✓ GREAT GRAPHICS, ANNOYING ADS & CONSTANT GLITCHESI'll start with the positive - the graphics are great and the storyline is easy to follow. However, there are many negatives: 1) if you want to really get anything or anywhere in the game, you have to spend. I also feel many things are set up to make sure you fail and have to buy boosters or rubies. 2) the game has constant glitches, one after another - they fix one and create another. 3) they create guilds and then don't allow you to do anything in them except chat and request energy, so why create guilds in the first place? 4) the and bombardment verges on ridiculous - some of them are mysogynisic and go on forever - in fact, I counted four adverts to buy stuff when I was simply trying to tap on trophies on the home screen. 5) rewards for most things are stingy for all the play you have to put in to get them - the new air race isn't even worth the time spent playing it. If these greedy developers took more time to listen to their players instead of filling their pockets, maybe more would play and stay. You can grab a free hour's play in the morning and evening - and now, thanks to the never ending glitches, ads, and money grabbing, that's the only time I play..Version: 2.35.0

✓ Tedious to actually get to playingThe game itself is alright when you actually get to play it. The problem however is the sheer number of adverts for in App Payments the game inundates you with when you load it up so it’s a race to tap the level you want to play before it can shove all these purchase ‘deals’ in your face. I bought this up with the developers months ago and was told they’d ‘look into it’ absolutely nothing had changed and in speaking with players who’ve been playing longer than I have it seems fairly common for the devs to ignore player complaints if they think they can get away with it. Probably won’t be playing this for much longer because racing against the adverts the app shoves at you is just getting too stressful when I just want something to play to relax..Version: 2.29.2
✓ Good but not greatLess enjoyable the further along you get. You need passes for a lot of locations and it takes a while to collect these. At the moment I have 4 quests that are all for locations you need tokens to enter and I don’t have enough tokens for any of the locations which is super frustrating. ✓ Great game, room for improvementI've been playing this game for over three years and it's my favorite. However, there's always something we'd like to see the developers do better. In light of recent events in America, i decided to review the event avatar pairs and see how diverse they are. Spoiler alert: they're not. I've done 39 events and this is how they broke down: White = 29; Hispanic/Latinx = 4; Asian = 4; Black = 0; Middle Eastern = 0; Indian = 0; Polynesian = 0. I find this rather upsetting for non-white players who want an avatar that somewhat resembles them. (Furthermore, there are only three standard black avatars, two of which are females. So if you're a black male, you have one option. Unacceptable in the year 2020.) I'm not trying to turn this into a "thing" and I won't stop playing the game, but you can rest assured that I will use every platform available to reach the developers and urge them to diversify their event avatars. When they make changes, I will rate higher. Alternatively, they can offer event avatars in different skin tones. They can allow us to make our own avatars like Cooking Diary. No one should be okay with nearly 75% of event avatars in the past three years being Caucasian since that's not what the world looks like..Version: 2.0.1
✓ Fun game butI don’t like how when you level up and you have full energy it doesn’t up together whereas when you buy and receive more energy it adds over and above what you have lets you have full 200 and then level only gives u that plus 5 energy instead of adding 200 more to that? ✓ Well designed & fun...but, Expensive!I’ve been playing this game on and off for several years and do appreciate the beautiful graphics and scenes and enjoy being a part of a Guild. HOWEVER, as others have mentioned, it is VERY expensive to play and any prizes you earn for playing their mini events or even the Guild challenges are measly & cheap. Often in a guild challenge, the prizes include 1 arrow, a small energy boost & other similar tokens. Their mini events often taken multiple tools to complete (timer, arrows) & the prize isn’t worth the effort. In the beginning, I was able to finish the events and earn the theme avatar by spending a small amount of $ for the event passes. In the past year, the game has changed to make it almost impossible to finish the events without spending $$$. The special items required to turn in the event collections are rigged to not drop often, so it requires many more plays to earn, which in turn requires more event passes/tickets to play, which of course cost $$. Or, you can spend hours playing other scenes to earn passes to play the event. The developers have also increased the number of anomalies that appear in scenes, which of course require special objects to dispel, which in turn are hard to accumulate and cost a ridiculous amount in their store. I don’t mind spending a reasonable amount on a game as entertainment, but this game along with others (Hidden City), sadly seem to be raising the cost with each update..Version: 2.19.0
✓ Feb 2022 UpdateI will not recommend this game to anyone and currently looking for another game, that’s for adults and not for kids. My reasons are listed below. I have been playing for 3 years and the Hush update in Feb wi the worst yet. The age is now 4+ and yes you have made it all for the kids. Bland map, where you need to zoom in for everything. Bland colours for the level per locations, the emblems surrounding the locations are just awful. Your players are grown adult who spend money or in some cases a lot of money and this is what “we” get in return. There is no incentive now as the game looks boring and dull. The location/s look good and then you update Gloomy House, why? With the knowledge your designers have, all you needed to do was lighten the darker areas in the rooms, more so for the players who have sight issues. You need to listen to your “audience”, so on that note give us our map back. Don’t give us fancy jargon, as I know game developers and I know this can be reverted back, in your lame reply. ✓ Free energyFor the past 3 days haven’t been receiving happy hour! Yesterday came on at 8.37pm-9pm!!! In the past, if I couldn’t play at 8pm I could still use my happy hour after 8pm which was really useful for me. It helps me unwind. Due to work shift can’t always log on to play at 8pm but since last September you can’t even do that! If you can’t log on at 8pm or forget then you’ve missed happy hour for the day!! How unfair!!! Also, whenever there’s an update on game The game offers free hour as a reward, what’s annoying is when you log on to play at 8pm happy hour it doesn’t give you the option to ‘use later’ which used to happen before and so you lose the free hour because I’m playing free happy hour!! Taking away more privileges yet again! 