✓ Worth the waitA beautiful game. Very well thought through, with a compelling plot, detailed scenery and impressive voice actors. Although I sometimes grumble to myself about the slow energy refill it is probably for the best. I would have finished months ago and be waiting on the next chapters by now. This game must have taken a lot of time and effort to create, I’m glad it wasn’t all over in a few days. The graphics are extraordinary, and minute details are included. Every search scene has relevant items to the location, there is always logic to the hiding places. The map is very useful, there are so many locations! Logic and whimsy are combined with excellent storylines. I am looking forward to the next chapter immensely. Not all good things are instant!.Version: 2.2.0

✓ Addictive, but....The graphics in this game are fantastic as is the game itself, however I have the same complaint as everyone else in that the energy is consumed so quickly that it is impossible to play for more than a few minutes, and way too expensive to continually pay for energy, especially when it only lasts a few minutes too! It is also a really slow process waiting for the energy to automatically increase. I have seen mention of being able to watch ads as a way of increasing energy and despite upgrading to the latest version (I even uninstalled and reinstalled) I am unable to find anywhere to watch ads. ✓ It’s interesting,fun comes with a lot of twists,but it’s rlly time consuming!I’ve had this game for over 2 years now and I still haven’t finished all of them! It has nice graphics and fun gameplay and I play it at night and in the morning! I would recommend this to anyone with patience or someone who is willing to spend money on this game. I would also like to recommend this to anyone with a strong stomach and basically anyone who got through the whole squid game without being intrigued or disgusted. What I think should change and what all of think should is The Who long energy takes to regain and how much is used during the gameplay. What I mean is that when you do a hunt or when you are looking for something in the game it could take 100+ to get all the items out of the way. Then it would cost a lot of money or a lot of patience to even play again. I know they have to make money and all since it they have to pay everyone but they should they should think more about the gamers then their money. They keep saying they will change it but it still takes forever it still costs a lot of energy and it takes a ad or two to get so more energy. Another pro is that it doesn’t have a bunch of ads. ✓ EnergyI really enjoy playing this game, the graphics and everything is amazing. There’s just one flaw that stands out for me; the energy and the amount of time it takes to refill it. It’s takes over a day to refill the energy bar and it doesn’t take very long for the energy level to run out while playing the game. So maybe make it so there’s 1 new energy every 3 minutes? ✓ Great gameOverall, I’ve started playing this game and it’s unreal! The graphics, characters, story line, voices , everything is absolutely on point! I think everyone can agree with this one, the energy levels. One really big disappointment in the game. I love the fact there are no ads, but definitely are trying to get you to purchase energy, as you have no other choice as it takes far too long to refill! Other then that, I’m hooked! ✓ Amazing, but…Why would a game of this calibre make you wait for energy to REPLAY a level? I get it for new levels but this really kills the vibe. To the developers, since it takes about 6 months for each update, I’d pay for new stuff but not for things I’ve already done. Are people paying so they can say they played for 3 hours straight? I don’t think so. And good luck to you if they do. My opinion is you should sell the game for a price and save everyone the headache. Aside from the commercials it is a brilliant game. ✓ Not sure about the energy systemNot sure it’s good or bad, the energy system is weird experience in this game, just like any of the other G5 games, the graphic is great, storyline great, music everything just awesome, just hard to get finish because of the energy system, asked player to pay money buy those energy, this idea is super super bad. I’d rather purchase one go instead of waiting energy is really slow, for the whole day only get like 80 energy and you probably don’t know how it get spend in game and pretty much equally of allow to play 3 mins per day which is ridiculous... thinking uninstalled it..Version: 5.1.1
