Good exercise, flawed trackingThe app itself does a fine job of presenting an exercise suite. Good verbal prompting and motion video of the exercise while you do it. Exercise routine can be set to different intensity levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Allows other apps to run audio at the same time. The odd part is that the progress tracking is incomplete. You have to login Lolo's account each time you start the app, only to find that progress in this app specifically has been lost. So, if you are doing day 4's routine, you will need to manually advance the app to day 4. This becomes old fast. If this feature is ever corrected, I'll update the rating to 5 stars..Version: 1.6.1

Awesome workout!!!!My husband and I workout together and today I decided to use this app. My husband is using the gazelle and I'm doing the 7 min workout and then we will switch devices. He's watching me while he's working out and telling me that I'm not going down on the squats, my arms are this way blah blah. BEST one out thereThee are now a ton of 7 min apps in the market. I should know, I have 8 of them on my iPhone and have tried them all. This to me is heads and shoulders above them all. You get a video of the instructor working along right as you go through your workout and the voice overs are excellent and to the point. The workouts allow you to pick out the equipment you want to use be it a step, barbell, chair, etc so you can really tailor the workout. You can also choose your fitness level from beginner to advanced. This app is a bargain and I use it most every day. Kudos to the developers!! Highly recommend it! A Good Foundation but...I’ve been looking for an app like this to workout on my own and find this a good start but there are a couple of features that would make it great: allow the user to set more than one repetition of the workout (I’d like to workout for more than 7 minutes); and allow the speakers to be used on the iPhone rather than having to use earplugs. Great AppI have a few of Lolo apps. Love them. No messing around trying to put something together. The app does it for you with 3 fitness levels and many options to include any gear you might have at home or the gym, or just body weight. You can upload your own playlists also. All exercises are clearly demonstrated also. I was looking for a simple app that gives me a lot without having to spend time on making up the work out myself. This fit me!!.Version: 2.0.2

Great app!I've tried all the 7min apps but what for me makes this one the best are the short video clips. I can follow along as if I were in a 7 min class. This isn't a critique on the program but a suggestion for users. Even though it estimates your calorie burn it is just that-an estimate, I have a watch with a heart rate monitor that calculates my calories based on my heart rate. I find that more reliable especially for calorie counting. I do like being told an estimate either way..Version: 1.6.1

Good home workoutIt's great to have a variety of exercises with the trainer giving tips and telling you when to start and stop. I like using the weights and other things I have at home like a stability ball. I wish I could save a workout. Sometimes I'll really enjoy a workout and want to do it again two or three more times in a row but if I go back to the day I was on it has a different workout. Great time saverAs a single mom of 2 that is trying to get her body back after pregnancy 8 weeks ago, this is a great way to get some exercise in. I'm truly starting again as a beginner since it's been so long, and the beginning setting still makes me swear and gets my heart rate/breathing up just as any workout should. I feel sore after just 10 minutes and I then try to bike for 10 minutes for some additional cardio/calorie burning. FantasticWhere do I start with this app? If your lazy or tired, 7 minutes is just the right amount of time to work out. (Or you can up the intensity and add a few seconds to each rep). I also love that it keeps count of the days. I know I've worked out consistently for over 2 weeks now. These workouts have me sweating without making me hate them, and the rotation of exercises and even the ability to swap exercises for others keeps me from getting bored. Good variety, some annoyancesI have been using this for three days. After using a more generic 7-minute workout app for awhile, I wanted some variety without having to pay a subscription. This program has lots of variation in the exercises, and three difficulty levels to choose from. Its a keeper for me. However I do have some things I wish were different: - you can sub out exercises you don't like from a list. But the options given seem to be all at the same difficulty level, which is frustrating if the reason you are subbing out is because something is too hard (for example I can't do push-ups but it didn't offer a knee-pushup option unless I had 'beginner' chosen in my settings). -the delay is actually 15 seconds between exercises instead of the prescribed 10, once you add in the voice commentary. If you reduce the time in the settings, to 5, this is solved. -I wish you could see the video of the next exercise DURING the 10-second pause so you could prepare, but instead it only starts on time, which leads to delay if you are unfamiliar with the exercise. (You can however do previews before starting your workout). -I wish the video would repeat more times for those of us that are slow learners! -there are some audio reminders, eg back straight' but only on some exercises--I wish there were alot more. I giving this four stars and will hope that in future some things will improve with a few simple fixes..Version: 2.0.2

