✓ Used to be 5 star appI love this game and have played for years but suddenly the stats on average times is totally off. I get called a MASTER when other’s average times are so high they can’t be accurate and I just got an average time of negative 17 minutes. Really!? Please fix..Version: 3.2.2

✓ Latest update is a clangerLove this app, great for keeping the grey matter working on a long commute. However, the update this week has introduced strange pulsating shading when entering numbers that actually means the numbers cannot be seen. ✓ Horrible now!I’ve played app this for years, and when I ran out of all the puzzles, I reinstalled with this version. What once was my favorite app, is now absolutely horrible! Between every sudoku - every one - a pop up ad appears for another games, which covers the screen of the current sudoku. Yet the time still runs down on the puzzle while you wait for the stupid x to appear on the pop up. Don’t bother with this app. It used to be great, but now others are much better..Version: 2.2.1
✓ Not goodI tried this game as I play sudoku regularly on paper. However want I want to do is to put the same number in two squares. Ok it does that. Then wen I’ve decided which one is correct delete the incorrect number and have the correct number fixed in large type. I’d does not do that all the trial numbers and correct numbers I enter are all small. Yuck. Confusing Then when I complete the board I expect to press a button to say I am finished or it automatically gives me a “ well Done” or some confirmation that the game is completed. It does not do that. Most unsatisfactory. I’ve deleted the app.Version: 1.3
✓ Not sure about this oneJust downloaded this app and immediately finding it annoying that once you’ve filled in all of any number, it doesn’t grey out in the selection box below. So you can’t see at a glance which numbers remain unsolved. Going to try another app....Version: 2.2
✓ Better than most, but still lackingI love the simplicity of this app, but highlighting the rows, columns, and blocks every time I select a space is super annoying. That feature may help some folks, but it interferes with my ability to see the whole board. It would be great to have the option to turn that feature off. Thank you..Version: 1.3

✓ Quit nagging me to review!Iit Ian that good was f a sudoku app. The interface is kind of Kano, but it was goths puzzles were good enough that I paid for the full ad-free app and the biggest problem is that it keeps nagging me to rate it in the App Store completely ruining my sudoku solving zen state. Also, and maybe this is a coincidence, but the review typing screen for a one star review is white text on a white background so I can’t easily check my one star review for typographical errors!.Version: 2.2
✓ Very user friendly, but repeated puzzlesThis is my favourite sudoku app from usage perspective. However, there is very limited number of puzzles. It says 500 per difficulty level on the tin, but in reality these are a combination of the same, only the numbers switched. ✓ Serviceable but clunkyAt first look it’s simple, clean and uncluttered, but then the gray lines appear and it distracts from the clean view, which hampers the speed of the game. The last straw was that it keeps erasing the previous move, which breaks concentration. Why would you do that? There’s a back button if that’s really necessary. ✓ Worth getting but can be improvedI chose to upgrade to get rid of distracting ads. The mechanics of the puzzle work well but there should be something that pops up when you successfully finish a game, and that confirms it's complete, or similar. The wording about ' get rid of this game' is odd. Not sure if it means it won't count towards stats, even though I wanted it to. Confusing. Once complete, there should be an option saying would you like to play another game. Also, none of the games I've completed so far have shown anywhere in the stats. At the end of a game it's not clear where to go next. It would also be good to have a pause/ resume feature so that clock doesn't keep ticking when you have to close up the game for a while..Version: 1.0
✓ No more fading boxesIt was great before the update that made the box you are working on fade from black to gray so you can't see what you have in the box. I play the game for time as well as fun so I don't have time to wait to see what's in the box again as it changes from visible gray to non-visible black. Please change it back..Version: 2.0

✓ App did work fine but they ads are now insaneThis app worked fine for years and had a reasonable balance between user use and clear but reasonable ads at the top. They’ve recently forced an update where the ads take over tge entire screen every 20 seconds or so after a few minutes of playing a game. This makes the app pretty much worthless as anything but a demo. Feels really nasty to do this change via an unwanted update..Version: 2.2.1

Unlike all the other apps I've tried, this app doesn't indicate when that number has been completed on the board so it takes extra time looking for numbers that are completed. ✓ Works great for a number of puzzles but then starts to recycle the same onesI really enjoyed doing the master puzzles until I realized that they started cycling the same puzzles every 5. I’m not sure when this started but it’s definitely before the first 100 puzzles, and potentially much sooner, for all I know it was all along and I simply didn’t notice. Very disappointed. Edit: I would be happy to understand why it’s happening and fix it, but the contact the dev link seems to go to a site which has never loaded for me, tried on several computers without luck. ✓ Can’t close adHad this for over a year and loved it, but I just had an ad for the same organization’s solitaire game. I couldn’t continue playing Sudoku until I downloaded their Solitaire. ✓ Frustrating annoying updateI’ve been playing Pure Sudoku for quite a few years. I go through the whole series of all levels and then start again. I really liked it. Nothing needed changing for me. But now, the new update makes it slower and harder to see, with the grey boxes and slow reveal of the number you’ve entered, not to mention the change of font for the completion time. I hate the new update. I’m considering finding a new app for playing the game. Why on earth did you think it needed changing to something that’s less user friendly, when it was already working perfectly well?.Version: 2.1