✓ Decent but....Murder In The Alps is a really good game and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing it with nail biting investigations and story lines. There’s only a two things the (for me) let the game down such as, • Waiting for energy refills every 24hrs is a waist of time and you have to use so much energy for tasks that aren’t worth using energy. I can understand for bigger task such as the comic part but for handing someone an item (personally) I think is ridiculous. • And I have finished all the mysteries up to the most recent chapter “The Heir” and am still waiting for the next story to release, I have been waiting a good few weeks now and considering how long the game has been out for I think it’s quite ridiculous that they are taking all this time to come up with another chapter. I was considering deleting this game but I really want to finish it so if the manufacturers could please sort this so I can enjoy the rest of the game. ✓ Needs improvementThis game is amazing I love the storyline so far and everything about it except for one thing. This energy party of the game takes so much fun out of the game not to mention disrupts gameplay like I understand you need to make money somehow but maybe you could take away the party where u need energy just for a conversation and that you could change it so each chapter could cost like 30-50 energy depending on how long it is. Then it won’t disrupt the gameplay as much and could play it a lot longer in a day. Also the fact it takes 8 min for ONE energy is really slow considering some things cost 20 energy so that basically mean (if my math is right) it will take about 2 hours to get 20 energy. Which is a long time so instead why can’t passes be a thing in this game one pass for one chapter and you get 3 or 2 a day ya can for more as well and it takes 1-2 hrs to refill because that would be 2-3 chapters done.Version: 4.1

✓ One of the best mystery game I ever played, however...This game is amazing, I don’t know where to start. When I first started playing the game I thought it would be like other mystery games I’ve played in the past but it really was astonishing and amazing. The storyline is well put together and graphics was the icing on the cake that tied everything together! Although this game is great there’s also some things that I don’t like. You need certain amount of energy to progress in the game and by the time you get into it, the energy runs out which leads you to buying a whole lot of energy just to continue or you have to wait a whole day for your energy to fill up. I think that they need more ways for us to earn more energy because you need a whole lot just to get through the game and that’s not fair. Also I’m so happy that they just came out with another story!! I’ve been waiting for months now, I thought about deleting the app because it was taking too long but patience is key! ✓ Love it but am sort of annoyed...I love this game. The graphics, the story line and the characters are very well done and I love the way it’s got me hooked at every moment. However, as said by many others, the energy system doesn’t allow for much play each day, and with only gaining 10 energy after watching one video I feel the amount of people to play this will reduce quickly. Please reconsider only receiving 10 energy for ads and maybe lowering the amount of time needed to regain energy. ✓ Beautiful and ExcellentThis is one of the most beautifully made games I have ever played via the App Store. The graphics are so good, the characters believable and the chapters well put together making you want to invest time in finding out the conclusion. The sights and sounds in each chapter always look and sound wonderful, I’m always excited to see when a new addition is released. Also the music! The music used is really very good and fits perfectly! The only drawback as many others have already said is the time waiting for the energy needed to work through the game to recharge. You can of course purchase energy but so much of it is used in even the smallest move in the game that you would be spending a lot very often. I have purchased energy before but it’s not something I will do frequently as it is expensive. If I wanted to give something back to the developers as this really is a truly enjoyable game!.Version: 7.0

Initially I had a problem with how long it takes for energy to be refilled, but then they’ve added a feature where you can watch ads to fill up 20. ✓ Great gameJust looking at the reviews here and seeing a lot of moaning and groaning about the energy problem. Yes it takes a long while to get a full bar of energy but what I do is play just once a day, that way I have a nice bit of energy and hopefully a few adverts to watch at 20 energy rewarded for each. These ads are short guys, compared with ads in other games I play which are usually 30secs, these ads are like 5secs on average so thanks to Nordcurrent for that. I started playing before the ads were available and they are a great addition to the game. The game does get the occasional glitch/freeze, I’ve had 3 but each time I’ve contacted Support and they have fixed it and give me a nice bonus of energy. My only moan? I’ve finished the game so far and waiting for the next chapter😢 Oh and by the way I haven’t had to spend any money on this quality game.Version: 2.1.0

