✓ Issues with tutorialHey team, I used to play this game years and years ago, found it in an ad and wanted to play again. I don’t mind that my progress wasn’t saved (used an old Apple account I no longer have), but I can’t skip the tutorial which is just painful. Beyond that, some of the unskippable missions are making it very hard to want to continue playing. Im at the stage of upgrading my skill tree to increase my max keys. Now it says it’s free to skip the 4 hour wait time, however on pressing the skip button it asks me if I’d like to pay 36 of the special currency. Meanwhile keep in mind it literally locks me out of the option of being able to just continue dungeons unless I pay the 36 currency, which I’m not going to do..Version: 2.60.1
✓ Good game, but...There is a lot of in game transactions which I understand to a degree since it is f2p so I can give a little leeway. Everything takes a long time in this game which is not necessarily bad. For example things such as upgrading your traps or upgrading your key slots take hours so to speed it up you can watch ads. You can basically watch an ad to do anything in this game which takes the fun and the grind out of it. This review just focuses on the ad aspect of the game, as there are other negative aspects too. I remember playing this on my dads phone when I was young but never did I remember watching countless ads to get to where I was. Good gameplay but, for example, the fact that I have to watch an ad to keep my stuff in a heist mini game is weird. It's almost like it's guaranteed for you to lose so you have to watch it. Of course you don't have to, but who wants to wait days for an upgrade, you're vulnerable to attacks and someone might take your gems. Or who wants to lose all their rewards in a heist? ✓ I love it, however.....I just got it today and I feel like I’m already addicted to it, but when I was downloading the app, I read some other reviews about it and it seems like people are disliking some changes you have made in the updates. I wondered what they meant so I read some other ones but almost every single one had at least 4 stars and one dislike on the review, so I hope you won’t change anymore, I’m asking you not to change anymore because I am really enjoying what the game is like. If you think that there is an uptake you think everyone else will like, I’m fine with you(the developer) making the update/change, I’m not saying you can’t make any type of update, it’s just that some of the people who play this game don’t really like some of the update you make. ✓ Adult ads + how to understand this gameI got an ad about slot machines that had a theme of literally almost naked ladies. This game is for 9+ I’m pretty sure no parent want to let their kids see an ad about weird fantasy women with little to no clothing. Please fix this problem😕 Edit: I’ve only seen like two people with this problem and also some people hating this game for dumb reasons. 1- there would always be a player who steals your gem,so don’t get but hurt, also its the point of the game ( which makes me wonder how you didn’t see all the clues when you started to download this game)2- if you click on your character then click on that totem ritual, there is a potion that would decrease the chance of a player to steal your gem. ✓ Get this game it’s worth it!I didn’t mind the game when I first got it because then I deleted it because it started to get boring after a while because all you wanted to do was get on to a good league. With the new update with the club war things that hooked me into wanting to get more of the club points and made there another reason to play and not just be the best. Another thing is that If you get in a good spot on a league you get orbs so they’re not impossible to get and also the keys. I don’t know if you could upgrade the keys so you had more when I played it like a year ago but it’s a good idea that you can do something else with your money. So if u are deciding to get this game and u play it for like 10 mins and don't understand it, DO NOT DELETE IT. The more you play it, the better you will become at it. I love ALMOST everything about this game. The main thing that i don't like (and kind of the only thing) is that you can't buy coins. And in this game, coins are like, the most important thing! ✓ Great But a Few ProblemsIt’s great and it’s fun but there is just a few annoying problems. First, revenge raids. Multiple times people have stolen up to 60,000 coins from me and when I try to raid them back, I can only get like 2 or 3 thousand coins back which isn’t fair at all. Secondly, your gems stop when you lose one. There should be a setting or something you can turn on where if you lose a gem it’ll put another gem in. It would probably be best if you had the option to put in either a gem close to the stolen ones value, or just the gem worth the least in your inventory. Thirdly, making bases. Why do you have to save your base two times in a row? You should only have to finish it once to prove it’s possible. Its just annoying when you finish it once and then fail the next time and lose your other attempt. Lastly, keys. Not everyone wants to pay a bunch of money for a few keys so we watch ads. But, the purple locks take 3 keys each which converts to 1 ad per lock! That’s insane! There are also golden locks which take 6 keys to open which would convert to 2 ads for 1 keyhole! There just has to be a better way to get keys other than paying or watching a bunch of ads..Version: 2.43.1

