✓ Overall goodI enjoyed this game - decent length, not a bad story, beautiful graphics, relatively challenging - although there did seem to be some laziness towards the end and especially in the bonus chapter, and the voice acting is pretty awful. Play it on expert if you want to get your money's worth. I was a bit disappointed after the first HOS that there were no more like it, the rest are just standard... That scene was what drew me in in the first place, being a little different to the norm. Also, the majority of the puzzles were just far too easy. The challenge only really comes from having to figure out what to do next and how to use objects, etc. Still, a pretty good game!.Version: 1.0.0
✓ Wow, one of the bestI play a lot of HOPs. While I enjoy the puzzle aspect, a lot of the stories are either manufactured or barely there. The other end of the spectrum has story driven games, but the puzzle aspect is lacking. This one balances both perfectly. I am in the game and invested in the outcome. ✓ Lake House is very enjoyable HO Adventure gameI enjoyed the HO Adventure game very much. The story was entertaining, and the many mini games were a nice change from just HO scenes. I was also quite happy with this collectors edition, because having the extra game play makes you feel as though you got your money's worth. I have been disappointed in the past when purchasing a collectors edition and only getting wallpaper and art work as an extra. When gamers purchase a collectors edition I feel they are expecting extra game play too. So two thumbs up for the creators of the collectors edition. :-).Version: 1.0.0

✓ Wow!This game is fantastic! It’s like the way games used to be before developers just started churning them out as fast as they can. I love Alawar games, they are always unique. The music and scenery are creepy and sad, as befits the story. The mini games are not difficult, but they are entertaining. The hos are played twice. This is obviously an older game, but in a good way. No cookie cutter formulaic crap, real creativity is at work here. It’s very long, and the bonus is decent as well. At the end there are 9 trivia facts, which I found amusing and showed the development team as real human beings. There are no collectibles, which I found to be a breath of fresh air; I could just get lost in the story without starting each scene looking for a morphing object or whatever. And while yes, it’s a story about stopping a villain, I felt it was a fresh take on that theme. Thank you Alawar!!.Version: 1.0.1

I wish BF would stop spreading themselves so thinly with so many average game. ✓ Clear English for once!I’ve had this for a couple of years and played it several times. It has the usual unlikely plot and a protagonist who appears to have major memory loss problems but the art work is beautifully grimy! The instructions for the mini games are clear and straightforward. There’s a lot less getting the names of objects wrong than in many other Big Fish games. I find it very frustrating when I’m looking for a cup which is actually a goblet and in my mind a shovel and a trowel are two different tools; it’s really nice not to have these problems.Version: 1.0.1

✓ Stunning!I was nearly buying This game for my laptop last year (cost £6.99) but decided not to. So glad I didn't as now I get to play on my ipad. One of the best games I've played from big fish and in my opinion worth every penny. Graphics are stunning. So is story. Trying to only play a bit each day to make it last. However the story is well thought out, graphics are great and the thought process for the game certainly gets you thinking.