3 days ago, I got awarded free reward 1 hour game for updating game and then another free reward for 1 hour again and BOTH STARTED AT THE SAME TIME AS HAPPY HOUR- AS I DIDNT GET HAPPY HOUR I USED THE FREE REWARD BUT LOST OUT ON ANOTHER FREE HOUR BECAUSE BOTH REWARDS WERE COUNTING DOWN AT THE SAME TIME. ✓ Who’s cheating?If it were possible to give this game a negative rating, I would do so in a heartbeat. Let me amend that, I would give Mytona a negative rating. I have been playing this game for over five years and love it. I tried several other games before settling on this one. It is by far one of the better ones…great graphics, challenging games, interesting story line, in short, plenty to hold my interest. However, some recent interactions with Mytona has left me angry, frustrated and hurt. Last week, while playing the MP in the guild event, Mytona sent me a message accusing me of manipulating the game somehow to cheat and proceeded to strip me of all the points I had earned thus far in the event. I promptly emailed Support and explained that I did absolutely nothing to manipulate the game. Their reply was that their “data” showed some suspicious “activity” on my account and stood by their contention that I cheated. I emailed them several more time reiterating that I did absolutely nothing to manipulate the game and even requested that I be allowed to correspond with a supervisor. All I received was the same rote answer about their “data” and my request for a supervisor was ignored. Basically they are calling me a liar and a cheat. They refuse to take my complaint seriously and will not investigate the situation further. Please take my story into consideration before you invest any time or money in this game..Version: 2.16.0
✓ I really like this game..... butThis is my first review ever. There are a lot of things I really like about this game, and others I’m still trying to learn. However a HUGE downside to me is the energy. It’s takes sooooo long for it to build up and then within a few minutes it’s back down again because the challenges drain it too quickly. You can wait all day long for full energy and play through all of it in just a few minutes. I understand trying to make money from a game, but sometimes it’s ridiculous. Please make it where the time for the energy to come back is at least cut in half, if not a minute per unit. AND I think as you level up, the locations that start out with a ridiculous amount of energy (70+) should start going down with more experience than up like it does now. The coins seem to be ignored for the most part. Make it where you can use those instead of always having to buy rubies (which I won’t buy). I don’t mind having to spend time in the game building up coins to buy inventory, but I don’t like rubies being the only option. Right now I still like this game. However I see that changing as I continue to level up if the energy issue stays the same and if it becomes absolutely necessary to spend real money to move forward. ✓ ScamFirstly a little praise, no can’t think of much. I have seen the graphics progress from stunning, almost life like to something reminiscent of a childrens colouring book. I have played this game on and off for almost 6 years, sadly my enthusiasm and love for it is waning fast. The main reasons being the amount of useful tools taken out of circulation, rewards borderline insulting considering how many fixers needed to collect them and the persistence of the developers to deny us the items they say are free but we have to pay for. Before another standard reply, no these are not from past events, these are active ongoing collections on the map and by your own rules should be in the locations. ✓ 5 star game except the constant barrage of purchase urgingsI’ve been playing this game since it came out. It’s beautifully illustrated, fun and can be addictive. However, 5 in game adverts IN A ROW trying to convince players to purchase game items is unbelievably annoying, shows how greedy Mytona appear to be and honestly making me consider deleting the game. The guild play is great and it’s been wonderful meeting like minded players, but at what cost?! All the in game purchases are expensive and before a player realises it, they could easily spend excessively. ✓ SeekersThe concept is great however you will either stop playing early on or start spending money early because those credits take a long time to generate. Collection items - you can’t collect enough for tools required when playing and yet you may collect 3,000 of something totally useless. Of course you can always take up one of the great offers and buy, especially when playing mp. Sticker box: pretty sure it doesn’t have stickers in it, just another item to make 3,001 of something you have more than enough of. Maybe the stickers all fell to the bottom of the box, maybe mytona could give the box a shake. Specials - you can buy are in the side tool bar so please stop having them jump up on the screen. ✓ Misogyny in advertisingI generally enjoy playing this game. But, player be warned, if you watch the short ads within the game to have access to perks, like extra moves or reduced puzzle cost, you may be exposed to sexist content. Some of the games advertised about a ‘makeover’ for female characters include hetero-normative scenarios (women pursuing men romantically, often to face rejection because of their ‘poor’ looks or clothing choices) only to be exposed to body-shaming (unkempt, with bad body odour, unshaven, with skin problems and protruding teeth). These advertised games are misogynistic and deeply offensive to women. It is singularly the one thing that makes me not want to play the game, because the developers must clearly be at ease if they accept this sort of advertising on their platform. So the question is, how at ease do I feel in playing - hence supporting - this game? The answer, not very. I might even quit, even if I like the puzzles and the different locations. Before I do that, I would first appeal to the developers to remove the misogynistic content from their advertising. It’s wrong to expose people to this. ✓ Crashes, puzzles too difficult too soon, too many ‘buy this!’ Pop-ups, laggy battery hog!This game is visually beautiful, but has so many issues I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to play. It crashes constantly, especially when you’re watching a video ad, so you’ll watch the video but not get the reward. It kills my battery super fast, and it’s laggy as can be. The puzzles go from easy in the first couple of levels to insanely difficult. It becomes frustrating and I don’t enjoy playing the same level over and over in an effort to progress. I have come to the conclusion some of the hidden item puzzles are missing items so it’s impossible to finish the puzzle no matter how hard you try. The repetition gets a bit boring as well. I’m only level 24, I really can’t see how people manage to open all the locations without losing their mind along the way. The pop-ups for ‘one time offers’ is absolute overkill too. ✓ Used to be greatI have been playing for years. The latest updates are horrible! They have changed the map and removed the beautiful artwork, replacing it with gummy looking icons. It looks like the game stepped into ‘Toon Town. The Victorian style rooms and artwork have become bright and garish. It is no longer a hidden object game but more of a “we dropped a bunch of cartoon items on this picture and you have to touch them to make them go away” game. I have stopped playing as much because the map assaults my senses. I am hoping the developers realize that they have gotten rid of all that was good with this game and they revert it back. In the meantime I suggest finding an actual hidden object game if that is what you want. The newest locations are very zoomed in and simple, where the scenes used to be wide open and detailed. They have even started changing some of the old amazing and much loved locations to the up close, claustrophobic scenes. I would love to see the changes reverted and the game be returned to its former glory. If that happens I will give it 5 stars again. I gave two stars because some of the locations are still good and I love the Haunted Lights game, I wish I could find that as a stand alone, then I could leave SN entirely..Version: 2.21.0
