✓ The Best Mobile GameFirst this was my favorite app on mobile, but after unlocking everything and beating everything there's nothing else I can do. Except play with my friends on local. ✓ Great game.Challenging and fun, I've spent many hours trying to complete all the missions with every race. The multiplayer is fun but it takes a while to connect to another player. I would like to see a Skirmish mode (similar to multiplayer but against AI). All in all, a great game, definitely worth the price tag..Version: 1.2.3
✓ Good, but could use a few changes.The biggest threat to balance in this game is that two factions, those being the Blockbots and Blockoids have very powerful special customizations exclusive to Level 3 units, whereas the other factions of the game have no exclusive Level 3 unit customizations. A suggestion for the Block Men could be a “Power Armor” that increases the spawn delay by 14 seconds, increases armor by 55, increases melee damage by 15, increases block chance by 15, and also increases their weight. Block men are primarily vulnerable to splash damage, and an improvement to defense would alleviate some of the problems players are having with them. In closing, the “weaker” factions aren’t bad, but instead they just lack the “game-changer” skills that the “stronger” factions have..Version: 1.3.2

✓ Very good game but I have a few suggestionsThis is a super fun game and I really like it but I hVe a few suggestions. 1. New race. Maybe sometime add a new race like the dwarves or elves like another review said 2. GIVE THE TANK A UPGRADE. The tank needs an upgrade. I suggest upping its health to 400 and his pearling to 50 and maybe his damage a tiny bit. His ability so need upgrades to. There needs to be upgrades for weapons and turrets, i.e. you can upgrade 50 cal/howitzer to have higher damage or faster reload, and weapons like sniper rifles could have faster reload. Allow the foot soldier ranks to go beyond level 3, allowing maybe level 4 and 5 so that we can reach higher levels in the endless mode. Other then that I really like this game!.Version: 1.4.3

✓ Good game but...Good game but has problems... Fun, can get a little repetitive, its good but not as in-depth as block fortress, disappointing seeing as i am a fan of the series. Honestly i would go for that as it is more fun and more customisable (has its own problems too, quite grindy but fun in the late game) Cons: •Repetitive at times --> most of the levels that you play on are re-used from previous campaigns •Too hard in some cases E.g. Where u play as zomblocks and you fight the robots on the final level, due to no good & easy to get ranged defence was unable to complete the level, ever. Had to buy the next race. 100% completed in all races but zomblocks on that 1 level because too hard to beat. ✓ Beautiful gameFoursaken Media is quite possibly my favourite game making studio. Not only did you make heroes and castles, bug heroes 1 & 2 but now this! You ought to be proud. I'm not going to rate you under 5 because I know you are making the 4th and 5th gobbo levels easier and fixing the final zomblock level next update, and I know we all make mistakes. I spent an extra $4 on the game after I bought it to try out the other races so I don't have a progression problem. ✓ DifferenceWhat is unique about this game is that it's not like any other moba (multiplayer online battle arena) as you can build defenses, have unique gear for troops, and as this game is not a pay to win. Since you actually need strategy, for example, I bet the 5th mission on mecha with all races with the 1st hero and basic gear. With most people they dont wait for the base to level up as they just rush in get it over and done with. This game really tests on your skill of army management as you have to change the gear at the midst of battle, etc. App idea- To play as the same race you are fighting against in the campaign but on the same planet with different missions. Have a difficulty selection like, easy, normal, advanced, heroic, and of course, expert mode which can only be unlocked after you've completed the planet with 100%. (Edit) Wow, this got an update? ✓ Great!One of the best games I've played on iPad in a while the one game that hasn't left me bored of it and end up getting rid of it nope! On it pretty much daily very addictive! The local multiplayer is very good too however restricted...I feel there should be an option to choose how many bases you can have and how big the map itself is not only that maybe abit of a sandbox? Where you can build you base and defences with unlimited minerals as well as walls and even buildings from blocks as soon as you press GO you can only control your hero and it's up to both sides to fight through and see who wins! ✓ Desecrated palace glitches and heroesThe final zomblock level has some serious glitches in it that stop u from attacking the enemy base, using ur hero powers, stuff up the camera and stop u from ordering around ur hero. This is really annoying because now I can't complete the blockmen campaign or unlock the zomblock one. Also, when u buy a class of hero, it should be unlocked for all races not just one. ✓ Amazing gameVery good and addictive game, and hard at times, which makes it challenging and more addictive to play. The only problem is that the Zomblocks race is incredibly hard in some levels, especially Mecha 5. I had to look up how to do Mecha 5, as I was hopeless otherwise. This is a great game, and I have 100% every race! and obtained every hero. It would be great if there was more options for multiplayer, like larger maps, defensive race or offensive race, or some added elements. ✓ One of the best games out there however one level is just garbageBlock bots are unbalanced as hell trust me when you get to planet mecha 5 (as zomblock) just destroy the first barracks them invincibility heal and skill point spam on the second barracks (with the overlord at the barracks) and you win easily other than that phenomenal game although bot block campaign is easy as hell and blockoids ability to wield multiple weapons does not work with the stun basically its impossible to have them be in range to use stun and an actual weapon unless your fighting melee units past bot block 4 (as zomblock) the game becomes a lot less balanced also when you complete the game (finishing mecha 5 as blockoid) its kinda anticlimactic also make sure to do it with internet (unlike me) or you may not get the achievement but uh when you win you just get the greater good achievement and 1000 rare minerals it would be better if theres credits more than 1000 or literally anything else the only thing after that is unlocking and beating the game with all heros (each race has 3) and surviving endless for 15m with each race (difficult since at 10m it just spams enemys) and then thats it you can move on to block fortress empires (a highly insuperior game) which is the last in the series the series probably died due to bfe costing alot and being a big let down so uh yeah thats the review sorry it took your entire life span to finish reading..Version: 1.4.4

