โ Fun, Worth $$, but shortI enjoyed the game, but completed it in 5-6 hours. The story doesn't leave much room for repeat play and was predictable. It wasn't as scary as I'd hoped. The creepiest characters have to be looked at and will pop up on you, but don't come into play until the end and very little. Secrets were easy, not much strategy required. โ Creepily surprising. Wear headphones!!!Downloaded after the 'trailer' tempted me in, and for over an hour now I've been sitting in the dark, absolutely crapping myself. Without headphones, it's kinda freaky. WITH headphones, the game is transformed - my wife forced me to turn it off after me having shouted multiple expletives repeatedly. The sound though, this is incredible - the game builds the atmosphere and tension to the point where you're anxious and jumpy at every turn. For example, hiding from 'Inhabitants' inside a locker, a creepy guitar song kicks in along with the rattling of the thing against the locker and screams in the background!? Gameplay is probably around 6-9 hours depending on how you play. Lastly, before you begin, select the 'joystick' control in the options - it allows free movement rather than the look, click and wait for the character to go there method. Gameplay 9/10 - for a mobile device it succeeds, with only minor niggles - eg. same animations for 'Inhabitants' (so far). Story 9/10 so far - progressing nicely and quite intriguing. Graphics 9/10 - well varied with excellent attention to detail. Cut scenes could be better, but do well in leaving your imagination to it. Sound 10/10 - simply makes the game what it is!!! ------Edit------ Episode 1, chapter 1 (or 2, can't remember), as soon as you hit the main 'Device Wing', look in every single room for objects. Presented with 3 different routes, it was easy to go too far before the game cut off the return path, leading me to be stuck in a corridor and unable to progress. Had to delete all progress and restart the game. Dev's: please include a way to load previous checkpoints!!! Minus 1 star for the inconvenience, not the actual game... โ BEST GAME EVERI'm a 13 year old girl and I'm a bit scared with horror games but this was so gripping I had to play more and more it is a great story line and a little challenging if you don't want it too easy. Once you get into the harder levels it does start to get a little annoying if you can't get passed but I gave it to my friend for 5 minutes and she did it. โ Amazing GameFirst of all, this is an INCREDIBLE game. I HIGHLY recommend it. My only complaint is that it gets a bit repetitive at times. For example, smaller enemies would just keep showing up and interrupting the story. I liked the smaller enemies, but I didnโt like having to constantly avoid them while I was trying to enjoy the story. Other than that, no complaints. One of the coolest aspects of the game are the โInhabitantsโ. Each type of monster plays differently from each other and each is equally frightening. I also like how the player can use the flashbacks to move through areas they normally couldnโt. My only problem with the game is the control scheme. When you are using the joystick, tapping the screen will still make you move to that location. It was entertaining and exciting and it was like a mystery/horror movie unraveling. For $4 I did not expect the game to have such a long game play. Lost Within features a mix of the survival horror staples such as a creepy environment, an interesting backstory that shares some similarities to House on Haunted Hill and other horror films but would still make for a great movie, and diabolical monsters that at first seem pretty brainless but actually are twisted in that they will chase you through multiple doors. โ Best horror game on iOS!Story, visuals, voice acting, it's all really good! And some of the "inhabitants" are quite terrifying. My only complaint is the controls. There should be two halves of the screen: one for movement and one for camera. Right now it's all for movement and camera, making me walk right into enemies sometimes. And the virtual stick option should be free instead of fixed. It takes some pinpoint accuracy to maneuver around without inhabitants noticing you. โ Enjoyable game with a good storyI have played this all the way through and as a fan of horror games it's the best one I have played on the iPad, I am glad I forked over $9 for it, definitely worth it. The controls are easy enough, the graphics are very good for an iPad game, the story is well told and will keep you guessing to the very end. This isn't a cheap horror full of jump scares but more akin to Amnesia where the surroundings build up the tension. The monsters were quite well done too but I think they showed up a bit too often, near the end you kinda get used to them. That all said and done I would recommend this game and will be buying any other survival horror games this company releases..Version: 1.0

I'm playing it on iPhone 6 iOS 8.1.3 and have nothing but great experiences. I HIGHLY recommend. Also, it's a fairly big/long game. You won't beat it in an hour and want more..Version: 1.0

โ Grand Old Time!I have to say, this was a really good game! I loved the first-person perspective, and the slight movements of objects and random sounds; those things all added to the creep factor. I think the splitting of the game into episodes, and three different characters was brilliant and allowed for the different view of the situation from each character, and opened the gateway for three separate stories that were all connected. The visions into the past had the perfect of amount of shock and horror. I have to say, the ending actually caught me off guard and gave me one of those โoh my godโ moments. Surprising me is a very hard thing to do, and happens rarely. Now, I will admit that the controls were kind of wonky, especially with opening doors, and if you tilted your phone, the character would move. But, overall, I think this game was excellent; great story, decent graphics for an IOS game, pretty good for the horror genre, and really fun to play. I canโt wait to see what else the developer will create!.Version: 1.0
