Also please can we have a 'select all' button when gift giving. I have a lot of neighbours and it is annoying having to tick them individually to send them a gift. ✓ Great fun, been entertained for weeksI have really enjoyed playing this game. It's great fun to build up your restaurant from scratch there is also lots of new things to unlock along the way so I haven't found myself bored and mission keep you interested and also give you the boost to actually want to play the game! Forget checking your texts in the morning, I check my restaurant. The only I fault I have with this app is the cruise ship missions. They are impossible to finish without gems (which you can build throughout the game but it's time consuming) which you would probably need to buy. While these missions are on there is no way to opt out and it also puts a hold on gaining money and completing other quests. I'd suggest making these easier or giving players the option to quit mission..Version: 1.7.9
✓ Awesome game but the notification glitchI’ve played this game before and it’s pretty good. I do well on cooking and serving. I leave the game for a while (1 day or so) and there’s just a few notifications like less than 100. After a few hours it’s still at the same rate. This has happened at least 3 times. After leaving the game for a good while it’s less than 100 notifications. A few hours later, I check on it and… OVER 2 THOUSAND NOTIFICATIONS SHOW UP FOR THIS GAME! I CHECK MY NOTIFICATION LIST, IT SHOWS JUST FEW AND I DON’T DELETE THE MESSAGES! THEY JUST APPEAR OUT OF THE BLUE FOR NO REASON! I CHECK ON THE GAME AND SEE NOTHING WRONG! AND FOR SOM REASON THIS HAPPENED MORE THAN ONCE! I don’t know why it’s like this. Keep in mind I’m using an Apple device to play the game. I have a screenshot ready too. ✓ Great game with a glitchI love this game! I’ve been playing all of the story games since a kid, this one it’s a huge step up from the original. I like how food doesn’t waste, and how you buy decor themes instead of individually buying the different color. I also enjoy buying your ingredients and having more communication with the “community”. My only couple of things to mention, when I first log in to serve any dishes that are ready, I will click on it and it will move to the counter, and then glitch and go back to being ready to serve. This only happens when I first open the game and seems to happen no matter how long I wait to click on them. I also think you should be able to have more tables sooner. I have a lot of costumers who leave, but thankfully there’s no more ratings. Overall an amazing and super fun game I think I will continue to play these game my whole life..Version: 1.8.1

The reason I give it 4 stars not 5 is because I don’t like how you need internet to play the game. ✓ Love the game but.....Love this game but it has stuck at level 60 for months and you can’t extend till level 80. They make all the gem recipes cook on the same stoves so you can’t earn many gems back. Just wish you could keep on growing after level 60 and the cruise items are just repeated nothing new from them. They could easy make more stoves to make gems or expand the levels but seems they won’t. Saying all that I enjoy the game a lot..Version: 1.8.1

✓ Need new things!I really do enjoy this game. Your food will not rot. You can play with and help your neighbors, but you can also complete quests with out their help. My biggest complaint is that their is nothing new being added. The “new” quests are reusing decorations from previous quests. No new decoration added. Come on! Freshen things up! I know there are items that are really cool that have not been available since I started playing a couple of years ago. You could at least re-introduce those. I’ve seen butterfly tables, St. Patrick decorations, and wall paper that I would love to earn or buy, but with each new quest, the only thing new is a dish to earn diamonds. I have enough of those new dishes. I want new stoves and decor. Please....Version: 1.8.1

✓ Good game but some things need to be fixed or improvedGood game but a few things need to be fixed or changed. First of all, I hate the notification I get that tells me I have left the stove on when I haven’t played in awhile. I don’t think anyone with anxiety or OCD appreciates that. I also sometimes earn stamps but they don’t appear in my inventory. I receive gems occasionally and have not spent any of them yet they seem to disappear until I have 28 gems again. I have also seen the task icon completely disappear and I have to shut down and restart the game to get it back. When rotating an object, I wish I could rotate it in place even when there isn’t enough room, and THEN I can move it to where there is room. Because there will be a place it will fit once it is rotated but there is no room in its current location when rotated so it won’t let me. Lastly, there are way too many catering events and I wish there was a way to cancel one once you have started one, if you change your mind. Otherwise it is a nice game..Version: 1.8.1

