✓ Nice feature set, lots of issues.First off I don't understand how an app that has existed for 6 years still doesn't have all the features it shows you in the software (RAW Editing). Second, this is pretty buggy, often runs out of memory, says I dont have enough storage for new edits even with 87gb available on my M2 Macbook Air. Often straight up crashes when trying to load more than 50 images. I do love using this to edit, I just literally can't use it half the time..Version: 5.11.5
✓ Very frustrating, glitchyWas great starting out, then crashed after one particular batch of photos. I'm no longer able to open up photo batches for editing, the screen is still frozen as if the old batch is there but none of the photos show up. Have tried re-installing, restarting my laptop, everything. If not for this problem, it would be my favourite photo editor, lots of great tools and user interface is fantastic..Version: 5.2.0

✓ Absolutely Not "the only editor you'll need"There is no way this can replace Photoshop as some of the reviews claim. Capability is severly limited. I have the free version, but I can see the paid features (you just need to pay to be able to save more than once per day when using them) and even paid this app does very little. ✓ Could be good….Constant crashing is getting in the way of what could be a good app. The number of photos I can import seems to change each time from 30-44 but i need to watermark hundreds of photos at a time and every few batches one will be lost because the app has frozen and needs to be restarted. I will change my review if this changes but right now I want my money back because it’s useless..Version: 4.0.0
✓ Je suis déçu...J’ai acheté Polarr Photo Editor Pro sur mon PC Windows, mais à cause d’un problème sur mon ordi, j’ai dû l’installer sur un Mac. Comme je ne voulais pas le racheter, j’ai installer Polarr Photo Editor. Je me suis connecter à mon compte et toutes les propriétés de l’app Pro ont été installer sur mon Mac. L’app marchait bien pendant un moment, mais tout à coup la photo redevient normal (sans les modifications). Aucun moyen de faire revenir les modifications. J’ai essayer d’effacer l’app et de la réinstaller, mais ça ne marchait pas. J’ai même essayé de redémarrer mon ordi, mais sans succès. C’est dommage, j’aimais bien l’application....Version: 4.4.2
✓ The App Has a Terrible BugI've been using Polarr for awhile now, my biggest issue in the past was the lack of layers for photos. When you have to edit captions there is where the app falls short. Recently things have gotten out of hand which makes the app useless! When I start to edit a photo all of a sudden the entire image turns black except for the watermark. I thought it was a visual error but when I save the photo it is still black. Its weird because ill see the original image pop in and out. This bug makes the app unusable on my Mac, until it is fixed I have to give the developers 1 star..Version: 5.2.0
✓ Touch up heal and clone is terribleI have no idea what it is that people who invent these apps think touch up - specifically heal and clone on this app - should be so ridiculously complicated. Apples old Aperture programme - which I still use for this one purpose, had it nailed. A simple tool that you selected the central pixel and then cloned it in bulk or tiny piece by piece with the worlds easiest to use tool. So easy that the app, and many others - even Apple in Photos seem incapable of reproducing it - it remains painfully easy - nothing, not this app or any other comes close. Until they do, theey’re all useless to me. And I know I’m not the only one. Keep your layers, your filters, dirtortions and so on, just give us a SIMPLE USEABLE touch-up tool!.Version: 5.0.2
✓ Did I miss something?Would appear to not be able to access my photos in my library?? So must transfer each photo to my desk top, manipulate and then import it back? ✓ Customer Service Refuses to CooperateA couple months ago Polarr created its latest update and ever since glitches up like crazy. Random photos in a sequence of shots will not work and there is nothing I have been able to discover that causes it. Sometimes it is literally the same photo in all settings taken at the same shot just simply in sequence and photo P…..132 will work and the next photo P…..133 won’t work. I have also tested this across multiple platforms and cameras to see if simply one of my things was messed up. I tested the editing program on a 2013 MacBook Pro and my 2017 iMac and both systems have this problem. I tested this across three seperate cameras which are ALL listed as having RAW conversion support on Polarr’s website, but just in case I even converted these files to JPEG previously and then tested and the problem still occured. I tested this on a GH3, GX8, and G9. Possibly the worst part of this all is how Polarr has refused to listen and try to work with me to fix the problem. When I contacted them over email at first because of these issues they simply blew it off and refused to work on the issues with me. Very sad considering I paid for their pro edition already in full. Very poor customer service combined with a faulty program has drawn me away from Polarr and I just wanted to give a heads up to any serious photo editors that this program is a waste of your time now unfortunately..Version: 5.0.3

