✓ Pay to PlayIt’s fun at first, but once you get to level 40 you enter the stage where you play players of all levels. So mostly level 100-1000s. It makes it impossible to raid a dungeon, steal gems and defend your own. All the fun is gone after that unless you pay for upgrades. Keys to enter dungeons is also rigged to make sure its almost always the last lock you pick. Then you have to watch 10 ads to play more than 1 game..Version: 2.49.1
✓ Slight problemThis might just be the quality of my device, but the game seems to crash a lot. I’ve noticed it happens a lot after raiding a dungeon, and when I try to receive a unique gem. ✓ Note to parents or childrenThere are spells and totems and rituals like who gives this to 9 year olds, it is a really dark game, parents, please do not let your children play this game, instead you can play CATS still a game from Zeptolab, it is fun and highly entertaining, this game has lots of witchcraft and darkness, by dark I mean spiritually, as I said above, it has loads of rituals and spells. ✓ BUYER BEWARE, TOTAL SCAM, STOLE MY MONEYThis game is a total disappointment. It had the potential to be a really cool platformer that eventually went to steam with all the good games. However instead the developers went with the normal mobile game feel and made the game basically impossible to progress in unless you pay for things. You can only do like 2 raids an hour because barely get any lock picks, it’s almost impossible to finish a ritual without your gem being stolen at least once, upgrading traps or anything in the tech tree to a point of being useful is almost impossible because the cost of each upgrade goes up so fast, and worst of all to save base you have to beat it twice in a row. Like why, if you beat it once you’ve proved it’s possible so why do you have to beat it twice in a row. With just these problems I would have rated it 3 stars as the game is still kinda fun. But then something horrible happened. I decided to purchase a month of the king’s grace for 5 dollars so the game could actually be fun. And after I gave away my 5 dollars, NOTHING, NOTHING HAPPENED. ✓ MehI have played this game before but it was a while ago and I eventually deleted it, From experience it is a great game but apparently now it doesn’t work and whenever I try to play it it just comes up with a loading screen that says something about downloading data, and after about three minutes of waiting it says something like ‘resources download has failed, please retry’. ✓ Good game but too many hackers.I’ve had this game since its release. It’s probably one of the most unique concepts of a pvp puzzle platform game I’ve ever seen, and this alone is the only reason this game doesn’t have only one star. I’m not sure when it was but I had quit the game some time back because I started seeing hackers pop up that negate traps entirely without using trap removal, and who can create unbeatable dungeons that would require you to jump through traps to beat them like sawblades. I came back recently thinking that the devs may have already implemented something to change this over the time I was away but, indeed they still exist and I’ve seen more of them now than I did back then. I report these players but I don’t think it does anything. Bottom line the game is great but with the community of hackers bringing it down, this game is probably more of a hacker paradise than a fun playground for honest puzzle loving players. ✓ It’s fun till you play more than a little past the tutorialI’ve been playing this game for quite some time now, and I’m enjoying it. But there is one problem that brings my rating down three stars. That is, if you really want to have a fun time playing this game, you need two main resources: keys, and the blue orb thingies. And to get those you either have to level up (orbs and keys) or wait/watch a video to get more (keys). The problem though, is that to level up to get keys/orbs, you need keys to do the things to get experience points. Meaning, you have to have keys to get keys. And if you run out of keys at any point in the game, you’re either gonna have to buy them with real world money, or wait a few hours to get a decent amount of keys. I hope that if you’re not prepared to spend a lot of money on a free mobile game quite a bit, that this review helped you in some way. And if developers actually read reviews, then zeptolab, I’d be more than happy to play your high quality, fun games if they weren’t such a money grab for people wanting to just play casually with no interruption. ✓ Fun but it’s rigged.I’m having fun with this game playing with my son but the game is misleading in the chances you have on winning gems and opening doors. When you unlock doors by trying to find the locks, if you see ten locks, logic would dictate that you have to simply hit the right lock to open the door. This is simply not the case. 60% of the time, I have to remove every lock to open the door. 20% of the time, it’s the second to the last lock. Leaving all other options at 20%. The chances of happening is astronomical unless the door lock puzzle is misleading or rigged. The game also has a gem steal chance spinner. If you land in the green zone, you win the gem. The green space does not show your actual chances of winning the gem, in my experience, the chance is a mix of slightly better chance of winning to impossible of what the green zone shows. It seems to largely depend on your level, the size of the gem you’re trying to win, and how the game feels about you at the moment. As long as you can get past the thought of the game deciding when you win rather than the fictitious chances it presents you, you’ll like the game, hence three stars..Version: 2.37