✓ When are things going to change?So far, loving the change from the old classic restaurant story...the little people coming and going is really cute and makes more fun and interesting to play...just wish that when you expand, the space was bigger and that it didn't require so much to do it....and why do the appliance cost so much when you don't make that much money with what you cook and sell...might need to do a little adjusting to make it a little more even....also, why can't you sell the excess from the pantry instead of discarding the extra you don't need...that could help earn extra money and what's with not getting the parts you need for upgrades or the other things you need like ginger & vanilla, WHY are so hard to get?! And why is it that when I buy things from the market I don't get them?! ✓ Absolutely loved restaurant story 1 & this version?I absolutely loved restaurant story 1 & I would still play it however I want to try this one & I doubt many people still play the first one as one of my favourites were to tip other restaurants & receive them myself. I love this version however I do wish (and I'm sure this was in the old version) that you could gift your friends/neighbours food dishes as that was really helpful when you had no food to serve. I also really liked the old one because of the many styles you could choose for your cafe & how funky you could make it look. I know this sounds a bit silly but I have only just realised that my tables have been tipped by the sparkle that comes up but in the old one it was a coin, which personally I think makes more sense and is easier to see. But that's just me. Lastly I've only seen levels up to 60 only on this game and I really hope before I reach lvl 60 that the game is updated and there are way more levels ahead & way more challenges. I really don't like to think that the last lvl is 60 and that's everything done. But overall I'm really enjoying it so far, the butchers, veg shop etc are all new and are nice things to add however i wish you didn't have to wait 2 hours just for 2 pieces of beef etc. I do think it would be a little more helpful to have more at a time or less time to get it again - Thankyou😊.Version: 1.7.9

✓ Don’t judge I’m just a kidSo when you’ve waited however long for an ingredient or something cooking, under a minute you can speed it up. I have one idea for this and one problem. My problem is when the time goes under a minute for the market and you speed it up, it doesn’t speed, it just goes around and around in a circle. My idea for this is for level 10, speed for 1 minute, for level 20, speed for 2 minutes, level 30, 3 minutes, level 40, 4 minutes, level 50, 5 minutes, and level 60, 10 minutes. That would help a lot. Especially if u have a busy day. I still want to get my ingredients! Anyway, I hope u consider this. I really do like the game and it keeps me on my toes during this pandemic. I also think there should be a place where you can get materials to expand restaurant and build stuff. Honestly, it takes at least 5 weeks for me to get 10 blueprints. What the heck? Sometimes you don’t even come at the right time for cid to give u stuff. Maybe they could come in the market, or your could trade a blueprint in for 15000 coins. Idk, just wondering. ✓ Needs a few tweaks.First of all, I love video games. I have played hundreds of them. This game is great for what it is, but there needs to be more ways to earn items like nails than to wait for the handy man to come in and drop them or to pay for them. It makes it really hard to do anything without paying. Even if I play 24/7 during a catering event, there's no way I'm going to deliver everything and earn the recipe without paying. It even asks for things that I can't even make yet (seafood shop not open) so it wastes my valuable time. I'd consider spending money if it would slightly help me, not if I HAVE to in order to win anything. It’s been addictive but I do have some suggestions: please allow other ways to earn gems, maybe by visiting other restaurants. Also, I wish that after you’ve mastered a recipe that it would lower the time or offer an advantage. Also, there needs to be other ways to get vanilla, you need to offer it and other herbs at the market! And finally, why can’t you sell certain decorations?? I see other restaurants that have certain decorations that I want and they’re not available. I would like more flooring choices such as grass or water! Maybe we could trade? Yes appliances and upgrades cost a lot of money but if you're patient you eventually unlock recipes that make lots of money so the price of the equipment doesn't become such a large problem. I do agree that the amount stuff required for upgrading stores, the garden, and the restaurant space is a little ridiculous. Maybe the handyman could give more supplies more often? Also if you take the time there's a free gem option by watching a 30 sec video. These gems can be used to purchase supplies for upgrading. I especially love this element of the game, rearranging my restaurant with seasonal decor that comes with the quests. All in all, the best game of its type. This is probably an unpopular view, but I quite enjoy not levelling up too quickly. Yes, it is slightly frustrating waiting for one hammer or enough coins to expand or unlock a new appliance, however, if it was too easy I'd race through this game in a few weeks and then become bored. And for anyone saying waiting times are too long, I suggest they try some other games out there. I've come across games that have much worse times, even one with a 6 month timer coughsimpsonsgamecough. Only one small gripe... Here’s one tip: when you start the game you start with 20 gems and its best that you buy the 1000 coins for 10 gems then you will have lots of money and not have to worry about running out of money. Just a thing I TrueDepth and it works really well. Tip #2: don’t keep on buying the 2 coin and more at the beginning of the game when your just starting just keep making eggs it cost less and the all the people dont mind it then once you feel you have enough money then you can start making other things. ✓ Very addictiveLove playing this however to get beyond level 60 will take eternity as the figure to get is over 999,000 which when I managed to get to level 60 with under 100,000 I think the developers need to re assess this aspect, as I think this will put people off as I have noticed they seem to stop playing once they reach this level for a while and can't progress..Version: 1.7.9
✓ Great game!I absolutely love this game! I took maybe 6 months out, came back and I still love it. The only negative for me is it crashes a lot, but then I am playing it on a 1st generation tablet lol. If they do update I hope they don't update me out of the game. It's just fun and working out what to cook and when makes it more interesting, rather than cooking anything and it means nothing. ✓ I always come backI have been playing this game regularly for about four years. One of my favorite things is the relaxed pace of the game. Some cooking games will spoil your food if you don’t come back by a certain time. That stresses me! I like a game that is there for me when I’m ready. The main reason I take time off is I get tired of spending months trying to raise enough money through cooking to complete the next task/mission. I don’t usually buy gems so I eventually get bored because I can’t level up or complete missions. Maybe offer some other way to boost or quickly earn money? Which in my opinion, I think you should update way more because it looks more “updated” you could say but it really isn’t, and It has a better style in my opinion then Bakery Story 1 and Restaurant Story 1. I still love the original games, but I find it creepy how the style in the 1st games how the people smile so creepily like this: 😃 (something like that). ✓ I like this game! Just one concern...I really like this game. You can play it at your own pace for the most part (aside from the ship catering challenges where you really have to be on top of things to finish). I continuously played this game for over a year on my previous phone, but needed to create a new game with my new phone because my previous game wasn't saved on a cloud service. The only thing I don't like now as opposed to the past is that there aren't smaller challenges anymore in between ship catering challenges. I remember a year ago there would be additional challenges outside of catering which made the game more interesting and fun to play. There are the daily challenges now for stamps, but those are pretty easy to complete. I wish you all would bring back the challenges you used to have..Version: 1.7.9

