✓ Can not continue gaming without payingThe app has good quality animations but considering all the levels are the same thing over and over again (when it says you can play mini games rather than the same quests over and over) I wouldn’t pay for it. And instead of allowing the old levels to replay it just leaves you stuck unable to play at all without dishing out payment (which is WAY over priced btw). Considering “play as your favorite ponies” is written down that part should be free anyways and payment should be optional for purchasing side character ponies or additional cutscenes because what you get for free isn’t exactly new at the end of every level. Definitely do not recommend installing unless you’re fine with uninstalling and reinstalling just to play the beginning levels again (not that anything changes through the levels other than the window pieces being put back)..Version: 2022.3.0
✓ This game is ridiculous!My daughter saw this game on an ad and begged for it! I downloaded it and she played it for less than 1 hour before she came to me asking me to buy her more ponies. I went to look to see how much it was and if I thought it could be played without paying and if I liked it enough to purchase it for her. I saw the $10 price tag and was dumbfounded. So I went to try to play it to see what the hype was about and to see why it cost so much. Unfortunately I was unable to even replay the beginning to see if it was a good game because it was stuck on the part where you have to pay to do anything. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend this game unless you want your child to be disappointed like mine,that she can no longer play the game she wanted, without paying an unreasonably high price for it. Lures children in with their favorite TV characters and is a free download with in-app purchases. Many Apps offer these but the purchases are optional to complete or advance more quickly than normal if you aren’t willing to persist in completing the challenges, not a necessity to play the game. No way to advance and no combination of success or completing challenges will unlock anything. Big scam and great at upsetting your children! ✓ Very deceiving marketing tactics aimed at KidsThis is a great game that slowly forces kids to get addicted at the game play to then progressively require a $6.99 pony upgrade to keep playing. Once you have 4 ponies, and need another one, you have to “pony” up another $6.99, once you have 5, you then need to pay another $6.99 to get the 6th pony. The developers must feel that they were very clever with this concept of driving kids to tears to then force parents to pay $21 so their kids can play this game. I didn’t pay. I will not support developers like this. It’s shameful. Instead, make the game free with 3 ponies and require any upgrade for those that want to keep playing the game play. ✓ PricesI love my little pony and thought I should try out this game as I had it when I was younger years ago and I thought I could re visit it as I was bored. When I first starting doing the quests, I started off with three ponies, which I suppose is normal as you have to level up. As I played the game and completed the quests, I went onto a mission where you ‘have to have 4 ponies’ so I clicked another pony and I couldn’t move on with the game as it didn’t allow me unless I paid. Of course, if they were cheap I would’ve considered it (like £2 max) But £6/£7 pound for a little pony on a video game?? No way! Just a quick, easy gambling marketing tactic on little kids from this big corporate company. Like seriously? And I wouldn’t have thought much of it until I then realised I’d probably already bought the ponies when I was younger as I was addicted. Once you get to a point, it needs you to use four characters to continue playing the game itself and you can’t as you only get given three free characters. ✓ Fun but sneakyIt’s a fun little game. But the way you have to finish it is by BUYING the remaining ponies which ruins the fun and stops people from continuing forward. If there was a little quest in game that let you unlock the ponies FOR FREE it would be a whole lot better for other players and little kids that play it. Just because the game is free doesn’t mean they can be sneaky and only give you a half a***d game which forces you to pay in order to continuing playing. ✓ Why I want a upgrade of your game to have free ponysI like how you have created this historical game and I can't pass a level because I haven't got enough ponys because the price of it is unexpectble I order a upgrade just so you know I'm a strict little girl so you might have got a lot of a push to the free ponys idea if you don't listen to me now there will be lots of complainments because others have not much money to get a new pony! ✓ Great game until.......Great game for little ones, until you have to pay for additional ponies to continue playing the game 😒 My daughters loved this game initially (3 & 4 years old), but was short lived because within 15-20mins of playing they got to a level which required 4 ponies for the quest, the game supplies the player with 3. The only way to acquire additional ponies for the game is to pay £3.99 for one or £9.99 for 3, there is no other way to advance any further within the game otherwise...... much to my daughters’ disappointment 😔 Pretty sneaky I’d say!.Version: 1.4