✓ Good game!I really love this game, and even though people are getting trickier about their dungeons and making them nearly impossible in most cases, I still truly enjoy this game. The mechanics are fun and the little character and the way they move is adorable! The game has a cute art style that I never get bored of and gives it character. I only have one request though. When I try getting more costumes, if I get the same one (which is half the time), it only gives me one orb. Like, one time, I spent an eye and it gave me the same costume and 1 orb. Extremely annoying, if you ask me. Maybe you can make a system where you get a new costume every time? Please do this, or at least consider it. Over all, very good game to do in free time. However, i have some suggestions- Lucky item converting It would be cool if you added a system where you can convert a higher tier lucky item (i.e mushrooms) to 5 or 3 of the lower tier item (i.e 1 mushroom to 3 or 5 purple dust thingys) because it takes ages for a merging of gems to happen, only to get the item you don’t need. ✓ Bad weighs almost as much as the goodOk so my old review on this game was dorky and stupid. It also said I hate CATS, which I now like with the exception of my phone breaking down. This review is going to be better because I have read the reviews of other people. First off: A common hate from the KoT community. You make us do the dungeon twice before saving. People hate it, but I found a reason for it. Obviously players want to create the hardest dungeon. This means it would take a colossal amount of time to do it twice which you want. Second is to ban trap removal from dying 7 times. I always get stolen from that way. Third is to give dungeons to players based on their thrones. Also add gems to the levels which you only have one chance to get. Also add more gold because 3000 just isn’t enough. Also match dungeons with your lock amount. I see a dungeon with 12 gold locks and level 46 traps all the time so this is a big issue. I like the idea of consistent challenges and the whole league idea. I also like guild battles which I win because my guild is lucky enough to attract pros and help me win. I also think you should be able to get the new throne immediately after you upgrade the previous throne. This is keeping me from getting the Wise Judge throne. Also PLEASE add back the guild chat. ✓ Honest reviewSo I’m going to start off saying I love this game as a “game”. This game is up there with clash of clans level. It gained its developer’s pick early, stapling it into the core of the App Store as one of the “essentials”. This said the game, when it comes to “intense gameplay”, is purely designed around money making. I could give specific examples for around the time period of a week, but what good would that do for a newcomer to the game, who’s a novice to the fact. Everyone can play for free, few can pay to win, and the top one percent can pay to rule. That being said this is a great game. Take this as my resume to work for a company like this. Welcome to the real world am I right. Take money from those who don’t understand it, but are well off enough financially to withstand it. ✓ As good as I rememberThis game offers a unique experience, there’s barely any like it. the main gameplay loop is pretty fun and I remember having so much fun playing this for hours as a kid, but the game feels a bit more like a cash grab nowadays. while the whole game is littered with ads, they’re all optional for boosts, and the microtransactions aren’t so strong that it’s pay to win. the artstyle, like other zeptolab games is cute, and I have to praise the composer for the beautiful music. it’s a mobile game, so of course progression is slow, and catching up to veteran players is near impossible, but it’s engaging enough for me to be worth the time. I love the idea of having an idle game that lets other players take your loot when offline, and the dungeon design is so much fun. while I agree with other people that pixel perfect jumps aren’t that fun to encounter, it’s great to see how such precise platforming can come from a few simple traps. ✓ The vault heist is unfairThe first time I ever tried vault heist I got the best loot but then I came across a red guard it said that I could run and lose all my loot or feed him by watching a advertisement so I chose to feed the red guard but when I watched the advertisement it was too long I’m not saying that I don’t have any patients I’m saying it was too long after I watched the advertisement I kept on looting then another red guard came again and said I could run or feed him but I saw that I couldn’t feed him because I would need to pay 15 gems so I ran after that I tried another game of vault heist but the same problem happened again I wanted to try another game of vault heist but I didn’t have enough bombs so I waited. The next day it happens again and later on it kept going so this is why I am complaining about vault heist I hope the game fixes my arguments..Version: 2.34