✓ Good game for a 'grinder'If you want a nice free game that you can pick up, admire the nice graphics, doodle about in and then put down until later, this is really great. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the occasional bugs and social reward scheme - the rewards for which are so small it's not worth the time. As lots have mentioned the special season or ship challenges are very difficult to complete but it doesn't detract from the day to day simple pleasure in the grind of the daily challenges. It's a nice game, and I like that some rewards are linked to other games in the Storm 8 catalogue. Though fantasy creatures aren't my thing, playing solitaire is, so its nice to earn rewards for one whilst playing the other. Also the advertising in this game is a 'choose to watch for reward' which I love being able to have that choice..Version: 1.7.9

✓ Can never finish caters eventsThe only real problem I have with this game is the catering events. I enjoy doing them but the time is just not realistic to complete it. You give a quest to complete within 20 days but you only have 7-9 days to turn in foods. As we all have to sleep work and do other things while waiting for foods to cook and ingredients to reset in the stores. I almost always seem to never make the dead line I normally get the first 4 to 5 prizes. If you are going to give a quest to complete within 20 days atlas the give us 14 days to complete turning in the foods. I refuse to spend real money in these games..Version: 1.7.9

✓ Restaurant story twoI played restaurant story one for years. I just started playing. Rs2. A couple small things that I don’t like are trying to pick up the tips which are hearts in 2. Also, retrieving tips from my own shop is annoying. It was much easier with the coins as they are bigger and you don’t have to change your screen. Size to tap. I think managing the food is entertaining. I don’t have any idea how to play these side games and trying to find any answers in the forum is very difficult for specific questions. I have asked questions, but I get no answer. They don’t seem to be extra doors for sale as in rs1. That was one of the best features-being able to have two lines coming in and out. I really like that you pay once to change your design rather than having to re-buy every tile or wall. That was a great addition. The neighbor situation is much easier now that you just need to push a button, it’s also easy to hide that neighbor request for yourself. That alleviates people being inundated with neighbor requests. All in all, this is still a great game. You have to admit, though, it would take a lifetime to play if you’re trying to play for free..Version: 1.8.1
