✓ Add More LevelsI finished every level with 3 stars and there's nothing else for me to do with the app. Add more levels, and make them more challenging. The snowy tab was about the only section that truly had challenging puzzles and I want more like that. Also, what are those stupid crystals for? I went through the entire game not knowing what they're for. One more thing; can you stop shoving your other games down my throat? I don't care for "King of Thieves" or "CATS" and I'm tired of being bombarded with ads of them every time I enter the app..Version: 1.5.0
✓ Good but the stupid survey made me quitThe survey made me quit. I bought this thinking it was good and... It WAS! Everything made me happy, and I kept purchasing gems and solutions and chapters... Until, when I minded my own business, I looked at the teapot and did the survey. I was in Thailand, so it auto-translated the form into Thai. I did not know what anything said, so I googled it, and it reset the form. I tried split view, and it didn't work. After that, I switched to my grammar-fixing kb, and it doesn't work on this app. I could not switch apps to switch back, so I QUIT. I thought this would Never EVER happen. I hope I come back soon 🙏. ✓ Great funGreat game, love the change of Om nom to fish, mice ect. Having boss levels is awesome. Wish I could actually spend the diamonds I earned on things eg. 500 diamonds for 5 hints. ✓ Latest update still hasn't restored progress.Update: zeptolab reached out to me and told me to reinstall the app and it would prompt me to restore my progress. Well, it did not and now any data I may have had hidden somewhere in my iOS backups is now gone. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!!! Typical greedy zeptolab: 1. Release update with new levels 2. Delete user progress so that users have to either replay every level (unlikely) or pay up to unlock the new levels now 3. Claim a bug and restore progress a few weeks later after people have purchased the new levels. This isn't the first time they have done this. Please restore our progress!!! ✓ Alright but not as good as it’s predecessors.I have completed every Cut The Rope game and gotten 3 stars on every level, the first three games (the original, Time Travel and Experiments) are the best. Great gameplay, beautiful yet simple art style and simple replay-ability. ‘Cut the Rope 2’ (the fourth game?) was slightly too complex and involved aspects that over complicated the core gameplay elements of the originals. And then there’s Magic. Magic is an okay game, it is still a Cut the Rope game, containing most the main core elements, although it feels lacking. It’s more 3D stylised art style looks mostly appealing, mainly in the environments. I much prefer the original style for Om Nom and other elements although the background were pretty aesthetic! Where the game completely lost me is the shape shifting. Changing Om Nom into different beings to give him powers and abilities corresponding to different tasks and objective that need to be fulfilled is a very strange direction to take the game in. In Experiments, there were new gameplay aspects introduced through objects in the boxes (like the first game) this works well and introduces new elements whilst maintaining the core gameplay loop: Get the candy to Om Nom via different items in the box whilst collecting stars. If you are looking for another simple game with this loop you will be slightly disappointed. It is in no means a bad game, however it feels slightly like a cop out including a new purchasable currency (magic crystals) which, if purchased, make stars redundant as you can simply buy the levels rather than unlocking them from earning stars. I re-download this game after completing it a few years ago only to learn some of my progress had been wiped. This doesn’t bother me too much as I can simply replay them although I would’ve much preferred my progress be wiped on one of the first three games as they are funner to play haha.Version: 1.11.0

And on top of the poor quality is has attained, it has another even worse portion, it crashes constantly. I don't know what's wrong, or why they decided to basically let the software just rot after they asked me to pay $2.99 for this app when it was new. I enjoyed it when it was fun, but it's lost that with time I guess. Don't waste your money on it, there are much better games. I would like to add one more thing. ✓ Possibly the Most Money-Grubbing App EverThis app is probably the worst app I've ever come across in terms of ads. I look to solve puzzles. If I don't get it in three tries, let me try again. If I want to use a cheat I will, but I don't need a pop up every time I die a third time on a level. That's how puzzles work - you fail at first. There are ads everywhere, though they look like levels. And when they ask you how you like it, if you give it five stars it'll ask you to rate. Graphics are even better than before, many annoying mechanics from CTR 2 are gone and the app is finally universal. ✓ Get rid of pop ups!!!Fantastic game, enjoyed the whole series but the constant pop up when you get stuck on a level making you click on the stupid thing in the bottom right of the screen is highly annoying. We know it's there. We know we can buy the answer if we want to. But as we have already paid for the game stop with the constant annoyance. We all get stuck on level sometimes and this is ruining the game for me!!! Once you have retried or lost a level 4 or 5 times as soon as it loads there is a little hand pointing to the firefly and you cannot attempt the level without pressing it. ✓ Fireflies ruining the gameI adore Cut the Rope and have played all the versions, but I can't complete Cut the Rope Magic because of the constant firefly jumping up and down and the repeated pop ups. I have to close it down in annoyance. The great thing about Cut the Rope is working it out yourself. It's fun to play even when you don't get three stars. But what's the point if you’re just going to buy the answer? What message is that sending to children? Instead of persisting until you find out how to do it, just buy an answer. Very poor Zeptolab. This app is not a good update to that. As some other reviewers have stated, it does indeed force you to use hints the first time you restart a level more than some set number of times. I think that is only once, but it is very disruptive feeling. When I play a game like this, I want to solve puzzles. I don't want to be forced to see the solution. But it is only once, so that is far from the worst aspect of the game. The worst is weird level look-alike things that are ads for their other games and screens that force you to collect some sort of what looks like IAP currency. Anything that takes me away from solving puzzles in a paid app like this is annoying. This app took that to a point where I ended up deleting it about halfway through the second section. The fun/annoying ratio was worse than any app I've ever paid for. Luckily, I got this one when it was app of the week..Version: 1.5.0
✓ CTR MagicOverall the game is fun and challenging but what annoys me is the ads. The game is not free so there is no reason it should have a single ad. I understand ads in games that are free because that's the only way the developer can make money off of their game but this app is over priced to begin with. The first game was only 99¢ when it first came out. Another thing that I don't like is the store where it lets you buy level solutions and crystals. This is not necessary (for some reason all gaming companies feel like they should have this) the original Cut The Rope didn't even offer this and it was way better.
