✓ NotimpressedFirst flight the app worked great (iPhone 5) 2nd time out and I kept getting wifi dropouts, 3rd time no wifi connection. When I went home I tried loads of times to connect the wifi with no luck, I then started getting a wifi connection but when I opened the app I got a connection error message. No video on my phone and no camera connection/control. I thought it was a problem with my PV until a friend downloaded the app onto his Samsung phone and it worked perfectly. ✓ Useless updateI updated it the day i got my p2v fixed and lost all live feed. Dji said its not conpatible with ios10 or iphone 7. Understanding the situation used a iphone 4s which dji recommended and still no fpv. They want to charge me $160 to fix the issue they caused. ✓ Would not buy DJI again based on this catastrophic support issueI could not understand why my perfectly fine Phantom 2 V+ stopped working and could not show a live video stream. I though I did something to it. Not only did i lose the live video stream, my P2 behaves erratic and the app triggers a battery low alarm right away on a new battery causing the drone to drop. Again, I thought this was hardware. Then I started flying it without the app. Outside of the live feed, it flies just fine now. ✓ App is ok, PC software assistant is very buggyApp works for most functions and the wifi video streaming is very good. Icons are tiny and very hard to see warnings or status indicators - should be more prominent and use entire right side bar, not just top corner. Ground control map loading is buggy and switching from home wifi to phantom wifi is laborious. Settings and calibration is not great and many functions missing from the app - meaning you have to use the PC software assistant - which is very unstable and hangs on startup on my macbook air..Version: 1.0.43

✓ To all who are having trouble with the updateI was having trouble with this last version of the vision app also, but slept on it and didn't panic. To get the phantom running with the last app( if you can't go back to a restore point), just update the phantoms drivers. My issue was running incorrect/ outdated drivers on the phantom. Now the app is functional and not laggy. So again check all drivers for firmware updates and you should be functional again..Version: 1.0.60

✓ Don't Download App-CRASHESI know you are to keep up to date with all the apps especially when it geared to this $1000.00 plus quad. You would think that it would be checked a number of times even beta test before they put it out. I have the same problem as everyone else has. Moving the gamble, or manually moving the camera causes it to crash. This is something you really want when your flying! There's enough crashes with this without this problem. ✓ Not working!The DJI Phantom 2 Vision itself is a very cool copter, and i purchased it so that I could make sue of the HD camera recording abilities. However so far I’ve had zero luck getting the app to work with the camera. I can bind the app to the Phantom and I even get the little green light to say that I’ve successfully connected, but whenever I go to the Camera section all i get is the error message “Connect to Phantom 2 Vision Failed” I’ve reset the wifi extender numerous times now, re-binded the app over and over but still no joy. All the firmware for the Phantom is running latest. I’ve also contacted both the distributor and DJI directly and so far I can’t say I’m impressed with their customer support. ✓ Crashes constantlyAfter the PROMISED "end of December" update for RAW conversion I am completely disappointed and feel utterly let down. It constantly crashes upon pressing the icon and the one time I did get into the app all of the options were out of place. This equipment which cost over £900 is now completely useless to me and everyone else who has put their faith into DJI. I use this equipment for my work. It was bad enough that DJI advertised that the phantom 2 vision could shoot in RAW on all of the advertising. Up until now I am yet (and so too are my clients) to see a single decent image taken via the camera on the vision. You have created a great product with the vision however, you need to back up your quotes and promises. No more lies DJI, it is unfair to everyone who has paid over the odds for a product that doesn't do what it says on the tin. This needs to be sorted as a matter of priority. It flies fine and I have full control except that I can no longer take pictures or stream video. It loses it’s connection in just a few seconds even when it’s only a few away. ✓ DJI Phantom 2 products are not suitable for New Zealand or eastern AustraliaThe Phantom 2 products have a severe limitation in NZ or anywhere which has a large (>8 degrees) magnetic declination. ✓ Greed will always superceed qualityHow the hell do you stop supporting a product that is $1,300 after just 2/3 years of its launch ? This seems to be another corporate greed scheme to force hobbyists into purchasing the latest model and discard the older ones. Seems like a $1,300 commitment to DJI every two or three years. I personally am done with this. They rendered any phantom before version 3 useless. I'll take the satisfaction of running this thing over with my truck. Don't fall for it. ✓ Still unable to connect to camera!Since the June firmware update I have been unable to connect to my camera and I was hoping this emergency fix would solve the problem but no dice. I tried updating the app, reinstalling the app, re-binding, dancing in a circle while swinging a rubber chicken over my head and still no luck. ✓ Killed my Phantom 2 V+!!How can a company just decide to render a perfectly good and VERY expensive piece of technology unusable by killing the app that runs the live feed?? I spent a fortune on my PV2+. It's flawless. Never a crash. Then one day DJI killed the only app that runs the live feed. I also had spent a LOT on extra batteries, parts, spares, and a high powered wi fi extender that had my transmitter working incredibly. All that money down the drain. I don't WANT a new Phantom. I didn't need a new Phantom. My P2 was working fine. This is heartbreaking and I'm downright angry that DJI BROKE my Phantom. This should be illegal. If anyone knows a way around the live feed blackout, please let us know. That DJI has made me flush $1500, i will NEVER buy another one of their UAVs. I'll build my own from scratch next time.