✓ Good game but could get expensive.I’ve been playing this game daily for around a year. I play solo not posting to Facebook. I have oodles of free energy & talismans, so it’s been fun. I have been getting bored with it lately, for many reasons, now that I have been playing a while the locations grow in energy expense and difficulty which causes less and less time play, this causes shorter and shorter time play on allotted energy. So unless I pay for more items and access I am going to be stuck in a level of play I can’t build on. In the past I’ve paid a dollar for passes and rubies (one of the currency’s of this game) but there is no game that should cost 10 to 30 dollars a month. So I perceive since I am a low income player I will be unable to reach the end of the events, or solve the puzzles, or understand the object of the overall game. I find the sales pitches annoying I don’t get to see my rewards because it is so important for the game designers to pitch their tools to achieve greater success. So while I have enjoyed the game, it has hit a dead end and I will probably uninstall it soon because like I said in the title it is too expensive to play any longer..Version: 1.45.2

✓ As usual Greedy DevelopersGame is fun and at times extremely frustrating. Constant nags to spend real dollars which seriously detracts from the enjoyment of the game. Just far too much money grabs and at times you feel that the game leads you to a need to spend only to progress. Kind of like 'well if you won't spend real money with us, we will cause difficulty and make you spend'. The game is well structured, nice graphics and the story line is enjoyable. My only other beef with the game is the lack of info regarding play strategy. Often you receive items and have absolutely no clue what they are, how they work, where they are found. I clicked on one to try and find out what it did and unwittingly launched it and subsequently lost it from my inventory. Gone just when I didn't need to use it! Other things like - How do you make friends, how do you give gifts. A prompt keeps telling me I can use tools to solve puzzles quickly? Really, well what the Dickins are those tools? I'm kind of enjoying the game but not knowing how to play the game frustrates me. ✓ Little bit unbalancedThis game is fun and has a wonderful art style, as well as a coherent narrative. The only downfall it has so far is the jump in how much energy you have to spend to do an "area" once you've levelled up in that "area", or when you open a new "area" once you've reached a higher level. For example the "Clothing Store"; from the getgo you have to spend 22 energy and 5 thread to play this "area". I am currently at level 14, which means my max energy is 100. Paying that much to do an area at its lowest level feels incredibly steep. It's a real pity as I've gone from playing the game for a decent amount of time, getting into the narrative and etc., to now just playing it a few minutes at a time as the "area"s now require such a large amount of energy. I'd also like to add that I got this game two days ago, so it ends up feeling like I only had two days of real gameplay, and now have to play the waiting game to do anything..Version: 1.21.0

I kept getting prompts to update but have gone through this with other games and they either don't upload properly or the updates wipe everything out and make the game more expensive to get anywhere. I have played every day so got a good login reward but I bet that has all gone. As I have been trying for three days to update and keep getting sent in a loop I am deleting the game and finding another problem solving one. Other people have been having the same problem, from reading the reviews? A shame as the graphics and the slight change to each game, to make it a bit harder are ok. Does mean it takes you ages of repeating the same game over and over to get any prizes. I don't recon I would have got much further as it sounds as if buying things is going to be something you have to do and it is expensive. ✓ Seekers notesI started off loving this game and now I am going to delete, here is why, starts out fun and easy till you learn what it’s all about, then more fun - gives you a challenge- but then you have to find things that morph with butterfly’s twittering around distracting your eyes then you lose precious energy for nothing, earning nothing, do not play this game for relaxing, it makes your anxiety sky high and for me makes me feel like I’m stupid because I’ve played the scene numerous times..... but how many times they have changed where things are at and then on top of that they add more, hide things so small behind bigger things and hey guess what.... no more time on the clock which makes you keep looking at the clock while trying to find all the new stuff and don’t forget the screens where you have to find their “look a likes” have to look at so many different things to find their match in time and you always get down to the last one that you just can’t find then the oh so great “you lose” p.s still looking for free, relaxing- as advertised on free games for iPad how come you have to put money into a free game seeing as how you still get paid for the game with all the free ads we have to watch, just curious, scenes are absolutely gorgeous and I dig the plot,I don’t like playing monotonous games but I’m not going to put money into a game before my child, I’m not that kind of mother.Version: 1.37.1

✓ New update is AWFUL!I originally rated this game 5* but the change from Magisters Path to Darkwood Cup is the worst decision the game makers have ever made (and since they recently gave us the “Illusion Hall,” that’s saying a LOT). It’s nothing more than a money grab. It forces you to use more energy and spend much more time playing just to keep up. Then they make you wait for hours on end to get more points for the weekly competition, that they’ve now structured the same as the daily quests. They’re hoping to wear you down and “inspire” you to take the easy way out and just pay for stuff, especially with the constant pop-ups with packages for sale. Worse, the give you quests to fulfill but don’t explain them so you waste time and energy and/or access passes doing what you think they want and it’s just not that. I now sit and watch rockets in the Treasure Box not remove anything from its path when it should have cleared the row or column. Lots of people have complained but they don’t care. They must be manipulating enough people to spend more money that what others think doesn’t matter. If I didn’t love my guild of 2 years and not want to let my friends down I would probably delete it..Version: 2.28.2
