✓ Translation errorsThe app will give you a Bulgarian phrase and a lot of the time it does not directly translate to what they’re saying it means in English. Sometimes they paraphrase or simply use the wrong English word for it altogether. I live with my in-laws and I feel like I have to constantly ask for their input to see if the app is wrong or not. Low reliability. Someone who fluently speaks both English and Bulgarian needs to vet this app... But I’m still using it because it’s the only resource I can find to learn for now..SariahsisVersion: 7.1.13

✓ Not correctI’ve been learning Bulgarian using this app. It has allowed me to learn quite a lot although I found that a lot of the times they were giving incorrect translations and saying a word means one thing when it actually means something else. The only reason I know this is because I know someone who is fluent in Bulgarian and he’s confirmed this. I’ve been paying for a while but felt like it was over priced to pay for something that isn’t even correct, I hoped then that I would still be able to do the everyday lessons however they only let you do the present day lesson and none of the others when not paying which is a bummer. ✓ Very disappointed with the change!I used t love this app. I have used it for over a year but now they have changed the speaker. It sounds like a computer generated mans voice that does not speak the words properly and also some of the lessons are cut off. Really disappointed in the change. ✓ Poor Quality CheckingI used this app for about 5 lessons and in two lessons translations were wrong. Not even close with the words they were saying or were listed. Very poor for a subscription service. ✓ MixedI like the style of the app and the idea... but it just doesn’t build understanding. It goes from matching words to suddenly having to understand whole sentences. It doesn’t repeat basics. I just don’t find it useful to build sequential understanding like Duolingo does. I taught myself German with Duo but with Mondly, I can’t learn the basics because it is just not sequential enough. ✓ What am I paying for?I purchased the premium subscription of this app as I really enjoyed the free trial and really want to learn Bulgarian. The subscription payment was successful and is showing in my Apple ID, however nothing has changed in the app and I can’t access anything more than the first stage in the free trial. ✓ Warning! Rip-off!!!The app itself is OK. (Just ok, not great, but OK) However if you agree to the free 1 week free trial which is an in-app thing, it then AUTOMATICALLY subscribed you to an annual charge of £8!!!!! I had no idea this was going to occurs till they just charged me £8 :-( I want my money back and this subscription removed right away!