✓ Great Game!I’ve had this game for a year, and I’m loving it. I have some issues though. I would like more levels and totems, cause I’m almost finished beating the levels, and it would be nice to still be able to make gems. And can getting coins be a little easier please? Oh, and one last BIG problem. I had a made a guild, and it was pretty dang good. Except one day I logged in, and I somehow was kicked out. Even though I was the leader. PLEASE FIX THIS! And also please make the guild battles more fair. I remade my guild, and somehow am currently going up against someone with 150 wins! And I’m pretty sure you measure the fairness by how many players are in each guild, cause that 150 wins guild has only one player. Please fix the fairness of the guild battles! Oh and thanks to my loses no one wants to join my guild, The Thief Crew. Edit: it’s been 2 years since ive got the game now, and there is a problem. With the guild. For some reason, when i tap the guild button up at the top of the screen, it says ‘unexpected error occured, try again later’. It does this every single time. ✓ No. 1 game...maybeThis game has enchanted me with an excitement that makes me want to play it nearly every day. No. 1 game...HOWEVER There are a few problems that could be easily fixed. Firstly, maybe the tutorial should be shorter and then when you meet new things, you get short explanations. I got very bored of the tutorial and I think others did too. Next, everyone who starts the game receives a lot of blue-magic-sphere things and then they spend them after the tutorial. Those tutorial players should get less at the start. ✓ Very good, but a few issuesOverall, a wonderful game. Gameplay, controls, all cool. HOWEVER! I feel I need to address some things. I have noticed that the option to report an impossible dungeon is no longer there. It was in previous versions of the game, so what happened? It's not like people have stopped making impossible dungeons. I have encountered many of them whilst playing, but haven't been able to report them. There is a bug with the lock pick count in the corner of the screen. Nothing particularly game-breaking, but sometimes when you try to pick a lock, the number in the corner doesn't go down, but the actual internal number of lock picks does. This hasn't caused anything more than a little confusion, but it would be great if that was fixed. Going off on a bit of a tangent here, reviews for this game have complained about the so-called "free to play, pay to win" model. While this can be true, the pop ups are easily ignored and you can get the same rewards that you could pay for by waiting. If your child is playing, there is an option in the settings in pretty much every phone/tablet you can play this on to prevent in-app purchases..Version: 2.20

✓ The King of Thieves reviewI partially like it because of all the quick moving you have to do to dodge the monsters. Another thing is the strategy. One is to go slow, another is to go fast in case of the fire producer monster thingy. Also I do like it because I just found out I need to save my gems to get higher rating, not just have them. And then I saved my gems to get two Orbs of Bounty. The last thing is, I really like how if you have level 1 and you still have the common set, you can still be really powerful..Version: 2.32.2

✓ Very Fun, could use a few changesKing of Thieves is a fun game where you steal gems from other players, and try to defend your gems other thieves, All with the goal to become the King of Kings, The small problem is matchmaking, at around level 20-30 you start hitting dungeons with diamond-skull tier traps (The two highest tiers) and the dungeons are very hard to beat. This is a common problem that can be solved with experience in the game. Some advice, get your traps to level 15+ with a decent layout before you start putting your valuable gems in. The last problem in my mind is beating the Gold Leauge. After that, you regain your title as “King of Thieves” but nothing really happens, and the game continues. The beginning part of the story all hypes up to this moment, and all you get is a bit of dialogue before you face the Emerald leauge. Other then that, great game, Highly recommended.Version: 2.29

✓ Great game full of CREEPSThe game exceeds expectations with many complex details that are simple to understand yet endlessly entertaining. This is the only game you need for hours free of boredom. However, I have been asked for my name, location, age, and where I’m from by two different players in guild chats. When I called the last one out and told other guild members not to give out personal info he got mad and told me to leave the guild. I convinced him I was a cop and his gamer tag had been tracked to his device and gps location for use of investigating kidnappings in his area. He kicked me out of the guild even though I was it’s second best player because he didn’t “want anyone in this guild who doesn’t trust [him]”. Don’t trust players by the names of “thanks” and “mohit” in the guild either “KOOKIES” or “KOOCKIES”.Version: 2.35

✓ Problem with the dungeonsSo this game is great and all, tons of interesting mechanics, intuitive and easy to follow, but once you go into late game, the game becomes impossible. Basically in order to get into the last league, you have to steal a absurd amount of gems just to not get demoted. If you don’t make the cut, you get demoted and it becomes a struggle to get first place in the Totemius to try and get promoted again to King of Kings league. And Im pretty sure the King of Kings league counts players from the entire world so of course it would be hard. But then why make it so that so many people get demoted? Just lower the number a bit and I’ll be fine. Then you have to make a good enough dungeon and you can’t put more than 1 gold gem in the totem or it will definitely get raided. If you want to enhance your 3 most powerful gems you have to spend orbs. And then the game allows some busted dungeons to exist like saw jumps. A saw jump is when you put a saw on the edge next to a gap so you have