✓ Great gameHad this game on my iPad for a couple of months now and am totally hooked. Five lives will last for approximately half an hour of play, which makes it worthwhile. Some levels can be extremely frustrating, but I like that you have to think about which character's ability will best suit that level. I will say that it's difficult to get "collect" all the characters in each section, as it means you need to get three stars in each level. Easy and fun gameplay. ✓ Hooked & Unhooked &90% of the time This is my number 1 go to game. I love the pals, kinda like my little buddies and I'll play it every chance I get. I do get frustrated when I need to make a move in a hurry and it locks up. By the time it allows the move it is WAY paste to late. I can't even get a little ahead. After a couple of tries I just quit playing and go on to something else. Those levels take forever to pass and that isn't any fun. I don't mind "not winning" but I need to be given a fair shot at it. Eventually, I think by accident, I'll win that level & whoot whoot I am playing all the time again. I guess I should say thank you for the great, fun to play game. ✓ My commentI love this game. Although its true levels can be complicated at times, you will get through eventually. The only thing I don't like, is when I either have to repeat the level or level up, I loose the number of play. I have to go back out, then go back in; that gets frustrating. I do have a suggestion. Perhaps, on certain levels, you could make it a bonus round for bars to get unlimited play; just a thought for tight budget people!!!!!!! Do you have any other games like this for 1st gen 5.1? ✓ EntertainingI love this game because of the different characters and their abilities. When you have to choose the correct team to help you beat levels, it adds to your strategic game play. I can't think of another game that plays this way and I find the challenge refreshing. With that being said, I do find it frustrating that you get five lives and it takes a whole hour to regain a life. I love this app. It's the only app where I put my notifications on and pick my phone up right when it tells me my energy is full. This game is so fun and has a nice challenge to it. My only downside is sometimes during a level you need a certain amount of ghosts and they don't show up. But I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone! For last year or so I think part of the reason I stuck with it even though it sometimes felt impossible was the fact that ads didn’t play automatically and that storm 8 weren’t constantly advertising their other games as they do on cupcake mania and many of their other games. I suspect that’s because they stopped updating it and I just didn’t notice as I was having fun. I’m disappointed there most likely won’t be more levels. I may go back and replay and try to get more friends. Sigh. I’ve missed this game after reaching the end about a month ago. And—for those who say it’s impossible, I would sometimes play a level for a few days while trying to figure out the friends I needed to beat the level. I didn’t spend much money on this game. ✓ My favourite gameI love this game for a number of reasons: 1) it's more than just a jewel match game because you have to use strategies to pick your team 2) I like that I can't easily earn cheats. It's just a matter of trying the level over and over until you either figure out the best strategy or you increase your strength. 3) if you keep playing a level you WILL eventually beat it which is better than games like candy crush where you basically HAVE to buy power ups to beat some levels. The sad thing is that I believe Storm8 has abandoned this game. There are no new levels or updates which makes me sad. Also, I’ve noticed that some reviews are complaining about data loss. If you only play this Storm8 game, then you should try downloading another Storm8 game (I’d recommend Dragon Story). Whenever you lose your phone or need to change it, you can log in your Storm8 account (if you have one) through the other game, since Diamond Quest usually doesn’t offer this option. ✓ Favorite!!I have played many many different games on my phone and this one is by the best!! If you're like me and binge play a new game, this game will never be boring! I've been playing it everyday for months and there's still more levels. The colors, sounds, and puzzles are addictive. I love how I can choose different characters that may affect the outcome and be rewarded with new ones after so many wins. The only thing that can be frustrating is you only get 5 tries before having to wait for the energy to be restored AND once you get to a Gate it takes 21 hours to wait; however, it's a nice break. ✓ Come back with more levels!I really like this game. It’s a bit different than most of the match 3 candy crush games because you can pick the team you want to use to beat the levels and unlock characters. Repeating a level until you get 3 keys makes the game more playable. I wish they would come up with more levels again! ✓ Awesome (but slow)I had to take off a star because of how long it takes to bring up the map for high levels. I'm at the highest level and waiting 4 or 5 minutes for it load is ridiculous. Especially as you can't seem to do anything else on your phone while it loads. I like to play games when I have 5 minutes to spare... Apart from that, the game is awesome. ✓ Fun gameI really like the strategy aspect of having to choose your team of pals with their special abilities. It's a fun and addictive game and I think the 'lives' restriction is good otherwise I'd play all day!! But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE create some new levels! ✓ Great game but....I loved this game but all of a sudden in the last week or so it's very buggy. It's playing wrong games and lost my 11 or 12 keys I had for collecting pals and has crashed on numerous occasions, worst crashes are of course when your in a middle of a game and winning. Please fix the bugs up and then I'd highly recommend this game as it's fun and you get to change out your characters to help you win your level.
