✓ If i could leave -100 stars i would!This is the WORST editing app for iphone. it won’t let you put any video sticker on it. 😑 i couldn’t be more disappointed. the creator of this app was probably so dumb. 😤 it may be good for ipad or any other device but for iphone it doesn’t work! if i had a app i would make it useful for everyone. not just ipad users. i have so much to say about this app that’s negative it’s not even funny. this app needs to be taken off the app store and it should not be able to download until it can satisfy all users. EVERY SINGLE TIME i tried to add a video sticker it said unsupported video format. again why would it not be useable for all device users. this is so dumb. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. no good things to say about this app. i could do the same things this app can do but the others actually work. no one should download this. if the owner of this app sees this i would like to tell him that he needs to update the app to make it that all users can use his app. i cannot stress my opinion enough!.Version: 2.8

✓ DissapointedThe app for editing is great, however the one problem I have with it is the “Downloading Assets” halfway through editing a school project the app crashed, and when I re-loaded I was greeted with a pop up saying that it was downloading assets. I closed everything else and left my phone on the app for about 2 hours. When I get back the app is halfway. Then it finishes, then crashes and restarts and repeated this many, many times. So now I have no project and am in trouble due to this atrocious app. Fix this at once, or delete the app from the App Store!.Version: 2.701

✓ Disappointing 🤦🏻♀️I was editing my video perfectly fine, some problems here and there with the texts and stickers and having a hard time being able to edit/move them again. They save while I’m trying to move them as well which is annoying. But while I was editing it came in good use to use the text bubble options. Those didn’t work so I used another one which was fine at first. Then later on I tried to put a sticker on, and it froze and said loading. I waited a while first, nothing happened. I then force closed the app and when I went back on it all the work I did was all over the place! The sticker that caused it to freeze had sound and was supposed to go at the end of the whole video (I was almost finished.) But when I opened the app again, the sound only was at the beginning and the texts I had on it were messed up. Some parts of it were missing as well. There was no way to fix it either because of how it saves. So I had to delete the whole thing. The app also makes my videos change color and become more dull and less clear. This app would be so much better if these problems were resolved and if it was easier to use..Version: 2.8

✓ You would think they have fixed this by nowThe "social" part of this is nice and all, but please make that into a separate app. I'm almost 100% sure that the crashing comes from the luge amount of videos. I bought this app not for the social aspect though, but for the editing aspect. I would recommend iMovie, because it's faster, but this has the green screen affect... And free! It looked great until I pressed any button on the editing screen, stickers, crash. Add a video, crash. And I've seen other reviews like this, so it's not only me. You would think they would have tested this and make sure everything is ready, but, it crashes. I would not recommend this, for the social part, use social media. Editing, iMovie. ✓ What happened to the old style?I was in so much shock when I opened the app, everything changed and I was in disbelief. There was no tutorial of the new features (well, there’s less now.) You couldn’t even put a text nor I couldn’t find the green screen button, stickers, ect. It was also hard to see since it was so zoomed in. I also miss the feature where you can change the width and the height of the box. I tried editing a video in it and it kept glitching when I played the video and also changed the color for absolutely no reason when I pressed nothing. I used to use this app when I was young and I loved it since there was so much features in it to edit. Sometimes when I play the video it makes the video really fast and short, which I think it’s a glitch. Even when I try to download the video it kicks me out of the app. Needless to say, I really miss the old one and would hope it would come back....Version: 2.8.3

✓ Loading........Whenever I go on the app, it says loading assets, be patient, it may take a while, and it will only happen once, but it is happening every time! So, in short, I have to wait ten minutes before I am able to make a video, and sometimes it doesn’t even fully load. Like for example, it loads three quarters of the way then stops loading completely and I have to swipe the tab away, reopen it and try again, but sometimes that doesn’t even work. At this point, I am feeling frustrated because now it just won’t load and I am considering deleting the app because, unless it decides to load, I can’t make a video and it’s completely useless, just an icon on my screen taking up data and storage space. ✓ Good but many issues and problemsThis is overall a good app for editing and I find the green screen tool really helpful. Although, whenever you add even 1 green screen onto a video it will brighten up the video like 3 levels and it’ll just have this white bright tone on it where you can’t see anything. I find this to be a big inconvenience. Also, the new big I witnessed was the load menu that says “Downloading Assets...” this does not go away as stated. I’ve waited for it to load many times, while it only says it’ll happen once. It keeps coming back every time I open the app. Most times it’ll just not move at all and crash my app which I find to be really annoying. ✓ It’s a great format but needs a LOT of workI need this app because it has so many great tools, like multiple different fonts for titles and it lets you choose different frame sizes, ( square, landscape, portrait). everything else needs some improvement. it’s consistently glitching and kicking me off the app. most the time it doesn’t even save the entire audio from my video, leaving the last half of the video muted. i have a lot of patience but i can only re-edit a piece so many times because of this. and that’s why i use iMovie to edit most of the video and only use PocketVideo for titles. if more work was put into this app and if all the bugs were ironed out, it would easy be better than iMovie because it’s so simple and easy to comprehend..Version: 2.8