✓ Beautiful, and benefits outweigh the cost.First of all, the stunning art style must be addressed. It is probably one of the games with the nicest graphics. The animation, though slight, still helps bring the whole thing to life. The graphics are super realistic and have an almost surreal quality. Then, there’s the interspersed comic-like scenes, which are also beautifully drawn. I would highly recommend it just to experience the art. Now, I mainly wrote this review to address the concerns people have about this app: namely, people complain about the energy, and that it takes too long and the developers want money. First, although the energy runs out fast, the system’s improved and you can simply watch a video to gain 20 energy. Doing this repetitively makes it very easy to get though parts of the game quickly. Secondly, there’s nothing wrong with watching those ads; it’s a relatively short amount of time for the fun payoff, and the developers do need money. There’s nothing wrong with that, especially since the payoff is good storylines and stunning visuals. That takes a lot of equipment and, more importantly, talented artists who need to be paid. ✓ Amazing graphics and interactive AF (new edit, energy ratio..)Ok new edit: The energy bar drops dramatically This is the first game I’ve ever spent money on to buy energy (you guys have me hooked!) but that energy didn’t even last that long... The ratio between needing energy for different tasks and the 8 min wait for ONE energy is a really fine balance; but it stops me from just speed blasting through the game I guess. BUT when I had to shovel the snow to get to somewhere, and I had to repeat the SAME action of shovelling THREE times. And EACH time it took 5 energy. That’s 15 energy to just shovel snow?? The same action, you’re telling me was worth 15 energy (120 minutes wait to recharge)???? That was upsetting ——————————— I love the art, and I love the little achievements (like “freezing the screen” cause I got annoyed when I couldn’t find an object and pressed too many times lol). And it’s not just spotting and finding object in an image, but they can also be hidden which in turn becomes it’s own interactive minigame (on top of other puzzle and minigame) I also love that it encourages you to explore whatever page you’re on, so you find little collectibles that give you energy. This game has great potential, but it is a game for developers to only make money buy getting players to buy energy and strategy manuals. The game would be enjoyable if it did not take forever and a day to get energy. You can wait a whole day an not get enough energy to do anything. The game starts with 400 energy. Then you can earn energy by connecting to Facebook, and liking their page, and a 1 time free energy. After that there is no way to get energy unless you purchase more or wait days for enough to play for less than 5 minutes! It takes the enjoyment out of even bothering with the game. Can’t even play 5 minutes without the energy running out. Who in their right mind would pay any money on this game when you can’t enjoy playing it long enough.....No using my money on this money hungry game. I signed on today and found 2 items in the hidden object mini game and all the energy was gone. Good riddance! This game has no freebies to get energy. Money hungry game. ✓ Energy adjustments have saved this gameI installed this game about two weeks ago and would originally have given it 3/5 because of the crippling effect of the energy system, which limited interaction with the game to barely 3 minutes per day. A few days ago there was an update that has seemingly upped the number of advertisements that a player can watch to add energy, meaning I’ve been able to play for almost a good half hour each day - a vital increase given how slow energy regenerates in the background. Now the energy issues don’t take away from the rest of the game so much. Which is a good thing, because this game is fantastic: - The storyline is wonderful, with a great setting that’s brought to life with beautiful images and cool graphic-novel style narrative sections. - The voice acting is fantastic, and the background music really adds to the ambience - and I’m usually one to mute a game while I play it. - The puzzles are just the right difficulty level to make you think but not enrage you, and hints are there for when you’re truly stumped. - The search scenes are enjoyably difficult with the unusual addition of things you have to move and actions to take in order to actually find some objects. - The game seems to be quite long. I’ve been playing for a fortnight now and I’m barely part way through the first chapter, and I see there’s at least another 4 stories ahead of me to go through. ✓ Omg!!!!! Wow!!!! 😍🖋Where do I even start!? The graphics are amazing, the story line is suspenseful (but doesn’t drive you crazy). It isn’t too easy and yet not almost impossible. Unlike most of these types of games, everything you do actually makes sense, from what your doing to how your doing it. And in this game, you aren’t alone. The other characters have a real part in the story. And the time period its set in really adds that extra touch! Their are almost no adds, except to get some extra free energy, but that is literally it!! And I love that you play as a woman instead of a man. This game has never been boring for me! As for me personally, I like the energy system, it keeps you from going too far and too fast in the game. Besides, what fun would a mystery be if you found out the murder real quickly. Plus if you do make any more chapters, I would recommend some of the characters have dogs or cats or something (maybe name some of the character’s pets after your own). ✓ What a storyline!It’s like reading a really good book or watching a great movie but you’re part of the story. Captivating with beautiful graphics. True to the time period you’ll enjoy being immersed in Anna’s life who is a journalist in 1930’s Zurich. She helps solve murder