✓ RiggedI got up to Acid Storm and every single time I drive in the desert I get cornered off by a rock or a row of spikes. I either have to chose between to crash into the rocks or the spikes and I always die. Sometime I enter a base, I always make sure to dodge the lasers, and I dodge it but I still get hit..Version: 2022.1.0
✓ Adwatch repetitive grinderStarts off fun, then you get ads for everything. Same exact add every time too. The currency needed to buy new auto bots is a total grind, earning 2-5 per run, you need 250 to buy the 5th bot, and 90 each for 3 and 4. For a billion dollar franchise to put out a crap money grabber like this I a disappointed. Even more than I was watching the last 3 transformers movies. This is basically a 1942 arcade game ripoff. You get 1 Star by default, but -5 stars for creativity..Version: 1.3.1

✓ [Misleading?] PurchaseBought that 6.99 Optimus Prime pack. Can play as Optimus, but i didnt get the in game currencies that were also displayed in the purchase-picture. If its “worth” that much purple credits and gold, actually and clearly label it “worth” (it still doesn’t make sense how a character can be worth some blue energy cubes, as cubes can be “wasted” in runs that end quickly) so much in-game currency/ies. ✓ Decent gamePretty good game. The ads are horrible. There’s an add that plays for what feels like forever only to end up forcing you to try out the game for an additional 30 which yet again feels like 30. Almost makes me not want to revive or pass it on. Just hitting events or missions sometimes plays a random ad so what’s the point of watching that add 3 times or more under 5 minutes. ✓ GarbageI’ve played the game for about a week and one day my WiFi died so I decided to play until I ran out of energon. No problem there. The next day I decide to play again but I still have 0 energon and it says I have to wait 4 days and 1 hour. WAT THE ACTUAL F*** is this..Version: 1.3.1
✓ AvoidThe game is fine when you’re attempting to defeat the ‘bosses’ on the way to Megatron, although it makes it impossible to get through the levels without constantly spending money to upgrade the bots. However, once you reach the final level and try to defeat Megatron, it’s completely rigged and also glitches constantly. When trying to defeat him, he pauses when being led over mines so that his health bar doesn’t go down, the mines that usually have a beep countdown go off instantly at random to kill you and you’re hit with rockets before you’re able to even start moving when changing bots. You constantly have to call for ‘backup’ bots, costing you pink jewels, but there are so few to collect during the games that you have to buy them! It’s a complete con. Unfortunately, my 4 year old has needs, one of which is a need to finish and/or complete things. He would not be able to cope with leaving something unfinished, so I’ve no choice but to keep trying to complete an incompleteable game with him. Cheers for that! ✓ Ads...dear lord...the adsThe graphics and sound design are good. As a 39 year old gen 1 Transformers fan, the overall presentation of this game makes me happy The level design is also good. I like how the driving segments feel like the old game Spy Hunter and the shooting segments feel like a relatively standard IOS SHMUP. The controls...aren’t so good. There’s a noticeable amount of input lag relative to most other shooters on IOS. It feels intentional to increase the game’s difficulty. It isn’t SO bad until you consider how the game is monatized. Ads. There’s an ad after each death. I feel like I spent a third of my time with this game watching ads. Normally I don’t mind watching ads in free games, but this is a particularly bad implementation, and there’s no option to pay to have them removed. There’s also IAP for currency, which is high...but the ads...dear lord the ads. I’ve been a Transformers fan since I was five years old. The thought of a Transformers-themed SHMUP makes me unreasonably happy. Unfortunately the ads make this pretty unenjoyable for me and ultimately make this feel like a cash-in on the Bumblebee movie 😢.Version: 1.3.1

✓ It’s a good game, but it has some flaws.I don’t even understand how this game is as good as it is! And that’s a powerful sentence. It would be really good if Budge didn’t promote all of their other games, and I really don’t like the in-app purchases thing. In their Rescue Bots games, you have to pay to get all the other bots once you reach the 3-bot missions! Basically these games are pay to win so they can try to make more money. Please, companies! Don’t promote your games with these pay-to-win ripoffs! I do recommend it if your child likes racing games, but look into the in-app purchases before downloading the game..Version: 2022.1.0
