✓ Mimpi my belovedMy dudes, this game was my childhood. Found this game one summer on an IPad at a summer camp and I quickly got addicted. :) My cousin and I have played through this game on calls SO many times, its really nostalgic now ! I have it on Steam on my pc too, I’ve been playing it a lot recently as the keyboard brings new challenges haha. The puzzles are really fun to solve, and not too hard. ✓ An absolute gem!There are many entertaining puzzle platform games on iOS, so it would be easy to dismiss Mimpi as just another well-polished game - until you actually play it. Unlike so many other games which have spawned since the likes of 'Angry Birds' and 'Cut the Rope' (3 stars for a level and you're done), Mimpi is a true platformer. The levels are quite long and have the good old reliable checkpoints we all know and love. But beneath it's cute exterior is a beautifully realised puzzle adventure. The graphics are stunning, particularly on a retina display, and the puzzles are both inventive and often quite fiendish. This is not just some quaint children's game, it will appeal to anyone who loves to work out intriguing problems. Mermaids with kangaroo heads wearing oven gloves give a surreal look to the game at times, but it only adds to it's charm. The game makes great use of the touch screen, and you will be frequently required to juggle the traditional controls with the quick reflexes of swiping and tapping the screen in order to proceed. With so many games out out there to choose from, it takes something special to truly stand out from the crowd. Mimpi most certainly does that. This game not only has beautiful performance and graphics but a world of strange, well, everything, along with the fact that only the ending is animated and the rest you can do on your own. And if you collect the bones, it gives you “mini backstories”, making the storyline seemingly more intense and clear, giving the player a feel of wonder. Ever though the world is strange, it makes sense and lets the player experience a game like no other. Each world is perfectly themed and designed, and have all been given a proper puzzle to flex your brain. Even when you finish, you will still think of the experience afterwards and most likely replay your favorite parts, or worlds. This is my all time favorite game and deserves credit.
