✓ Good app, but...I use a quite a few of your Session band apps, I have all of the jazz series, and the blues app. I find them easy to use for practice. I mostly make my own rhythm tracks (bass and drums) to work on practice patterns for jazz, and I hope to use the blues app in the same way for working some heavy blues rock riffs against on guitar. Harmony is not a big deal at this point since I work against a rhythm section (bass and drums), but it would be nice in the blues app to have some straight triad chord possibilities, 5 chords for example to add a rhythm guitar. Do not need the extended chords so much in the blues app. Just my humble opinion. Overall I use the SessionBand app daily and think it is best for a shallow learning curve to just get woodshedding..Version: 2.4
✓ Good for jamming but not for advanced usesI just use this to create jam tracks that I play along with using the app. It’s nice to be able to control the tempo change keys and so on and off the stock tracks. This is mostly what I do. I haven’t had much luck exporting tracks to garage band etc. As a matter fact I would say the app is horrible for this. But there’s an easy way to access jam tracks that can be tweakedTo change keys and what not, this app is good.Version: 2.4.1

✓ Mind blowingDon't listen to the other idiot who posted his review, I've found this app to be unbelievable when compared to other backing track apps. What sets this apart is the fact you can input/transpose your favourite song and play along to it. In other words, you put in the chord progressions from tabs/sheet music, and its duration, (4 X bars C + 2 X Bars F7 + 1 X bars G), hit the save button, then hit the play button. It only takes a few sessions to get your head around how to access all the controls. It's a very logical process actually, you don't need to be a musician to nail it. It took me about 3 minutes to setup and create a 12 bar blues song. There are nice variety of little drum frills to mix it up a bit and give the tune some colour. But, if your not up to doing all that, there are dozens of different songs of various styles and chord progressions ready to go. There is a mini mixing desk where you lower the volume of the track which is applicable to you, I'm a bass player, so I mute the bass track, but if you are a guitarist, you would mute the guitar track. Well worth the money. How anyone can give this the thumbs down is beyond me. I rarely write reviews, but I felt obliged after reading the other dudes unfair attack. Do what I did, buy the blues version, and if you're happy with that, go ahead and buy the bundle. The only negative is that it hogs a lot of space, about 800megs. But I guess all those loops add up. Conclusion, get it, it's the only backing track app that you can edit, and all the loops are done by professional studio musicians, they are crisp. It's as close as playing with a band as you'll ever get..Version: 2.0

Could do with more chord variations but very easy to create awesome and hi quality blues tracks for instrumentalists to play over. I play bass and these aps let me create chord progressions, hear what the studio musician would play, create my own riffs, play just with the drums or organ or guitar or any combination I want. The demos are incredible. Blues, jazz, rock, country, on and on. The ability to change keys at the press of a button is awesome. This ap is THE ONE I've hoped would be available some day. ✓ I was only looking for playalong tracks and I found thisI was looking for a collection of playalong tracks (I'm learning blues piano) and I came across this app. This is the SUPER JACKED version of what I was looking for - I can enter in a basic 12-bar blues or really anything I have a box chart/lead sheet/fake book for, then play it in pretty much my groove of choice and mute the tracks I don't like. If I want to get really involved I can input the whole roadmap and remix the levels, but that's more than I need. If I have a reservation, it's that the UI takes a bit of getting used to and it's a bit fiddly, but it may be a little friendly with something bigger than my iphone 5s. Definitely recommend to blues musicians and singers as a songwriting and practice tool..Version: 2.0

It's great for sketching out arrangements and practicing your instrument.Love the drum and organ parts in this one. ✓ Good app for making jam tracks ...I didn't have any problems learning how to use the app. If anything, my mistake was thinking it was harder to use than it is. Works great. I play blues so, unless I am missing something, it would be better if I could substitute a keyboard for the rhythm guitar in Texas Blues Crunch, etc. I like some rhythm in the backing. Just would like a little more flexibility about what kind of rhythm. Not complaining though. After trying all kinds of looping programs, this is the one that I use to practice to. Great job guys. Looking forward to more functions and sophistication. I, for one, would not hesitate to pay a bit more for an upscale version. Thanks..Version: 2.1