I don’t understand why other similar apps do better in top app charts - I guess it’s just marketing. Good exercises, with random variation to keep things interesting. Good videos. Wish there were more options for bad kneesI got this app about three or four months ago. At first I absolutely loved it. I love the variety that there is. I love that I can do pretty much anything for just 30 seconds and I feel like I'm getting a really great work out in just a short period of time. There are two things, however, that just do not work out for me very well. One is I have bad knees and with the workouts having two sets of lunges and there not being any alternate exercises other than lunges, I often find myself just having to skip out on those exercises. I don't understand why they can't have an alternate exercise for a lunge. The other thing that I wish that they had different is when you go to the more advanced exercises I wish that you could also look at some of the lower level exercises. The reason for this is that I feel like I am advanced in my arms but not so much in say my legs. So I wish there was more flexibility in that aspect and more ability to customize..Version: 1.6.1

Superb appI can't say enough good things about this app. It has a range of different workout intensities based off of the scientific 7 minute workout. Everybody has 7 minutes to spare and can find a workout that works for them with this app. The ability to switch out workout sections makes sure of it. The app will match music from your iTunes to the pace of the work out and give visual and audio cues/ support the whole time. I like this app a lotSmart interface, no glitches, like the music functions, good range of exercises with excellent video descriptions, maybe a little easy at intermediate but really pretty close to perfect for me.... Ok so a year later I am still using this and am undoubtably in better shape for it. I have now moved onto advanced. My only mini gripe is that around day 100 it starts introducing 1 minute (vs 30s) durations. Now I can easily fill 30s with exercises such as push ups but 1 min is a big increase and I just can't do it. 45s might have been a nicer transition. That aside I really like Lolo 7 min workout and it has never glitched. The others in the Lolo family are ok but have been less of a success..Version: 2.0.1

Simple, clear, effectiveThis is a great app for getting into a home or workplace routine instead of, or in addition to, a gym membership (especially if the gym is primarily for equipment). The workouts are clearly depicted in narrated videos and you can customize the series given to you for each workout. You can also indicated which equipment you do have, and the program will automatically cycle through relevant workouts. The music beat syncing in all of LoLo's apps is great. One drawback: unless you're able to keep your device open the whole time, it can be hard to follow along. Also, there's no native iPad support, but the design scales up fine..Version: 1.6.1

Almost perfectI love how you can choose from a small variety of similar exercise for each 30 second interval before starting your workout. iOS also great that you can customize your workout based on the equipment you have on hand (or feel comfortable using). There are also helpful videos of each exercise that you can watch before starting but, even better, they play as you are working out so that you can check your form as you go. I only have one issue with the app. Every time I restart the app it shows Day 1. I have to scroll to the proper day. The history still shows all of my past workouts but I always start back at Day 1. This seems like an easy-to-fix glitch and I hope that happens in the next update..Version: 1.6.1

What a way to start the day!I love the LOLO apps...lots of direction and instructions given (or at least quick videos of the exercise to show you how). 7 min first thing in the morning get my body moving and the adrenaline flowing - helps me get going for the day. Even on those dreary dark days we have in Canada's North are made better with a bit of exercise, not too much so as to wear you out before your day starts but enough to let you know you've already been working and doing something good for yourself. I like to follow up the 7 min with the LOLO Treadmill app, another 15 min - and I have a routine that works for me. When I want to push things a bit farther, I use the LOLO Boot Camp app. To get a healthier me - I can never stop starting if I want to age gracefully!.Version: 1.5.1
