✓ My all-time FAVORITE mobile game.I got this app for free via a service called AppGratis years ago, which was shut down. Even in 2023, I have yet to find another mobile game that is as fun as this one. The music is tailored to the gameplay and really sets the mood for each level. The narration is the right speed for a mobile game and provides just enough story to enhance the experience. The gameplay is never easy, but gets easier with experience and some levels take real skill. I like the fact that your mistakes are visible. My only suggestion for a future expansion would be to try a different type of storyline..Version: 3.19

Several times now after opening the game, after it was fully quit, when I go to play the wheel thing that you spin will just be spinning on its own. It will still respond to input and spin the opposite way but as soon as I take a finger off the screen it just goes back to spinning. It will stay this way even if I switch levels. If I force quit the app and re open this problem goes away so it’s not a big deal. I’m on iOS 11.1.2 on iPhone 7. I haven’t found a reliable way to recreate the bug..Version: 3.11

Duet has a bewitching way of suckering you into believing that THIS time you won't make the mistake you made last time, and therefore it will only be another minute or so before you will have completed the level. Twenty minutes later, you're still telling yourself that next time you'll do it - without any frustration (well not much), because the game gets absolutely the right balance so is challenging yet playable. Now, I've played it so much that the only levels that truly excite me nowadays are the epilogue + encore combination stages that are so few in number in the continuation mode. This might sound selfish, but I can't help it. When will the developers come out with new levels and modes? The potential of this game is endless. How about levels where the incoming blocks change the angle they're coming from throughout each wave? Or randomly changing the speed of the two dots? Maybe reach and try something that changes the position of the two dots in our control? Perhaps I've played too much lol. I don’t know how and exactly when but I remember not being able to play it anymore but it’s been in the back of my mind for years, and I haven’t been able to recall the name. I even tried to look up “spirit ball game” or “floating spirit game” one time and found nothing. I got kind of sad at the thought of it not being available anymore. A few minutes ago I was scrolling my iCloud purchase history and my heart jumped when I saw the iconic thumbnail picture. ✓ Dangerously addictive!I don't often write reviews, and when I do I do not exaggerate. That said please take it from a complete stranger that this game is truly brilliant. It starts off ok and you feel quietly joyous at completing the early levels. But the feeling feeling you get as the levels progress and get harder each time, leaves you feeling like you're the only one in the world who could have possibly done it! You need to have very good hand-eye coordination, and an abundance of patience, couple with a good memory to play this game. ✓ Satisfyingly challenging!As hard as this game gets at the end, and as much as I died on those last levels, I still found myself trying over and over and over again until I finally managed to finish. It's the type of game where even though you keep failing miserably, you unexplainably keep telling yourself that you're really good at it and that you'll complete it at any moment (Which is NOT the case!). The gameplay is very similar to the app 'Pivvot'. Except with 'Duet' there are TWO circles that you have to manoeuvre! One of the main features that stands out in this game is that it leaves a mark wherever you die. Perhaps to warn you about a difficult bit coming up, or even just to taunt you! Nonetheless, it makes it all that more satisfying when you finish a level that has been completely coated in areas where you've died beforehand. Everything felt very fluent and polished. The aesthetics are gorgeous, and the soundtrack is perfect. I have to say, the entire theme of the game was oddly hypnotising... Perhaps that's why I could never stop playing it! One thing I might suggest, is that it should remember where you've died after you've exited a level. For a while I really couldn’t get my head around the bars that open/shut as you pass them, which was infuriating. But with some practice my aged mind got to grips with them! There is plenty of main content in the story mode and there is a whole epilogue as well. The concentration and skill required to be successful at this game is mind blowing. The combination of the visuals in the background and the soothing sound effects make this just about the best game I have ever played. Also, the sense of achievement if you can complete this game is outstanding, although the fun never stops as there is endless mode for you. If the visuals mess with your mind then you can turn them off but they are a crucial part of the game. It really changes the way you think about many things. ✓ I love it/ I hate it!If you like puzzler type games that are a little different then you'll like this. Much like smash hit and blek the concept starts simple enough but soon becomes quite challenging. The controls are straight forward but you'll discover less is more when your reflexes start to be put to the test. It's got an interesting soundtrack and as much as you keep thinking "this is doing my head in I'm gonna have a break" you'll find yourself like an addict reaching for their pipe for one last little hit.
