SubscriptionAnother developer drops paid app for subscription. There are plenty of apps that don’t have subscriptions. Don’t fall for the trap..Version: 2.2.6

Do not upgrade! Loses all features.Do not upgrade as the latest version allows access to the full workout challenge only if you subscribe to their monthly plan. The “unlimited free” wording is scam because it is only for a limited period. Rip off and zero warning this would happen. I am appalled!!.Version: 2.2.5

Scammers!I paid for this and other apps in one of their bundles. Now they’ve pulled the rug out from under me and made this a stupid subscription-based app with freaking ads! This is unconscionable!.Version: 2.2.10

They locked all features and usability in the app when I already paid for itI already paid full price for this app for full functionality and they just updated it to block access to the apps functionality without a subscription. I ALREADY PAID FOR IT AND SHOULDNT NEES A SUBSCRIPTION! Their loss, I can find thousands of apps to replace them without being held to a subscription after I already forked out money for an unlocked version..Version: 2.2.5

Subscription price is way too expensiveI had four Zen apps that I had been using for a while. Push-ups, squats, sit-ups, and pull-ups. All were full access. No grace period or discount on the new plan. I’ll be deleting all four apps..Version: 2.2.5

$I paid a few bucks for this app years ago and have used it for years. It’s a glorified chart telling you how any sets of how many reps to do each day. It’s basic, nothing worth paying this surprise monthly subscription Zen labs is foisting upon us to double dip I into our pockets..Version: 2.2.5

Okay, but...When one pays for the full version without advertisements, one is unpleasantly surprised to see your advertisements...annoyed even, when the icon shows notifications to go see your advertisements. FAIL...fix it, please!.Version: 1.8

Weasels! You just locked me out of my push-up tracking to go to a subscription model. I already bought your whole bundle and now you want more money. You should really let folks who already paid keep what they paid for. Oh well, but while I am here here’s the review: The app is fine for the $1 I paid. It makes it so you just show up and do what it says. But you can’t adjust the rest times or anything and spend a lot of time clicking through things. I was already considering switching to just tracking things myself anyways but I had spent $1 so I guess I stuck with it. Thanks for making that decision easier, I guess..Version: 2.2.5

UsabilityIt would be good if the little voice told me how many push ups/sit ups/squats/pull ups I had to do, so I don't have to check my phone each set..Version: 1.8

Update removes your access0 stars. Your iOS update today removed all access to the app after purchasing it a few months ago! I want my access back or I want a refund as I purchased push up/sit-up/pull-up challenges!.Version: 2.2.5

Love butI would love to be able to adjust the rest time or skip it if I want!.Version: 2.2

Money GrabbersI have been an avid user of this app for months, and have used it it was in early stages of release, and it's slowly gotten better over the years. However, after paying to buy the app and completing 6 weeks of the course, I got on today to see that they sprung a subscription service in order to move on in the portion of the app I've gotten to. I've used money to USE the app and it HAD the functionality, but they locked it up until I pay money to use it again. I find this completely unfair and unreasonable to subject me to paying for a pass that I've already been working on for months prior to today. I'm severely disappointed with how this was handled..Version: 2.2.5

App revoked purchasesI paid for this app and now this update removed all the features and wants a subscription. Your app developer license should be revoked..Version: 2.2.6

Avoid this oneI paid for the app originally - now since the recent update everything is locked out and developer wants me to pay for a subscription that I don’t need!!.Version: 2.2.5

Was good till Dec 2020 UpdateSuddenly unusable as they look to monetise with zero warning. Worse still if you decide to try the 7 day trial and then see if you find $4.99 a month worth it you just get a product unavailable message so you can’t even give them your money. Yes its the price of a coffee a month but of course we all have so many subscriptions these days it becomes a lot of coffee....I was enjoying the apps previously so will give the monthly plan a go IF they fix it quickly but if not will look elsewhere..Version: 2.2.5

AwfulDoesn’t tell what type of sit up doesn’t tell how to warm up all it does is break down the amt of “sit ups” then a rest n more. I was hoping for a variety type Of sit ups this is so not worth the download.Version: 2.1

OkSeems to work well so far but just started using it and the program asks repeatedly for a review. It gets very old clicking no every time I use it.Version: 2.2.2

FineApp is fine. Wish it was a bit more advanced. Wish there was a better tracking option. Also, not sure why there is a warmup..Version: 2.1

It was a really good app...Until it wants more money. I paid for the app, and then at the last update, it now requires a monthly subscription. Why would I pay twice?.Version: 2.2.8

Decent but could do betterPresentation of the app is nice, however it could do with having sound on the warm up and rest periods, as well as a voice prompt to start the next set. I’ve enabled sounds in settings and it doesn’t do much. Also if you exit the app and go to another (music for example) the rest timer pauses. Why not have it background continue? It’s a shame that I can’t see ahead on the workouts as well. If I want to check what’s in next week it logs as a new workout and then I have to say it’s incomplete and if I want it back on current progress ticked I have to reset progress. I purchased a bundle..Version: 2.2.1

Very unhappyLike many of the reviewers have said in prior reviews, I paid money for this app months ago. Now all of a sudden, it won’t let me use the app unless I pay a subscription. If you want new users to pay a subscription, fine. But existing users who paid money for the app should be grandfathered in..Version: 2.2.5

ACCESS BLOCKED AFTER APP PURCHASEDI purchased a few apps from Zen Labs Fitness in 2019 with the understanding that it was a one time purchase. Now I’m locked out of my apps because of a forced subscription. Multiple emails to customer service to fix the issue have been ignored. Beware..Version: 2.2.10

I paid for apps now have to pay againI paid full price for the set of these apps for full access now they have locked my apps and trying to charge me $4.99 a month for unlimited access. What a joke. Why did I have to pay for them in the first place ?.Version: 2.2.6

ScamDo not buy - they only give you 2 weeks access. The rest to get to 200 situps need a monthly subscription..Version: 2.2.5

Waste of time and moneyI have used this series of apps for a very long time with the hope of seeing some improvement, to no avail. -There is no ability to make the training regime specific to you - everybody must follow the same pattern. -The gradation of difficulty is not suitable for progress - it feels like the set/rep patterns have just been pulled out of thin air. It always seemed strange to me that the higher reps were at the end of the set when you are tired rather than closer to the start or middle. -There is no facility for offloading if you feel unable to hit the set/rep targets - so you have to manage this in some other way. -The apps timer doesn’t work if you leave the app - so you can’t do anything else on your phone between sets without losing time. -The developers say they respond to all feedback but given I have pointed this out and they haven’t replied then I guess that’s not right either. -After a long time of trying, I have never completed any of these apps and have not found them to be beneficial other than as a motivational tool. -My advice, try something else..Version: 2.2.4

Always opens to community highlightThe app never opens directly to the workout but instead always opens to a community highlight. Also, there is no opting to change the workout intensity based on fitness level..Version: 2.50

Only the beginning is freeThis is a good app, but you only get the first few days free. Once you get to a certain level you need to pay to unlock the rest..Version: 2.2.11
