✓ Waste of time!I loved world of goo so bought this as soon as i saw it and am pretty disappointed. Repetitive game play that isn't even fun and a dull story that develops painfully slowly. The game tries to go for satire and mock ipad/ipod games that have no story, take up time, and charge you money but ends up jus imitating them leaving you feeling like the joke is on you... Or the developers! As with world of goo the visuals are good, however they seem to get worse as the game progresses, particularly the final sequences. ✓ Good gameI find this such a cool game to just mess around with. It has a silly sense of humour to go along with the fun idea of burning lots of different items. I loved it, up until it started crashing. Now I can honestly say I have pretty much never had an app that crashes more than once on me but for some reason this one crashes every couple of minutes for me. If i happen to be in the middle of burning something I lose the item and I don't get the money I would receive from burning it. Also if I am burning a combo it often crashes as the stamps fall down and I lose all the money for the items I lose the items and it says when I come back that I haven't even done the combo. I really want to play this game but for me it's practically unplayable the 3 stars is because I can see how much I would enjoy it if it worked. 5 if it did..CrazylemurVersion: 1.0.1

✓ PointlessI've never written a negative reviewn before, but after wasting $5.50 on this completely pointless 'game' I feel I have to give fair warning to all potential buyers. The description says that the less you know about it, the better it is .... But really, that's just a clever way of disguising the fact that there is nothing in this. There is no 'game' at all. To be totally truthfull, I only played for about 5 minutes. So there may be some out there who would say I needed to play for longer, but there was nothing going on to encourage that. I was struggling to work out what I was supposed to do because there was no tutorial, but of course, there was no tutorial because there is, literally, nothing to do. You put things in a fireplace and burn them. That's it. While trying to figure out what the 'game' aspect was, I found that you can earn 'combos' by burning things together. So to 'achieve' the 'cycling pirate' combo, you burn the bicycle and the pirate together I kept looking for the puzzles only to eventually find, by reading an online review by some poor soul who, as part of his job presumably, HAD to play the whole thing, that the 'combos' actually were the puzzles, burning multiple things at once! - That's right, that is all it is. So if you've got incredible patience, or it's for your job, and you don't mind shelling out $5.50 for a 'game' that would be expensive for $0.99, then this one is for you..RedFinitoVersion: 1.0.1

✓ Emperor’s New ClothesAll you do is put items in the fireplace to burn them, get more coins,get more items, burn them, and so on. The only gameplay is in working out which items the Combo List wants you to burn together. Big deal. The thing everyone is getting excited about is the story that unfolds through letters. However, it's pretty obvious almost immediately what the story is. If you've ever played Braid or Limbo you can probably guess it the moment you unlock the first few new items to burn. All you basically do is burn things until 1 day your neibour tells you to burn down your house. Thwn you go discover outside and you leave. Thats all! ✓ Phenomenal GameThis is game is really just an outstanding game! The graphs are phenomenal! And I love the concepts of the game. The only problem is that I wish there was more to do. Once you finish the game, the only thing you can really do is restart and do pretty much the same stuff. ✓ Not worth the moneyIt kept me entertained for an hour or so. I pressed through because people said the ending was worth it. It wasn't. The developers seem to think they are too clever by half. Some of the clues for combinations were fun, but that quickly got old. I know the gameplay loop was aped from freemium games to satirize them, but it's still a crappy gameplay loop. I hate timers on anything even if it's to make a point rather than take my money. But at the end of the game I feel like it was a waste of 2.5 hours and $3. Was over-the-moon with enthusiasm and decided to download it as was on sale. $0.99 was only compatible with iPhone 4s and up and also iPod touch 5th gen and up so it won't work for me as i own a iPod touch 4th gen. Thought that the HD version would work and it didn't say otherwise in the app details and listed that it was compatible with iPod Touch 4th gen. ✓ Disappointing, over-priced & short-livedI bought this game due to the rave reviews, it being Editor's Choice in the App Store, and made by the same people who bright me 'World of Goo', which I'm still playing on off after 3 months. 'Little Inferno' on the other hand is a game I've felt I've had to play to justify having paid for it. With so little to do apart from buying things to burn and a very annoying 'neighbour' I had no affection for and resented sending gifts to (a game requirement) and having to work out combos of items to burn to progress to the next level/catalogue - the clues for which are often so cryptic and hard to work out (you need to remember how each of the 100 or so items work individually to work out some of the combos) I ended up resorting to online 'cheats' to even progress through the game. And now after 3 hours of play, the game is almost over, and I can't even be bothered to work out what the last 4 items I need to finish it off, so I've to given up, and gone back to 'Paper Galaxy' for some fun (cheaper and with many more hours of gameplay). Expected far more from this game after 'World of Goo'. Very disappointed, to the point of wanting a refund - or an update that makes the game more interesting with more things to do.
