✓ London is greatI tried this on my last day in London and wish I had started sooner. The set up was a bit of a challenge as I have a Canadian credit card. Once I was set up I used my credit card in the machines and it went smoothly. I had a wonderful cycle along Regents Canal to Camden locks. Next time I plan to cycle along the Thames and explore the bike lane routes. It's a great way to get around..Version: 4.0.3
✓ Latest release bug!!Hi there, anybody reading this, my card is no longer working after the last release. Tried different cards, removing the app and reinstalling, logging out and back in… my friend has the same problem. Please fix this quickly!!! Useful and makes taking a bike faster, but the bikes’ availability does not immediately update. This could be improved..Version: 4.0.20
✓ Useful but a bit buggyI enjoy using the app and find it more convenient than having to use the terminals. The only drawback is the app doesn’t alert you if it fails to refresh. This means if there’s a connection error you may be looking at out of date information. Two suggestions: allow reporting of defects in the app. Sometimes you find a docking station that isn’t working correctly and it’s a pain to report it. Also allow payments using in-app Apple Pay..Version: 4.0.4
✓ Awful Buggy MessJust joined thinking this would be easier than using my debit card at the stand. Wrong. Most of the time app says Cannot connect to Internet, even with full bars 4G Vodafone and/or WiFi! Clumsy silly design with the codes and doesn’t remember card details. Scanning your debit card, at night, must be one of the dumbest things I have ever found myself doing. EDIT - a year later and it’s actually WORSE. See other recent reviews explaining how bad this is. This is the worst app I have ever used..Version: 4.0.5
✓ Renew Subscription ErrorWas working fine for last few weeks until recently I have been experiencing this “Renew Subscription” error, which is weird since I have an annual membership which is valid until Aug23. Went on the website to update payment details, only to be told my account is suspended. Calls to Helpdesk straight to answer machine, who left me hanging for over 30 mins after which I gave up. Please help fix this otherwise great app..Version: 4.0.26
✓ ExcellentMy wife and our friends enjoy going to major cities and moving about the city on rentable city bikes. Such a great way to see a city. We have done this in New York, Edinburgh, Chicago, and now, London. With Santander, we were not sure which pricing plan to choose. The standard 30 minute option for £1.65 was pleasing, however we went with 20 £ option for one month. We were only in the city for three days and we were unsure if we would actually hit the 20 pound value. After we canceled our subscription upon leaving, we were given a detailed receipt and a refund for £6.30 because we did not hit our 20 pound mark. we all thought this refund was above and beyond..Version: 4.0.32

✓ Great app and excellent customer serviceHave been using the app and bikes for about 18 months. The bikes are a great facility to have in London, basically turn up and go, no stress about carrying padlocks or dealing with punctures and maintenance. The bikes are a bit heavy but very robust. The app is good — could be slightly better with notifications, journey tracking, etc, but considering the number of bikes and the diverse locations, it is VG. The app recently went awry after I upgraded to ios 14.8 but after reporting it to the customer service team, I got a quick email response recommending a reinstall, which fixed things, plus a friendly follow-up call a few days later. Couldn’t fault the team behind everything. Thank you :-).Version: 4.0.18
✓ Excellent very convienientI've recently stated to use the bike hire scheme, find it very convenient to get unlock codes. I particularly like the plan your route feature, which gives alternative routes to the same destination depending on your confidence levels. The reason I started using the bikes was to get fitter so I would love to see health features included like heart rate recording, more accurate mapping etc Possibly integrating the measures into the Apple health app.Version: 4.0.4
✓ Really goodIn London for a couple of days and really loved the bikes! Lots of docking stations, which meant we never went over 30 minutes, so good value. Agree with another review, that you need UK phone, address and billing address for credit card, to use the app. Much easier to just pay with credit card on machine. Riding around on a Sunday a delight, little traffic and the sun shone!.Version: 4.0.2
✓ Mr.Uploaded and used it today with a US credit card with a chip. App told me where to find a bike and how many available. When locating a docking station it informed me of available docks. You must have internet on your phone. 😀.Version: 3.95
✓ GreatOverall this is a great service and I use it weekly. Account management within the app is a bit of a mess. Especially around setting up payments. But actually getting codes to rent bikes works perfectly in my experience. I ordered a bike key which is a game changer. I use the bikes even for very short trips now. This should be made easier to order. I can to ring someone at it felt like a very manual process in shipping it to me..Version: 4.0.31
