✓ Floating manny glitch!For a not-too-cheap game, especially on ios, there are too many glitches, the most annoying one that has ruined my gameplay (it's not impossible it's just highly irritating and just... Bizarre) is that after glottis runs off to gamble in a short cutscene manny now floats above the ground. His legs dont move and its as if the animation was in its starting stages. I was really looking forward to the game but I'm quite disappointed, especially because it's expensive for an apple store purchase Please fix this glitch I don't think I'll even finish the game if this persists and restarting, reopening, opening older saves isn't remedying the issue :/.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Extremely buggyI was so excited about this coming out, but it's extremely buggy, even on my 7 plus. The last option in any dialogue is almost always unselectable first time, and there's times the game seems to freeze between actions, like exciting menus. ✓ Bad portThis is one of my favorite games, but this is a bad port. First and foremost, the game has multiple times saved on a black screen with music and no graphics. ✓ Many puzzles are not intuitive and require pure chanceI loved the characters and the plot so I was really disappointed when the puzzles turned out to be so poorly designed. It starts well with a lot of puzzles being logical and intuitive. You can solve each puzzle by looking at the connection between the objects and the challenge. But after a while you can only solve the puzzles through either sheer luck or by looking at a walkthrough. Gave up playing after 2h.....Version: 1.0.4
✓ Would love to play but it black screens before I can get to RubacavaI was really enjoying the game - I got it as an early Christmas gift from my boyfriend - but when playing on iOS 11.1.2, after I get Glottis to start messing with the tower & weights, I get a black screen and music. Even when I restart the app now after the Double Fine banner all I get is a black screen and music. No starting menu. I’m a software developer. I know the devs can’t fix it not because they don’t care but because management won’t put any resources towards the fix. Double Fine management- Either devote some resources to fixing this game or refund my boyfriend’s money. I’m a big fan of Double Fine and find this extremely disappointing. ✓ Good game, disappointing remasterThe game seems good and is consistently rated amongst top point and click adventure games so I was excited to find it remastered on the iPad, however it runs pretty poorly, lagging at times, and the sound is crackly, broken, and I think sped up slightly. ✓ Glitch at year 3 cannot progress or finish the game.I was hugely enthusiastic about the new release. But the game got stuck at year 3 and nothing helps. Reboot, starting over, no good. After the initial round with Chepito the sidebar disappeared, cannot check Manny's inventory and cannot quit game only by pressing the power button. Then I reload but game does no react. I can repeat as many times but the game is frozen. I am very sad. 😞 Update: I started the game all over and got through the first Chepito scene. Then I got stuck on the axe in the vault and secret room scene, in year 3. I picked the axe up too soon, after Manny refuses to interact with it. He looks down but cannot pick it up. I put game in 16:9 mode to try to see if that helped but menu option disappeared and there is no way to get it back, tried turning it on/off, it loads into the scene straight. ✓ Navigation is frustrating!Difficult to navigate on iPhone. In particular getting out of the inventory is a real pain and moving the characters to outer limits of the screen. Just had to click repeatedly until something worked. For 99p is okay though. ✓ Very Glitchy but Interesting AlsoNeeded to look at a walkthrough for basically the entire game. I had to restart multiple times because everything you do needs to be in order. If you miss something in a room and go do other things, when you go back to the missed interaction it won’t do what it’s supposed to do for the game to progress. I forgot what part it was but it was right at the beginning of a new part and it was at a desk. Something to do with a gambling scam. There are other times this happened but I don’t remember where they were. The game also glitched many times and at one point I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish due to a severe crashing glitch at the end that is known to the developers. Yet they will not fix it for some reason. I was finally able to get past it after doing a bunch of things to the settings. Other than that it is an interesting game and I enjoyed it. Very long which is something I like. Prepare to use a walkthrough though because you really have no sense of what you’re doing and the world is so big it’s almost overwhelming. Same with the last item in some dialogue menus, select the item for two or three seconds. ✓ Amazing 5 star game & a very lazy remasterSo this game is supposed to be a “remaster” of the legacy game. To Double Fine - who always get a lot of dev money for their work due to the “VIP status” of a certain individual - it means sitting back and doing the bare minimum. This leads to very mediocre lazy remasters, such as this one or Full Throttle. On the better end of the spectrum, their Monkey Island remasters (where is MI3??) The moment I boot this game, I see my phone’s top bar (where the time and icons like WiFi are displayed) isn’t properly hidden. The intro boots in 4:3 format, not 16:9, since they’ve not bothered to remaster backgrounds & cut-scenes (“just add borders or stretch horizontally!”). The sound instantly goes out of sync with the video and subtitles, and the video is cut off early. The controls at least are better from the original one, but still, 3D adventure games from Lucasarts like MI4 or Grim were always a bit poorly done UX wise, so why not take the effort of modernizing/remastering it? Why doesn’t the game look better from its original? Sorry, but remastering isn’t just replacing original textures with higher quality ones! You probably had the original, higher quality ones ready, so that’s just a matter of replacing assets. Further, what’s with the QA? A bunch of crashes so far - totally unacceptable! Here are 3 examples: - puzzles where you have to click exactly the right pixel at exactly the right time, or restart from a checkpoint far, far away - solutions that are irrational by anyone’s measure. It’s nearly impossible to play without a walkthrough since you don’t have a cursor that helps indicate what is clickable and what isn’t. I spent hours in one area because there was absolutely no indication of what needed to be done. ✓ MehOkay so this is a really cute story and the graphics are great. I really enjoyed this at first, mostly for those reasons. There are several problems however: There is no quest to follow, no instructions, no notebook or similar where you can see past conversations, keys facts etc. This makes it kind of impossible for someone like me who is looking to pick the game up sporadically and then may not look at it again for a week or more. So unless you have a photographic memory or a week straight to focus only on this game it's kind of impossible to follow. I'm not keen to sit with this game and a notebook - that's not enjoyable to me, so given the above, if you are similar then this isn't the game for you. The other key issue is that the controls are really clunky/ fiddly and so it's frustrating to play. It very much feels like this was a quick changeover to touch from a mouse over game, and for a game that isn't free it's really not good enough. Fix this game to be an app - including giving options for keeping track of key information, and sort the controls and this would be a five star game for sure..Version: 1.0.1

✓ I love this game, but...I truly do love this game. It is a massive throwback to my youth and brings back a ton of good memories. Point and click at its best. The port to iPhone, although good, is not great. For a paid app, it is very glitchy. This does not ruin the story or gameplay, but as the game has been on iOS for a while, you'd think they'd sort it right?! When I initially paid for the game, I failed to notice how big it is and had to delete a lot of stuff from my phone to get it to play. Finally, it eats battery for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I use a 6 plus and I would estimate 2 hours of solid gameplay until it runs dry. The heat of the phone by this point, can't be too healthy either. I almost had it beat on my iPhone X and I was ready to rescue Meche from Domino in the cooler, I wasn’t able to zoom in on the tumblers.. “Hence I couldn’t rescue Meche and I’m stuck there”. I tried to find a way on the internet to send a message to Lucas Arts and let them know about it instead of complaining about it on here but I couldn’t.. So I hope they fix it soon and I definitely recommend the game if they can fix this problem...Version: 1.0.4
