✓ Bland and unimaginativeI really didn't enjoy the handful of levels I played of this game. Controls are terribly clunky and unmanageable. You have essentially d-pad controls but have to move your avatar diagonally, which resulted in me mostly being unable to get the green monster to position itself where I needed it. This is unacceptable in a real-time puzzle game. I also felt the game realy didn't have anything going for it in terms of design. A guy walks in straight lines and turns right when he hits a wall. Meanwhile, you quickly try to drop giant green apples in front of him to get hit to turn where you want... Very bland. I'm sure the later parts of the game will add a few more minor mechanics, but I don't think the game will be worth finishing for me..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Great potential! Need to make controls “Tap-To-Walk.”I think this game has great potential; however, like it has been said already, the controls need fixing before this game is truly enjoyable. I think this game would be perfectly suited for a “tap to walk” interface. Adding such should be a fairly straightforward process. When a player taps on the screen the game places a temporary marker and the character follows a move-to-marker-while-avoiding-objects instruction. Right now the game is somewhat playable but with an intuitive control scheme, it could be quite enjoyable as well!.Version: 1.1.3

✓ Great game marred by poor controlsThis is one of the more original and absorbing games in recent memory. However many a times I am frustrated by the poor controls. Navigating Subob can be a pain when he starts picking up the apple when I want to move him elsewhere, or placing the apple in one place when I wanted it somewhere else! It's one of the key reasons why I would sometimes just stop playing because the game becomes headache-inducing one where Subob chases after Bob with an apple. Can't you guys just employ a point-and-click mechanism to move Subob, and double-click to place the apple?.Version: 1.1.0
✓ Put Me Back To a Bed...I took a chance and bought this before reading any reviews. Now I'm regretting that decision. You move some strange looking animal around the screen called Subob, picking up giant apples and trying to place them in front of Bob to divert his sleepwalking path and keep him from walking off the edge of the platform he's on. If all goes well, you'll eventually guide him back to bed. This may be appealing to some, but it was just boring to me. I feel like it's overpriced. I've bought better games for just $0.99. I actually had more fun letting Bob walk off the platform and fall to his death. FYI, Bob never really dies. He just starts off right where he began all over again. Having changed the controls, they're still awful. Its begging for a diagonally-orientated control pad that stays still and is visible at all times on the left along with 'pick up' and 'put down' apple buttons on the right. It's so obvious didn't anyone even suggest it? The regular updownleftright control doesn't work because the action is diagonal so where you're going isn't intuitive, and touch doesn't work either, especially because if you want to go up and right it either fast-forwards the game and you speed your man to his death or you pause the game repeatedly. ✓ Bad Interface, Very Bad InterfaceI gave this game 2 stars to encourage the author(s) to try harder. I wouldn't want them to be as frustrated as the poor souls who download this game. The game has an intriguing gameplay mechanism, but the interface is just too clumsy to use. First off, your fingers cover too much of the screen. If you use the option directional control, you can see better, but the rest of the troubles persist or get worse. Second, it's far too easy to overshoot the square you're trying to reach. Third, it's too difficult to negotiate tight spaces because of these first two difficulties. Fourth, there is no way to sweep over the gamespace unless the game is running, so planning is much more difficult than it should be. Fifth, sixth, etc. need I say more? Any game whose I/F problems get to 4 this quickly needs to go back to the drawing board. I played 5 levels, which is not much to base a review on, but I couldn't stand to play any more. Those levels would be trivial if the interface were not so bad. So the only challenge is to not get so frustrated that you delete the game. In my book, that does not translate to fun. My advice: fix the I/F and then work on interesting levels. BTW, do the editors at the App Store put more than a moment's thought into choosing their featured games? ✓ Good game, Bad controlsThis game is beautiful to look at, the art style is amazing, the concept is fantastic and the intended gameplay is really good and intuitive. The only problems with the game are the awful control scheme. During the later game you have to pick an apple up to drop it so bob turns then quickly pick the apple back up and move it into his new path to guide him to bed, sounds simple which it is but when your practically smashing your finger on your screen to try pick this apple up but