✓ PLEASE FIX THE BUGS!!!!😭This app's features and effects are AMAZINGLY good but I just can't use them in this new update for a couple of reasons. The first one is that when I open the app all it shows me is the same "downloading assets" thingy. And the first couple of times it came up it would finish loading and I could start working on my videos. But then it started coming up literally EVERY TIME I OPENED THE APP even though it said on the little icon "This will only happen once". Plus now it won't even load that thing anyways. ✓ It used to be goodI loved to use this app for editing, but when I went to edit with it today I found that it had completely changed and I could not longer do anything further than adding music and filters. What happened?! ✓ Amazing! Except....I used to use this app to use green screens and it always worked perfectly and made my videos look amazing! I loved all the features and I was so happy to know it was free. It wasn’t my first editor as I used another editor and this one. One day, I decided to fully edit with it since my other editor crashed and I was pretty annoyed. I inserted all the clips but when I wanted to add text for a short period of time it did it for the whole video so I couldn’t even add any text. I was exporting my video and left it for a while about 2 hours. And when I returned it didn’t even work at all! I did it again and waited but stayed there and it didn’t work once again and just kept on crashing. I was so disappointed as I really loved the app and I returned to my number 1 editor cute cut. I did delete the app and re-installed it but it wouldn’t even install again which was a huge shame. ✓ It’s okay, I have request.The app was good, I used to be able to edit just fine, and I used it not too often, but a lot of the time when I did find myself editing. Anyway, around a month ago, even thought when it would load and TAKE FOREVER, it said it would only happen once. Unfortunately, some instances when I am attempting to open up the app, it would just plain go and crash on me, when I am editing my videos, the app would crash multiple times, it also glitches and lags lot. I do believe I might have over estimated this app just a tiny bit, because I thought this app was going to be my main editing source and I could finally ditch iMovie ;_; But apart from everything else, when I actually am able to use the app, it's really great! But I can give you some suggestions Suggestions: I needed a green screen app so I don’t have to use video star for a bad green screen. It’s a video and I needed a good quality green screen unlike video star. So I suggest you could make a green screen background and yeah! It would totally add up 1/2 a star to be a five star! Problem: When I was done saving my video, I forgot to put something on it and look what I see: FONT TURNED NORMAL. I mean, I didn’t put that font up but it turned normal for some reason! ✓ It’s ok but needs improvingPocket Video is a good app and it’s fun to edit my videos with. I would rate it 5 stars but it has two problems which need to be improved. 1. Only being able to add 6 videos at a time. I like to make montages with my videos and I have a lot of videos to compile. Only being able to put in up to 6 videos at a time is quite frustrating as I have to keep going back and adding them.. 2. Not letting me watch my video So I don’t know if this is just on my phone but when I’m in the middle of editing a video, the app just goes off (which happens with all apps on iPhones) and I then click back on my video on Pocket Video and it doesn’t let me watch it! This is the MOST frustrating thing ever! 1. I need to continue editing 2. I can’t watch it to see if I’m satisfied with it! ✓ Three problemsOk, so I think this app is really cool about the green screen stuff. My editing actually looks decent. BUT I have a few things that are about to make me lose my mind! 1.if u insert a photo/video it fricken gets lighter and if I have light words on the pic/vid it’s legit not there anymore! ✓ The crippling fate of pocketvideoHonestly, despite the flaws that the older version of pocketvideo had, it was still completely usable. it had many features that other free apps didn’t have, and it was always fun to work with. things like greenscreen compatibility and whatnot made the app fun to use. When i opened the app again, however, i was definitely confused about what has changed. looking for the features i fell in love with, i realized how much content was removed in the app. the app itself has dumbed down into an obsolete video editing software that only supports video filters. it almost feels like a completely different app, which is most definitely worse. i don’t know why the previous features were removed, but it was probably one of the worst things to ever happen to this app. once a unique and resourceful video editing software, now a retarded one trick pony. how sad..Version: 2.8.9

