Today, Feb 17, 2017, I went into this game and found that half my buildings are almost completely pinked out! They are completely pink silhouettes. This is the weirdest glitch I have ever seen. ✓ Rerated to 1 starI can no longer play this game not because I don't want to, it is because it will not let me due to lack of inventory space. I can't fulfill my orders because there is no room to collect items. I only have room for 4 items. The rest are upgrade parts and you shouldn't have to get rid of anything. You can't even chose how many of one upgrade part you want to delete to make room and sacrifice what you already earned. Only leaving me to collect coins off the street in hopes to get the upgrade parts I need to upgrade or buy land. ✓ What a wasteI was on level 25. Great game then I upgraded my phone. I lost everything. Contacted the customer support and they couldn't help me. They asked me to log in but the game never gave me the option to sign up. I even gave them a receipt of my in-purchase hoping they can figure it out from there and they can't help me out. I feel like I was just getting a run around. Then I got busy so I didn't respond for a couple of days. They end up closing my case. I emailed them that this case is not closed. I tried to buy coins cause you don't get them so can't build them up, however you buy them but aren't given them. ✓ Hate to rate it so low :(I really like this game. I would absolutely love it, but the timers on stuff go from great, to ridiculous. And the amount of gold you need for certain things is the same. I am Level 21 and the boardwalk orders today require 18 of an item that takes 45 minutes to create one of. The time allowed to finish the boardwalk is only 12 hours. I understand the need to make money but this isn't entirely a free game. You can only play parts of the game for free. ✓ Desperately needs to be updated.Good game, but it’s clearly been forgotten about by the company. As others have noticed, the little gated area has been notifying players that something special is coming soon, but it’s been like that for years at this point. It takes way too long to make progress in terms of expansion, and even upgrading things like apartment buildings and malls. I have so many stores in storage so I can replace them with new ones, so that I can have a chance at earning expansion pieces. I wish I could sell some, but that’s not an option for some reason. ✓ Heavy goingI really liked this game when I first started playing but the more you progress though the levels the slower it gets and the more often it crashes. It constantly feeds back and forth to Game Centre for no apparent purpose but it just creates even more delays. If I could log out of Game Centre I would! There also seems to be no consistency to gaining the upgrade parts, it's taken me over a week to gather one more tripod thing yet other parts seem to be issued more frequently. ✓ STORM8 PLEASE UPDATE THIS GAMEI got this app a month ago and I’m on level 15, doing fine. I convinced my boyfriend to get the same app and play it with me a week later, and he can’t get past level 13 because he has no space left. No matter what he does, he can’t get a tripod, a saw, or a shovel for expansions. He is stuck and it’s been 6/7 days of him playing for at least an hour a day without receiving ANY of these items.... I think something is wrong with the algorithm or something and I’ve been doing tons of googling but STORM8 is basically dead online now, last time their forum was posted in was over 3 years ago. I just want y’all to fix this game!!!!!!! It’s such a good idea but there are minor bugs and issues that make it really difficult to play it in the long run. ✓ Crafty gamesI have been playing dreamcity story for a while. I'm nearly on level 25. I have found there are increasing 'sync errors' which Storm 8 seem to think is fine. I.e. You loose progress and have to repeat getting parts to upgrade - tiresome/irritating. To top it all I learned today that they don't play fair. On the last few hours the goals of the red factories/buildings got ridiculous (At one stage it asked for 11 baseball bats which is completely out of character) and the citizens no longer gave the masks needed. I had 10 masks left to get and I needed to buy gems whatever way I tried to reach the goal. I never got the goal and feel I have wasted my life on this game. I am very unimpressed that it is duping me so I will now delete the game and told Storm 8 I will do a review to show my negative experience so that only people who don't mind spending their money are playing.
