✓ Not bad could do better.As a person who is very active at this game I think they could do better. A good thing about it is that there are no ads. LOVE that. Although when you get a word right sparkles and “glitter” come out from all sides, then when I get a word wrong or it’s not a word it goes away that kind of thing irritates me. Especially when I get a word right then wrong then right then wrong. All in all I think it’s very relaxing when your mind is out of control. It also refreshes your mind and brain. ✓ Familiar conceptI’ve played a game like this before that I absolutely loved but became so fed up with the in-app purchases that I reluctantly deleted it. This game totally fills that void. Even though I’m not finding much originality here and the design could be more polished, the app works well. ✓ Great game for idle timeThis game isn’t really that challenging. But that’s what makes it so much fun! It’s great for just burning up some time. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not mindless…the Owl puzzles will make you think about all possibilities before you submit a word. Some things to fix: I’m on level 660 and the picture rewards stopped displaying 400 levels or so ago. It still tells me what I SHOULD be seeing, but alas, no image. I only see the pictures that were there to begin with, shadows of the picture, or a loading symbol. I play this game on hi- speed internet so that’s not the issue. ✓ Slowly becoming repetitiveI’ve played over 1,000 levels and I’ve noticed there is a preference for 3 and 4 letter words which makes solving puzzles pretty boring when all the valid 3 letter words are from a limited pool. You join the available letters to fill in the word search inspired table. My only complaint is some words just don’t exist and this varies from level to level, so what’s valid in one level isn’t always valid in another. ✓ Fun game that’s almost thereMy last review was a 2/5 due to the lack of being able to listen to music/podcasts while playing. That has since been resolved. The game is a blast! I have played thousands of levels of Wordscapes in my years and this scratches that itch. I’d say the only thing I’d love to see would be leaderboards and a touch of optimization when going through menus (it drops frames or goes to 30fps when transitioning). ✓ Very addictive wordplayThank you! I played a pay version of a game similar to this, but had to give it up because the developer made the game unplayable and filled with ads. This game has the aame mechanics and it’s wonderful to be playing such a fun word game. It starts off very easy but builds as you go. I don’t know what it is, but it gets hard to stop playing. Some if the words you think will work don’t fit in the puzzle (you get bonus coin for them), and it’s that little tiny irritation that keeps you going.