I love RTS games and this has everything you need: resource management, turrets, fortifications, custom unit specifications, powerful commander. On a simpler scale it is similar to Supreme Commander/Total Annihilation. While some users complain that it is too hard, this is actually balanced for strategic improvement. Once each world is completed, an endless option is unlocked. Depending on how long you withstand the onslaught, the more credits you earn, which can be used to purchase upgrade to units and base fortification. Simply loving it. ✓ Excellent game!This game is brilliant and a Realy good sequel to the origional, it loses some of the origional games features but MORE than makes up for it with the new ones it provides. The game can be quite challenging especially on the higher levels but it just takes a bit of thought and trying the challenge from different angles. Hearing lots of complaints about zomblock horde but you just have to plan your defences and suddenly it's pretty easy, I grind that mission now with goblocks and my fastest time is 1 minute 47 seconds just keep at it! Multiplayer is also good fun! But there are several bugs with the game such as when I'm playing a mission or online it will randomly take me out the app and put me on the main screen of my iPod (ios 7.1 ipad air) and the zomblock mission 5 glitch where it all goes dark and you can't attack or see structures, just units..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Great.... But unfairThis game is wonderful. The concept and gameplay all work perfect. It's just... The enemies are TOO OP. I mean, I could take on an army of enemy troops better than mine. But when you're about to win the round and you feel so proud, the enemy literally throws a bajillion elite troopers and multiple heroes at you, which is something I can't do when IM about to die. So remove that annoying last wave, but to keep it a challenge, make the enemy troops more powerful. Also lower the cost on heroes a tad because when you actually manage to get them you've nearly finished that race anyway. Is possible for you guys to make multi-bases and units like air and navel based units and defences because in my opinion I think it would change up tactics completely like have some human infantry carry a SAM (surface to air missile) so he can destroy air units. ✓ A very good block fortress gameA very good strategy game with very good graphics and style of game play, I think App Store barely have any real time strategy games as this, but this game is just brillant. This game is not really a pay to win style game (albeit a few micro transactions), not only you buy stronger gears for your races, it also involves creativity, how your troops are equipped and how your towers are placed. The only thing is, it never got any major updates in a while. I just hope this game gets updated. However, the only thing I want to point out is that gameplay can become repetitive as playing the same missions all and over again (becomes a problem when you unlocked all the races) and there are barely any challenges. ✓ An incredible gameI started playing this game when I was really young, like 8, around when it first came out. And man, do I love it. I've played through it probably 10 ish times and done a good amount of multiplayer with friends. It has an incredible campaign, that makes you feel like you really overcame a challenge. This is probably my single favorite mobile game, and it's definitely up there for non-mobile games as well. All I want is a SEQUEL. There's Empires, but that's really not the same. This game is so good, and yet it's also so short and fairly limited in its scope. A sequel with expanded campaigns, equipment, heroes, maybe even new races, would be AMAZING. Just... ✓ Data tranferMy ipad isn't compatible for the new update so I have to transfer my data to a new device. I bought stuff in this game. I don't have another ipad or iphone that I can transfer my data to. All I have is this ipad 2 (maybe an ipad 3) and a first gen ipad mini. I don't see either of them on the list. Overall the game is still good. Multiplayer only works with local wi-fi (unless that was fixed in the update). All my favorite games are getting out of my reach. First Game Center doesn’t work for most newer apple products so we can’t do the multiplayer functions. ✓ Amazing game however..This game is absolutely amazing, challenging addictive and lots of great content. Don't listen to those saying it's "impossible" for whilst it is challenging, levels often require certain equipment to be unlocked in order to make said level easier, (all those stuck on zomblock horde level will find howitzer to be a huge help) However a bug, the game occasionally crashes and removes my progress but keeps my equipment, money and playable races which isn't a total loss but frustrating when I have to recomplete levels to get from 0% to 60% to unlock more equipment for example, more frustrating is that in an attempt to retrieve this lost progress, I tried to load a game from iCloud which unfortunately wiped everything and now I am quite literally on square one! There are bugs here and there, like every time you attack Gobbo 4 (The Block Gate) the heroes color gets disoriented, and it looks odd. ✓ Great gameThis game provides hours of fun and is really addictive. I have spent hours on this game and still enjoy it. It is well worth the money. My only problems are that the zomblock splitting ability isn't working and when playing as zomblocks on the 100% mecha mission it is way to hard and i have had many attempts but i still cant do it. They send out way to many powerful ranged enemies for my zomblocks to handle. And the totems get destroyed in seconds. Sometimes this game will delete my progress when I complete a campaign level. My game has done this twice. (that I remember) this happened on two of the hardest levels for me. I would complete a level and would exit the game 30 seconds after. Then i would re-open (right after or later) and my progress would be deleted. :( this for some reason happened both times (that I remember) on the blockoid levels. It was always pretty upsetting when I would find my progress deleted. :( If the developers could fix this that would be awesome!!! :) I don’t have any experience developing a game (so please take this a grain of salt) but I do have 1 or 2 ideas how fix that: if the game could save faster, if the game saved right after you completed the levels (maybe not after you get to the solar system), or something else that the devs might want to do. ✓ A quality productionThe App Store tends to trend to more brain dead games that are put together in a day without thought or merit. However block fortress war doesn’t fit in any of those categories as it is a masterfully designed game that obviously had passionate developers who worked on it. The game has a extensive amount of content to it that is not locked around a pay wall, there are 5 different races each with their own 3 heroes or commanders who lead them. In addition each race can play very differently as each has their own play styles, for example zomblocks can only build up on their power blocks making it harder to defend as them with direct damage, but they have very powerful buff blocks that do stuff such as local units waves take reduced ranged damage or local enemy units having decreased damage output. On the other side you have the block men who have long range 50 cal machine guns and heavy artillery / missile batteries but their units suffer in melee and only spawn in unit groups of 3. There is also a campaign for each race where you fight the 4 other races on there respective planets with 5 specialised missions each. There is a lot more I am missing and I want to get back to Starcraft so to summarise, don’t miss the opportunity to play this game, I guarantee you will be pleased..Version: 1.3.2