✓ Fun but annoyingThe game is great for a challenge but as other people have said they want you to splash out real money to get more rubies which I think you shouldn’t have to do. They should tell you that to begin with, so practically it’s not a free game (it’s only free to download). Like the others how do you get friends on here and get the tools to help you win sections? None of that’s explained, they need to do that, so like the others say they need better tutorials and better at explaining things. Freezes constantly when I am trying to buy items and have had hundreds of dollars and many rubies lost when purchases are charged but I’ve never received the credits/benefits. Trying to get it sorted has been a nightmare - no easy avenue to immediately send a request or speak to a real person to help. Thanks for your response to the overall glitch that you have fixed via update for no doubt millions of players. ✓ Fraudulent chargesAppalling!! I was really enjoying this game until I discovered they have taken over $200 from my account without authorisation. I tapped to make a purchase but it would not connect to iTunes (it would quickly flash in the screen and then do nothing), so I was not able to get the screen to enter my compulsory password and confirm purchase. So I pressed again, same thing. This happened a lot over many weeks. I then also received no email receipt as I normally would so thought nothing of it. Until one day I logged into my account for something else and discovered all these charges. I have been back and forth with their support, originally to report the glitch, then to request a refund, and provided all the information and they are just saying I confirmed the purchase and received them. TOTAL LIES!! This is obviously fraudulent activity and I am prepared to take legal action. My recommendation is DO NOT attempt to make a purchase!!.Version: 1.48.0

Progressing is difficult unless you use rubies, eg if you order an item to complete a collection you have to wait 2 HOURS for it to be ready unless you spend rubies. Guilds are a waste of time, nothing to do in them except ask for energy. Competitions are very boring - just playing locations like you usually do. They could make guilds and competitions way more interesting, like it was in Ravenhill, that they in their great wisdom decided to close. I just wish when they do updates they would improve some of the things that people complain about. As anyone who has been playing this game goes, when you purchase an item while solving a puzzle, it will automatically use the item directly after the purchase and you have no control over that. When I saw that I had accidentally purchased the lamps for 40 rubies, I immediately wrote to customer support. They told me well we cannot give your Rubys back because you already used a lamp. I told them that I didn't use a lamp, it was automatically used for me because that's how the game works. We went back-and-forth quite a few times and in the end they still refused. So therefore I will never use this game again. After spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years, they flat out refused just to return the 40 rubies, and so this is how they will treat you too. Very unfair and a really dumb decision on their part, don't get sucked in because the game might be "fun" because if you make an honest mistake you'll be called a liar and they will not do the right thing..Version: 1.25.1
✓ Five StarsAbsolutely beautiful game. Could easily play this for hours and hours! It's completely absorbing with so many cleverly hidden objects to find and each place to explore seems more stunning than the last. The game I turn to to de-stress and unwind of an evening because it is so easy to zone right into, the music is pleasant to listen to and it's a lovely game to look at. I wrote the above review quite some time ago. Since then the game has changed a LOT and it’s not an improvement. The graphics have become the same as so many other games, childish, and also forever ads popping up trying to lure you in to spending a fortune on rubies etc. Also, something that has really annoyed me, I didn’t play for a while but recently started playing again only to find I’m now locked out of quite a few locations I had unlocked ages ago! ✓ Pop up adverts - so disappointingMYTONA, you are just not listening to much of the feedback you are being given. Over the years I have downloaded this game several times, each time I have noticed how MYTONA are pushing more for their offers to be taken up. Then came the ‘watch an advert’ for a Ruby or to play a game and not use access passes. Now you have introduced pop up adverts that interrupt game play and you end up losing precious time if you have activated a talisman to gain more experience points or increase your chances of finding items or fixers. This is where it stops for me, because in order to stop the adverts from popping up you are asking us for yet more money. Are you telling us that the Millions you make every year off this one game alone is not enough for you MYTONA? Your own greed has now completely turned me away from you and this game. ✓ Can’t open Colorful EventI love this game! Have been enjoying it for going on two years! The monthly updates keep it interesting and I like the variety of puzzles mixed in with the hidden pictures. It is probably not too strong a statement to say I am addicted! All that being said I am VERY FRUSTRATED with the Colorful Event! It is my very favorite part of the game and my last several rotation through, it won’t let me open it! I expressed this with the help and support and they suggested I take it off my device and reload it. I believe if I do that I will lose all my progress, unless of course I save my progress through Facebook. I have NO interest in tying this to Facebook. I understand a lot goes into developing a game like this and at this point I like it well enough to pay for it but, not enough to give access to my Facebook account. If that is why I am having trouble please let me know and I will break my addiction now instead of trying to log in for days. This is the only event I have trouble with. ✓ Massively addictiveI loved playing this game, it is super addictive but as you progress through puzzle levels, I found it nearly impossible to solve the Treasure Box and Haunted Lights puzzles. You end up spending all your rubies trying to complete the puzzles so you can progress and to get a decent amount of rubies, you need to buy them via in-app purchase. You can’t play for free for very long before you run out of energy and either need to wait or buy rubies to get energy. there is also another option to watch an ad to receive rewards and free energy etc. However, some of the ads are not appropriate. There is one called project makeover which is horrible and shows women in very poor taste. Another also was rated for years 4 and up shows a girl in her under where when her boyfriend walks in with another girl and you the player chooses to either have a three-some or throw a fit. The locations were beautiful and intricate and made you work to find items, which is what us adults want. For a while now the updates have been cartoonish and childish. ✓ Showing a definition or imageSometimes it’s difficult to know what something is when your looking for it. I would suggest having the chance to use a reward or