the control pad just appears or the screen zooms in this becomes really frustrating! I have turned this game off in a rage so many times its unreal! I cant give a higher rating than 2 stars because of the controls! Glad i didn't have to pay for it otherwise i would be demanding a refund! If you come across this game when it isn't free DO NOT BUY IT! Purchased because the art looks amazing and the idea sounded great but immediately into playing the first level the frame rate is appalling (laggy), probably around 10fps and the controls are clumsy and unusable. ✓ BrokenThe game has beautiful artwork, the music is decent, and the concept great. It could be a really nice contrast between the relaxing, peaceful visuals and audio, and challenging gameplay, however. It isn't. The challenge should come from the level design, and while there are some alright puzzles so far (caveat, I'm 10 levels in), the controls are awful. The game shouldn't be 'fiddly'; the floor tiles and objects you click are pretty large compared to many items you have to tap playing on tablets. The challenge should come from the level design and not the utter frustration and despair repeatedly tapping blocks as you can't place down/pick up an item (apple). It's clumsy and super disappointing. I don't agree that it's part of the fun, it's not super meat boy or a metroidvania where the controls are part of the games design. A cool new game!!",and so I got it. 2 days later, (WHEN IT FINALLY FINISHED LOADING!!!)I got on it. So,first of all,it took FOREVER to get to the play screen,so I was stuck sitting there staring at some eyeball that said "back to bed" on it. Then,when it did,I hit "play". So,natruly,it brings me to settings (because "play DEFINETLY means setting,because why not???)!! So I got out of the game,shut my phone off,then turned it back on. Only to find that the app wasn't there anymore. So I went and got it again,waited 3 and a half hours,and it FINALLY finished loading. AGAIN. And I got back on. When I got back on,everything was fine until I hit level one. Then it tried to Show me this REALY long and wierd introduction. I tried to go and skip it, and when I did, I waited for a LONG LONG time before the game crashed,and took me to my home screen. This happend 3 times before I finally gave up and deleted the app. Above all that,the game has REALY scary scenes to it,and makes me feel like I'm being watched. So if I were you, I wouldn't wast 2 days,8 hours(about),and 45 minutes(also about.). I would give this game zero stars if I could. I bring the dog next to it and I keep touching the apple over and over, then I touch the dog, then I touch the ground where he is standing, then I touch screen around, and most of the time nothing happens. On the occasion that it does, the guy passed me by already. Too frustrating to bother with. Also, the elongated screen images show as if the game was optimized for the iPhone X. It is not. ✓ Cool style, terrible performanceThis port definitely feels under-baked. Frame rate is very low and this is on an iPad Air, shouldn't really be getting any performance issues on the fastest current ipad. That combined with some clunky controls feels like playing a CD-ROM PC game in '95 on my pentium 90. ✓ MrA game with great potential, interesting design and good concept, which is completely ruined by the control scheme. I tried both schemes offered, and they equally suffered from a lack of precision that made completing the tasks frustrating. ✓ Read thisThe attempt is there. This should be a great game. And it's free for the moment--awesome. Sadly, as much as I want to give a good rating, I can't. The controls are simply woeful. In the first 30 seconds you realize your task is to pick up giant apples and place them in front of the character so as to guide his mindless sleepwalking body to safety. But it takes only 20 seconds to realize you don't move where you want to as fast as you want, and apples stay where there lay until you're just about ready to put your finger through the glass. ✓ Looks good...Love the graphic style of it, looks good, don't even mind the peculiar voiceover, just not really into the gameplay. Just not enjoyable to play. ✓ Annoying but Easily FixableMovement is tricky and annoying, and the sounds will drive you crazy! Unlike some other games it is hard to move the dog where you want him to go. It's like trying to steer an airplane instead of a car. The dog keeps veering off in the wrong direction. The need for speed can be a fun challenge, but hurrying while steering like a drunkard is not fun. (I have played on an iPad and Apple TV, which is worse.) If that wasn't bad enough imagine being entertained by snoring, and falling screams! The puzzles are fun, and the surreal landscape is entertaining, so hey! ✓ Such a pityThe illustrations for this game are absolutely BEAUTIFUL, seriously, some of the best I've seen. It's such a shame the gameplay was so limited and in reality, boring. I'm sorry to say that as it looked as though it had such promise. To my mind the figure you control moves far too slowly and there are not enough squares.
