✓ Love the game but maybe balance a bit moreThis game is amazing and fun i love playing it the only problem is you only start getting more money further in the game and this cause problems when you cant afford the upgrades to go further. But in most cases this is fine, but one thing that really bugs me is the damage that you regularly do. Most of my supports do 10x more damage then i do. I have used up so much money and have recently reached about 900 but it cost so much to go any further. My advice may be to reduce the cost a little bit or increase the damage you earn from these upgrades. In any other case this game is really fun and great..Version: 1.2.1
✓ AmazingI was sitting at home bored with nothing to do. I always wondered what a small mice army would do when fighting other insects. I never once thought about combining a tortoise who has more armour than an Olophant from LOTR in the final battle at Minas Tirith. My life is now complete I downloaded this app two days ago and have yet to sleep shower or eat. Beware of extreme addiction. ✓ Very good shooterSo why not 5 stars? There are a few issues: first during 4x gameplay there is severe lagging even on low graphics mode on an iPhone 7s plus. Second it constantly switches to auto battle mode. Third the perks don’t seem to be accurate because I have about 684% added to health for my war tortoise but it doesn’t reflect that. And finally there should be an on/off toggle for hero abilities because it’s hard to tell when their abilities are ready especially during 2x/4x mode..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Great game. Amazing looks & Offline!This is amazing. Before the update I loved it. But now, with the amazingly made heroes, you can tell there was so much effort put into it, every unit looks so unique and just awesome. It would be nice if the bosses were a little more common.. After you unlock everything it can get a bit less enticing to play, but it's always fun to come back to. The best part is, you don't need active internet connection to play either. This game is cool, it's got a great idea and it's pretty well executed but I can't help but feel this is a bare bones game right now. (The heroes are a great addition by the way, break up the monotony of the game) Im hoping for a gripping story, greater modification of your Tortoise with upgrades. (Maybe the ability to become one of the heroes for a short period of time?) and obviously a shed load more bosses and enemy variety. The game is very easy really, gain coin while you're away, come back and upgrade. As soon as I unlocked the Support Tortoise I've been smashing through past level 100 with relative ease. I just put it on auto turret now. Maybe a daily checklist of things you have to kill with a sniper/ howitzer etc would break the cycle? Thanks for another epic game. ✓ Awesome GameI just got a new iPad and downloaded war tortoise and it is amazing. The auto-battle is so fun and the design of the game is so cool. Next time you play and look at how much work they have put In the armour reflecting the sun. Another thing I love about this game is that their is micro transactions but they are optional and don’t bombard you with ads to pay $15 for their “starter bundles”. Also everything in the game you can earn for. eg. I saved up enough red coins to buy a thing which allows it to remove all ads, and I got this with out paying any money. Honestly I love this game and how everything is set out, though I some times find it hard to chose where to put my money in, but that fixed that by adding a feature which puts your money randomly into upgrades and also adds 20% extra money. The critters look amazing, the tiers and things are well balanced and it's really fun to play However, I think there is one thing that would greatly improve this game. I feel like progressing further in the game is easier if you don't play it??? You get money when your away and the auto battle button plays the game for you? So what's left to do other than upgrade in the pause menu and watch the game unfold. It would be much better if the amazing 3D world that has been created was able to be utilised better, say controlling the new Heroes yourself? Or even just letting you see their view through their eyes. Or being able to walk the tortoise around? Even switch from your tortoise to a gun tower? If you created something like bug Heroes where the player is the hero then that would advance the gameplay of this game greatly. ✓ Solid, solid, SOLID !!!!!Everyone, please read my review. It is true what everyone else said in their reviews so I won't rehash it here. The Max Level is 600. I am almost there. My advice to everyone is make sure you upgrade to double damage and double money as soon as you can. Also ensure that you get your free perk every six hours. DON'T miss a perk (set ur alarm to wake up in middle of the night to pick up ur perk.) Use auto battle and 4X to advance quickly. This game has taken weeks, MONTHS and Years from my life that I cannot bring back but I don't regret a single minute. I am currently on level 582!!!!!!!! (& still going strong) and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I have almost 7,500 MILLION dollars (7.5 BILLION) and OVER 2,500 red points. Please keep the updates coming! ✓ Panzer TurtleThis game