I think the only thing which discourages me from giving this a 5 star review is that the lives system has a counter where you start out with 4 lives, then if you lose on the level, it has a 15min cooldown to restore that life. ✓ Absolutely love it, plenty of room for improvementsGonna make this quick- the game is awesome, looks great, I haven't had any noticeable bugs as of writing this. This game has a lot potential, but it's still unpolished; black market stuff costs way too much (should be 1 credit, since it would mean an item per sector completed, instead of having it cost a dollar each), plasma weapons need to be toned down in damage, bosses need to have more designs, ships need to have personal upgrades (like upgrading the basic gun to have more shots, higher ROF, more speed, which would show on the ship so they would also be visible upgrades) there needs to be higher amounts of money gained from higher levels (I still earn roughly the same as I did in level 1 in level 7), there needs to be ships that can be bought with gems and you also need to be able to try their weapons and abilities out, there needs to be a shop for weapons and gear, items should have different upgrade paths, ships should be customizable, there needs to be a difficulty marker for each level, levels need to have a progress bar, missiles need to be destructible projectiles, and finally, give us different types of lasers like emp and plasma. ✓ The greatest, most unique space shooter appLove this game. I'll give it 5 stars. Some of my generally very mild complains and/or suggestions include the following: the background art of the stages always appear the same from one chapter to the next minus a change in color tint perhaps. Not too big of a deal. Then that seemingly unnecessary persistent connection that seems to be popular in so many apps these days. Bigger deal, still not the end of the world lol. Lastly, sometimes it won't connect at all, even when my internet connection is perfect, but this isn't that often, really. Offline play should be included, it's one of a few faults that modern apps are including these days almost universally, for whatever reason. Keep the updates coming PLEASE! Seems to have been awhile since a significant content update. Hope the developers haven't stopped progress in developing new content, unless they are working on a sequel coming soon of course then keep it up! lol. Anyway I love the game, very unique, many weapons, ships, stages, ongoing story that seems compelling Enough for me so far. I always wonder what's going to happen next. Just only one major problem at first the game on my iphone 4 had some odd problem that the enemy would float off screen I though this was normal. Then the bosses floated off screen resulting in me being unable to hit them so I had to restart the level. Was a minor problem, until later levels this occurred at an around 80% of the time resulting in an impossible to beat level. Also the game scales harshly by sector 7 the difficulty rises to severely when compared to the jumps between sectors previously. ✓ Great game, with some obvious flaws and bugsI love this game, although, there is a few things that I dislike and would be happy if you fixed them; elites, if you're constantly holding on the screen, you're always shooting. And I always seem to shoot the elites of off the edge of the screen and then they don't come back, which means I can't finish the level and have to quit and waste a life, could you please fix this pesky problem? And now to how the lives work, You only get 4 lives, and it takes about 15 minutes to regenerate 1. So while I play, I tend to hit the elite of off the edge of the screen a lot. So I end up wasting lives and then having to wait for an hour to waste them again. What I'd like to happen is for you to add an extra life and/or make it 10 minutes to wait instead of 15. New subject; When playing you can come across cargo containers which you can blow up to get gems, a power up & a cargo box, occasionally you can come across two of these containers, although you don't get another cargo box, why is this? could you please fix this? 4.5/5 ⭐️.Version: 1.0.9
✓ Worth a downloadVery good game. I really enjoy having a quick go every day but it could do with a few tweaks. First of all thank you for nerfing the enemy missiles, it was needed. The stunt mine missions could be redesigned a bit as the mines often go off the screen making it impossible to avoid. The daily reward is a bit low so perhaps adding a consecutive daily reward would indeed be more 'rewarding'. Something like if you play the game at least once every day for a week then you get a free cargo box on Sunday and well as the daily reward on each day as before. Permanent ship upgrades would also be a nice feature. Things like increasing the number of items you can have equipped or a perk which slows down enemies slightly etc. each for £0.69. The Photon Sweep Laser is not quite centred properly, they fire to the right a bit. Please fix this as it annoys me XD. The game is still fantastic without these. The art style is spot on for iOS, the sounds are crisp and the wide range of enemies and items stop it feeling repetitive. If any of my suggestions were added then I would rate 5 star. ✓ Outstanding GameThis is one of my favorite games, the pacing is fine, the story still has my attention on sector 61, and despite being so small, the ships are sick. My only complaint is that this game hasn’t been updated in two years, but does it honestly need it? Refreshing the app to get the bounty and cargo missions nets you really quick loot and like every 10th run you get a secret item. ✓ Still strong after yearsSuddenly wanted to revisit this game since I played it 8 years ago, turned out it still beat the latest space shooter games in the App Store. There is a simple plot and characters dedicated to the game title. Each character even has its own illustration. Though the plot is not important to the game, it does make the game more enjoyable than just a plain shooter game. The gaming is creative. Enemy drones move around a lot with bullets from different angles. The HP bar is nice so you don’t die too easily. Upgrading system is nicely balanced, you will be more capable against enemy fleets with weapon upgrades, but you won’t get crazy bullet showers that overpower the enemy. Not to mention, the jet itself can be upgraded with in-game money. However, as it progresses, there’re downsides that make the game not as fun. The game stages can be quite repetitive. And earning money takes way too long just to buy one upgrade. Also, the offset between the jet and your finger is quite close and can’t be adjusted, it can be difficult to play along with this setting. While other new space shooters are poorly balanced with overpowering upgrades, almost static enemy fleets, poor graphic designs and UI, this game is relatively creative and brings me lots of fun. Though the game can’t be searched without typing the exact title, it still stands out in the crowd..Version: 1.5.3