something to allow you to see an image of what your suppose to be looking for. For example bird cover- I had no idea what this was, and therefore had no idea what I was looking for, it would have been good to have had a button where you could see what the item was. I also get confused with all the different challenges and things that you are looking for. I find there’s a huge back story which isn’t really necessary for the game. The energy is also fast to go, and I’m still trying to figure it out as to how you can purchase more... ✓ Beautiful artwork and a great challenge, BUT...I know there is no such thing as a perfect game and if there was, it wouldn’t be free. This game is very challenging and I have been playing it for several months now. What I have found, is pretty much the same complaint about fixers and components dropping after searching a location. I don’t mind waiting for the energy to refill, as I only play about 5 or 10 minutes at a time anyway. However, on the special event bits that crop up on the holidays make this especially aggravating. I know they want to make money and so, entice you to spend money. But when you spend 10 or 15 times searching and completing a location and you are unable to get the fixer to complete the collection, when before they dropped like mana from heaven and now they don’t drop AT ALL, well...that can frustrate a player real quick. I’m to the point now I can pretty much call it complete and just uninstall and move on to another game. ✓ Great game turned badI’ve been playing Seekers Notes for a couple of years now & up until a year ago it was great. I really looked forward to & enjoyed playing it. Then MYTONA introduced guilds. I am in the most amazing guild, everyone is lovely & we chat all the time. Then MYTONA introduced the Magister’s Path where guilds compete against each other. HOWEVER they put small guilds like ours (12 people) against guilds with 40 active players! The only way we stand any chance of getting in the top 5 or 6 is by spending pounds upon pounds buying rubies to buy energy. Shame on you MYTONA! The last MP our guild head spent a fortune buying rubies to buy energy & she ended up with the game freezing continuously & losing all that money, AGAIN SHAME ON YOU MYTONA! I myself also lost energy. The glitches are also ridiculous & when you message MYTONA they just come back with “check your internet” & “update your device “. ✓ Attractive graphics...but totally ruined by constant pop-upsThis game is genuinely very attractive and potentially a great way of honing your observational skills...and just killing time. However I have 2 main gripes, both of which totally ruin the game: 1 The are a ridiculous amount of pop ups trying to sell you power ups, features, and bonuses etc. For instance yesterday I had to close 9 pop up screens just starting the game after clicking on “Play”. Every step of the way you are plagued with pop up after pop up trying to get you to part with your money. To the creators I’d say come of guys enough is enough. 2) The game is unbelievably repetitive. You have to complete every level a ridiculous number of times to reach 10% and subsequently progress to the next level. What makes it even more infuriating is that every time you complete a challenge the percentage of “points” that contribute to reaching your next target reduces exponentially. ✓ Great gameThis is so far the greatest searching objects game that I've played. The game has a nice, mysterious storyline that you slowly uncover as you progress. However, it requires too much energy to search a location and then it takes so long for energy to refill. Without good talismans, you end up searching an area multiple times to find the quest object. Then, some quests require you to trade, complete a collection or search objects while the area is haunted by a phenomenon. It started as a fun game, but to add these tedious complexities to the game makes it draining, especially when you have to wait for the energy to refill. If either the energy fills faster or it requires less energy to search an area, the game would be better. Another annoying thing is that there are often pop ups to purchase gold or rubies for a discounted price. Totally a game meant for making money, you can play for free but you'll have to be patient and try not to frivolously spend your rubies. The map is so huge and I've only been able to unlock a few locations, not sure if it ends since it's proving difficult to get there, so makes me wonder. ✓ Disrespect to PlayersIt has been brought to my attention that during the last Magisters Path event, because of a glitch in YOUR code many players received more reels than usual for a few days. Perhaps because I was not online when MYTONA’s ERROR occurred, I did not get extra reels, not that I would have noticed unless it got excessive. I often do not even receive the 6 per day players are supposed to get & when I contacted support I was rudely told “too bad for you”. Now, after your OWN ERROR, I am hearing from Guild mates & friends in other Guilds that you are sending out very rude messages holding the players that keep you in business responsible for your mistakes. You are telling them they will be banned from the game if DUE TO YOUR MISTAKES they accidentally click on 1 too many reels. CAN YOU PURCHASE A CLUE? Do you not understand your own players after all this time? All those in my Guild who received your self serving threat are either devastated or furious. They had no idea they were receiving extra reels & those that are foreign didn’t understand what was happening. Try and comprehend as I explain slowly and use simple words - most players have lives beyond this game. They work, go to school, have medical conditions or family too take care of. They do not sit down for hours each day & play for hours. They do not have that luxury. During the Path they want to help their Guild so they come on as often per day as possible, sometimes only for 15-30 minutes. Often they don’t get reels during visits and because they are on so often per day in stolen moments during lunch breaks, class breaks, while children play or during daily work at home. They often don’t notice how many reels they get & certainly don’t have time to keep some kind of lists. Most of us DISLIKE REELS intensely as they are often for offensive material. We are also aware that MYTONA EARNS MONEY BASED ON REELS BEING WATCHED. I don’t watch all the reels I get because they often infuriate me, given the questionable businesses you have allowed access to us for your own PROFIT. Others feel the same so getting extra reels is not something we want & if all those who received your insulting memo in my Guild had realized, they would not have watched them. Given the constantly rising cost to play this game (and diminishing returns), many players need those 6 reels per day to be able to contribute. They do not however have to time in their busy lives to POLICE YOUR MISTAKES, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ERROR EARNS YOU MONEY. It is unreasonable to punish players for a programming error and to threaten to ban them for YOUR MISTAKES if they don’t start keeping lists & turning this game from their stress relief and place for friends into another job/responsibility. Making sure the game works is YOUR ONLY JOB and players should not pay the price when you fail. This is NOT a case