✓ Great game but really buggyGood game with varying puzzle difficulty and variations to keep players interested. Really makes good use of dual storylines (kinda like Day of the Tentacle but not as intertwined) to keep the story moving and related to each other. The game however is kinda buggy on iOS 9.x and 10.x - will not launch when you have wifi/cellular data connection (so you have to airplane mode or disable wifi). Trying to switch between apps will disable manual save games and options (luckily auto save still works). If you exit the game and come back later then the entire game will not respond and you have to force quit and reload..Version: 2.3.10

✓ Crashes on load up screenYou know it really is a joke when a paid app, by a big developer who boast about the capability of this game cant even get it to work on some of the latest iOS hardware! Im running on a 16gb iPad Air 2, yet i cannot open without this crashing. Tried deleting then reinstalling and it still does the same, also as per comments I'm not the only one! This is the sort of crap that has made me go back to my Nintendo 3ds or consoles as this doesn't happen! ✓ Slow moving and linearI can appreciate many people will like this, it looks and sounds great, and I like the concept of two stories running parallel and being able to switch when you like, but in practice it is very very linear, it doesn't feel like you can do anything to effect the outcome of the story, and even within the limits of being a story told in an interactive format I didn't find the story engaging and frankly it is very slow moving. Probably something teenage girls / bookworms might enjoy, not for me though.Version: 2.3.10

✓ I’m having some problemsI’ve played this game a couple times before on my old iPad but when it unfortunately stopped working I had to get a new one. Now that I’ve finally bought the game again I was really excited to play it again but all it does is show the opening screen for a few seconds and then closes. ✓ I'm impressed by it glitches.I have been playing through the game for about a couple hours and I was at a spot were you have to have a certain tool (I read a couple of walkthroughs) and they all say you have to get it from some one but I never got it and I can't complete my mission! ✓ Bring back Lucas ArtsIf you ever played Sam & Max and similar adventures you will probably find this game as disappointing as I did. The graphics are cutesy, the problems are ridiculous. Some are very easy, others only complicated but never intellectually challenging. The story line is the usual surreal gibberish much loved by manga style productions. ✓ Great game until........I was enjoying this puzzle point and click until I got to the wiring puzzle. Does not contain logic. I thought I might be missing something so I looked at walk through. Of all the cheats I looked at (at least 5), not one could explain the logic behind this puzzle. It must come down to guessing and I do not enjoy guessing games. ✓ There’s a glitchHello; There’s a glitch in the game act 2 that makes it impossible to get through the story. NOTE SPOILERS AHEAD: when you have to catch up to the Hexipal to the trash chute, the Teleporter doesn’t get you there in time. ✓ Am I the only one that doesn’t get how this is fun or interesting?I downloaded this when it was featured recently in the App Store. It’s one of the apps that has perennially been on the lists of editor top picks, or best apps for this that and the other. The game does have some nice graphics but ... the game itself was tedious to me. Not boring or disinteresting...it was painful. I fully admit that I don’t know how this is supposed to be played. I ended up watching a dejected kid go through a daily routine that was making me cringe and there was no apparent escape for the first 5 minutes. Over and over and over. I get that this may have been deliberate, maybe the kid had an existential crisis but it felt like the existential crisis would infect me if I played much more. ✓ Good but not without flawsFirst, great graphics and interface, a hark back to the days of point and click that work. Story too is great with a genuine WTH moment in the middle. Unfortunately some of the later puzzles very obscure, especially the wires, and constant crashes in later stages render unplayable without reboots. Shame. ✓ Decent Adventure GameWell, finally completed the whole game and after a great first act the second act is quite a letdown. It's almost a complete retread of the first act. You basically backtrack on all the levels you previously visited in the first act but with the main characters swapped. The puzzles in the first act could be logically deduced but many of the puzzles in the second act can get very obscure. The ending was very short and didn't match the bar set by the first act. ✓ Game ending glitch!I started playing this game and loved it. The graphics are beautiful, and the the dialogue had me completely giggling out loud at times. However, after nearly 10 hours of play time, I had a game ending glitch. I was unable to move or do anything without the game instantly force closing to my home screen. No many how many times I restarted the game and tried something different: force close! Now I'm stuck and can not complete the game. I really enjoyed this game before hand, but if you are going to charge $10 for a phone game, you better make sure it works and doesn't glitch so that you can not even beat the game. ✓ Great but...I love this game a lot. But when ever I try to get to the next scene in act 2 with shay my screen goes black and exits the game. Witch it really annoying as it won't let me switch back to Vella so the only way to get past is the redo the entire first act. Maybe adding a scene select or fixing this bug would help. ✓ Maybe it's just me...It's really hard to find point and click adventure puzzlers that don't involve looking for a list of hidden objects. I just want to have a creative story with challenging puzzles to solve. To that end, Broken Age fits the bill. It's got an interesting concept, lovely art and lots of exploring. What I do not enjoy in the least is having a canned set of 4-5 lines that you have to use when interacting with characters. And all too often, you end up having to ask one of the questions more than once to get to the info you need to move on. And if you get the info and are still confused about your next step, you won't get any additional help. They've given you the required feedback and have nothing else to say. It's the same with scenarios. It gets super boring fast. No real clues when you get stuck. I feel better off with games like The Room or others with cute creatures that do not depend on "human" interaction (Machinarium!).Version: 2.3.10