✓ My opinionThis game can be a lot of fun, addicting, and innovative, with lots of fun dungeon combos this can be a great game to spend ur time on! however. it is very pay to win, you need gold and keys to do just about everything, can become very grindy and can become boring and frustrating at times. being how the entire game progresses around keys and good, you’d think they’d be free, nope. stupid waiting system like every other game. on top of all that. almost every dungeon you come across past level 12 thief level are almost entirely comprised of pixel perfect jumps that you have no way of knowing how to do, unless of course. you spend money or buy power ups with money. you can say you just need more skill, but some jumps you need to perfectly time frame for frame to pull off, sometimes multiple impossible jumps in the same dungeon, on top of this, the system when you get raided is stupid. you could spend 30$ on a gem just for it to be taken awhile with doing a ritual, and if they just so happen to have a stupidly hard dungeon, ITS GONE. no getting it back ever. you have one chance at ur own gem, even if u spend days or hours trying to get it. this brings me to the conclusion that this game is for cringetard loser little kids who sit around all day trying to make the gayest dungeon possible. stupid game, bad community. bad guild system. bad raid system. bad life system. bad key system. ✓ What a terrible waste of time.This game is an absolute waste of time. No one wants to throw out their good gems so you end up spending hours and all your gold trying to find a decent gem. ✓ Just not fun anymoreI’ve played this game for YEARS and have always had a great time playing it with little to no issue, however the events that have been released just aren’t fun to play. They’re made for you to lose and entice you with “free” rewards. There was an event where you had to pick a chest and had a 25% chance to lose in the beginning (and should’ve remained that way throughout the entire game) but once you reach level 7 or higher the odds scramble and it increases your likely good of picking the wrong chest. How is this possible you may ask if there are still 4 chests and only 1 of them is a loss. Simple, I looked into the coding and ran some elementary level probability charts and even a blind person could see that the game is stacked against you and doesn’t give you fair odds. Disappointing really. You don’t get people to play your game my messing with the setting behind their back when they start to get good rewards. That’s how you lose players. And you’ve lost another one. I’m not mad because I lost, I’m mad that I didn’t and you lied about the odds..Version: 2.42

✓ It’s a pretty good gameOverall I think this is a good game, it has interesting gameplay and when it gets new features they are generally interesting and add to the fun of the game. However, if anything goes wrong, unless it is something that they see is something that went wrong on their end, support really won’t help. I had experienced around 1200 orbs (games premium currency) vanish from my account and I didn’t know why, so I opened a support claim. After telling them that nearly 2 years worth of collected premium currency vanished, and around when I noticed it, they deemed that “nothing went wrong on our end, sometimes you have to realize resources are scarce, we’re sorry have a nice day”. They didn’t bother try and help me with my problem, they simply said it wasn’t us and that was that, so needless to say it wasn’t “a nice day” Tldr; it’s a pretty good game, but if anything goes wrong support might screw you.Version: 2.32.2
✓ Good game, money hungry developersThe game is rigged to make you have to purchase things. Good example is the chest opening event. The chests spawn and open, show you the rewards, close and shuffle. You have a 1/4 chance to spawn a red guard, resulting in a loss, thus needing to pay orbs (money) to continue. It’s not 1/4 though as advertised. I have played about 200 rounds of the event and have never, ever spawned a red guard on the first set of chests, despite it showing as a possibility. Funnily enough on the 3rd of 4th set of chests I seem to only ever get red guards. I’d argue it’s chance but I should have hit a 25% chance on my first set of chests in such a large sample size..Version: 2.40.1

✓ Great Game butLove the mechanics, very entertaining but the developers are legit hungry for money. One example of this is the New bomb chest event where you choose a random chest and get prizes it’s like betting but if you end up with the ‘red guard’ you lose. Now I got up to lvl 24 the last was 25 which was very lucky and I still hasn’t used a video to get myself out of something. Normally if you lose once you have the chance to watch 1 video and next time you lose you have to pay if you want your stuff. That’s fair enough I have screen shots it happening every time before the 20th go. Ok so now I’m getting rich and I still haven’t used the video to help me so if I mess up now I can use it. However when I did mess up its gave me the option to pay 100Oorbs which is £3 to be exact, that’s disgusting especially as normally it’s supported to be one fifth of that. ✓ My opinion.Don’t get me started. The game is very cute and stuff. But I wanted to get a personal pass for the guild crazyness so my mom bought it but I didn’t get it. So first I kinda got scammed second it was my birthday. Anyways the leagues