to jump on that few pixels of space on the ledge and avoid the saw. And that’s not even the hardest jump. ✓ This game is great but I have a few complaints.I love this game a lot and play it all the time. I have a few complaints though. First, why do you have to complete the dungeon twice? Its ridiculous and quite time consuming unless you have the quickie spell. Second, why is the living totem so hard and why such a small amount of health? Why doesn’t the trap disable if you die enough times and why are some of the dungeons almost impossible? You either have to stockpile orbs and disable trap potions or it’s impossible to beat. Third, how are you supposed to beat the leagues? Is there some secret to getting a ridiculously high rating? And why is there so many people that are a really high level in my league? Fourth, some of the people’s dungeons I view have maxed out the traps and their player level is only level 40. Are they hacking? The only thing that upsets me is that I keep putting keys into the fake locks on the random attack bit, and then when I go back to it, there is a different dungeon that it tells you to raid. This is annoying as I haven't got real money to spend on keys in a game and so I run out of keys and I wait for a new load, but find that dungeon I was about to raid and have put keys into has disappeared. Also, when I watch an advert it is normally an advert from TikTok. TikTok is a 13+ so isn't for little kids and some players of this game are little kids- King Of Thieves is rated 9+. I always make sure I have shield on before going offline. It’s also very funny to see all those skulls lying around there every time I get back! Because what is the point of going x games mode on it if I’m not going to get a fair reward?🤣also, when you attack other people’s dungeons for a gem or the amount of gold, and you try to break in, the lock picks always make sure you open them all before entering. ✓ Fun, addictive, and overly annoying (Emphasis on “annoying”)As you may know, you are a thief whom makes their way to the top of the leaderboard by collecting gems, this is actually quite fun. While challenging yourself to complete other’s dungeons, being cautious of the traps, you also have to create your dungeon and get through it twice in a row. This procedure is good, however, also extremely annoying, as you might make it through a hard dungeon setup, only to be turned down the second time around. Not only do setup the dungeon, you have abilities that you can upgrade, making it easier for you to do things. You even have an extremely extensive collection of skins for your thief, as well as a throne. The only problems: Do not play in a bad WiFi area, for it will reload you, losing all of your progress in a dungeon. The dungeon creator is also really annoying, as I have already explained, and the mass number of thieves at your door is also not helpful, making it extremely hard to make it through rituals, which get up to 12 hours😰. This game is overall fun, and I do suggest joining a guild, like mine....Version: 2.24.1

✓ I like it but, it’s tooThis game is fun and great it’s just a little raging sometimes. Like when someone breaks into your dungeon and steals like most of you coins then you here with like 2000 coins and can’t do anything with it. Then you go to get more, but it keeps on giving you ver difficult dungeons to do and up you can’t do them so you loose more of your coins skipping through looking for easy dungeons to go through. Then eventually you run out of keys and now there is nothing for you to do. Then once you get gems to fuse together someone just steals it after like 3 min of you starting the ritual and that just now happened to me while typing this. Yes the bases would’ve have to be tested and completed twice however that’s forgetting the fact that the builder would have unlimited attempts at completing the base where as a thieve would probably get down to one star. ✓ Good game, but it could use some help...I enjoyed the game while I played but started to realize a fundamental issue: You can never stop playing and be able to pick up where you left off. I.e, At one point I was a bit worn out from this game so I decided to take a break for a week. At the end of the week, I went back on to continue playing. It was then that I noticed how I had been raided over and over again. I had a lot of gold at the start of the week, but now, I was effectively at square one. But overall this isn’t terrible, rather, a bit of an annoyance. One other issue is the guilds. As one of the lessons you have to join a guild. After that you aren’t required to do anything else. This means you’ll often get stuck with people that joined for the quest reward, then will outright ignore everyone else. Maybe this would’ve lowered my rating, but you can ignore them, so I guess I am kinda overreacting. All in all, this is a good, fun game to play.Version: 2.40.1