✓ Was once goodI was just using this app last week thinking that it was fantastic and there was nothing like this on the App Store, but then the new update came. I was just about to add text to my video when I realized I couldn’t. I can’t even edit at all with my iPad horizontally, it has to be vertical. And all I can do now is add music, and a bunch of different filters. This has just changed the app from one of the best editors on the App Store to one of the worst. This will no longer ever be useful to me in any way at all. It’s kind of sad considering all the time I have used pocket video, whether it was for school projects, or just making videos for fun. Now I was in utter shock when I saw what it had become. Nothing needed to change, no new interface was necessary, and I can assure you taking out all of the features was not necessary. Now I have no good way of editing videos, which is really sad because I had just gotten back to making videos. This has changed the app to quite possibly one of the worst apps on the App Store, and I would love if it were to change back to its original state, or at least gave us the option for us to go back to it. ✓ Great app but...I loved this app while I was editing. It had overlays, royalty free music, and everything an aspiring youtuber could ever look for in an editing app! But there are soooo many bugs and issues on this app that need to be addressed and I suggest they get working on them ASAP. For one, as I saw in many other reviews; the audio is super unreliable! My video's audio will be perfectly audible while editing. But, as soon as I go to upload and save the video the audio will not work once it's in my camera roll or on my profile! This app is GREAT for the music for that- if you don’t have music downloaded on your phone, just use iTunes preview. ✓ Where Did the stickers go?This app overall is a great alternative if you can't edit videos on your computer. The quality is wonderful and it's easy to use. When you select a clip, it gives you a set of things to use in the clip. Other videos, customizable text, filters, etc. One of the options to chose from is stickers, which used to have things such as emojis, cartoon characters, and most the desired one of all, social media icons. There was a ton of others to choose from, and it was very convenient to use. But now, all the options have completely disappeared for me. As I decided to explore the app one day, I went into Gify to see what they had to use. Now, I can't get out of it, I've restarted the app and my phone and it's still there. ✓ Its ok, but could be better by addressing some flaws.I appreciate the things you can do with this app. But it has some big flaws. For example, when you insert a sticker, it applies it for the whole timeline. This introduces a problem. Basically, you have to scroll to the end of the timeline, then you have to try and drag the end to trim it, but that again introduces yet another problem. The app has a difficult time understanding you want to trim the layer and instead tries to move the layer left. This is probably because the layers panel is very small on the screen and doesn’t register your finger attempts properly. A temporary fix would be to address the sticker issue by allowing people to trim the sticker in the timeline. This way you can delete the second half that’s stretching towards the end of the timeline and you don’t have to try and trim it. One last thing would be to fix the problem when you remove a clip, the other layers go out of sync. Dev team should figure out how to keep the other layers in sync..Version: 3.6.3

I can create a new project, but the second I stop working on it and try to re-Open the file the app crashes all over again. Please please please fix these issues! ✓ Don’t waste your timeWould not recommend this app. Don’t bother downloading it. It opens and says “we’ve rebuilt this from the ground up” and you can edit a video with minimal options, but it won’t let you export the video. It says not to close or background the app bust crashes halfway through the export. Downloaded and deleted in an hour..Version: 3.3.1

✓ UpsettingI’ve been working hard on a video edit for a few weeks now and yesterday, when I went on the app to finish it, the app had completely changed and I could no longer find my unsaved work in progress. I am so disappointed as I will now have to start all over again after hours of effort and I’m just hoping that the old version will come back, my problems will be fixed and I will have my video back but I highly doubt that. ✓ Great app but...When I found this app, I was so happy. It has everything I need and more! However, when I imported a video in today, it added a filter on it which made the video extremely light. When I went to the change the filter, it says that it is ‘original’ even though it looks completely different in my camera roll. I hope this is fixed soon as it is very annoying!.Version: 2.8
✓ Downloading Assets?This is app is really good and amazong for editing vlogs but every time i go on the app it say Downloading Assets? It say it’ll only happen once but everytime. Once i tried to waot it out and it took 40 mins for it to finish..Version: 2.8
✓ New Update made it hardly functionalEver since that update the controls seem to have completely changed and I can’t select 2 videos to edit together anymore. Can you please either bring back the functions before this update or link me a tutorial on how to use this app again? ✓ Downloading assests... TAKING FOREVER, NOT FOR A WHILE :')This app used to be soo good, but what happen with this “downloading assets” thingy? It takes forever and it’s annoying. Btw, please bring back the default stickers, I actually really love the new system where users can browse stickers for themselves.