mysteries while following their stories for her articles. The chapters are loosely connected and keep you wanting to see what she gets herself into next! It can be a money pit if you’re not patient and can’t wait for your energy to refill, which does happen… but that just tells you how captivating the story is. It’s not a game you play in your 1 minute spare time, keep candy crush and the like for that. This is captivating and will need your attention so you understand the often elaborate story, while also solving mini puzzles and hidden object scenes. I personally have changed the language to German because it helps me study the language (taking lessons concurrently) but it also creates a more authentic experience since the original language would be German. You’ll still hear the story in English but subtitles will be German, a great learning opportunity. I think another 5-6 languages are also available..Version: 9.1.0
✓ A refreshingly well made gameI think it’s clear to most people that the mobile app market is flooded with all kinds of shoddily made games, that have clearly only been made to make a profit. So to come across a game like this, in this kind of market, is honestly so amazing to see. From the very beginning you can see the kind of work the makers have put in, the gameplay is smooth, the art quality (while it varies) is excellent and the stories are actually decent and entertaining. The Porto Ceso arc is definitely my favourite. The energy system means it’s not really built for long gameplay, but if you’re looking for a good 15-30 mins of entertainment a day, and for a game where it’s clear the developers care and do the work, this is the game for you..Version: 8.0

It goes down so fast, you can only play for 5 minutes at the most. It takes 5 energy to pick up one item, and I only get to play for like 3 minutes a day. If you could possibly make it when you pick up an item or place an item use 1 energy, instead of 5, that would be amazing. Also when the gameplay goes into that comic strip storyline, it takes 20 energy which is ridiculous considering if they were to talk without the comic, it would be nothing. I have finished as far as I can go when is the next part going to open up. This is frustrating because it is a brilliant game. Could something be done about the energy please. ✓ Needs ImprovementAn fantastic game with great graphics and a good storyline. However there is a MASSIVE flaw with the game play. The energy takes too long to recharge. It takes 8 minutes to get one energy point which wouldn’t be too bad but the task take up far too much energy to complete. Not just that the energy should be used better. Energy should not be used to have a conversation and when searching for items it should use a certain amount for the whole of that puzzle not 5 energy points per item that’s ridiculous because you start playing find three items and then you can’t do anymore. It should be 20 energy points to complete the whole task. Also that way the game play isn’t constantly being interrupted. It’s so frustrating when you can barely do anything in a game. I love the fact that you can find hidden objects however they don’t give you enough energy to complete a task. This needs to be drastically changed as the whole game is ruined by this major design flaw. I bought 300 energy and that enabled me to complete two tasks and have one conversation which took 10 minutes. That’s nothing!!! I wouldn’t mind paying for the game if the energy went further and was quicker too recharge. I would rather pay for a really great game than how it’s currently done. Or even if you could earn more energy by watching adverts that would be better. The game is a great game but this energy crisis is taking the fun out of the game completely. ✓ I Love This Game!Hidden object games are my favourite, but I hate timers and this game doesn’t have any. I also tend to play them for hours on end and ignore the rest of my life, but this game also solves that problem by requiring energy to perform specific tasks. Energy is rather slow to recharge (8 minutes for each unit) but there are also other ways of acquiring energy besides spending money. There are collectibles and achievements. If you’re waiting for more energy, go back to every scene and click on EVERYTHING! You never know where a collectible object may be hiding! New content is constantly being added and being forced to slow down and wait for energy keeps you from having to wait even longer for more of the story to be added..Version: 2.2.0

