✓ Frustrated-game resets every time I playI played the "free part" of this game and really liked it - so I decided to buy. After I purchased, I went to bed. (I turned off my IPad). The next night, I went to play and my progress had been reset. So I assumed, maybe it was because I had bought the full version. So, I played for a while last night, made it through the free part again and played a half hour or so past that. Went to bed (again, I turned my iPad off), and this morning my progress had been reset AGAIN! I didn't get this game on sale, so needless to say, I am extremely upset that I paid $6.99 for a game that I can't play and put down. I have the newest IOS version, and maybe there's a glitch in the game that needs to be addressed. I enjoy this game and would gladly give it 5 starts if it wasn't for this MAJOR issue. ✓ Takes some getting used toIf you play more traditional HOPS games like those from Mad Head and 4 Friends, this will take some time to get accustomed to. I liked it and I didn’t. The HOPS are lots of fun but as some other reviewers have noted there is a lot of back and forth. I stopped reading the journal notes because I found it so odd that you have to briefly look at the opening page of the game to get back to where you were. ✓ WAY TOO MUCH BACK AND FORTHI wanted to like this game, especially since I'm a native Bostonian. But, I've tried it twice now, and found it very disappointing. You go to a scene, find one thing, then have to move to a new location. And, since there's NO logic to most of the moves. You need to keep referring to the map. Example: the water in the hallway (it's a foyer, not a hallway, BTW) is dirty (beyond foolish, who has a bowl of dirty water in their foyer?), you go to another scene, several moves later, and find a cleaner, move further on to find a wounded man, and a dirty bandage (doesn't everyone have a dirty bandage hanging around?), so you need to go to the dirty water, add the cleaner, wash the bandage, go back to the wounded man and apply the bandage! Sorry, but that's just too stupid. This game COULD be good, but it's not. Even the HO scenes have oddities, like needing a scalpel to open the model of an eye to locate something totally unrelated. ✓ I am astonished!!!Sat down to what I thought was another GREAT game from Big Fish, only to be shot down with what I thought were going to be removed once I paid. Nope, didn't happen. First of all, I had to go back and forth to find the items that I needed, each and every time. Made for a very boring game to keep seeing the same shots over and over again. I guess. It didn't bother anyone else. THEN, to make matters worse, every scene change or even more, it kept loading, and you had to watch the original guy on your screen, as if it was loading from the beginning! It wasn't even that good of a game. I would NOT recommend this game to anyone. Oh, one more thing, what happened to the lower priced games, like the $4.99 ones? Bet this doesn't get posted. ✓ Visually good, running around not goodAlthough visually appealing, I had to resort to the map more and more, because it got very tiring 'running' back and forth from place to place finding objects ( for example) to open something ... only to find out I had to go looking for a second object to finally open a lock etc - this happened over and over again. So I replayed the game to get to the bonus section and finally opened the bonus part... Then it crashed and when I reopened the app, it had reset my progress again. Noooooo :( Very sad.
