✓ Feedback seems inconsistentSo far have worked through one of four levels. Some of the exercises it seems impossible to pass. Visual feedback [coloured in notes] seems to suggest I'm giving correct response, but I keep being told "try again". Not sure if app is buggy or not. Puzzling! ✓ So close...I use this app in piano lessons, and it has some flaws. As Pianoteacher3 mentioned, the app is not always accurate at determining whether or not rhythms have been played correctly. Specifically, in the earlier levels, some students have gotten frustrated and started just pushing the green button as quickly as possible — and the game counts it as correct! Students lose interest in actually playing the game once they discover this “trick”; they just want to button mash. This problem is reduced once rests are introduced..Version: 4.4

✓ Cute idea poor executionEverything past level 4 is simply a mess. The screen will not accept beats played correctly and will also not show mistakes like the first three levels. I downloaded this to help my beginning kids with their sheet music and it was a sad disappointment. I gave one star for the concept and one star for the cats..Version: 5.3

✓ As a band director . . .I think this app as many strengths including: - Visually appealing. - Great music to tap too (even some of the French songs too . . . ) - An "angry birds" style reward screen (with 3, 2, or 1 stars of accomplishment). However, some of its weaknesses might make it too difficult for a kid (or an adult for that matter) to use correctly. This includes: - The lack of a clear auditory clue that you pressed the button and held it down for the correct length. (Combined with:) - The visual clue that you correctly played the note is delayed by almost a beat, leading to confusion that I actually played the right note at the right time. If these were fixed, I could see this being one of the best apps for rhythm training on the App Store! Just my thoughts . . ..Version: 1.0
✓ This could be wonderful!This game is a lot of fun until you hit a level where it is impossible to pass, not because the rhythm isn’t executed properly but because the program doesn’t quantize the answer properly. It would be helpful if there was an option to change the tempo of the music to help a student achieve a challenging level..Version: 4.7
✓ In need of some updatesI love this app, I really do. I use it all of the time with my students at the middle school level. I have found though that the accuracy of the rhythms needed are not always true to what is written. If you subdivide eighth notes (just tap repeatedly with no regard for the rhythm) you can still pass the levels with three stars. On the half note level, game eight, the eighth notes do not register and I cannot pass the level (I have two music degrees, I promise I'm doing it correctly!) A few bugs to fix and it will be great. The music that is used is diverse and catchy and is a good combination of well known music and less well known folk music of other cultures. Graphics are great..Version: 1.0

✓ Rhythm catI really loved the app and purchased it for my students; however, on level 3 game 11 it always registers as failed level so you become stuck :( The rhythm reads as being correct, but then fails you anyway. i have a master's degree in music so I know I am doing it correctly. ✓ Lag is spoiling this appIPad Pro 12” I’m a music teacher and professional musician, I would love this app to be more accurate with its timing – it doesn’t register the taps accurately, calling up errors time and time again. Please fix and bring up to the standard of your other apps. At present it is unusable. Note: Your advanced version Rhythm Cat 2 doesn’t suffer from this problem at all..Version: 5.0

✓ Could be great...I've had this game for a while now and like to use it as an incentive at the end of piano lessons. However, yesterday I noticed one of my students who struggles with rhythm was not with the beat at all and it was still turning the notes green. ✓ Update needs workMy students have LOVED this game over the past couple years, but now they complain about the sluggishness between screens and we do not like the new scrolling feature where the student must move their eyes quickly back up a line, whereas before the entire rhythm could fit on one page.
