✓ Not sure what happenedI’ve been playing Fairway for sometime now and love playing the game. I joined one of their groups that play as a team to get more rewards. The other day McDivot put on our message board that they removed someone from our team for cheating then said something weird about it was just a test and to disregard. In the meantime, we lost a member because they thought someone cheated! Not happy to lose members and I honestly don’t know how you can cheat in this game! So stop posting stuff like that because you’re losing us members & costing us prizes. If they really cheated, remove them. We will just think they left the team. I do think if someone is on your team and does not play for a month or two or whatever, we should somehow be able to request they be removed so we can add new players..Version: 1.40.2

✓ Lots of fun, at firstThe game is well executed and easy to control, however at a point with in a few days, you have to start spending fairly big bucks to keep clubs in your bag, and the courses get harder unless you have the clubs. An occasional free club is given away. By the way, don’t start the game for the first time late at night. There are two prizes that expire every 24 hours until you redeem them. If you’re not in the game when they mature, you loose them. Sadly they’re like any other Big Fish game, they’re out to make big bucks..Version: 1.23.0

✓ Tiresome and repetitiveI’ve been playing this game on and off for many years. The early stages of it are exciting. The longer you play it the more repetitive and illogical it becomes. Believe me I’m on the 1,000+ game level. You may think I’m loving it being a player on a level that far. But I’ve actually found it to be very frustrating. This game has the potential to be first class. What lets it down is the lack of ingenuity and originality for the gamers that continue with it for longer. Games become facsimiles of each other and over time just become harder and actually become more and more ridiculous to achieve success in. I can’t count the times I’ve deleted the game to then add it again to just start from the beginning again. That way at least for 50 odd games it’s pleasurable and meaningful to play without any ridiculous logarithms put in place without any thought to the player. This game seriously needs updating to suit the player. Or intelligently to suit individual players with different skills and abilities. It’s a shame as I love playing it up until the point it becomes impossible to progress. And then you’re forced to spend money on progressing. That’s a something I will not do. ✓ It’s As Though Being Penalized to NOT Join Club PlayMAKE IT AN OPTION TO OPT OUT OF CLUB PLAY. Am I misunderstanding the accumulation process?… Mostly enjoy the game, because it’s for personal relaxation and stress release…It’s not to play for social interaction or to challenge others…so I choose not to join Club play. Unless I’m misunderstanding the accumulation process…it’s consequently especially frustrating that It appears a portion of my efforts to earn points/ rewards in the daily games, and especially the various treasure hunts, are being accumulated in the Club totals, which even though still show as available in lower right corner, actually are not available..unless I chose to join Club play to redeem those. Even more frustrating is that periodically those are wiped from the Club accumulations, so the effort to earn those rewards is down the drain. ✓ Great game with a golf twist that’s funBasic Solitaire, in my opinion, is boring and not very challenging. The developers have made this game challenging, entertaining and addictive. I’ve spent very little money and don’t understand the complaints. Like every new game, it takes time to learn and understand all the options and how to get your rewards and freebies. Actually, the instructions about the stamps should be clearer. I played a while until I understood that if there is a number on the stamp in the lower right hand corner that a stamp was available to redeem. The developers are super generous as they give you gold bucks and Midas clubs everyday just by watching their movie adds. This is not a problem, it just takes time, about 30 seconds per add. And actually some of the movies/adds are entertaining and the graphics are remarkable. I’ve also found other interesting games by watching these adds..Version: 1.25.0

✓ An unexpected twist (edit of a previously negative review)Unexpectedly, all of the problems i listed in my original review (below) have seemingly been fixed in a recent update. it’s as if i simply had the worst luck ever for a few weeks and as soon as i ported my account over to a new device everything changed for the better. i don’t really trust that it was simply bad luck on my part but i suppose time will tell. hopefully this means that the devs listened to the complaints and fixed things this game has gotten significantly harder in the last update and i am now spending in-game cash faster than i can make it, the random cards are stacked way more negatively than they used to be and the new hazards make the game way harder to play without making in-app purchases. it is pretty clear that this has happened to try and force players to make in-app purchases but all it is doing is driving people away. i like this game and i want to see it returned to how it was..Version: 1.41.0