are hard there are some hackers and when you reach lvl 20 you already have to do perfect timing jumps and ppl steal your gems very easily. The guild are fine but a bit to long to get to an arena. Getting your to lvl 2 is way to hard. And the ads makes it so glitchy. The animations and graphics are smooth. ✓ Fun, not so fun customer service.Alright, so here we go. The game itself, can be very entertaining. However, they practically force feed you micro transactions.. Almost everything costs huge amounts of the in game currency “orbs” and if you make an accidental orb purchase, spend orbs by mistake, they refuse to reverse it. Aside from that, the game is fun, well balanced for the most part. The customer service team in my experience, is COMPLETELY worthless. I’ve been on this game for a little over a year now, spent countless dollars, as well as hours on it. Every single time I’ve reached out to the support staff, I’ve gotten zero results, excuses, and overall pathetic service. Being a business owner myself, I feel I have a very good understanding of customer service. Again, only in my personal experiences, ZeptoLabs’ support team could stand to learn a thing or two. ✓ The game escalates way to fastSo I got to level 76, which you might think is pretty far until you notice that most of the levels are easy but some are really hard and leave you confused like 76, this level has crystal traps that deal around 20-30 health and you have to do a time prefect jump after dodging everything to be able to get over the cliff not to mention the fact that if you miss the jump you will die making this the most difficult level in the area. And you really should make a balance player system, because if you level up your 1 key required locks you will go see other dungeons that will now have 6 key gold lock out of nowhere, and if you even think that you can have fun just playing the normal thing then are you even playing, you get over to the next are and POW you got gold level enemy’s with purple 3 key locks, next area? Crystal level enemies with gold 6 key locks. This game escalated too quickly and is kinda unfair to the player, let alone the other people making a death trap for there dungeons that are just stupid and impossible for the beginner players. ✓ FrustratingThis game used to be pretty fun, but now it’s gotten impossible to enjoy. Gems are stupid ridiculous to retrieve even if you pay orbs. I’ve had 3 stars, paid 4 times and STILL could not get my gems back. Stealing gems are harder now too as the matchmaking is with players way above my own level. Don’t bother trying to combine gems, you’ll lose it every time and it’s better to just pay for the finish because of how many times it gets stolen. It’s always players with ridiculously impossible dungeons even if you disable their traps. Every jump has to be perfect to the pixel or you’ll never keep your gems or steal them. It’s no wonder so many players in guilds become inactive, this game is too frustrating to play. Can’t finish rituals, can’t steal gems, retrieve the same gem 5 times or fail 5 times. It makes NO sense how every time you make a ritual, someone seems to get it the first attack but everywhere you go, it takes 5-8 tries with 3 stars. ✓ Pay to win at its worst.Update: so a year later and they still are not able to make the raiding on this game fun. One of the primary problems is the number of potions people can use when raiding. They allow you to use three so about 80% of dungeons can be three starred with relative ease. Instead of just reducing this number to a more reasonable one, they keep adding new features to try to make the game "fun". But what they're actually doing is adding more ways to try to get you to spend orbs which is they're in game currency. Now a lot of games do this for understandable reasons. This game takes it to a whole new level. It didn't used to be is bad but it has basically become pay to win. The competitions that they have if you want any chance of winning be prepared to spend tons of orbs. Overall this game has lost all appeal and fun. It used to be my favorite game to kill time with, now it's my favorite game to make me want to kill myself with..Version: 2.20

✓ Good game but there are definitely some bad things about itKing of Thieves is a good and fun game to play but I have been hit and struck with so many bad things in my history of playing the game that it just makes me wanna stop playing sometimes. I raided a dungeon and I was supposed to get 180,000 coins (I used a 2x potion) and the game didn’t even give me my coins (nor the potion) back. Another thing is that the max daily login chest is a disappointment because you only get 40 orbs which isn’t enough for like 3 or 4 weeks of non-stop logins. ALSO, when your gem gets stolen you only have a 25% chance to get it back IF YOU GET 3 STARS!!! I find this extremely unfair and annoying because I have had times where I get 3 stars and use 20 orbs and STILL LOSE MY GEM, and whenever you do get lucky enough to “retrieve” your gem it doesn’t take it away from the attacker it only gives you a duplicate of your gem. Also it takes FOREVER to fuse gems, I mean 3 or 5 hours for a 2500+ value gem. I think It should be 2 hours for <2000 and 4 hours for 3500+ this is only my opinion though..Version: 2.45.1