✓ Good gameIt's a magnificent game you guys put a lot of work into but it's incomplete well for me and others but besides it you need have more campaigns and weapons and add a mech for block man due to there weak hp there just plain weak for the - hard to get for it players and it's cool oh yeah block man need shot guns to! ✓ Awesome game. Shame to see it abandoned.This was an amassing game, the simplistic blocky Warhammer 40k game RTS blah blah. There should be a spin-off or official / unofficial sequel or DLC. I can’t get enough of this truly amazing game. I was playing this game for many years already and I’m sad to see that the devs have abandoned it. ✓ New race soon?I was wondering if you would add any new races like Elves or dwarfs!! That'll be awesome!! The elves could have one melee leader and two range leaders like the gobs and Humans, as for the dwarfs they could have two melee leaders with one range character of course that range dwarf will hopefully have a blunderbuss. It'll be awesome!! If you don't try something like this, I'll love this game even more. Oh and maybe Coop survival? Just harder than the endless mode. This game would be amazing if it had co-op, instead of just trying to demolish eachother in 1v1's and 2v2's. I'm really hoping for a big update!! I can't wait!!!!! ✓ GOOD BŪTI figured out a exploit with the robots if you have 5 ability points with robots and as alpha have high yield then spam it. It makes the campaign to easy you could finish any level org it it sends out so many units. Another one is with the chargers it makes your health go up as you know it does what it does but there is no limit so you could do it in multiplayer or campaign. Note it is a great game but please nerf it..Version: 1.3.2

I don’t have any complaints, but I think it would be really cool to have a mode like endless, but instead of defending your attacking, and its in the corridor format and you just keep going every time you destroy the barracks and it’s randomly generated and you see how many consecutive bases you can destroy. ✓ Good game but annoyed as it crashesThis game is definitely one of the best I have ever played and I recommend it as it is not impossible. But after a Bluetooth game failed to load, and I quit the game it will not load back up and crashes every time the game is about to start up. This problem also seems to be related to logging into the Game Center as it fails to start up just where the other block fortress would log into the Game Center (I have an iPad 2). Please fix this problem as it is such a good game and I would love to carry on playing it! This review would otherwise be 5 star..Version: 1.2.1

✓ It just needs more contentIt’s a very addictive game and I want to keep playing more but there’s only endless and other strategies to beat past levels. It needs some more planets, a civil war, vehicles you can build on(maybe), sandbox, and a level editor. However, once you finish the campaign, there really isn’t that much to do. There are very little people who play multiplayer and the “endless mode” isn’t that exciting.