✓ I can’t explain how great it isI started playing this game in 2015 or 2016 but I got so addicted to it after I got it. From the endless levels to the variety of players, this game is just amazing. I haven’t gotten that far in the game because of school and homework but, when I get the chance to play I stay on for an hour or so. One thing that I would like to have more of are the dungeons on the map. I have completed all 100 of the dungeons that are on the map and I would like if there were more. Also, I feel like players should get moved to higher levels after they beat a number of dungeons because I know of some players who gained the experience of a super high level but stay in a lower level to raid more dungeons (they do this intentionally) it’s a good way to get gems and money but it makes players feel unmotivated to play. I love the fact that you can design your own dungeon and that it’s not like a automated thingy, that you can join your own guild with no money cost, and you can create your own, and I also love how easy it is to fuse gems! This game is totally interactive; you can pretty much do anything you want when you want! There is one thing I’d like to address, however. One is that whenever I’m trying to retrieve gems for my guild mates, I have to almost be really bad at the dungeon to get the gem. When you are flawless on a dungeon, the spinner thingy spins really, really slowly, and you know you pretty much have no chance. However, I have no orbs all the time, and so I can’t spin again, and so if you save your orbs, this’ll be no problem. ✓ Amazing Game!!Let me start by saying that this game is great, amazing, and fun. If you are someone that only want a few games on your phone/iPad then i highly recommend this game. It has many different dungeons that you can raid and never get bored of because they are all different and are the home to different players. This game is also great because you get to interact with the players in your guild and share feedback on each others dungeon and help better your dungeon. The only thing that i have to complain about is that you get wayyyy to much notifications. Like every time your dungeon is raided you get a notification. Every time your gem is ready you get a notification. For some of the things i understand, but about half of the notifications i get, are a not important so if you get this game i highly recommend that you turn off the notifications. ✓ Annoying dungeonsI enjoy playing this game, it’s pretty good, and I’d give it a 5-star if not for one issue. How annoying other players’ dungeons can be. Sometimes, to last more than one second in a dungeon, you need to have sub-frame perfect taps, I don’t know if that’s even a thing but that’s what it feels like. Dungeons with jumps that have to be timed exactly, combined with traps that take 20+ health away, trying to get to the end loses value very quickly, as the amount of gold you’ll get goes from 30,000 to 534 in seven attempts. I’m not sure how you could fix this issue, because it is completable, it’s just downright stupid. I thought I’d mention it anyway because I don’t see anyone else doing it. Having to do frame-perfect jumps makes the game less fun..Version: 2.56.1

✓ Fun and addictingI got this game several years back, I forgot about it... So when I got a new phone I decided to download it. I’ve had it about for a week and it’s just as fun as I remember. Stealing gems and gold, joining a guild, making a dungeon, and doing the other fun things this game has to offer. It’s been going pretty smooth , but yesterday something started happening. I’m not sure if it’s King of Thieves or just Apple , but this Game Center thing keeps popping up I try to close it but it just won’t stop. So I tried making an account, it didn’t work. The game crashes every time I open it. This game is awesome other than this. It might just be my phone. I totally recommend it. Thanks! Bye. EDIT: Ok! I got the Game Center thing fixed! ✓ Good ideaSteal gold and gems and upgrade traps etc but your dungeon and everyone else's must still be possible to be stolen from. This is because saving your dungeon needs for you to complete your own twice in a row. Good idea but more can be added.Version: 2.1

✓ One slight issueThis is game is amazing and is really fun to play. However, there is one issue that bugs me, it is that when you have to save your dungeon, you have to save it twice so if you have a dungeon that is hard to complete, it will take you ages. ✓ NotificationsI’ve been playing this game for a while and overall a very good game. No lags, nothing perfect and very addicting to wanna keep starting the game up. My only issue is when I first started the game I accidentally didn’t pay attention and canceled notifications and I always put notifications on any game I play because it’s important obviously. So I figured I could go into settings and go and turn it on and it won’t let you for some strange, dumb reason. The game has a help menu basically for questions to help you understand with or any concerns with the game. So I go and find notifications on off help and it says to just delete the game with your saved data in iCloud and play through the hole tutorial which you played through already when you start. So desperate as I am because I wanna know when upgrades,gems, or raids on my dungeon get finished and I go through the hole tutorial and I turn notifications on and load up my original account and it didn’t work at all and I did exactly as “customer service Q/A” did and it didn’t work so maybe in a future update possibly can you please, please fix where you can switch notifications on in the settings. Let me ask you this, why is a on/off for notifications is in the settings if you can’t even turn it on? PLEASE FIX IT..Version: 2.35
✓ Great gameNow at level 40 and about to win the gold cup, don't know what will be left to achieve after that. Keeps me checking my phone for upgrades completing and raising more dungeons. Still some impossible dungeons to skip past, and upgrades taking 24hours each to complete is tiresome. Still playing it though at least until I make it into a top guild..Version: 2.1
