✓ Best Rewards-Worst App I Have Ever TriedThis is the best rewards program I belong to but it is also the very worst functioning app I have. It often does not work. “Our apologies, an unknown error has occurred.” Over and over again. 0 offers loaded and last week and this weeks new problem, “No flyer this week” when I know there is a flyer. ✓ Servers down for more than 3 days nowSo i got an email telling me to download this app for 5000 pc points. But the servers have been down since i installed it, over 3 days ago. So all I know for now is that the servers aren't stable and that it uses a crappier keyboard than your default one. I will update this review when (if?) the servers come back up. ✓ App is missing featuresThe hardest thing is trying to match points from MasterCard spends . It is very hard to work out when they have missed points off. Each MasterCard transaction should have the exact points awarded right alongside the purchase instead of having to add up what was spent on a particular day especially as some transactions take longer to process . Particularly hard when there are ‘double dip’ transactions as say, esso. This app could be so much better.Version: 3.2.2

✓ Don’t Bother DownloadingAn absolutely useless app (and the site is just as bad), don’t waste the space on your phone. No matter what I try, neither the app nor site will let me make an online purchase and redeem my points, always saying “We’re unable to place your order. It’s a technical problem on our end. Try again.” I’ve tired again. Ten times. Uninstalled and reinstalled, tried on different browsers and while Incognito. Cleared cache. Everything. Contacted customer service for help, they replied with stock suggestions, I tried to reply to the email like they said I could, then got an email saying I needed to use the contact form again because *they can’t reply to the emails*. It truly seems like a ploy by the company to keep their customers from redeeming high value amounts of points. So disappointed..Version: 5.0.3

✓ Can’t update preferred storeWhat’s the point of this app/PC Optimum if I can’t update my preferred store myself? Most of the offers I get are for a store in another province, where I used to live. I moved out of the province and stopped shopping there over a year ago, yet my preferred store never updated. I was told by customer service that it would update automatically after I’ve shopped at a new store for a few months (!), but that never happened. Also most people do not shop at one single store repeatedly - they shop at multiple stores. This system is so stupid and pointless..Version: 5.0.7

✓ Good start but not there yetThis is a very limited shopping app. It's really just a vehicle to push weekly coupons. So more about Loblaws than the customer - however customized they think it is. Like the brilliant Wegmans app, you should be able to create your own shopping lists as well as lists from suggested recipes. And also like the Wegmans app, you should be able to see full nutritional information, label pictures and pricing for each and every product. It would also be good if you can filter by dietary concerns for those that are lactose or gluten intolerant, diabetic or by caloric intake. A better reporting tool and usage would be ideal as well - to track what and how much you are spending on a regular basis - as well as how much the coupons have saved you to date. So Loblaws if you can add this basic product information, some more relevant filters, relevant reporting and probably some social media options for adding recipes and wrap coupons around all that - then you have my complete and undivided attention. ✓ Bloated and limited return at most locationsThis app has gone from basic with a number of point opportunities, to bloated with so corporate office people trying to hype it up with a bunch of bloated fodder. No, most people don’t want the bloat. No, you do not receive points on ALL your purchases, only ones listed in the app as having points, so fake posts here it seems. Must be why the ratings on the app are not very high. Hey, if you would actually get points on all your purchases like other grocery stores and other points programs, it would get a higher rating. There are many listed points earnings that don’t actually give you the points, it’s actually worse than you expect. I very regularly have to request missing points as items clearly listed do not automatically give the points. One time I was denied 3 times until I phoned in and she said, I don’t know why they didn’t just give it to you, it’s clear, 3 PC Organic *** on your receipt. It’s a lot of effort to even get the points you are supposed to get. One store my points on the sign didn’t work and they said you have to ‘load’ them. There is no load button. Nothing to ‘load’. When I just want to see my offers I have to wade through piles of flier sales, scroll left, right, up, down, and open new pages. It’s such a hassle, especially if you want to check something on the fly while physically in the store. The latest update changed overnight from the time I checked my offers and made my grocery list to when I went shopping less than 24 hours later, and when I wanted to double check something at the store I couldn’t even find the offer anymore. ✓ Why even bother?In the last 6 years you’ve tried 3 times to revamp your rewards program. And in that time you’ve revoked all previously earned points... 3 times. Why should I even bother to collect points if you’re just gonna take them away when you get hacked again next year? I also ‘LOVE’ their super weird password requirements, security doesn’t start with making people make strong passwords. It starts with the people programming a system that ENCRYPTS, SALTS, and HASHES passwords on the server side. See for yourself: On your Watch, double-click the flat side button to open Wallet, then find and tap on wallet cards for any of these apps: Tim Hortons, Air Miles, Starbucks, 7-Up, Canadian Tire, Indigo - they ALL display barcodes. ✓ Unecessary HassleI don't see the point in loading coupons every week having to wait a week just to use them? Its almost as if I can only use them on a Thursday. What about for those that want to go grocery shopping on a Sunday or Monday? Also, in my saved offers, it will say it becomes available tomorrow and then the next day they just disappear and tell me to load new offers to save for the next week?
