✓ Good game. Spinning wheel is unfairly biasedThe game is good and challenging, but the "lucky" spinning wheel is pathetically biased. There's nothing lucky about it. You're "lucky" if it ever lands on anything other than 2, points. Given that you need 25 points for a free hint, and you only get five spins before having to endure the ads...you do the maths. Each video is about 30 seconds and they are incredibly boring and repetitive. The best thing you can do is let the ads run in the background while you do something more sensible, like have a cup of tea and read the paper. Hope you have unlimited data too, otherwise watch your bank account for the data you'll use. Overall, the game is genuine ripoff, because you're not given a genuine unbiased chance with the wheel....something that would never fly in a real casino....oh hang on a minute...maybe it would....Version: 1.254
✓ WordTrekThe game itself is fun. However, the ads are so annoying and often freeze so you cannot go any further. I was very far into the game after a few years of playing when it froze. A week later it was still frozen so I deleted, loaded it again and started all over. However, it is doing the same annoying things. Sometimes you hit the x to finish an ad and you cannot get back to the game for days. Other times you hit the x and it takes you to another ad and the x never returns. This time I will soon delete again and never go back to it. This problem does not exist in other games that I play. This is the only one. HELP! Now I can’t even send my review. ✓ Sad with Word TrekI have iPhone and WT has failed to update. It has happened twice. It just got slow to open until it stopped opening. First I had to delete from phone & reload. I was back to square one & playing from the beginning levels. Had lost my spins (at max) and points (at max) and level. But then a few days later, it all returned 😥 Now it’s happened again! ✓ Kinda cool but not up to speedFor people who love games like this it has some pretty good challenges. The patterns they use are logical but with varying levels of difficulty. But the tech is slow, the further along in levels I got the longer the loading of a new challenge took and today it kept booting me off and the app would shut itself down on every challenge. Proof it's good is that I must have tried again about 7 or 8 times to keep playing, lol, ( I'll give it one more chance!!) but have finally reached my quota of annoyance :P Was good when it worked. ✓ All my coins are mysteriously disappearing!!This game can be addictive and fun. It's a word scramble with a twist. As you try words that exist your word meter fills and you get a hint when it is full. This is motivation to keep filling the word meter and it's especially handy on difficult puzzles. The catch is you have to watch a 30 second advertisement for the word meter to unlock it once it has filled. This is annoying but an understandable way to keep the app free. In the latest version you can only unlock and use the word meter once a day. It now won't allow you to watch another ad and refill the word meter, which does not make sense from the side of the consumer or the advertiser. The game is not as fun without guessing words to fill the meter. And now the advertiser's products are shown much less. To me this makes the game playable for about 10-15 minutes a day. Because of this I can no longer recommend this game as it is more frustrating than fun. I hope the creators of this game rethink this issue and make the game fun again. ✓ Going brokeI give credit to the designers for creating an extremely addictive game but beware as you will certainly spend on hints. The word groupings are supposed to have a theme but a lot of the time they have no correlation whatsoever which makes it so difficult. It would be nice if they stayed consistent or if they at least worked a one word clue into each puzzle. ✓ Fun but glitchyI play this daily - well you can’t play it all day unless you’re willing to pay, which most people aren’t, as once you’ve solved as many as you can without hints your hints will be gone in seconds as it’s so hard to collect them and the word lock meter just ensures I don’t come back to the game for another 24 hrs. I assume they’re hoping people pay to release the lock or something, I just go and play another free game that isn’t as irritating. The two videos you can watch per hour for 10 while points(!!) each regularly don’t work so you end up giving up. Also don’t bother downloading other games on the promise of more hint points. They never eventuate. Again I think they assume you’ll just start playing the new game and spend money there too. I just deleted the game. ✓ Word fail!I love a good, challenging word game! It took the first few puzzles to realize that this game had potential to remain on my device. I liked the challenge of figuring out the mystery words based on nothing. It didn't bother me a whole lot that the 3 answers needed to solve the puzzles usually had nothing in common, so I kept playing, wholeheartedly, to where I remain now...GOAT level number 1. I've been stuck at this level for weeks now, with no response from the game help desk, as to how to bypass this level. The FAQ's section claims that ALL of the puzzles are solvable. I appreciate that they think that and aspire tobhave that be true, but someone dropped the ball on this puzzle check. Goat level 1 IS in fact unsolvable!!!!. I have all three word answers and in no order of entry is the puzzle SOLVABLE!!! I probably would have rated the app higher had the customer support team responded to my call for help. ✓ Please fix this!This used to be my go to game, but it seems like the more levels I complete the slower the game gets; now it takes forever for the board to load, then a couple minutes before I’m able to start highlighting letters. Most ads are automatically muted but these ads don't have a mute button at all so I have to turn the phone sound down and then remember to turn it up. I hate that! Most other ads let you say the ad bothers you so you can skip it. I can't do it with these ads and the games its showing in the ads are awful! One has a spider and I am arachnophobic. One shows a fish getting burned in lava. The worst is a woman who gets attacked by a burglar if you mess up the controls. Just awful.
