✓ Wonderful but hopelessly flawedThere is much that is impressive about Ravensword: Shadowlands. I want it to be wonderful, it has the potential to be awesome, and in some ways it is my ideal sort of game. **BUT** this is a late beta version and should not have been released until fully tested. Basically there is a bug with North Aven, which is the hub for the game. Twice the same bug has happened - both after about 250 minutes play. The game will not let me re-enter North Aven (from any direction, or by transporting across using the map). The first play through the same bug meant I could not get out of a building that was inside the town. DO NOT BUY THIS UNTIL THE RELEASE IS SOUND, otherwise it is bizarrely frustrating..Version: 1.01

✓ Not that greatGraphics nice but game very simple and easy to finish. Enjoyable 10 hours of game time, puzzle was fun but not many puzzles in game. An add on for this game would be great. Money system is bit unrealistic, items too expensive, goblins carrying 50 gold coins etc etc, the eating food system was annoying, most good rpg remove the need for food because players find it annoying. City felt dead a few guards walking around. Not much thievery stuff to do, this was fun what was there and the stealth system was good fun. Max out sword and magic damage with stealth and the game is very easy too easy, though the early levels are a bit tedious with just boars, rats and low level goblins. You can die many times on cave trolls till you understand you need to level up a few times. Map quest locator not very good, you can wander around with no clue where to go for ages. Quest descriptions lack in location information, especially return to hand in quests, some I never found the quest giver again. Only one game crash bug for me with the archery house quest, I saw the error code in description so just abandoned it, easy fix . If the game ever crashes when entering northern city, check your side quests for any weird code and abandon. Improve the quest locator pointer, add more side quests and puzzles, some end game stuff.... There is nothing to do after the main story is done... Awaiting add ons. Overall the game is ok, nothing great if you are after a real role playing game..Version: 1.01

✓ Ravensword2I played Ravensword2 and agree the graphics look cool. But the ai of computer controlled characters is poor. I wanted to like this game and in the main I do but it is seemingly lacklustre and a poor imitation of Skyrim. If you have played Oblivion and Skyrim I believe Ravensword 2 will be a disappointing experience. The whole game has little niggling faults such as items overlapping in the inventory, the training to increase your skills seems pointless and to progress is just a matter of grinding through lower rated enemies. The story is forgettable and somewhat non engaging. I would personally save your money and look for a more entertaining game :).Version: 2.0

✓ Honestly disappointedI don’t know what happened to this game. I’ve played and finished the whole game a few years ago, and re downloaded (paid money) it recently because of nostalgia. Honestly back in the day this game was considered one of the best ios game out there, the graphics, story, combat setting was just amazing even in nowadays. But the moment I downloaded it, I found out that you guys had changed the storyline flow and made it unbelievably harder and not playable. The first mission in my memory was a slow pace, long journey, exp gaining trip, but now it’s unbelievably and unnecessary shortened and unbalanced. Like straight up slaying troll with starter equip? You’re no match against it at all, a few hit and you’re dead. Like I seriously don’t understand why you guys have to change it in such an aspect. Rather than giving it an update. ✓ Controls & OverallI love the game, great graphics , good storyline and very addictive. But I find the looking control very awkward and uncomfortable. I find that you have to slide your finger across the screen about 5 times just to look to your left a bit, this is very annoying as you are clicking the sword button to attack and at the same time your sliding your finger, I think this makes it very tricky to do anything, I suggest making another virtual joystick to look around as you have with the walking joystick as I don't find the swiping feature very effective. ✓ Awesome FailureWould be the best game on iPhone if it only had quest target locations on the compass. Yes, that feature really means that much to me and is the only reason why this is a 2 star review and not 5. Because I really can't see myself playing it when I have no idea what areas the quests want me to go to. At least I am happy to see Bethesda rip-offs. I hope to see many more first person RPGs like this. Needs better save / load features as well as staying in last view mode upon load. ✓ Okay gameVery nice graphics, unfortunately this is ruined by the terrible controls. Sometimes my character walk forward without me even touching the screen. When in first person view, your weapon usually covers up a majority of the view, which head lead to walking into a number of places that i wouldn't have liked to. The battle system is too hard when you're outnumbered due to the fact that the game slows down too much when battling something as simple as goblins. When trying to dodge attacks the character most of the time will just jump in the air, which means the time you could have spent attacking the foe is spent in the air taking on damage and automatically eating yiur precious food source. I hope that these problems get sorted as it makes the game near on impossible to complete. If you haven't got patience then don't spend the five pounds for a nice scenic walk around, if you have then go ahead..Version: 1.1

The character when moving and running is angled oddly, it looks like he is running sideways and when you want to look around it scrolls too quickly. ✓ A fantastic game with a massive problemLike so many others i have been waiting an age for this game, and it hurts to say but within minutes my heart sank a little. the graphics, audio, story so far, animation are all pretty much perfect..... BUT, the control scheme lets everything down. like most iOS games of this type, you swipe up,down,left and right to move the camera and change view point, but the attack and jump buttons are so high up the right side of the screen, that you cant wipe unless you have giant hands... why why why can I not customise the screen layout??? also even on the highest setting the sensitivity of the swipes is so slow and little that it take a dozen swipes to turn around.... ???? I hope Cresent Moon have a quick update coming to resolve these problems, as this could so easily be the biggest iOS game over the xmas period, and one of the best all time games..Version: 1.0

Mine happened after I accepted the archery quest. Developers of this game you need to fix this fast. Exploring the beautiful landscape is great and there is a level of deepness in it which would have made this game an outstanding addition to the store.