✓ Back for the 3rd timeI'm back just wanted to say great game and I still think you should make these improvements: first make black market stuff cheaper maybe 1 credit. To even out the black market stuff being cheaper, you need to make the bounty hunts give you 1 credit, the cargo mission boxes need to be opened with gems and the daily reward turns into gems (at the end of the week the daily reward returns to 1 credit, but only if you collected the reward each day and only for 1 day). Not only should you make black market cargo cheaper you should also add new black market cargo, let me explain. Make more expensive cargo, but they must guarantee a certain type of item examples: cargo box that costs 1 credit guarantees a rare item, cargo box that costs 3 credits guarantee a super rare item ect. Also bounty hunts need be easier: remove the elites you have to battle. Also add a transfer market: where you can transfer credits into gems and vise versa. Also reduce the difficulty of some ships example: lazer beam support needs to lose the shield. Add an option where you can buy ships with gems (for those who spend a lot of credits and save a lot of gems) Finally add a multiplayer mode where it is pvp and coop.(player vs. player) and (cooperative battle). ✓ Would be perfect...I really like this game, it has varied weapons, ships, and the mechanics work really well. there is a great skill based mentality to it, where you feel as if you are getting better. That all said, I don't understand this concept of free games that you them have to pay in game for additional items/playtime/unlocks. At first I didn't mind having to wait in between lives restoring, I also don't mind the extra ships costing, but to have to pay to unlock a chest that was earn't during a mission is just confusing. ✓ Suggestions and commentsVery fun once you get a decent ship and some items. My first suggestion is to make a cores to credits conversion, so that after you buy all of the core ships you can still use the cores for something. My second suggestion is to add more ships! After you get the core ships, anvindr, and the raikou (core ships plus 35 credit ships), the other ones are underwhelming. In other words add more late game stuff. Just a general note, regular crates are almost entirely useless, even in very late stages. The only usable accessories in the regular crates are the guns that give a chance for regular bullets to stun, which you then pair with a ship like the Akama for stun locks. It would be cool to make credits and regular crates a little more relevant..Version: 1.5.3

✓ Abominable Space Shooter!I read some of the other reviews and I do not understand their complaints. It is shooter with RPG style stats. You can get credits and bounty quickly by completing bounty hunt missions and cargo missions which are plentiful. Once you save enough credits (which does not take long), you can unlock stronger ships. There are so many ships to choose from and they have a variety of special weapons and stat bonuses. Also, the reactors are powerful and are crucial for victory. The raid missions are fun and give you power cores which unlock some of the best ships in the game. The bounty hunt and cargo missions get progressively harder as you unlock more sectors so a good strategy is to play these missions early on to collect credits, bounty, ships, and rare items. Then once you become more powerful, beat a few more sectors, then play more of the side missions again so you can become even stronger. Repeat this process and you will progress throughout the game like a blood thirsty falcon. Visually, the game is stunning. The weapon effects are awesome, the sound is strong, and the gameplay is intense. The screen is always filled with a variety of unique and great looking enemy weapons. The bosses and their weapons are wild and their music is intense. Another great aspect in the game is the story line. The game contains dialogue throughout the entire campaign which is witty and entertaining, and the story itself is intriguing. The characters are well developed and interact in interesting manners. I am absolutely stunned by players saying that they couldn't get past the first 6-10 sectors. There are 100 sectors! I am equally as surprised by how many players said that the developers are greedy and how they force you to spend money to progress throughout the game. This is simply not true. The time it takes to collect credits and bounty is reasonable if you play both the campaign and side missions. Plus, you must get better items and ships as you progress throughout the game. It does not take too much time to get and upgrade items that will help you progress through the next few sectors. It takes a while to beat the entire game because there are so many missions and tiers of items. Whenever you do need to get better items, it does not take too long. The side missions are fun, change as you progress, and help you get better items and credits pretty quickly. Plus, the items get better and never get old because there are always new types of awesome stats and weapons. A smart strategy is too equip a combination of items and ships that have a chain-link effect (powerful stats that power other powerful stats). I don't mean to degrade these gamers, but I hope to get more people to understand the strategies needed to conquer this amazing game. I never had to grind much or spend money, and even though its challenging, I never got stuck on one level for a long time. More people would enjoy it if they would understand the proper strategies and appreciate the myriad of RPG style items. There are an incredible amount of amazing stats, weapons, and missions. How could you not enjoy this game? There are so many gameplay elements. The developers deserve more credit. This is the most underrated vertical shooter. Anyway, I love this game. It is perfect and no other vertical shooter is like it. I appreciate the compelling story line, awesome items and stats, myriad of ships and weapons, great sound and graphics, and very smooth gameplay mechanics. ✓ Low expectations initiallyI really didn't expect much from this game initially as I downloaded several other space shooter type games, re-initiating myself into the genre after many years break. It slowly has become more and more intriguing and I am hooked now. I am not a P2P or P2W gamer and like everyone else says, the game is very hard the first few nodes. I had to replay missions frequently in order to buy the crates and upgrade items. However, you get credits for getting past nodes and also for watching ads (which I kind of like), which on the weekends lets you watch an ad about once every hour. Once I got my first credit-purchased ship (the green one that shoots shot-gun rounds and self-heals) I quickly began advancing nodes (on 13 currently). The game mechanics are challenging, the storyline is actually pretty comedic and compelling, the secret missions are a great way to get lots of $ and rare crates at reduced rates, and the raid encounters are fun without being too hard. Plus other pilots join from time to time to help you, though I think they're AI controlled. I understand there are 100 levels so I am wondering if I can get through them all without getting burnt out but for now I'm holding strong. The only complaint is the game is glitchy sometimes and I have to perma-exit the game to fix it, but its a quick loading game..Version: 1.1.5