✓ Energy frustrationI also enjoy this game a lot. I like that the hidden puzzles are interesting, but I like even more that there is more to it than just hidden puzzles. The only thing I do not like about the game is that it is an energy hog. There is no reward for finishing a puzzle, in spite of the fact that it costs 5 energy every time you find an item. Conversations that you listen to cost energy. It seems everything costs energy and there are too few ways to gain the energy back. I am not against paying for my entertainment; after all, someone is working very had to develop this game. So I am hesitant to spend that much for so little enjoyment, Also, a few times I was in the middle of a hidden picture when I ran out of energy. But the huge flaw is the energy runs out way to quickly as it uses to much. Energy should only be used for the tasks and it takes like 5 energy just for finding one item in the task. ✓ Best game I’ve played in a very long timeAbsolutely love this game. It is totally different from all the others. I love how you have to do things to find some of the items. The storylines are great and really get you hooked. The voices are great too. The energy does reload quite slowly, but I’m glad about that, or I would be playing it all day. I did find that sometimes, I had to close the game down and reopen it for my energy to refill, but doesn’t take a second to do. It does give the option to watch ads to get more energy. These were the only ads in the game, which is great. I did have a bug on one part, but the support team were absolutely fantastic and sorted it out in just over 24 hours from me sending my message to them. ✓ Almost 5 starThis game is beautiful. Visually, I’ve never seen a prettier game, but the energy lasts for 5 minutes, and that’s genuinely no exaggeration. I only get 5 minutes of game play each day unless I watch around 50 videos per day. That’s just so much. I have even purchased energy thinking it may even expand my energy line, but it doesn’t, and the 500 energy I purchased only doubled me to about 10 minutes. ✓ Energy regeneration is ridiculously slowThis is one of the best games I’ve played when the energy levels allow me to play it! The story line and the mini games are fantastic and varied. However, developers ….can you please do something about the energy regeneration. Even overnight, energy only regenerates about half the possible lives. It is supposed to give one life every 8.5 minutes but it doesn’t. You have to realise that to keep players interested in your game, they have to be actually able to play the game. ✓ I rated 3 stars before they added in Ads - yes, I like the ads!!!So like all games, we try to avoid watching boring ads when possible. This game was the first game which ever made me want to watch ads! With addicting story plots and intense mysteries waiting to be solved, the energy bar runs out extremely quickly. And the only way to increase the energy bar was to pay for it or - wait a long time to regain 1 energy point. Now that they included watching ads as a method of increasing 20 energy points at a time, I’m watching whenever I can so I can save up energy points and play nonstop. The best part is, there seems to not be a limit to how many energy points you can store up, so currently I’ve got about 700 energy points! Maybe a little mature for 12+First I love this game~ the art is really beautiful, the characters are interesting, the voice acting is even really good, the puzzles are really unique and fun, even the searching aspect has a bit of a puzzle element as you can move things around and open different things, put items together, etc. I used to get upset that you would be limited by the amount of energy but I get it since you can just fly through the stories in no time if there weren’t some breaks. When I first started I wasn’t very interested in the story but when I started paying attention I really think it added a lot to the game that I missed out on, so I’ll probably replay some of the earlier episodes. I will say that I think this game is more mature than it’s rating and some of the scenes were deeply upsetting. The deaths can be quite gory and surprising, but there is also scenes depicting suicide and murder of prostitutes. For someone more mature I don’t think this would be much of a problem if you understand that it’s something you’re going to experience in the game, but for kids as young as 12 I don’t think it’s very appropriate..Version: 7.0
✓ Murder in the AlpsThis is beautiful game with a lot of attention to detail. My only problem is how long you get playing the game even when energy levels are full. They go down so quickly and need patience playing this game. It is FREE!! But to do it this way you can only get 3-4 mins before your energy is gone. Even paying for energy it goes down sooo fast. If you could pay £0.99p and have unlimited energy for every chapter I would do so or watch say 10 videos n have unlimited energy also would do. For a game like this which is VERY GOOD it takes the feel good factor away. It’s took me about 10 days to complete 1st chapter and if have same to do again by end of chapter 3 it will have been deleted!! ✓ EnergyI’m alright with the energy but it is just the ads. To get 20 energy you need to watch an ad. I am alright with this but I noticed that when the ad has a v in the bottom left corner, the ad stops. This makes me have to reset the game. I am absolutely loving this game but I would love you to do one thing. Maybe watching ads can reward you more energy because I have to watch hundreds of ads to make my energy last a long time. ✓ Fantastic! Best game I’ve played this year. But....I was looking for a game that was different, not the same game made over and over with different characters and really distracting mind wise. This game is perfect for everything, Fantastic graphics, voice actors are on point. It lets you skip puzzles if you don’t wish to do them. Beautiful main character, very smooth running. The story line is very catching and makes you want play more. Unfortunately the energy