✓ Great game but what’s the point of levels?This game is really fun expect for the part of impossible bases but regardless the only problem I would have with this is the levels. I’m a hardcore fan I played for 2 years but after 1 year you guys got rid of the point of during the levels. Before it used to be for get a new base but since you changed it all you can get is the mining places which nobody really cares about. I think you guys can fix this by add cool rewards like the spinner hits a random thing (of course there could be no rewards) but like 10k coins, 100 tears and 20 orbs and it gets hard which means better rewards. Also pleas bring back the rewards of winning the arena form last years because it gave so much loot which made me better , I loved it too bad you took it away. Another thing is to bring back the chat because it’s always better to get tips form your guild mates but why would you , you only care about the money. ✓ Pay to Win garbage.I used to like this game. Y’know, until I played a game similar (Burgle Cats) and realized it’s pay to win. Once you grind up to winning your bronze guild, you have to use at least half a year grinding gold to make your traps actually DO something, figure out how to make some super cheap dungeon that is what we call “The unbalanced Meta”, and if you DON’T want to spend 10 years grinding all that out; Don’t worry! ✓ Events that resemble gamblingThe gameplay itself is incredibly fun, just make sure you don’t spend any money or do any events (no matter how good the rewards look), or you could end up losing a lot of orbs (premium currency). If your device for whatever reason disconnects while you’re playing an event, any orbs you spend and the loot you tried to get are immediately lost, as the support team won’t refund them, even if it’s not your fault. When you’re playing an event, if you lose, like die or find a red guard, you can revive yourself by spending a exponentially-growing amount of orbs. Why you would do this would be like “yeah there’s a chance I can get more loot!”, but never do this, as your orbs could all go, and it resembles gambling. If the events were more fun and you couldn’t revive (based off pure skill), I would have rated higher..Version: 2.35.1

✓ Cheating ProblemCame back to the game for nostalgic reasons as I played it (and loved it) when I was in middle school and I am now almost done with college. The game is pretty similar to how it was back then except there is a major issue with hackers. Unbeatable bases, fazing through your traps, always taking your highest rated gem, etc. I tried to ignore it at first but after I spent 3 hours following a video guide on a pixel perfect base all for a cheater to walk right through my traps and steal my highest rated gem I called it quits. The report function seems to give no feedback and or not even do anything at all. And upon contacting support for assistance they tell me there is nothing they can do. I see no point in playing a game that all your progress is going to be stolen from you by someone like this. If you are like me and wanted to return don’t even bother. And if you’re looking for a new game this one is probably not going go to be worth it because of these issues and careless developers..Version: 2.60.2
✓ Frustrating gameI have downloaded this game twice, hoping to give this game another chance, but I still ended up deleting it feeling disappointed. The game is addicting and fun at first, and I like how you can set up your own base and then test it out. However, once you level up and get to higher leagues it gets harder. You spend so much time building up the gems you have, but then they get stolen by other players and it’s very difficult to retrieve them. That’s the thing that I found to be most frustrating about this game. To retrieve a gem you have to pass through the base belonging to the player who stole from you. If you’re lucky the player’s base will be easy, or you can use potions to help you get through a tough base. But then all of that effort goes to waste when you pass the base and you spin a spinner to get your gem back. Most of the time the spinner won’t let you keep your gem, even if you passed through the base without losing any lives. You can spin the spinner multiple times for “orbs” (which are hard to get in the game unless you spend money on them) but even then there’s little chance you can get the gem back. In my opinion, it should be just as easy to retrieve gems as it is to steal gems from other players..Version: 2.45.1
✓ Good game but...Honestly let’s get this out of the way, it’s amazing. But there are a few reasons that make this game very annoying 1. If you steal your gem back from somebody, you don't get a guaranteed chance of getting it back! Only P2P people can, which leads me to... 2. If you want to do well you have to break into your wallet, free to play people have got no chance in surviving in this game, just constantly raided by people with infinite power ups. 3. when you run out of HP you can still keep raiding that base, which makes it so you don’t need skill to get the drop, only luck or orbs. 4. While raiding others myself, some dungeons are impossible or need frame perfect jumps to succeed in raiding. ✓ HorrificIt was like this game was specifically designed by the developer team to make you rage quit. I routinely think to myself while playing this game “ why am I playing this? I’m not having fun. I hate this game”. There’s not even anything I can specifically mention to fix it. The game in general just pisses me off. Every single aspect of it. It just gets harder and harder, forces you to watch more and more ads to keep up and you just can’t ever win. Nothing you do is satisfying anymore. Gems take so long to finish that by the time you’re done every valuable gem you’ve used has been stolen and your combination is worth a grand total