✓ Very fun, addicting shooterI had low expectations... I found this game on a whim...used to play Sky Force for a similar game, but this game is a lot better. It's surprisingly deep and challenging. The item hunt aspect ads a lot of replay value to it and a sort of dungeon crawler feel. You always get excited when you find some cargo and unlock it to find out whats inside. The game is very challenging...by the 6th or 7th world i found myself franticallt darting around the screen trying to avoid missles and stuff...the graphics are a good blend of oldschool with some colorful backgrounds and effects. The sound effects and music are also very good. Good to play with headphones. The RPG elements come in the form of upgrading items, ans combining 4 different gear slots with custom ships that also have unique abilities...its surprisingly deep and satisfying yet also still simple enough to play in small spurts and still make progress. I also found its easy enough to progress without spending any real life money. I occasionally hit a wall, and have to play through a previous world or two again to earn money to upgrade my items more, but so far its never been tedious or excessive. I usually get one or two more upgrades and then get back to progressing further in the game. I am not in Sector 11 and still having fun. Random challenges and events spawning on the map in precious sectors ad variety and challenge as well. Great game guys, hopw u continue to update it!.Version: 1.1.5

✓ Very unique. Great for those who are good at shootersThis is one of the best top down shooters for the ios besides space invaders infinity gene. I love the unique style of this game as it combines a shooter with an rpg styled upgrade system. The graphics are nice too look at but can make it hard to tell whats going on at times. The added relative controls offer a better feel to the game and allow you to see the fighter instead of being covered by your thumb. The game can get frustrating at times, mainly at bosses that seem to be a little over powered. The game never manages to get too hard as over time you'll find better items, upgrade those items, and get better at dodging enemy fire. One specific feature I like and hope to be expanded upon is the surprise assistance from other players fighters. This not only makes the game more fun but gives a good reason to play as often as possible especially if you're stuck on a boss or level. I hope that a full multiplayer section will be made sooner or later, that would really make the game fun. The music is decent, I do like how the games music follows a main theme and fades into variations over time, It would be nice to have more themes that the game can use with the main theme during different sections and levels. ✓ Almost FlawlessFrom the moment I tapped on the app I could tell the game had high potential and I wouldn't be able to put it down, great and difficult gameplay the app has to over. The only flaw I found were a few bugs such as inventory items not showing up, sector and ship problems like nothing showing up or basic shapes not doing much (running on IPhone 5s). ✓ Room to improveIt is a great game but there are a few bugs and loads of room to improve gameplay - offline vs online gameplay because server lag is very annoying - mini boss battles. Sometimes, attacking a mini boss, only to have it leave the map, means that you lose a life because you can no longer kill the mini boss, which doesn't allow you to progress, which means you fail important missions or secret missions (most annoying bug for me) - Double tap to activate the reactor changes your flight position so a better mechanism is maybe two fingers or change it - items need to become more powerful. Even though the aim is not to get hit in the first place while dealing large amounts of damage, the difficulty of barely scratching mini bosses whereas they deliver almost 1 shot kills makes the game a bit too challenging - no energy system. Great! Live system, understandable. Having to wait 15 minutes for one life is quite tedious for some (I don't mind as much) but with the mini boss bug, it becomes very irritating - not sure how this would go but maybe a leveling system on the character or the ship might allow different builds (have a reset system for this would be even better) for different bosses or styles All in all, great game with a lot of potential for more.Version: 1.0.9

When in the items tab, it's very draining to always have to click an item to see it's stats, click exit, then click another item to see their stats, with the annoying delay for when the screen swipes left and right in the process as well.
