✓ Down hill fastUsed to be a great game but the latest update has made progress almost impossible without spending large. Lots of players are moaning and leaving the game. Sad times.Version: v5.4
✓ Good game but un reliableEnjoyable game but does crash regularly. I've just had two episodes where I've purchased gold from the treasury, the payment has gone through but I didn't receive any gold - to say I was annoyed is an understatement. Please fix this and refund my money or this will be the last time I play any of your apps. It is now constantly crashing - so annoying - please fix it ASAP. ✓ Battle islands good with flawsBattle Islands is a good game game with a deep expression of interests that most players enjoy it has many similar games like it but this one is unique beyond its own but it has some flaws such as its missing a troop viewing box that tells you what troops you have and what troops you are training this will make battling a lot easier and troop training as well so instead of guessing what men you have you can just refer back to the viewing box and find out .2 number two I think you should add 30 seconds more to the battle time because 1.30 is not enough mostly when you are taking out a bigger base because the men can't make it there and you run out of time .3 when you destroy 50 percent of the base you actually have to take out 51 percent for it to count as 50 percent this can be easily fixed.4 the game would be better if you could boost you factory's rigs and airdrops this could cost gold and could double the profits of gold selling .5 last thing you should add more troops here are some suggestions 1 a flamethrower he could have Close range and high damage and low health 2 a medic something equipped with a rifle that heals troops in a certain range and more troops means you need more defences so you could add shock mine which stops units for a short period of time or you could add more machine guns or add another upgrade for defences. ✓ Could be so much betterJust increase the time allowed for attacks. I can’t count how many battles I’ve seen end because the timer ran out, just ruins it. The AI is so stupid it’s unreal, the worse thing is that they aren’t consistent so it makes it infuriating especially when coming to enemy units. Number of hackers is huge but there’s enough genuine that you can play fine It’s a good game with good concept but just really big holes that could be easily filled in.Version: v5.4
✓ A buggy poor rip offCrashes so frequently, on load, on attacks on building etc. when watching defence replays amazingly the result is different each time! Different number of tags and loot!! How?! Positioning buildings on the island is simple but you can't go right up to the edge. Add on islands only fit one building. During attacks troops get confused and start destroying all walls instead of the buildings. Come on! Basically is a very poor knock off of clash of the clans. What is clear is that very few people play past the tutorial as virtually every attack was on a tutorial base. Don't waste your time.Version: 1.0.1

✓ Sort out the connectionReally quite a good CoC clone, the game is pretty well-balanced and armies don't take hours and hours to create. Some of the promotions are massively out of proportion - times jump from one day to three days to complete and this can leave you will all buildings upgraded but loads of promotions to do. Worst thing is servers - losing whole battles, armies when they crash and setting up armies to spawn that are simply not there when you return. Needs sorting otherwise this title will have a seriously short window of interest..Version: 1.1.2
✓ PotentialThere is lots of potential in this game. However as it stands, it isn't that good. The graphics aren't the best, combat seems almost impossible, and you're not encouraged to fight; I haven't been attacked since I started. There needs to be more items in the game to make it more interesting. The developers also need to not politicize themselves by having a rainbow flag in the shop. ✓ Ok but...This game is good but falls short on too many points like social, campaign and battle selection. No Facebook integration or equivalent means I haven't been able to get into any alliance... So disappointing! The selection of opponent to battle against is also giving access to any player and you can raid a beginner or worst, be attacked by gigantic army you can't defend against. Finally the campaign mode while interesting at first becomes quickly dull and lacks great rewards to even bother finishing it....Version: 1.0.1