✓ Fun game with great original charactersSo I love that this game stayed true to the original Transformer characters. I hated that GM paid money to have Bumblebee not a VW bug. So annoying. Anyway, the game is great. Wish the characters lasted longer so you could advance more in the game. Bumblebee gets hits 3 times and then dies. Also, kind of a bummer that the game can’t sync between devices. That should be changed..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Freezes AFTER ad but BEFORE reward!Totally unacceptable: not only did I not receive my gold and gems after a VERY time consuming run, but I opted to watch an EXORBITANTLY LONG ad to double my reward... and the reward window FREEZES. Not the app, mind you: I can still select options to pay for additional currency... but the window that should give me gold and gems is just sitting there, stuck... with NO REWARD. ✓ Final Boss is UnbeatableDuring the second phase of the final boss, when I call on another bot when the one I’m playing as dies, my screen freezes but the game is still going and then I instantly die without knowing what is going on cause the screen freezes. ✓ Double Double Mission Impossible?The game is fine. I’ve been playing with my 5 year old son. I’ve currently got the mission, Double Double. It says to “Double your currency after a run.” I can find no way to do so and no help online. I’ve doubled the amount of currency during a run, but no luck. The shop option to pay to double your coins forever mentions that it doesn’t apply to coins earned watching ads. I’ve not seen any ads in this game that give you coins. I played it all the way to the end by buying coins because the game doesn’t progress until you buy coins to use your other lives. ✓ Is this game beatable??I have unlocked all but 3 of the Autobots, maxed out Optimus and Arcee. Mirage is almost maxed out too. I don’t want to sink anymore money into this game or play for who knows how long to upgrade the rest of the Autobots. Megatron can one shot your characters even if they are maxed out and each time he takes damage it’s probably 1/30 of his health or less. Just seems like a waste of time once you get to Megatron. The game said my payment failed, yet my bank account was still charged for the transaction. Keep this in mind if you’re thinking of buying upgrades in the game! UPDATE: I got my money back I’ve deducted a star for how weak and easy it is to kill the female Autobots. How Arcee at level 6 weaker than Bumblebee at level 5? ✓ Paywall, Adfest, Timer MonotonyWhile it looks fun the constant ads and timers breaks up any hope to to be an enjoyable game. There’s pretty much an ad or pay everywhere and for everything I’ll say their are effective gameplay and great classic arcade styling. While the progressive difficulty and game mechanics feel good an ad or timer just breaks the momentum. There is a clunky interface and controls along with bugs and some unintuitive play. It will be a huge grind to level and collect autobots hence this where the paywall hits with energy timers for limited play..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Not well designed very glitchy and expensiveI play this game because my nephews are into transformers. I’ve spent over 50 dollars on crystals and coins to upgrade faster. Upgrading the weaker bots (all are max upgraded) was a waste of money as there is no improvement in their firepower or armor. The game will give you a laser for example that lasts 15 seconds. It often gives you two in a row. They do not last for 30 seconds. What’s most annoying are the glitches when you get to the final megatron( there are two). My pro max iphone is brand new and works perfectly. The whole game freezes and you can’t even see the autobot fighting. It has happened every time and it is infuriating especially after spending so much money on this game. Not a very well thought out or designed game in any way. ✓ Wow, have fun with your eyes.This game is overall fun, but my GOD my eyes were killing me after I played. You start the level and transform into a car. Then you drive. Here comes the pain, you don’t even know what’s going on, your driving so fast birds eye view, it’s like your having an epileptic seizure. You can’t even look the screen. My only issue is feel the character selection is not as big as I expected it to be and seeing that it’s been out for a while and no update I doubt that will ever come.
