✓ Tasty on the outside, but rotten at the core.This really is a very pretty, cleverly designed & generally well thought out game. The fruit characters are bright & appealing & the fruit combos are inventive. The animation is slick &, with the chilled out music, creates an easy going atmosphere. But just as you're getting into the flow of the game, just as you're falling under its spell, it demands money (not "in-game" currency, but actual money) to continue playing. & then there are the timers which stop you from playing any further. I genuinely feel sorry for the developers who have designed a thoroughly likeable & enjoyable game only to see it spoilt by the rotten apples who decided to deploy timers & demands for money. ✓ Addictive but not worth the in app purchasesThis game is very addictive. I was suckered into buying 15gold bars for £1.49 .. Only to discover it takes 8 gold bars to proceed. Then when I get to the next bit, I am one gold bar short!! I will not be paying near enough £3 to get through around 15 or so levels!!! What a complete con. Such a shame because it is fun. They have the option to ask friends to help you unlock, but I can't stand getting game invites myself.. So won't be bothering with that! Candy Crush has the option to complete 3 tasks to open the next set of levels.. Why do you incorporate that scheme into the game?? ✓ Progress deleted, game won’t loadThe latest update in late Feb. 2024 deleted all my progress. I was on level 835 (and stuck there over a year due to the insane difficulty level, but that’s another story). The update took me back to level 1. Not good! ✓ BrokenUsed to be my favorite game but the last 2 updates introduced ridiculous bugs - connecting a rainbow bomb to a round bomb just makes both disappear, and when you have more than 2 rainbow bombs on the screen, connecting them just makes them disappear. Essentially you're reduced to only using rainbow bombs with striped bombs and have a round bomb next to a rainbow is a punishment. Now when the game isn’t letting me spin the wheel anymore because, according to the game, I have no connection when I do. Updating the app doesn’t make a difference either. ✓ Another game that wants money to get levels 😟Was good until I can't get past level 3 because you need fb friends to send stuff and nobody plays it. I got someone to play but they send me stuff and I never get it so what's the point??? And I'm not paying money to unlock every level. Disappointed cause I liked it up until then. This was advertised as "better than candy crush saga" It could be but definitely not the way it is now. If you think by doing this you're forcing people to pay money it ain't working. Don't u think its remarkably expensive to move up a set of levels?? 8 gold blocks, of which your given only 8????! (or £1.69!!) U can't earn then in the game currently. Shame. If you ask another person to log onto the game, even when they really dont want the game,,,they can only give one map piece! So very ANNOYING! Please can u sort so gold bars can be earned for every 3⭐ earned?! (And payback too for those that have already blotto the map with them!!!!) ADDITION.... ✓ Charges me for buying gold bars but never gives it to meI love this game and would've given 5 stars if it weren't for taking my money and not giving the gold bars I paid for. After three years I decided to buy gold bars to help me get through one of the tougher levels. ✓ Don't bother !!!I am deleting this app too !!! Was great to start with, but because I have Facebook on my ipad, I can not get past the first stage !!! Only one other friend plays, so I can't get two other different people to unlock & I refuse to pay to play these games that get so hard i decided its not worth bothering. My husband who does not have Facebook can get through each stage by going on each day for 3 days & unlocking to the next level. i tried deleting it & reinstalling but didnt connect it to Facebook but still I don't get the option to unlock the next level.Version: 1.18.05

✓ Fun butIt's a fun game I think you should get it but when you keep playing you find out they just want your money. Even if you buy only the $1.99 one it will only get you too a few levels and at the end you will just end up spending a lot of money, so I'm saving you if you want to get it and you read this DON'T because it's very addictive and when you get to the bit that you have to pay (if your young) don't go to your parents and make them do it (if your older than that) don't bother with it I'm really trying to save you. ✓ Used to love this game. Deleting.Was hooked on this game for a long time. Some levels can take weeks to solve. I'm stuck at 182 and I can't get past. Sorry, I play games like this to relax, not get frustrated. I made pretty good progress but hit a point where I simply can't clear this level. ✓ Loved this game for over 10 years, now deletingI was happy to see this game updated a couple months ago, even if I did have to start over at level one. The update two years ago was welcome as I had completed all the levels. However it wouldn’t let me purchase anything not spin the wheel. Still I was on level 820 something. It often took months to get through a level without any of the special things. And then a couple months ago there was an update and the wheel worked and despite having to start over I was back in the 500s. And then a new update that I shouldn’t have done. I don’t mind the little ad at the bottom of the screen. I don’t even mind watching an ad now and then before a level. What I do mind is a video popping up in the middle of playing a level - esp. a timed level! And then after closing the ad it pops up again a couple seconds later. Naw…. Despite loving this game and being so happy that I could play it again, it’s deleted. I first started playing over 10 years ago and would be so happy when new levels were added. But the random videos in the middle of playing a level is a deal breaker for me. So sadly, goodbye Juice Cubes. Moving on to a more productive use of my time..Version: 1.84.06
✓ Money scheming gameI wanted to give this game a second chance, but I see why I stopped playing it. Looks can be deceiving, even with cute characters. When the game got difficult, they offer to buy gold through money, for this power move, or for the next level. NOT GONNA FALL FOR IT. This is why Candy Crush does so much better they don’t constantly throw offers at you. Just make the levels a bit easier for players to pass instead of offers. “Berry-annoying.”.Version: 1.84.00

✓ Captain Greedy Rides Again!As is the norm, the game developers want you to spend more and more money in order to progress further. The longer you play the more obvious this becomes. In addition it assumes you have a Facebook account to gain extras. If you are the kind of dimwit who spends money on these games or if you have had your brain removed and joined Facebook, then this will suit you. ✓ Good game but...Fun game but... the 'waiting time' is just plain annoying. Basically, you can play for free for about 10mins and then it insists that you 'wait' for 20 or 30mins before being allowed to resume. Of course, you can pay to skip the waiting but in reality, you just move to another game that is also 'free' and don't go back. I don't play this game nearly as much as I would. Surely there must be other ways of creating revenue that doesn't annoy your customer base!!.Version: 1.56.01