refill is too long, you wait a long time to play again. Which is difficult to play again after such a long wait. ✓ EnjoyableI very much enjoy the storyline of the game. The characters are also pretty likable (Otto is my favorite). The art style is also very nice to look at. There have been changes for how the scenes are played out in the new chapters (I like the way it was played out before in the first chapter). The main feature of the game is its, find the hidden objects, mini game. But it also has other mini games (like finding a path or trying to unlock a door) that turn up from time to time.v The energy system is quite a problem, with 30 to play out a scene and needing at least 80 energy for the search and deducting 5 energy when you freeze the screen from continuously pressing on the screen too much (while searching). There are also some other instances where you’ll need 5 - 20 energy to do the smallest of things (like grab a crowbar to open a box). A 200 energy bar as a maximum is indeed too little for things like these (not to mention the wait to gain back all of that 200 is at most 1 day and a half). Although I do like the addition of watching videos to gain energy, which I use until I run out of videos and gain at the very least 500+ energy as each video gives you 20 energy. Though the game has that as a flaw, I still enjoy it and will continue to play..Version: 3.0

✓ Energy being used incorrectly and goes to quicklyThis is actually quite a good game but there are 2 major flaws which either the developers overlooked or they want you to spend more money. 1. The energy bar is not visible during play, we like to see how much energy is left 2. The energy runs out WAY to quickly. ✓ AmazingIt’s like no other game I’ve seen before. I couldn’t put it down… except when it wouldn’t let me do anything and I had to wait for my energy to fill up again. However i agree with others that the energy used to do simple tasks is too much, and it takes too long to replenish any energy, and found that if you buy energy, it goes down even faster, so you spend more. Also waiting a long time for parts 1 & 2 Chapter 4, says coming soon but nothing for months. But new games still being launched. Please complete these parts 1,2&3 and make the energy usage fairer. Otherwise you will lose customers, and they will choose not to buy more of your games. I will not be getting anymore if your games until you complete ones you started already. Slow. 1 point every 8 min., unless that’s been changed by the time you read this. * Spending said slowly-regenerated energy points - Most actions require 5 energy points, some up to 20! * The one saving grace (aside from the otherwise beautiful and creative game), AND THIS IS WHY I GAVE THEM 5 STARS, INSTEAD OF 4 - free points for watching videos! I haven’t figured out the exact schedule they offer these free videos on, but around once a day, or once every other day, you can watch a video to earn 20 points. Some days I have been able to regenerate my entire 200 points, other days the videos just keep coming and I store up 400 to 500 points! I will forgive them their slow energy regeneration simply due to the fact that it is possible, however unpredictably, to earn these free points. ✓ Great graphics lousy energy refillsGreat graphics on my iPad love the game play and interaction between the people. The reason for the low score which the developers don’t seem interested in dealing with is you play the game for the 5 minutes then run out of energy which even after 24 hours is never fully refilled, so you are left with either waiting or dropping tons of money on refills. Well played sirs. It would be nice to know what your energy is being spent on. Update energy refills better after a day you get your 200 energy back, but it still disappears quicker than a blink of an eye. I actually timed it from starting the chapter to the not enough energy message took 8:25 minutes. ✓ Great GameOverall a great game. Designed really well with good story line and mini games. Have really enjoyed playing it. I really only 3 minor complaints which would make the game for from a 4 to a 5 which is: 1. It takes far too long for the energy level to build up to play. It’s obviously a game set to encourage to purchase the energy. Otherwise playing free, you either get 1 decent session of game play once a day or short game plays twice a day. Anymore then 2, you’re pretty much doing one or two moves before you can do anything again 2. There’s no way to get any free energy. No incentives for logging in daily. Don’t get me wrong, love that there are no ads but would be great if there was some kind of free incentive to get more energy so you can play more 3. In the main games where you have to find items, it’s very obviously set so you have to use the hint and waste your energy. Where the item is not in plain sight or even slightly plain sight. You have to know exactly where and what to press for the hidden item to appear thus having to use the hint feature. ✓ Bad laggy advertsI love, love, love this game but again, as per many others, it takes far too much time to build up energy. Then, when you do, every little thing done, conversations, moving from scene to scene, cut scenes etc. decreases your energy massively. Also, I don’t mind adverts, I can