One starHave bought four of these apps and every single one has glitchy audio. If it wasn’t for this I would probably give them a five but as they are they are useless. Other audio/music apps on my device are fine. I did try to send and email to support but it won’t send. So can you help with this please thanks..Version: 2.4.2

Some disaapointmentsWould like to give 5 Stars but just can't. First disappointment, many "styles" have no ability to use organ track. It's not even included. Open the mixer only to find 2 guitars, no organ at all. (Keyboards play on shuffles and funk too Sessionband, just to let you know.) Also, several styles that DO include organ have it playing at least an octave too high with no ability to transpose it back down an octave (or even two) making the organ part pretty much useless for that style. Also disappointing, sorry to say but keyboard chord voicings are absolutely awful on too many styles, (even if in proper octave range). Again makes kbd track pretty much useless. Sad :-( But hey, if you don't care for keys, maybe the app will be to your liking!.Version: 2.4.3

No updates in over a year....Many flaws in program that were promised to be fixed long ago but haven't been. No way to separate instruments. Could be an excellent tool for songwriting but limited interface is frustrating. Don't buy until program gets a major update..Version: 1.2

Limited, but nice soundsAlthough more limited in practice than the YouTube demos imply, this app has some lovely sounds. Editing controls are poor and don't always work. Also, remember to save before applying anything, as there is no undo button. The saving grace here is AudioBus compatibility. But the blocky pre-retina interface desperately needs updating. Nic.Version: 2.0

Poor to average.Band in a box it is definitely not ... .... because you have to buy a separate app for each musical genre - and even then you don't get a full compliment of chords. Therefore its usefulness and versatility is really quite limited when compared to similar apps. Surprisingly for a premium app that is claimed to be "pro quality" there is 'bleed' on some guitar tracks meaning that it is impossible to completely mute tracks without audio leakage. Pro quality - don't think so. On a practical side, creating even a basic 12 bar in G using simple major triads is not quick, easy or straightforward - in fact, it's simply not possible! I'm beginning to think that the developers of this range of apps are more interested in demonstrating their (undoubted) musical prowess than making practical usable musicians tools. For what it's worth, I'd advise them to take a good hard look at Chordbot and then review their efforts..Version: 1.2

Useless for backing tracksStarts with Audiobus won't initialise and will be disabled message. it doesn't get any better from there. the "segments" have guitar soloing all over them which can't be turned off. I wanted this to use as backing tracks to play over. not hear someone elses solos on loop mode. really dreadful and I'd like my money back too!!!.Version: 1.2

Major tempo issueGreat idea and sounds but as soon you change tempo you have to close app and open again as no other settings are accessible. You are effectively stuck using the preset tempo as far as usability goes. There's been no update at least since this app went on sale at Christmas. Time for an update!!!.Version: 1.2

Very limitedLimited number of chords...e.g. There are NO major chords available Limited riffs...you have to choose a global style which limits you to the set piece riffs within that style. And there are not many of them. In fact, there is only ONE riff per chord. Result is your songs will all start to sound quite similar. Fun for a fiddle, but not a satisfying music creator..Version: 2.0

What The?This is a self serving piece of dribble. If your looking for the blues, "it ain't here" Crazy keys and chord progressions. Just waisted $9.Version: 2.0

Very poor controls...Can we please.... please.... PLEASE.... have a PLAY/STOP button on the EDIT window!?! It is INCREDIBLY frustrating and hindering to workflow to keep having to switch backwards and forwards and then stop and start and back and forward again!! Makes a potentially very useful app... into frustrating amateur rubbish!.Version: 2.1

Utterly impossible to work withThis may be a good idea- certainly, if you’re happy with the hundred or so tracks available at purchase it IS a pretty neat idea. However, it is completely, totally, utterly impossible to create one’s own track. The chord selection method is clunky and very hit-and-miss, and woe betide the user if s/he wishes to resize the chord blocks- it’s two bars or nothing. If that were not enough, the app is very fond of introducing random chord blocks of its own, and even changing the very nature of the two-chord blocks already created with much labour, so the the initial G7 has somehow morphed into an Ebm9 without being touched. I spent an entire hour wrestling with what should have been a very simple 12-bar chug without ever getting to the V chord before giving up. Tbh, I could have done what I had wanted to do with just a guitar in fifteen minutes in Garageband, and had more fun in the process. At least it was only £1.99....Version: 2.3

Poor edit pageGood loops but the whole app is not well designed. No pause/play button in the edit screen. This basic feature has been requested for years but developers don’t listen. The app needs updates based on users’ feedback..Version: 2.4.3

HopelessWill not launch. Crashes. Pointless. I want my money back. Had to give it one star to submit the review but it doesn't deserve any stars. Cheers ... Nick.Version: 1.2

Total garbageThe description makes this tool sound much more fully featured than it is. It only has one audio loop per chord, with no way of modulating each loop to a different key. Apple refuses to refund. Very disappointed. What a waste of $$..Version: 2.0

Very disappointingI hoped to have some tracks I could jam along with but there was nothing here that I would remotely call blues. Not a blues harp in sight, no Robert Johnson, BB King, Freddy King, Elmore James, Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker styles. A total waste of money..Version: 2.0

Ok buts has problemsOut of the box it works fine until you want to edit a track. Editing is very difficult and seems to crash the app. All Session Band apps no longer work with Audio bus. Instruments are great if you use it as is..Version: 1.2

Session band blues volume1Says update but then say no longer available to buy!!!!.Version: 1.2

It crashI bough it this morning when I try to use it crash.Version: 1.2

Has potential to be great, but...At first glance this app seems to be guitar players dream. Well produced jam tracks with the ability to edit progressions and apply different feels to the included tracks. Unfortunately, it all falls apart under its weight when you try to actually edit and create your own tracks. It's horrible, un intuitive, and unresponsive control scheme begs to ask the question who designed this? And how did anyone with a brain decide to sign off on such a clunky anti user design? Tap the end of a bar to reveal the arrows. Try to shrink or extend the length of a chord? Good luck. Try to get the player to play anything other than a two bar phrase? Good luck. One day someone will release an music accompaniment app that actually delivers with features and ease of use. This is not it. Unless you have the time to fiddle with it's broken design, I would pass. I'd rather spend my time practicing than screaming at an app that is fundamentally broken from an interface perspective..Version: 1.2

Great but kills batteryI like this app ... a lot ... but it kills your battery big time even when you close it. And then it doesn't give you the option to close background processes upon closing like other apps offer..Version: 2.0

Scrolling chords don't match music speedThe scrolling chord symbols and bars do not move in sync with the music and can be over a bar out on some tunes. This needs fixing to make this App useable..Version: 2.0

Major bugCan’t change tracks without completely leaving the app. Not good at all. Everything else is amazing really really is, but the problem above makes me not wanna use the app every time I do..Version: 2.4

Eh?I have to agree with Cassius King. I found this app a bit illusive when it comes to blues. I don't know what this is, wouldn't call it blues though. To many jazz like chords in this. Get back to the drawing board with this guys. Let's get some hard core blues, rock combo here. This is kinda wimpy stuff here. You need to offer a money back guarantee here. Waste of money..Version: 2.0

Drums don’t like tempo changeThe chords are a bit jazzy, what happened to a simple minor chord? Also the drums sound absolutely dreadful if you move the tempo.Version: 2.3
