✓ No coherenceThis game was ok at the very beginning but as I continued playing it started not making sense. There was no rhyme or reason as to why you had to do or find certain things. ✓ Good concept, only average game...This game looks good and apart from a couple of crashes, plays well too. Nothing to wow you though. The iPhone is capable of some superb graphics, these are very good, but not the best the platform can handle. As there is little animation in puzzlers, the graphics should be amazing (Broken Sword, Discworld, Sam & Max all looked fantastic in their time) It was completed within 90 minutes. Not entirely challenging to an experienced puzzle gamer, although some puzzles were very random indeed. This makes the whole game slightly less value for money, leaving me feeling a bit robbed (although we're only talking pence in reality). It would be better as a free title. Finally, the English is less than great. It could do with a tweak on the translations and spelling..Wehey21Version: 1.2

✓ A for ATROCIOUSI’ll give this game two stars considering it’s quite a few years old, but that’s still no excuse for the $1.99 atrocity that awaits you. Amidst the plethora of games in this style I’ll never understand why the same flaws are never rectified, or at least improved upon. The only redeeming quality this game offers is its short length; let’s thank the developers for cutting the time play for this mess. Absolutely dreadful graphics, I mean, horrible. Muddled designs and catastrophically poor color schemes with a complete void of artistic flair. It’s difficult even knowing where to click in this high-contrast swamp of crap. The puzzles are mindless and nonsensically irritating. Why the hell would I use a coin for half of those things?? It’s a shame really, the developers having a decent level of programming knowledge and awareness of interface but to slap sloppy artwork and crap puzzles and call it complete. ✓ Challenging...So the game is very challenging... and not always in a good way. There are no instructions and no hints, which in a way is fine because it makes you explore and figure things out on your own. But as another reviewer stated, things start getting nonsensical and there's no option for even a small hint to help you decipher the game's internal logic. One example: you have to find pieces for a grandfather clock in one of the rooms. You get them all, except it's still missing its pendulum. You could search forever for this pendulum, but you'll never find it. However, something already in your inventory (something absolutely nothing like a pendulum) can substitute for the missing part. How would a player ever know this?! In addition, as the game goes on there are more and more doorways and rooms and sub-rooms. None of them are marked in any way and there's no map, so you keep going from place to place trying to figure out where you'd seen something that you now need. And once you finally find the area, you sit there like a dementia patient thinking, "now what did I come into this room for, again?" On the positive, the graphics are well done and aptly creepy for an app of this title. I liked small touches like tapping on certain objects in some rooms causes a voice or a visual effect. It could really be a great game if the logic behind tasks wasn't so random... or at least give the option of a hint every now & then..CS0472Version: 1.4.1