✓ Do Not Use, Terrible ProgramUsed this for awhile, but now this program screwed me. I just spent hourse editing photos yesterday, only to realize Polarr had been saving all of my photos upon export as the same file, every single photo saved as some random old photo. And this program has a feature where you can look through old photos you've edited, up tp 200 at a time, but it DOESN't WORK! So no luck trying to re export anything. Screw Polarr. ✓ Very disappointedI purchased the professional version imeadiately having read some good reviews. i used the app with the samole photo and went through the various editing options. the program crashed horrendously. i quit and repeated the process and it crashed again. its really not up to the task. fancy bells and whjistles are useless without reliablility and that must be 100%. i demand a refund as this has been mis-sold. which is against the law..Version: 5.10.21
✓ Too many bugs, Awful keyboard shortcutsI really wanted to love this app. The design is beautiful, but unfortunately, the app itself is horrible! First of all, the keyboard shortcuts are either non-existant or unintuitive. Moving between photos should be arrow keys, not the letters J and K. Command R should rotate the photo – not UNDO all the changes I just made to the photo. The straw that broke the camels back for me was the fact that the app was not saving the edits on photos I was making!! So frustrating to go through a batch of photos and then export them only to realize 1 or 2 did not export with the changes I made. I go back into the app and sure enough, the photos are missing the edits I know I made! They even had the blue triangle to signify that they had been edited. Poor performance overall. Rotating phtos results in a blurry section of the image for a lot longer than normal, so you can't see the potential result of your freeform rotate while adjusting the photo. ✓ Clunky and annoyingI really want to love this app, both iphone & mac but it's just annoying me more than anything else. It's immensely awkward to sync my filters between iphone & mac and often will tell me that my iphone version is a newer version than the software on my mac, even if both apps are completely updated. I also can't apply multiple styles and combine them into one custom style, it will only apply the most recent adjustments. So if I combine two of my custom styles into one that I then want to share, it won't allow me to do this. It would be great if there was some kind of layers option too allowing me to move certain adjustments above or below others instead of having to undo and reapply all adjustments. Potential, but mostly irritating. Good job it's cheap I guess..Version: 5.10.21

✓ Features arent as good as lightroomI have a batch of photos, some of them i want to A.I. Edit and some i want to do specific edits. Polarr does not allow you to copy and paste small edits like HSL or curves from one photo to the next. You have to copy ALL edits from one photo to the next. which doesnt help at all. Now I resort to copying the exact numbers from each edit's curves, HSL, Etc. on another piece of paper. This is seriously a joke. How can one compete with lightroom if they fail to add small things? ✓ Hmmmm????The app works really well; however, I made the in app purchase for the pro edition and it immediately charged my credit card but will not allow me to use the pro features, nor save the images once I’ve gone to the trouble to edit my daughter’s wedding photos. ✓ Buggy With MacOS Big SurSubscribed user. Identified a number of significant issues since upgrading MacOS to Big Sur (11.2.3). Contacted support for assistance weeks ago with no reply to date. ✓ Misleading featuresI tried to like it, but after about 8 tries croping and image, then resize on save only to discover that it was never cropped, I realized it is just not meant to be. ✓ Poor serviceI had problems with the Pro version and wrote them 3 times and no responce other than an email saying they received my request. Then I asked for my money back due to no answer. No reponce so I had to ask Apple for a refund which they gave me. The problem is when you do a batch file change to meta data the file names get changed to the last file done even files that you didn't do. could not tell if it was real or just the way the program worked and they would not respond. ✓ AppreciatedEnjoying it. In spite of the fact that I as a rule avoid anything that has in app purchases. I've gotten rid of all of my Adobe products having been with them since their 1st first offering. I just don't like that business model. But polarr is hey pleasure to use on the laptop. ✓ So disappointed! Extortionate.I have used and loved this app for years. Today I updated it and all of a sudden, features I have used for years and worked into custom presets that I have tuned and developed, now are on a 'premium plan'. I am beyond shocked! If it was a reasonable price I actually might have payed it, because I have enjoyed the app so much - but they want £8.49 A MONTH to use features that were previously free. ✓ Cannot get Pro to workPaid for month upgrade to Pro to try. On my MacBook whatever I did it kept refusing to recognise me as having paid. Thought I had managed but when I came back it had rejected me again. Tried on iPad and manages to pay for two subscriptions! Contacted support and advise was: "For Windows and MacOS users: Our Google Chrome version ( an offline app ) often offers more stable experience and is less picky on your graphic cards. As we're investigating crashes and any bugs with you, we recommend using the chrome app for the time being until we figure the issue out. ✓ Won't work anymoreThis app was working really fine the first couple of times i tried it. After a couple of days it won't load pictures anymore. After loading pictures, it will select the last picture in the list, and when i try to select asnother picture, it says "Loading photo" which lasts pratically until I force quit the app. Not worth it, I'll be unsubcribing and deleting this app...well depending on response from the app developer!.Version: 5.11.3

✓ Glitchy, Please HelpI really like the tools to this app, but it's extremely glitchy. I remove all photos once exported,. but when I go into the app the next time, the photos are still there and when I upload more, it says I'm out of space. There is also an error with photos not loading, when this happens too. I remove images but it makes no difference. ✓ HmThe app itself is not the best but good enough for a few things - it has very few retouch tools and you can't be precise in editing because there are whole numbers to pick between. I've also been editing for about 10 minutes and there have 3 occasions which my screen has gone blank yet I know that my picture is still there because i am still able to add stuff on without being able to see it. I have tried undoing to and before the point it went blank but it has been to no avail and it's not a problem I can fix by going on google.Version: 5.2.0