of like 5000 points despite taking 5+ hours to complete. When you can easily get a 2000 point gem raiding a base in under 10min. I’m just never happy playing this game anymore. My general mood logging in each day is “Ughhhhh”. ✓ Balance? What’s that?Don’t get me wrong I love this game but balance is broken for matchmaking. Yeah it matches you with people of the same level +- about 1-2 levels but this causes some issues. I’m currently level 23 and some of the people I’m matched with have very high level traps for my level, some people even have max level traps! This really isn’t fair since 1 hit would easily take out most of my life and this doesn’t include the people with max level door locks, which takes 72 lock picks just to open. This isn’t an issue though if you pay $5 a month to get 10 times the lock picks, so someone with level lock pick capacity could easily unlock max level doors. Not to mention all the other perks you get for paying $5 that puts you in a major advantage. Only reason I’m not giving this 1 star is because I thoroughly enjoy the game. TL;DR Some people at low-mid levels have very high level traps and paying a few dollars a month give you a major advantage.Version: 2.23.1

✓ Style o thieve/basedIn the style o thieve the only skin you can get are the worst ones the gray ones. I put 3 eyeballs 6 mushrooms and 7 magic dust or what ever that stuff is called and I got a skin I’ve had forever and I got 1 orb for it... also about the bases my throne is the Forseer level 9 and still I can’t even 1 star bases that have max lvl traps because they 4 hit me sometimes 3 hit and it’s impossible to get higher cause I can’t even finish a ritual without losing more rating than getting it. So once you hit where I am it’s pretty much impossible to go up because the only way you can get rituals done is by orbing them which you need to save up from guild wars so you can FINALLY just orb your ritual. And when you’ve finally gotten a base your proud of and happy with it uh-oh your totem broke now what will you do? Buy orbs or move to the next one? ✓ Pixel Perfect Dungeons & Inappropriate AdsRated as a children’s game, the developers of this game have unfortunately allowed 1-too-many inappropriate sexual advertisements to enter your content. Further, after reaching a certain level (40ish), the dungeons start becoming near-impossible to clear; it seems like 90-95% (quite literally) of all higher-level players have some sort of either bot-created or pixel perfect dungeon. I’m unaware if some users pay for that privilege or not, but it makes it feel quite unfair for non-paying users. I’d be happy to chat more & potentially change my rating if the developers implemented the following changes: #1 - Install a 1-min. timer (in addition to the double-pass save feature) on the dungeon creation save feature (& disallowed any/all attempts to save that same ‘impossible’ dungeon for at least 48 hrs.), #2 - Update their internal software to severely limit &/or remove pixel-perfect jumps altogether, & #3 - At least give give the opportunity to change ad preferences, up to allowing users to flag & remove any illicit advertisements, short of the developers disallowing such content from the start. I’ve spent a long time thinking about creative solutions for ya’ll to be able to make this game better, more fun, & potentially even more widely received. My hope is that you can take these constructive criticisms & considerations to heart with ease..Version: 2.48
✓ GlitchyWhen I got this game it was great, addicting, awesome but I started to come across some glitches, when I would watch a video to get some keys when it would say you received 2 keys it would freeze the screen and I would have to go out and open the game again, and if I wasn’t lucky my keys wouldn’t save and I would be stuck at zero, another glitch that I came across is that when I would be close, or at the end of some ones dungeon it would kick me out of the game. I first picked it up when I was in middle school, then lost the phone I was using at the time and forgot about it for a while, only recently picking it up on my way to senior year. It's everything that I remember it to be, but that isn't necessarily a good thing. My phone was pretty old and my internet speed was slow when I started out, so I could forgive the game crashing every once in a while, and I had a lot of fun playing the game. Since I started playing the game yesterday when I downloaded it, it hasn't been able to stay open for longer than three minutes consecutively. It constantly crashes, and I'm about at my breaking point with trying to play. My internet goes at Mach speeds, my device is recent and fully up to date update wise, and I cannot understand why the game crashes so much. ✓ Decent Game, but to much watch to Win AdsThis game is pretty decent and has a very interesting concept, unique to many other mobile games. However, it will tend to ask you to watch an ad for a reward very, very often. This allows for people to just watch to win at many things which is frustrating and boring, but you feel the need to watch them to succeed. Also another problem that is a bit harder to explain is that the game doesn’t warn you of some things. For example, do the catacombs/“temple run” will not warn you that when you revive or pay to leave after dying, that you will loose some rewards. These kind of situations happen to often. My last comment is that they need to make it easier to find guilds. At least add search settings to make it easier to find guilds that are active, and joinable, more like clash of clans.
