✓ Why must you pay?I completed all of hello in advanced mode and then to get to level three and up, I had to pay. Why? Over all, it was a pretty good learning French app but it would be awesome if you could get rid of the way that you make people pay to get level 3 and on..Version: 6.5.4

Don’t waste your time 😐 Edit: For the developer response, most of the content is not free. Only the first few lessons are free, and the daily lessons are practically nothing. I think you can make enough ad revenue by putting in ads instead of charging a crazy amount to unlock any of the content. Apps always overprice their things. ✓ Confuses words and too American.I've been using this app to revise my French. It's too American. Translates bathroom as toilettes. Offers two words for floor i.e. sol and plancher. In fact sol means ground and plancher is floor. Must be very confusing for someone who knows no french..Version: 5.6

✓ App makes mistakes and no way to correctI am an advanced French student who merely wishes to improve my pronunciation but despite putting in my level, the app starts me out at a beginner level and then tells me 1) my haricots for beans is wrong 2) then shows me the correct answer, haricots! Bah humbug, I think this does not bode well for any app and I threw out my subscription on the first day of just the trial. Not trustworthy and I would not buy it..Version: 7.5.11

✓ SubscriptionI hate it when apps lock almost everything and you have to pay for a subscription to use those features. I got to do a few lessons, and then EVERY. SINGLE. THING. LEFT. Is locked! All I want is I do is learn French! Geez! Unless you are willing to pay a lot of money, this app is useless. I’m only giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star because the few lessons that I could actually take used good techniques and the robotic pronunciation is better than some other language apps I use. I also liked the feature that you could have conversations with the robot. I would actually be willing to pay a subscription if it was cheap, for example $4.99/month or so, but this app is wanting around $10 a month, or $3 a week. That’s going to end up being over $100 dollars a year. I’m in my teenage years so I can’t afford that kind of money. This may work for someone older who doesn’t have to spend their money wisely and keep track of what they buy, but they are asking too much money just to use this app. I don’t mind if you lock a couple of things for premium user to have access to, but it just completely infuriates me when I’m only able to spend 10 minutes using an app and then there is nothing else I can do with it besides doing the same 5 lessons over and over again. ✓ Good learning but..This app is really helpful in learning a new language however my only complaint is that after you do a week straight of learning & you earn the weekly quiz if it's not completed by the end of that day you lose the opportunity. It would be nice if these remained unlocked to completed anytime if you completed a whole week..Version: 5.6
✓ Not impressedI appreciate it is trying to be more interactive but the development of the app only scratched the surface compared to Rosetta Stone or Duolingo. The worst part is there're too many mistakes and translation excises are kind stupid. I am not impressed by the app..Version: 4.2
✓ Liked it better when there was conversation practiceWhen I got this there was conversation practice at the end of each module. They’ve taken that out & now the only speaking practice you get is some sentences..Version: 7.1.13

✓ MisleadingI didn’t realise this wasn’t free until it charged my iTunes account! Also cancelling subscription isn’t that easy and ‘unsubscribe’ option isn’t provided within the app. Overall it’s an ok app but it has lots of mistakes for example: voice doesn’t always match the text!.Version: 7.1.13