just ignore them but for some reason with this game, every time I try and gain more energy by watching a “video” (see advert😁), the video will run for about a second and then stop and freeze. The only way 8 can then unfreeze is by either going to my home screen (I’m using an iPad) or by faffing about with some kind of ‘Bungle’ app. Even then, I have to do this for each one or two seconds of every advert! And yes, I harvested deleted and reinstalled the app several times on both iPad and laptop but I really have had enough re the rid Uk OU’s stop/starting of the ads. ✓ I love it!The story is super engaging and the graphics are beautiful. The puzzles are just the correct amount of challenging where you actually have to think but won’t rip your hair out in frustration. Of course, there’s also hints in case you really can’t figure something out or the option to skip if the puzzle is too hard. It’s also a bonus that everything is voiced so if you easily get distracted or can’t constantly look at the screen, you can listen to what’s happening and know where you have to go. The energy issue is a downside but you can choose to watch a few ads for 20 energy each. Sometimes the game will tell you that there are no more ads but if you keep clicking the button, it will give you more after a couple seconds. So if you don’t mind watching ads for faster progression, it’s a really easy way to farm for energy. If you really don’t want to watch ads, just put the game down and come back the next day! Anyway, I was able to get through all available storylines after a few days without having to pay for more energy and am looking forward to more!.Version: 4.1
✓ Need more energy!! Please readI truely love this game. The storyline is amazing, graphics are perfect and they even have actually voice actors! But the one disappointing thing about this game is the energy. It takes me about 20mins (sometimes even less) to use up all my energy, then it takes almost 18hours or something to get it all back! And I constantly get stuck half way through puzzles due to this because every time you find something in the puzzle it cost 5 energy which is very disappointing for such an amazing game. On my old phone I completed a the first and second part of the story but since I got my new phone 2018 Christmas I have been sent all the way back and have already finished the beginning of the story I am not on to the bit where Claudia dies but I already have read all this. The only thing that I hate is when I run out of advertisements to watch to get the 20 energy cos it keeps doing that a lot. The game also keeps glitching a lot like I will do a task like find all the hidden objects then I’ll go off and the next second I have to start the task again. ✓ Brilliant game, would be 5 stars but....I love this game and it’s really well done and I hate to give it 3 stars but the energy is a big problem for me, in a couple of ways. Your free energy has a maximum of 200, no matter how long you leave it to refill. Each object you pick up costs you 5-10 energy, a conversation and sometimes just walking into a room, can cost you up to 30 energy points. This is a lot, considering it takes a couple of days to refill up to 200! If you’re doing a hidden object scene and you have to find 25-30 items that cost 5 energy per item; it can take an entire day, just to get through 5 mins of game content. You end up going in and collecting 3 items per hour, which is just frustrating. I have relented a couple of times and ended up purchasing 1200 energy for £10, just so I could play for longer. It’s really addictive and great to play and I really like the storylines, it’s just really frustrating having to wait so long for your energy to renew and is too expensive to keep on buying..Version: 4.1

Like everyone else has commented on I must I’m very impressed on the storyline, interaction of the game and general all over concept of the game. But can you please take away the energy part or, better yet, make a restart button so you can restart all your progress and get all your starting energy back. I think the restart button should also restart all the strategy guides the person has. Love the story, puzzles, etc. However, I play on my lunchbreak with over 100 energy and it lasts literally minutes with the only option to watch a video. I’ve (not) “watched” a million videos to get energy as it’s the ONLY way to continue, preoccupy myself with something else and when I’m done with my 2 mins at lunch I play again in the evening, for another 5 mins. The fact that in the hidden object games it takes 5 energy to select the CORRECT thing?! Scrap that! Only take energy when we miss or just 1 energy, not 5!! ✓ Thoroughly enjoying, but..Brilliant game with a brilliant story! The only issue I have with it is that it takes so long to get energy. I will pay for things in games if I am enjoying them, but to an extent. It’s crazy how much it uses and how expensive it would become to pay all the time. ✓ I love this game BUT...This is such a well developed game. I have loved every aspect of it so far, BUT there’s one big drawback. The game itself is free, but everything you do uses energy, & some things take a lot of energy, such as simply watching the comic storyline so you know what’s going on. I don’t think there’s even a