of unethical gamers looking for cheats, this was a PROGRAMMING ERROR for which you are blaming the victims. No one was hurt by YOUR ERROR in fact MYTONA BENEFITED FINANCIALLY from the extra reel ad revenue. You may have sold less rubies but your over the top, heavy handed response and refusal to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ERRORS is going to cost you a lot more than some ruby sales. Some have quit, many are on the brink and we had to talk them down but they are united in one goal, to never spend another cent or watch any reels at all. They also want and deserve an APOLOGY FROM MYTONA for their gross over reaction and a promise that no player will be banned if you have a game error and they accidentally hit 1 too many reels. BOYCOTT - until that apology is received and your threat that has left players fearing reels is rescinded. At least 30 Guilds to date are ready to “strike” for better and fairer playing conditions. Until the simple and deserved requests above are given all Guilds and players who wish to be able to enjoy the game again will do the following: Will not play Magisters Path Will not click on any reels anywhere Will not purchase anything It is our hope that you show players respect and the locality they have shown this game. The threatening messages sent to many players was one insult too many and was overwhelming out of line reaction to an issue MYTONA CAUSED ITSELF. No players did anything wrong & the majority didn’t even know there was a error until you told them. I did not experience the glitch myself but when asked by a very large number of Guild & game friends who were devastated, angry, terrified or a combination of same if I would make a post on their behalf I agreed after being shown the messages they had received. I did manage to convince many long time players to try a boycott of the above noted activities before quitting something that had brought them happiness. I hope all players and Guilds who feel the same join in to send the message that players deserve curtesy, respect and for the game makers to accept ownership of their errors. None of us condone any form of planned cheating and support anyone doing that being banned. They would certainly be removed from our Guild but that IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED during the most recent Path. It was entirely SYSTEM ERRORS and no player should ever have to fear blame for things not in their control. Love to hear from others who feel the same and who wish to also send a message. Hope to not see any of you in the coming Path until we fairness has been restored and no one has to fear touching a reel. ✓ Love the game but....I love this game! The graphics are beautiful and there are so many cute little details about the game that make it enjoyable. I love playing it often. However, I feel that you can only reap the true benefits from the game if your constantly paying money. For example, I always liked how on the ticket festival event you could earn 1 avatar without having to pay the money. Now you can only achieve this is you pay for the road of achievement. The option that doesn’t require money has boring rewards that I could mostly get without playing the event at all, like coins or fixers instead of all the good stuff that the road of achieve the offers. There are countless examples of instances like this It’s putting a real damper on the game because the developers put so much effort into the game but you have to pay for it. The difference between handing out cash to the app and not paying for anything is clearly seen every time the app updates or there is an event. Although one could argue that it’s just a couple of bucks, COVID had been tight of many people’s wallets. There’s so many reminders popping up while you play to “buy this” or “get that” that I’m constantly clicking x or saying no to the game. It’s honestly gotten a little annoying. ✓ Fun but frustrating...I have said most everything before but the progression of this game is not done in a way the player receives the benefit. It was fun and worth the effort for the first 10-12 months then it has been a gradual decline ever since. I have been playing almost as long as the game has been available... ~4&½ years. The guilds are useless for the most part. The expense to get just one aid has quadrupled, the changes made in locations already established is ‘pretty’ but not at all helpful . I have spent lots of $$$ on this game and as long as I felt the return was fair I didn’t mind ... I know everyone has to make a living but... this is ridiculous. I am still waiting for the current update 2 days after released to many players. It is unfair and puts you at a disadvantage in multiple ways. I would rather have a longer period of play on a new location than to have a new location drop and not be able to play for days. iOS platform is not new... however whomever is responsible for getting it to the players apparently are. It really is sad when a game is more concerned with making locations on the board pretty instead of spending that time figuring out how to release an update so it is fair to all players! ✓ Addictive but they cheatThe game is fun and addictive. The different locations and types of game make this a one stop shop when it comes to the various games out there. Different hidden object modes, including morphs, collections, match 3, and more made me stop playing all my other games. However, I have noticed that playing the match 3 style areas the games makes it so there is no way for you to meet the goal. For example, you need to collect 30 red and 30 blue objects in 2 mins. The game will only drop two or three blue and red objects out of approximately 50 objects. This is unfair and has made me avoid those quests. Now all my quests require that I complete theses before I can move on and has made the game less fun and unplayable unless I spend an enormous amount of real money. The prices to purchase the in-games currency is outrageous. I normally do makes purchases in games like these but when this games is obviously trying to make money more than keeping me entertained I won’t spend. Plus they keep throwing up all these “Specials” or “Sales” in my face in between rounds. It’s just as bad as having third party ads disrupting your gameplay. ✓ No need to update things just to update themThis game has a lot going for it. Which is why I don't understand the constant need to update so many different areas of the game so often. I have also played the other game they have and the reason I stopped playing was because this one did things better. The collection tracking was better, the gifting was better, the friends area was better and the puzzles are far superior for what you get in return. I agree that the puzzles are not used to full advantage unless it's the treasure box or hidden lights, which after awhile are just filler. I appreciate the quests and the story and want to keep playing. And I must say every time I've needed to contact support they've been very helpful and prompt. But these last couple of updates have complicated the game more than necessary,and have mimicked the other game in ways that are not good. While I do occasionally purchase items, I've completed several events without ever purchasing anything, which is nice. This game would be better if they rolled back the game to the old collection