✓ Marginal gameplay not a lot of optionsThe game play is vaguely fun but there are some reasons I’m deleting: 1) even the “quick” game (5 card stock pile) is interrupted by so many 30+ ads, it’s no longer quick. 2) in dingle player mode, you can’t change the name/avatar of your bot opponents: I play against 3 identical ladies named Carol! 3) you can’t adjust the volume on the ads....there is one that starts off with a girl screaming and repeats endlessly. How fun is THAT? 4) no choice of music, order of players, color background of screen or cards, no kind of bonus round....it’s like the developers aren’t even trying to keep it fresh. 5) at the end of the game, there’s no option to just play another game with the same settings. You have to go back to the Home Screen and choose again. And they play an ad every other move during the game and get you again at the end. Greedy much?!.Version: 4.1.9

✓ Excessive ads and glitchesThis game is fun, but there is a 30 second ad every 2 turns and it gets incredibly annoying very fast. there are also these weird glitches I noticed when playing with my mom, where the cards would show up one way on my screen but they showed up differently on her screen while we were playing each other in the same game. for example, on my screen it would show a blank pile and I’d try to play a 1 but it wouldn’t let me, and I’d look on her screen and see that it showed that the same pile was actually a 2, not a blank pile..and that has happened many times. there are also constantly times where a pile with a 12 on top will sit there and won’t clear itself, or a pile that appears to be blank won’t let u play a 1 on it because of the glitch, which is pretty frustrating. the excessive ads make this game almost unplayable...and after playing several games u have to watch another ad to get a coin to play another..:\.Version: 3.5.3

✓ It’s okThe game is fun. Just like we used to play with my family. However there are a TON of ads and they are the long 30 second kind. It takes forever to get through a game due to this fact. I also don’t appreciate the little characters get angry when they aren’t winning and make angry faces at you when you hit a good streak. They don’t say anything bad or curse but it is a little inappropriate, in my opinion, that it can’t just be a fun game. It makes me think of poor sportsmanship and I would question if it might make kids think this is ok to get mad when they don’t win or rub it someone’s face if they do win. ✓ Defective AppI just downloaded this app yesterday and it worked wonderfully. My boyfriend lives several hours a way and we were having a great time playing skip bo with each other. Now today ads appeared and they are constant. I would have been willing to pay to remove them, but for whatever reason it’s not letting my boyfriend and I play together anymore. ✓ Was our fav game to play, was!!My daughter and I have resorted back to playing the original card game due to our ongoing frustrations over the amount of time wasted with far too many ads, and the app constantly freezes then crashes, then u have to wait for it to reload and as soon as ur back in... an ad pops up. ✓ Keeps CrashingI love playing skip-bo. The adds were driving me insane so I bought the $5 version. It keeps diverting to the same game (that i finished ages ago) when I click ‘i want to continue with previous game’. Very complicated to figure out how to play against my friends online. It gets very confused when I use a coin to buy extra cards etc - only sometimes works. Now suddenly it has just gone black. I have tried closing and reopening the app but it is still happening. ✓ Too many ads no time to learn the gameI like card games and I thought I could learn to play this one as I have never heard of it. I played the tutorial twice and I have played about twelve games, but I still don't understand how the winner is chosen. I read the instructions twice too. I watched the other players cards to see if that would enlighten me as to who is winning, but that did not help either. I could not see how one of the other players had won as everything happened too fast. One minute I was playing and the next second the screen disappears and I am told one of the other players had won. No time to see how they had won. ✓ Updates at it again!I really like playing this game when I get the chance. That is before all of the extended commercials. I guess when you update your game you're really updating the commercials because the game itself still has the same problems and now it has a freezing problem. There was one point in the game I needed to get to a 2 and all the slots were empty and I had wilds but couldn’t play them to get to the 2! It went on for so long that I had a hand of FIVE wilds! You should be able to play a wild as an ace. Other issue was that a character paused for quite some time and I almost thought it was broken. ✓ Great game but...Once it’s uploaded to your phone it’s a great game to play. A bit on the computer winner ratio than yourself, bombarded with high numbers when low numbers are present & low numbers when high numbers are present. The ability the computer can narrow down to 1 or 2 cards from 10 is a bit absurd! After you have decided you no longer want to play the game after uploading it once. And you close out of it, and re-open it at a later time, after each turn that you play you’re bombarded with 30 second ads. Really not worth playing after the 5th thirty second ad. ✓ ADs!!!!!!!!I love the game but it has a 30 second to a minute AD every other move. This gets annoying very frickin’ annoying quick. At first I could deal with it but now I only play the game every once in a while because of it and remember how annoying it gets. Also it glitch a few times a game where a card is played and it doesn’t show on the field so it with either not let you play a card because it thinks it shouldn’t work or if you put a wild on it(which I have before) it makes it a different number than you wanted and completely screws you. ✓ Good for 1v1, bad for everything elseI was okay with only being able to vs one person at a time (even though it states this can be multiplayer... I don’t think the bots count). I was even coping with the over excessive ads that pop up every minute or so, sometimes in the middle of making a move (which would put the card in the discard pile instead of where I wanted it to go on the board). And losing my points every now and then was annoying, but I know my superiority in the game at our home reigns supreme regardless. But what I can’t deal with, is the inability to delete old games! Seriously, the list of games with a view function that replays the game is not necessary by any standard. The option to delete is there, but when you click it brings up a window stating to continue with the deletion, or ‘never mind’. It does not matter which you choose because the screen freezes and you need to restart the app. PLEASE fix that simple bug. Everything was fine until your last update. ✓ StressfulI love the game skip bo a lot but this app is making the game very stressful. There’s so many ads which I understand since you can pay $3 to get the app w/o ads but this is a crazy amount. Every 2 turns there’s a 15-30 second ad. It glitches when you’re playing against someone and you can’t tell what a pile is supposed to be. It’ll look like there’s nothing there but if you go to play a 1 it won’t let you and you have to try and find out what it is. Another thing when playing challenges against the computers and all the ads it has started glitching so bad it won’t go out of the ad. ✓ Loving this sickThis is a great game and I love the concept of being able to challenge others to games. Downside is the number of ads - way too many, even for a free game. One round had six adverts during the actual game. Also there seems to be a glitch where the cards don’t automatically remove once reach 12 and sometimes this might not happen until it reaches 3, then the pile disappears and you have to remember that you are at 4 until someone puts a card down. ✓ Way too many ads DURING each game!I absolutely love Skip-Bo and the app is really fun; however, every game you play is bombarded with ads. I expected some ads, because the app is free, but there’s an ad after ever other turn. It takes away from the game... Number one: sometimes the ads make the game crash or they don’t play at all, so you’re stuck watching a black screen for the duration of the ad. Number two: it distracts from the game having to watch a 15-60 second ad in between turns. I understand the need for the ads, but couldn’t the ads play before and after each game?..Not DURING the game? I would even be okay with watching two or three ads back to back before and after each game if that meant the actual game was ad free. The way the ads are right now though, unfortunately has me thinking about deleting the app. I do like the fact that you can pick how many cards are in your stock pile to start with and that there are multiple players you can pick to play with though.
