really enjoyed the game. ✓ Good, but...This is a good game, but it could have been better. First off the weapons are very hard to hit. With the weapons I have used having very short range moves. Like the staff has a close range swipe. If I wanted a close move I would use my sword. While the blocking is annoying, at least give us a block or a move that breaks their block. Thanks. ✓ Needs some improvement.I liked the challenge of the game. You have more items you can upgrade and choose from. The gold was a little hard to save up though and took awhile to get the final weapons. I did not like how the game kept getting harder and harder, when you have everything maxed out including the final weapons. It gets to the point where even the best final weapons are not good enough to take out the monsters which is why this game did not get a 5 star rating. Two stars off because of this disadvantage at the end of the game. ✓ A few problemsFor the most part the game seems good. Many weapons with upgrades and many levels and enemy types. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of range inconsistency. When you attack you only control the direction, you don't know exactly which attack you will use and they vary in range. So you might try to hit and enemy with a sword by using a spear to outrange it but instead you do a low kick with short range and they run up and hit you..CaptainBenzaVersion: 1.0.1

But I'm at a point were its stupid hard to progress because my weapons and armor get in efficient the very next level I buy them so the levels get hard as buns. ✓ It's very fun! But...You really start to reach a point where you can't go any farther, you only get gems from winning rounds and they are used to upgrade most of your stuff, so can't win, can't get better. All you get is tiny amounts of gold from losses and only 1 weapon upgrades on gold, the armor (a very big deal later) needs gems too which is another big reason you're screwed if you can't win anymore. Also the guns are highly underpowered, they're kinda like a super mode but honestly later the swords do more because they're what you have to invest all your gems into because the costs are so high and you're screwed when you get stuck in a boss round with a gun points generator leaving you locked in gun mode. I don't mind spending money on a game I like, but I spent $3 in gems and it got me almost no where. Lots of balancing needs done..Ed lihead1Version: 1.0.1

✓ Starts okay until ...Difficultly increases far beyond what your gold and crystal drops will allow you to upgrade and manage. It's a terribly designed freemium game made to get your money to progress or waste your time grinding. Worst of all, even if you're doing okay with weaker gear, the obnoxious garbage devs made the game spam you to upgrade after any battle even if you don't have the funds to upgrade. Hilariously bad. ✓ Starts out OK but then....I bought Cartoon Wars Gunner and at first I thought Blade was an improvement. There are a few cutscenes and the Dungeons are nice because it gives you a chance to get extra gold. I didn't like the addition of crystals. You need crystals to get better upgrades for your weapons, gun, and helmet, but you only get crystals for clearing Dungeons or stages. After playing through over 400 stages I got to the point where I didn't have enough gold or crystals to upgrade my stats and equipment so the enemies kept destroying me. Even worse, the game penalizes you if your HP and equipment levels are too low for the stage you are on! I was able to make it through the first 200 or so stages pretty easily because I stayed with the weaker weapons for as long as possible so I could save up for better gear. But then it got to the point where, after getting to Infinity stage 299 and clearing all the Dungeons I can't move forward anymore unless I get lucky. So unless you enjoy this level of frustration or have $50 to spend on getting more gold and crystals you might want to avoid this title..Al54913Version: 1.0.1

✓ Not as good as gunnerIt's obvious that this game is trying to be CW:Gunner. It's not. My first complaint is the actual gameplay. Want to kill that archer? Sorry, your attacks knock it away from you and you can't move while you're attacking. Second, the range at which you can hit enemies, horizontally and vertically, is far too small. The controls are unresponsive and unreliable; I often find myself unable to move for no reason. There is no storyline to speak of (but then, there wasn't really one in gunner either). The switch to the ranged weapon is unpredictable and often comes at an inopportune time, particularly when you REALLY need to use that heal skill. But nope, you are forced to switch your weapon. The dungeons are pointless and repetitive; there is literally nothing to differentiate between them and the normal levels. Overall, This game is just not designed well. ✓ Unable to open since day 1 - and why Gamevil?I've never been able to open this app. It loads a white screen for a few seconds, and then crashes. Major disappointment. I've been a fan of Cartoon Wars since the first one was released. Cartoon Wars: Gunner was my favorite, and after being disappointed by the hero mode of Cartoon Wars 2, I was eager for another "Hero-only" Cartoon Wars game. Sadly, I can't run it, despite having a pristine iPhone 4. Also, why does Gamevil have anything to do with this? Did I miss something? I want to support BlueGNC, not whatever this company is. ✓ Great potential badly exacutedIt is a really good game but the fact there is no block and the scrolling of the screen is so slow it takes away from the gameplay. Another thing that takes away is the capsule like things in the stages only open when you don't need it ex: I was low on health and had the health capsule in the background, I clear the enemies and move to the next screen and it blows up not giving me anything. ✓ Worst Cartoon Wars Yet!!!!This game is by far the worst game that they have released. The other games they have made such a cartoon wars gunner(my personal favorite) have been phenomenal time killers and fun games at that. But this game is just awful! It starts out fine and dandy but once you get in the higher stages the game becomes impossible without spending $100 for gold to by one weapon that will just be out dated in 5 stages or so. This game is clearly a plea for money because it is designed very poorly. And the dungeons get ridiculously lengthy and the reward for completing each stage of the dungeon and regular stage is not nearly enough to keep up with the demand for upgrading you items without having to use cash to purchase gold. I would like to see some sort of gold multiplier or new weapons of sorts to fill in the gaps and more levels so you don't have to pound your head against a wall doing the dungeons just to have your weapon replaced in just a few stages.