way to skip it if you wanted. So, they don’t explain all this when you start playing, & they give you some free energy to keep you going long enough to really get into it. Then you have to stop because you run out of energy, & you have to either pay (way too much for what you’d get) to instantly have more energy & keep playing, or you have to wait over 26 hours to totally rebuild your energy! You CAN play again in less than 26 hours, but that’s how long it takes to totally restore your energy. You can wait several hours & still not have enough to do certain things, or only have enough to play for a few minutes, literally. This seems to be such a well made game that I would actually buy it if they had a version that cost a few dollars & I didn’t have to run out of energy so quickly. Or if it didn’t take so long to rebuild the energy & it didn’t deplete so rapidly I would love it. But there is no way I’m paying $2.99 for just a few minutes of play!!! ✓ Great game, even greater customer serviceI’ve been playing Murder in the Alps for 3-4 years, pretty much since it first came out, and I’ve been meaning to write a review for that long (procrastination, man). I’ve always loved this game, and have always excitedly anticipated new chapters, especially the Dada Killer. The stories are super engaging, the hidden scenes and mini games are just the right level of challenging, and the voice acting (for the most part) is excellent. Sure the energy system isn’t great, but the above reasons make it worth it for sure. Buuuut, the reason that I’m finally writing this review is because of the outstanding customer service of Nord Current. I had a game breaking bug that prevented me from moving on, so I emailed them. Within a few hours they got back to me, fixed the problem with my game remotely, and gave me some extra energy as an apology. I’m honestly blown away with how efficiently my problem was dealt with. ✓ I agree with Parousia1’s comments only..The music, sound effects and over all tone colour of the game make it a satisfying experience, no matter how many days it takes for your energy to refill. I didn’t buy any energy packs, I just made sure I clicked around the rooms to find the extra energy bonuses, and I was patient. Yes, I was tempted to purchase the energy packs, however like Parousia1 highlighted, the energy gets used up fairly quickly, so decided it would be pointless. Strategising your energy in this game is quite similar to strategising your energy in real life, so I wasn’t too upset about it; that’s after the initial frustration of realising my energy wasn’t endless ... A restructuring of the energy usages might be something the developers need to consider in order to allow for a longer game, however 15 mins of game time is more than ample, considering we spend so much time on our phones these days, with the effects still not fully researched. ✓ Top notch but…The game has great graphics and a very good storyline as well but the most annoying thing about it is that this game takes a lot of your money. I wish that y'all would fix it to make it an even better game and by doing so hopefully I would get to enjoy the game more, because every time I look for the things I always run out of energy and it nearly takes the whole day to regain energy. The bad thing about this is whenever I do wait all day to regain energy I barely get anything maybe 90 energy points or maybe not even that. Please fix this! It would make it such a better game and it is already a good game so far. Also, I have heard that you can sign in with facebook and get more energy points. Though, for me I cannot do such things, so what is the thing that people who can’t get facebook or don’t feel like doing such things do? It would be much better if y'all just added a thing where you watched an ad and you get half of your energy back. It would be much easier and much more of a playable game! ✓ I hope this gets seen by the developersThe graphics are amazing, the story is captivating and the characters are fun to work with. But I think ya’ll can only g u e s s why I put a 3/5. The energy charging makes the game insufferable, because you have to wait at least a couple of hours before going onto the next chapter. You can’t even get a full bar after 24 hours, not even half. It’s so insanely annoying, I’m considering deleting the game and finding a better one, just so I have the chance to play something without having 8 hour breaks in between. Bottom line, instead of giving us ONE energy every 8 minutes, try giving us 10 or something. Thanks, A concerned player..Version: 5.0.1
✓ Excellent gameI really love this game! Excellent story, fun finding games and other little games. The energy is hard to get at first, but wait for few days, and there is ad option. Watch some ada and you can easily get 500+ energy! I finished all the stories in two weeks. Love it!.Version: 5.0.1
✓ EnergyThe refresh rate should be much faster. It only gains 7-8 energy each hour which is a little ridiculous. And maybe even for more energy make it a option to watch ads for it or even a daily spin wheel. But besides that has a really good concept and love it so far. I just love the artistic style of all hidden object games. Also you don’t get many good games like this that are basically for free!.Version: 2.0.1
