✓ Good concept but needs lot of improvementThe App has good concept and which I was looking for. But needs lot of improvements. Like when you want to store document by taking photo camera is on video mode, for Touch ID you have to touch keyboard first and then Touch ID area. No cloud syncing yet. Seems little buggy yet. But to be fair it's an amazing concept lacking in native iPhone. So I am happy to support the developer and have bought this product. I am sure the developer will improve the product. The developer is very lazy and there has been no update and improvement. Sadly great idea but let down by lazy team..Version: 2.1
✓ No longer Free. Files don’t transfer to other devices.I used to absolutely love this app because I could store all of my discrete photos, files, and info without limits and for FREE. Now they’re charging. I also had a wealth of photos, documents and cards stored into the app from my other phone but when that phone crashed, I installed this app to my new phone and my photos and documents were lost..Version: 6.1.2

✓ New browser is awfulBrowser can no longer do Google Image URL search (or find original image). It's the main reason I use the app. It now switches to Google App when you click the icon to bring up the URL window. I can't find any browser settings to fix this. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 *Addition* And you can’t request desktop site to overcome this issue! AND double clicking the address bar highlights the entire URL and doesn’t let you switch back to insert!.Version: 7.0.8

✓ Not happySo I had the app for awhile. I then upgraded everything transferred over to the upgrade, and then it wouldn’t open. so I repurchased it, and lost everything!! Tried to get it all back but couldn’t. ✓ Lost EverythingThis app actually makes me want to commit suicide. I kept over 4,000 photos of my girlfriend across 3 years on this application (for privacy reasons as others have access to my icloud photos). My phone was stolen and wiped and I lost everything. I’m actually so broken now. I had icloud backup turned on but pocket files doesn’t create any backup whatsoever. Lost priceless memories that I won’t ever be able to get back for the rest of my life … would not use this app ever again..Version: 6.5
✓ Great functionality, worst efficiency ever.Do not waste your money in this piece of fece, paid the five dollars for unlimited imports only to later realize that all you import to the app is also stored in the phone so you don't really get to free up space unless you directly transfer the files from the app to the PC. Would only recommend for password protected folders but do not expect to free up space on your phone...other thing is the touch dynamics of the app are cringe, you need to touch the screen with almost extreme delicacy for not choosing any unwanted files it is so frustrating to say the least...OVERALL not even worthy of two stars, sorry not sorry, need to upgrade their game if they want it to be worth five dollars. ✓ Best of the WorstAfter looking for an app that’d let me keep a separate collection of files away from my normal Files app this is without question the best option available ... BUT for an app that promotes itself on security and browsing features it lacks in both. While it frames the app as being a secure place to store files privately through PIN numbers and separate vaults... - The app doesn’t use encryption at all when storing files, they are just stored in the same way every other app keeps files. If someone has physical access to your device and can sign into it, your files can be compromised easily if the person has the right tools. - Transferring files through the web browser uses HTTP instead of HTTPS which is insane. - There’s no mention of how secure WiFi transfer is, so i’m assuming that anyone connected to the network would have the ability to see what data is being transferred if they have the right tools. Decoy vaults and picture capture of an “intruder” is security theatre, the app needs to get these things right if it wishes to promote itself as secure or at the very least be honest about the extent to which it can keep users secure. —- And for an app that promotes browsing and media functions it has a lot of weird gaps: - Not a lot of options for browsing and interacting with photos, and double-tap zoom in doesn’t behave reliably. On some images it zooms in a lot, on others it doesn’t. Seems like it’s defendant on the resolution rather than the format of the image but it would be great to have more options here. - A bunch of media types like PDFs on an iPad will display as a half-width previews rather than full-screen previews which is a frustrating oversight - Sending folders through a web browser does not preserve the file structure, so if you were hoping to send a folder quickly think again. —- With the recent 50% price hike this app can no longer be recommended, not when its lacking in its own features..Version: 6.0.4
✓ Great working app, butThe app works well. Very usable and functional. The problem is you have to teach yourself to use it. There is no FAQ and no videos on Utube to help. It took a couple of days and lots of trial, error and start overs for me to get it organized how I like. And trying to sync it across devices isn’t really possible. Each device has to be updated manually. I have found using iCloud works best. Also customer support is nonexistent. I sent an email more than a week ago and still no response, not even a confirmation email in return. SMH.Version: 5.4.4

✓ Don’t use this app - Unable to unlock folderThis app looks good - I haven’t yet upgraded, thankfully - but it seems to have an central problem in that it loses the password to folders. I wrote the p/w down but when i enter it it isn’t recognised. I have twice asked it to send me the p/w (to my email) but no response. That ‘safety’ feature does mean that the p/w’s are held on some sever somewhere!! Also this folder is bookmarks; it is locked but when I use the built-in web browser it can open the bookmarks without asking for a password - really defeats the whole idea..Version: 6.3.1

✓ I *used to* love this app.In the past I sang praises of this app to my friends because of it’s functionality. Now I will issue “stay away” signs, because the author, while talented, caved and made this a subscription app, when, personally, I feel it would have sold better at a one time price. The current one time price is also WAY too high. There are features that have been suggested to the author that would bring it closer to being justified, but they haven’t been added yet, or the author just doesn’t care, and wants those people who’ve already downloaded the app and use it to ‘bite the bullet’ and agree to pay monthly. Time to look for another folder app, since there are hundreds in the App Store..Version: 5.8.2

✓ Garbage. Can’t copy files from iTunes!This app looked great, and I was considering subscribing. But I couldn’t even test it. Spent a ton of time copying files from my computer through iTunes, only to find that I can’t even see view them? Seriously? ✓ Nearly PerfectPlease add an option to customize the zoom level when double tapping a photo. My iPhone zooms fine but on my iPad photos hardly zoom in at all. Another app (Private Photo Vault) doesn’t have this issue as both iPads and iPhones can zoom in very close. I know it can’t be a resolution problem on my iPad if another app can do it. ✓ Exactly what I need, BUT...After running the app once, and then either locking my device, suspending the app, or fully closing it, it softlocks my device until either I forcibly shut it off, or the device crashes and restarts itself. It's kind of unreasonable to expect someone to restart their device every single time they want to use the app. I tried playing with every setting, removing special characters from filenames and within the files themselves, deleting empty files, deleting files that haven't been used in a long time, and even recreating every single file from the ground up, and it STILL crashes after one use..Version: 6.3.1

✓ Good for on-device files onlyThis is a really nice app and works as advertised on the device. But while it claims to “support” cloud services such as dropbox, icloud, onedrive, and while it can indeed place folders or files into a location in these clouds, it won’t encrypt or password protect the data stored in the cloud. So if the idea is to have encrypted/password protected vaults live in the cloud and be accessible via the app only, this app won’t do it. It would be nice if that was stated up-front in the description. It would be even nicer if the developer would add this feature..Version: 6.2

✓ Pricey Data CollectorsThis company tracks and collects data from its users and charges a hefty price for it too. I don’t care how long this app has been in development, if there is a paywall don’t collect personal data! Their privacy policies are clear and readable (I will give them that), but the fact they collect data from a “Privacy app” which isn’t free is absurd. You almost had my money and it seemed to be too good to be true, but that’s a hard no for me, dawg..Version: 6.3.1