is a really fun time sink. It’s got a cool aesthetic (turtle tank FTW!) and a lot of customizable options that make each play-through different and enjoyable. The pay to win aspect is largely muted, and the liberal amount of resources provided means that, given enough time, you will make progress, even without spending real money. However, it is possible to break the game by spamming deaths within the first five levels and maximizing mineral orb upgrades. The lack of a respawn time allows you to obtain a potentially infinite amount of money in a brief period of time before stomping your way through the rest of the levels. I don’t think this was intentional, but as it allows casuals like myself to substitute time for money, I think it adds to the game’s appeal. DEVELOPERS TAKE NOTE. If the game crashes or is closed after a transaction is made, but before decisions (such as choosing perks) are made, the player will lose both the perks and the money. ✓ Amazingly AddictiveI only started playing games on my iphone 2weeks ago just to pass the time on the subway. I downloaded this game 3 days ago and, for someone who has played games since they were 7 years old, this is the first game i have become addicted to. The upgrades keep it really fresh. I am on my 25th or so generation and my best level has been 33 but the past 4 or 5 generations i have been getting killed at the 27th level and it doesnt give me the option of restarting the level now, it just takes me back to level 1. I have reinstalled the game now and if this glitch keeps happening then i will just delete it and find another game to keep the subway journey interesting everyday haha. I got in before the heroes were introduced and happy coz I don't have to collect the crystals as one of the heroes does it for you haha. Like the game but just questioning how would you advance this game because it will get repetitive eventually. My only complaint is I wish some of the icons and weapon upgrades had been explained a little better but I caught on fairly quickly. This is the only reason for a loss of star. This combines speedy play-style with a game system so in-depth I could still be working out the best upgrade combinations 6 months from now. Easy to pick up, addictive yet rewarding and - above all - always fresh. E.G: Once you have learned how to deal with one enemy type, along comes another. After doing this several times over, your tech has now become so much better you have to re-think how to deal with that first enemy more efficiently! ✓ Only one problemThis is an AMAZING game, but ONE problem made me stop playing it, so now I only play the sequel. This game only forces you to watch ads when you open it. Not a big deal, right? This isn’t even a problem, on its own. However, the game frequently crashes when you open the menu to spend the money you get from enemies, waves, and mining. Then you have to watch an ad when you reopen the game. So when I’m feeling totally immersed, I’m suddenly kicked out and have to watch an ad to reopen the game. ✓ Favourite Mobile GameThis is by far the best mobile game i’ve come across, it’s extremely satisfying unlocking different heroes/support units after grinding for ages. Theres lots of little features that make the game that much better; like having the occasional boss appear. Theres a lot of variety in both enemies and friendly units. The only thing I wish they would change is when you use General One-eye’s ability the highlighted friendlies are a bit of an eyesore, so if that effect was dimmed down or less noticeable it would look a lot nicer. Plus add more heroes theres too little. Also I found a neat little feature if anyone cares. ✓ Phenomenal Game and Good Ad SystemThere are enough good reviews about the game itself. I’ll focus on the ads. The ads are noticeable but not annoying. Ads pop up only when you leave open the game so you’ll have to see them but they are not the sort that annoying pop up every level. It’s also not P2W pay to win since you can earn coins by defeating bosses or reaching higher levels. You’ll get 4 coins for defeating daily bosses. ✓ Really great gameI was skeptical at first (because I hate IAPs), but I'm glad I gave this game a chance. Not only does it have a great mix of challenging gameplay, but it handles advancement within the game very fair. Yes, you can purchase very fair priced gems to advance or you can advance naturally with a reasonable amount of play. The graphics are very good and gameplay is smooth up to about level 50 when my iPad 4 starts to stutter. It's not really that bad though especially given the age of my iPad. ✓ Great incremental gameThis is an incremental game so you are supposed to start the game again once you get to a point where the game gets too tough. Each time you reset all your perks are carried over to the new game. This means more damage and cash each time. It's not really an 'idle' games as you must keep upgrading and the offline cash gains are too low. This isn't a bad thing as it a very enjoyable game. There is an option to carry on rather than reset when you die. Yes you have to wait an hour for this but it should be seen as a bonus option/cheat since most incrementally don't offer this. Also you can upgrade you starting level so you don't have start at the very beginning each time.