settings, the old friend settings, and added some new puzzles. ✓ Love the game BUTThis is a fabulous game, beautiful graphics and good storyline, I quickly became addicted. However, I found the levels where a number of special ‘keys’ were needed to access the level were difficult to find and I had to repeat too many levels to get them. In the same vein the tasks often took too long to complete as you needed to be on a certain anomaly setting that might take 5 attempts before you got the correct one only to find that the necessary object was not found and you had to start again. I don’t mind playing additional games and waiting to get an anomaly by playing games. But It it is too frustrating and stops being fun when you play 3 lots of energy and are no further along in the story. Even when I used a talisman I had limited luck. I have gone back to it a few times but it does not feel like fun anymore. I reached level 63 and 345 health and have stopped playing the game moving onto less frustrating hidden object games. I have been playing this game for a few years now, when I started it was very good and if you had a problem Mytona was helpful, now they are not interested in players, all they want is for players to spend money on extras. For example another con is if you play the emerald event, which is timed, you lose at least 10 seconds between rooms, this adds up to over a minute lost, this reduces the rooms you can complete. There are far to many adverts now, I know they make money from them but it is ruining the game. All their updates seem to be designed too encourage people to spend money, the game has lost its enjoyment. ✓ Fun until it’s not...It is a great game at first, don’t get me wrong. However, as you progress, the game gets to the point that they want an excessive amount of money to complete challenges. While you can play the game without the challenges, being a competitor by nature, I would like to accomplish the goals. You will not do so under $100 and half your life spent on this game. The plus side is that if you eventually give up hopes of achieving what they want you, you can still play on. Again, then as your rank increases, so does the energy to enter a room. It takes about 5 times to play a room before you get the right anomaly, and then at my rank (57), it takes half my energy for the entire day to play that room. For example, took me 5 times at a room using 61 energy points, got the gargoyle anomaly and to play it is 140. My max energy is 305. Plus, it takes about 25,000 room event items to move from detective to Virtuoso, because you only move up by 1% each time played. That does not include all the games played to get to detective rating. Also, you have to play 4-5 side rooms to get enough “tokens” to enter the room. Therefore, you must spend a lot of money (as they don’t offer great savings) and/or your entire real life to this game. If you are looking to just have fun searching for items, great game! If you want to complete challenges, the developers are greedy and it is hard to do after the very early levels..Version: 1.43.2
✓ Not for sight challenged viewersUpdate; I received a nice acknowledgment from the developers that they would take this into future consideration. I hope it can be done as I am sure there are thousands with sight challenges that would love to see this happen. 1/4/23. I used to like this game but even when my vision was much better the game had become increasingly "muddy" in the scenes you find objects in, not to mention the pearls. As I have gotten older and now am challenged with the beginning of macular it is so frustrating. I enlarge the screen, try to play with contrast but am continually frustrated by the lack of clarity in the scene. Hiding objects but making the scene clearly defined should not be mutually exclusive. At the least, with technology of today add some settings for those who need more clarity. Also a pet peeve of mine is when boosters are suddenly taken out of the game with no notice or explanation. My favorite was the one that allowed creating gems, boosters etc for x minutes with no coin cost. This was not an easy talisman to get but was great when it did show up, but it's history. ✓ Great Game but also very annoyingThe fundamentals of the game are great and the graphics etc are amazing. I pretty much play twice a day, every day once my energy levels have topped up. This is the first game of this type I’ve played and am actually enjoying it, HOWEVER!!! - you waste a lot of energy working up tokens to be able to play a room, only to finally play it and not get the item you are playing for. It can literally take days to get one item even if you are using boosts to help. - there are a ridiculous number pop ups want you to buy packs. This is really annoying and if you aren’t careful you could spend a fortune. You can finish a game and literally 3 offers will appear that you have to click through before you can move on. - I have dyslexia and some of the updates are really not inclusive. I really enjoyed doing the mosaic puzzles and was quite good at them, but in a recent update the went from black and white tiles turning into coloured ones to a really pale sepia tone - I’ve not managed to complete once puzzle since! - as a newbie to this type of game I had no idea where to start. I’ve had to find out by trial and error and missed out on loads of rewards etc as a result (and I’m sure there are a still a lot I don’t know about). I’m not looking for hints - but somewhere in the settings folder to be able to get some basic instructions as to how the game works, would be a good start!.Version: 1.33.1
✓ Seriously FrustratingI’m on the verge of ditching this app. It punishes me way too much for what it thinks is an attempt to game the system, when really I’m just checking that my tap registered, or am trying to make sense of what I’m seeing. I’m not trying to cheat at all, but am getting punished anyway. I’ve issued many an angry expletive while playing this. There are several other seriously annoying aspects. Trying to play with the hoarfrost anomaly is almost impossible because swiping either pauses the game or moves the screen (which it would normally do) so aaaaargh! And I finally got rid of the timeshift anomaly in the wishing well location, only to have it return immediately. Come on! I’ve tried to get past a particular level in the treasure box and have failed waaaaay too many times. Seriously, set your difficulty level to below impossible. This could have been a really good game, with its beautiful graphics and the concept, but it’s just too annoying..Version: 1.28.1

✓ Waste of time and moneyBesides the game being full of bugs & glitches which are in every update that players are forced to install, support are useless & not at all helpful! Mytona is running a scam that players using apple devices are given a massive advantage over players on non apple devices. Support claim offers made to players to buy the necessary rubies needed to play the game are random to every player. But players on apple devices continually & consistently receive offers to purchase 3 packs of rubies for price of 1 pack whilst players on non apple devices only ever receive offer to purchase 2 packs of rubies for price of 1 pack. As the rubies are needed for everything in the game anyone using apple products can advance through the game quicker & for fraction of price of other players. The offers are not random as every player receives a them at the same time every day for same items just better deal for those playing on apple products..Version: 2.9.2