✓ Would give this game a 4 star but...This is a great game that would have gotten a 4 star. Only problem with this game is that after every battle you loose your army and have to rebuild a new army. Doesn’t matter if 10 troops survive the battle, you have recreate an army after every battle. Which makes the game not fun because you are constantly waiting for your troops to retrain. ✓ Crash, very frustratingGame is good for developing resources and building army to attack others. However keeps crashing, can't connect to their server for last 2 days so been unable to play. In game, no advice how to tackle key defences e.g. Sea forts so not sure what resources are best to use. Resources are lost even if win the battle so no point attacking unless they have loads of crates to use to rebuild your resources and have to view each island to see their resource and then retreat. Rebuilding takes time so large periods of in activity. Could be easily improved to be an enjoyable game.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Needs UpdatedThis game is a good alternative to clash of clans and can be very fun, but it’s held back by the devs not updating it. Some of the menus on the left side of the screen are completely void as you cannot press them on newer model iPhones and I’m guessing some other phones too as the notch is obstructing them. ✓ Too unstableThe instability is just too frustrating - get started in a battle or training and it crashes - you lose everything and have to use credits to retrain etc - any wonder there's so many inactive players. Upgrades take stupid lengths of time as you progress - unless you want to dole out cash on buying credits. 10 days realtime for an upgrade to work up? Meh. Not bothering any more. ✓ Such potential but falls short.Needs a complete rethink to the AI once in battle, soldiers will run past main targets to attack a piece of lone wall until your time runs out which can be very annoying. Game will crash far to often and you can be playing for a good 5 minutes and a failed to connect alert will pop up and when it reloads you find all your hard work is all undone. ✓ Absolutely uselessThe new update is terrible and has robbed me of my progress, so I recommend you don't download it. When it first loaded it I clicked connect as it told me to do if I'd already played, this then tried then tried to force me to connect to Facebook which I don't want to do. I then tried again and let the cutscene play and this has now deleted all of my progress. You need to fix this as it was a really good game before this update. Now for e bad news. The connection to the servers is weak at best, regardless what your own internet connection is through (i.e. Wifi, broadband, mobile etc). The game itself keeps crashing, both in play and also when starting the game for each session. Lately the game won't even start, crashing back to e home screen and repeated "connection error" messages. Like so many other games there is the constant in app purchase theme but if I were you I wouldn't bother spending any money on this as the system is so unreliable you would be waiting your monkey. ✓ No where to go, so soon?I thought this game would be like Boom Beach, but I learned early on that the campaign was over too soon. The battles are not worth fighting. Every unit deployed must be replaced, even if they survive, which makes the loot not worth fighting for. It took me a few months before I maxed out the upgrades to the top level, in which I am stuck making tiny incremental upgrades, that make no difference, and the only players who I can fight against, are 100% maxed out. I wish this game was modeled after Boom Beach. ✓ Repetitive uninspired gaming.The game itself is good, but could be better. The game lacks the ability to communicate or be part of a community unless you connect it to your Facebook page. While in game and you find that you just hoard resources for the sake of building better buildings with little in the way of change afterwards. ✓ Cannot Reconnect to ServerThis is an alternative game to CoC. The issue is that it is very difficult to get into the game due to a reconnect issue and as users have grown over the past week attacking enemies causes the game to drop its server connection or just hangs. Even after an attack it can drop its connection and sometimes doesn't allocate captured resources and dog tags. ✓ Good idea. But that's it.The game is terrible. My major problem is the way troops are handled. During an attack, your troops usually pick a target when they land and stick to it until it is destroyed. They will do this regardless of what is happening. Your troops could pick a meaningless piece of wall as their target while the enemy defences blaze away at them. I deployed 10 tanks onto the beach of the enemy base, the tanks fired at a factory for a few seconds, then switched targets to the wall behind themselves, then switched targets again to another adjacent factory. All while an enemy defense was ripping them apart. Secondly, the military in this game has a serious case of desertion, after an invasion, it doesn't matter how many troops survived the battle, you will always have to train troops from 0 all over again. The game has a reward roulette which is horribly rigged. I spun for 5 gold, with the rewards being supplies or gold. The wheel span until it was moving towards a set of 5 tiles, with 2 gold, 1 supplies and another 2 gold tiles. The machine passed over the gold tiles pretty quickly but then came to a sudden and dead stop on the measly 50 supplies.Version: 2.3.2

✓ Server problemsI was talked into playing this game by my son, initially it was very enjoyable building my island and resources. Then the game started crashing, at first only occasionally now it is happening all the time, It is very annoying when going into battle and committing a lot of units only for the game to crash, I lose all the units win no resources from my opponent and then when the game restarts have to use more of my own resources to replace the units I lost. ✓ Improved server?It crashes more after the update! The server doesn't connect very well still. Also my men are just aimlessly running around the battlefield now even though there's stuff to blow up so they just die. When it says the user has $100k, most of the time they don't, it's about quarter of the amount- misleading... Come on lads.... Pull up your socks, what would the generals think about this? Love the game but you need to follow the likes of Supercell with their capabilities. I like that you now only need to hold on the button now to build your forces, this has saved me from repetitive strain at least... ;).Version: 1.1.2