I am certain there are two teams of writers: one that is lovely, and one that is evil. Recently, I have been experiencing a glitch with the sound in the game. On the intro screen, once I hit start the theme music dwindles to nothing and I soon have no sound at all. Sometimes I am able to fix this by lowering and then raising the subcategories of sound in the options menu, or by closing out of the app and re-opening it. ✓ Fun goes to more moneyI really liked this game, fun, challenges, different ways to accrue golf gold, but the game play changes. Game play is not more difficult, but as you play it requires that specialty clubs both irons and midis, be used to compleat the challenges. Many challenges cannot be won without using irons. And a golf bag of irons is costly. I don’t want to spend $40 every couple of weeks to keep stocked up, wins in game do not cover the cost of specialty items. If there was in fact a one in eight chance to get the card, I should have gotten it many times today. I got it twice. I got to the place to choose a card at least 50 times. That can't be a fair draw. Update: within a week of this review, I got a 25,000 day when I made considerable points. Since then, that challenge has not come back. Another similar challenge, Pro Stars, quit about a week or two ago. I love tripeaks style solitaire, and my dad likes golf, so originally this was so I could understand a little better about golf and play a solitaire game. Like some older reviews I got frustrated with card combinations that made it difficult to impossible to win a game. But the play has improved. You earn extra cards frequently for good and great shots during play. Also when play is super difficult, the repeat game goes easier. Love the little extra game when you first open the app. I’d give this game 4 stars, but on Christmas Eve there was an sale on Midas clubs and I paid $1.99 for 30 clubs, but the Midas clubs were never delivered. ✓ Live this game BUT.....I will never make a cash purchase because when your dealing cards and get to last one it says buy more for 2000 coins and i accidentally hit it frequently because its right IN THE DRAW PILE and just like that your money is gone. i complained and no answer. (Below is the re-edit of the old review) When I first got my iPad, the old Fairway Solitaire (there was one before this version) was one of my favourite games, and I loved it! I did delete it a few times to make room for other apps, but I always came back. Last time I came back, the witty banter between the presenters was all but gone, nothing but silence and a bit of chatter from one guy, directly to me... ✓ Can’t. Stop. Playing.I downloaded this game after another game I was playing kept showing ads for it 😝 I never realized how addicting it would become. The app design itself is beautiful and clean. The music, sound effects and even the “announcer” each add to the appeal of this game. I think I love this game so much because unlike a lot of other in-app purchase games, you have unlimited lives instead of having to wait 30 minutes for a new life. So if you do poorly on a game, just restart! There’s enough challenges and bonus games to earn you cash and items, so there’s no reason to spend a penny playing. The game doesn’t feel rigged like other games I’ve played; they really give you great prizes. ✓ Rewards points reviewI enjoy playing, but wish the rewards were higher for finishing the game and earning stars. Perhaps instead of just 100 per star, it might be possible to earn 100 for the star and then another 10 points for each card left in your players stack at the end of each hole when you clear a hole with a perfect score. I know you get a stamp for the perfect score, but the odds of the stamp actually having much value are pretty low. You can get 50 or more of one stamp that then ends up expiring and that translates into one stamp for a current series of stamps. It would be nice to earn points slightly faster. ✓ This game is actually pretty greatIf you don’t have enough coins to get a new bag of clubs you will start to get them as you’re playing and you can get Midas clubs too! I was stuck on this level for what felt like forever and I turned the card and 100% serious it said that it would give me a perfect score for that round out of the blue! It seems like the game wants you to be good at it and instead of leaving you hanging when you need more clubs until you pay for money like most games it actually starts to give you them for free and of course you can watch a video for a free one as well. ✓ Recent changes are costly!I have been playing this game for many years. But over the last year or so, they have made it next to impossible to win without forking over a lot of money. You can only win a hole with 21 below par (or similar), free boosts for ads are very limited now, and the difficulty level is nuts. When I do spend money for coins, it seems that the cards don't come up at all, and in the blink of the eye, $20 down the drain. Even with all of this frustration, I still like playing the game. No Midas freebies, game has been completely wiped, a couple of times, now, and progress, and stamps have disappeared. Freezes up, constantly. Today on my Ipad I can buy 450,000 golf bucks for $99; however on my Ipad mini today I can buy 2,650,000 golf bucks for $99!!! Why the big major difference in price, and the price of your Midas clubs at 135 midas clubs for $99 on ipad vs 950 clubs for $99 on my mini is pretty cheap on ur part. I once bought (not that many weeks ago) like 2000 midas clubs for $99!! i am obviously resigned to playing on one device as it is the only one that hands out a bargain. Prices should be bargains if you really want people to play and continue and should be the same on all devices. ✓ Great game, highly addictive, but ...I’ve been playing this game on and off for a few years now. It’s highly addictive and satisfying on the easier courses and often frustrating on the tougher ones. But I always find myself coming back to it. The app itself is very slick and easy to use, however if I could ask for one improvement, please, please, please move the “extra 5 card” option away from the draw pile. I can’t tell you how many times I’m going through the draw pile and only to run out of cards (because my finger is obviously on the draw pile and can’t see the indicator) and then I accidentally draw 5 more cards and spend my bucks. Very frustrating or atleast put a confirmation on there to ask if you actually want 5 more cards. Other than that, keep up the good work 😃.Version: 1.41.0

✓ One of my favorite that I have been playing long timeI just downloaded this a bit long ago (forgot when lol) and kept playing almost everyday. First of all it doesn’t take a whole lot of time but can play as long as you want and can get rewards here and there. Second I’m not gonna lie. You need to either watch ads or buy some stuff but hey this is products. And once you get the hang of it, like when to use clubs, you don’t have to spend much money maybe you can watch ads in your spare time bc they don’t force you to watch on the spot. I really like that and find that very good actually stands out among all the greedy apps. And besides I love their talks about different countries or seasonal events or jokes. ✓ Finally a game with consistencyBeen playing for a few months now and I can honestly say that this is 1 of MAYBE 2 games that I can/do play everyday, multiple times of the day & for more than 30-45 mins at a time without getting bored or feeling like the game won’t stop cheating AND *always* has something diff to be done every single time I play. And of all games... ITS SOLITARE!
