✓ Always uploads one fewer file than I selectThis app worked great for a long time and has been an essential tool for me. Unfortunately, something changed about a year ago, and as things stand now, uploading via SMB always uploads one fewer fille than I select. Select 5, it uploads 4. Select 10, it uploads 9. Select 1, it uploads nothing. Consistently. This really makes the app far less usable than it used to be. I really hope the app gets some love soon. Otherwise, I am a fan..Version: 4.0.0

Try downloading a file from network share to local iOS device storage; progress bar never moves and eventually you’ll get an error message. Try to view an image file; it’ll take forever to load. Try to look up the user manual via the app; it’s the user manual for version 1 of the app even though you are running version 4. Try to view or copy files from your iOS device via the app; local storage only shows the auto generated Remote File Manger folder and images stored in Apples photo app..Version: 4.0.0
✓ Don't buy this app!Bottom line, the app has a big problem in that it takes a looong time accessing the network attached storage (in my case, a Time Capsule). I have contacted the developers as other similar apps almost instantly connect to the Time Capsule. The developers haven't been able to fix the problem. I HIGHLY recommend you check out an app called OPlayer (there are two apps called Oplayer, one is a rip off of the original--avoid the rip-off!). OPlayer is flawless at interacting with the Time Capsule, and has more features, and it's cheaper!.Version: 2.0.4

✓ Video transfer not goodAll works apart from transferring video files to a network storage device. Phones freezes up on starting transfer then unfreezes moments later bit video file corrupt on the nas same file on windows phone no probes and tuck 4 seconds to transfer . ✓ BrokenI use this app a lot for playing remote mp4 videos. It has always been a little temperamental and tends to bomb out part way through playback - memory leak perhaps? ✓ Good but some issuesI enjoy this app when it works. It takes about 3 to 5 minutes for the app to access my computer when I’m in the same room as the computer and wifi point. ✓ Use to be greatAsked to rate again. Jan 09 2019 Still doesn’t play mkv files that have sub titles. Been like this for over year. Good for transferring files on the network, renaming, deleting etc and looking at photos. Asked to rate again. Apr 25 2018 Still the same problem with mkv files but have played around with accessing Google drive and One drive which it does quite well but still won't play some mkv files from the Google drive where as the Google drive will play everything. Asked to rate again. Jan 17 2018 .. All I can say is read below. Would've given it 5 stars but hardly plays any mkv video files now. The only thing I use it for now is deleting movies I've watched from my network drive. This used to be my favourite app but not any more..Version: 3.5.1

✓ Paid to find its limitationsAlthough you can file share and play movies from a Time Capsule as advertised, the transcoding engine needs improvement. Avi/mp4's will stream seamlessly, however once you pay for the full version to stream Mkv, you see the shortcomings. Chop, stops, and enough lag for the audio to be almost 2sec behind the video. I stream to a iPad 3 from a 4th gen 2tb time capsule over wifi n. There should not be a problem. A valuable $5.00 lesson..Version: 2.0.3

✓ I am starting to wonder what is the point?I want a way to copy/move and manage files on iCloud, Google Docs, but apparently it does neither. So what is the point if you cannot do either off these activities? Apple already provides a crappy file manager - crappy because it is buggy for google docs or at least that is my experience. To be fair, it seems to offer delete/create folder and rename. You can also make it a favorite, but these things I do rarely. And further, if you want to view numerous documents inside the app, that apparently works. But most of these features are available in other apps.