As a result, players have been banned from the game, including those who have spent money to purchase in-game items. Players naturally accept the advertisements provided by the official game, so it raises the question of whether the game developers are encouraging cheating. I strongly suspect that this is intentional. The company has not only profited from advertisements but also appeased the reporting guilds, shifting the blame onto other players who have encountered game bugs. Faced with such authoritarian terms in the game, if your game does not consider the interests of the players, we can file complaints with relevant authorities to hold you accountable for your mistakes. ✓ Great game but…..I loved this game but I took it off my tablet because it was always screaming at me buy, buy, buy. Every time you finished a task, loaded a screen, opened a new story line, anything a all there were all those ads. Got very annoying so I trashed it. ✓ I love this game I hate this gameThis is a beautiful and challenging and well developed seek and find game, with other tricky games thrown in. Starts out relatively easy and gets harder, which is good, you want a challenge. I really don’t understand the details of how the other games, events, quests work because it’s not explained. But I know the only way to win game tools is to win quests and events. I know they really want you connected to Facebook to get gifts from friends. I am not doing That. I know I have spent a lot of money in this game but I am deleting it today. I know when i have to play the same 35 or 40 seek and find screens to get one part of a three part task I am beyond frustrated. Because it is tedious and boring. No mystery. I know what to do. I know if you have a lot of patience and only want to play the game three times a day for 15 minutes you can do so without spending money. But I like to play it more, therefore I spend. I don’t mind spending a little because the developers deserve it. But spending money to “win” something is not really a win. ✓ Bug when logging into Facebook account!!!I submitted this bug to developers months ago but it seems the problem hasn’t been resolved I have a several year’s old account with significant ingame progress that’s been linked to my Apple Game Center account from the beginning I upgraded my iPhone some months ago and deleted apps and reinstalled to clear data. Seekers Notes retrieves my account successfully via my Apple Game Center login. However when I login to my Facebook account for the ingame currency reward, Seekers Notes reverts my game progress back to the beginning because a message pops up informing me that no game data is linked to my Facebook account Well yeah I know this but thought I could login to both and not be reverted back to a new game without any of my progress and items saved. The game then wants to take me through the tutorial and I ultimately delete it and reinstall but this doesn’t always resolve the issue and the game just gets stuck on the message icon that I have my first statue reward (I forget what they name these) I really want to play the game again but it’s frustrating to wait for the time to reinstall the app and hope that my Facebook login is not enabled so I have all of my earned game stuff! Guess I won’t be playing until this error is resolved….Version: 2.28.1
✓ What..??!No idea what this was about. I assumed it would be another fun distraction to while away a few lazy minutes on the toilet, not have your patience jumping through hoops trying to just get to the games. Less a game, more a serious of tedious pop-ups, hints, narrative and instructions. Collect stars, spend rubies, merge items, earn coins…!?? Far too much going on outside the actual games. Some sort of busy scene map thing and a narrative with character speech bubbles popping up with some scrolling exposition. Then more instructions to earn, spend, merge, boost, swap, whatever. And more exposition. And hints. And instructions. People say it’s great once you get passed the complexity. A series of repeating hidden object scenes? I must’ve done the same scene ten times and the game was still popping up instructions and hint arrows. ✓ Money, money, moneyYou can play the game without spending any money, but that is not going to get you very far, very fast. In fact you aren’t going to get far, I loved the game to start, but having played it for almost a year now, I am finding it tedious more than fun. Very disappointing in the long run. It’s too bad, Mytona don’t appreciate their players more. Updates are buggy almost every time and it hard to play when you can’t compete properly. ✓ Many hang up after updateMany buttons are not working. I can’t activate the quests on the left side of the game. It activates whatever happens to be under it. The green power button at top doesn’t work when pressed, so I can’t get to inventory. Also, I’ve noticed that I don’t receive double rewards after watching video. This has all happened after the recent upgrade getting rid of the Halloween inspired games. Before the update, there weren’t any issues of any kind. Using support is difficult. I am not interested in receiving emails; however, I’m sure that is the only way of getting information. Update: those glitches were taken care of, I believe. I just stopped trying to get additional objects by watching videos. I did continue to play. It is a mindless game to play when watching something. So would up the stars to at least 4. BUT, now August 2021, you complete a section or a game and an advertising game video pops up and locks you on that video. You cannot X out of it. Well you can if you wait for a minute. I am so not interested in these games as well as being forced to watch them if you want to continue to play the game. ✓ Great game but stuck!This is a really great game & many levels of play within each level. There’s lots of things to do, especially with continuous events going on! I love this game but haven’t been able to make any progress in the last couple months. I wish there were more options when it came to the puzzle games. All the puzzle games are fun except the treasure box. I hate this game & the majority of quest items from puzzles are for this one. I’ve made purchases but some of them are too pricey even with the sales. It’s especially frustrating when I have to play upwards of 10 times before getting what I need. And that’s not exaggerating, it’s happened more than once. Usually because when there’s an event, those items take precedence over any quest items needed. Doubly frustrating. Lately events happen back to back which adds additional gameplay but I can’t get what I need. Even if you would be able to craft flying time or a similar buff would be helpful. Buying the tools is too expensive. The only other gripe I have is energy. It doesn’t regenerate fast enough & it takes multiple tries sometimes to get items needed. At times I’ve had the same quests for over a week because I’ve had to wait to regenerate energy or use tools. Ridiculous. I love this game but I’m ready to pass. I understand you want to make money, but I’m not gonna drop $50-$100 every month just to make this game enjoyable..Version: 1.30.2
