✓ Broken rubbish appThe app is rubbish, EA should be ashamed of themselves. I know they probably didn't directly make this app but the fact that they think it's good enough to be released is pathetic. It crashes constantly on my iPhone 13 Pro and my iPad Pro M2. It's not an isolated thing, this happens to everyone. This is a live service, you're charging like a wounded bull for the game and then making money hand over fist on packs. ✓ Extremely buggy and disorganisedMost recently after the current update, the web app has been extremely buggy as you cannot purchase players off the market and send them into your sbc squad straight away as it says there was an error and this is annoying as it wastes a lot of time that is usually saved by doing this on the web app. The other problem is with each league, every other year the coins are categorised by names in alphabetical order however this yearthe clubs are just randomly put it the filter which makes it difficult to just find a club by letter but instead just having to scroll through, despite on console it being in alphabetical order..Coreyrocker567@ouyrVersion: 21.4.0

✓ ShoddyThe app itself is a great little tool. However the lack of support from EA regarding the app is laughable. I never thought the transfer list glitch could get any worse until I saw the app freeze completely or make everything onscreen tiny and impossible to read. If you try to send players to your club it freaks out. It then either restarts itself or you have to force close the app and reopen. This has been going on for many years now and it looks like EA refuse to fix or acknowledge this error. As there are countless tickets on their support website. I am using iPhone 14 Pro on fibre broadband and the app is laggy and clunky. Button presses happen a second later. Player searches from your club are a lottery. You can choose search parameters and find no players at all that you know are in your club. Then the next minute they appear in a different search. The app is reskinned each year to match the new game. No new features, rebuilds or bug fixes put into place. ✓ Worst app experience everI've been using the companion app since 2022, and I have to say this is the worst experience ever! In this year's version, there are a bunch of bugs, like whenever I go to the transfer market to buy a player, the user interface just freezes, so I can't buy or bid. Plus, when I select the player to swap out, the screen freezes again when I try to manage my club. That's crazy how EA can release such an unstable app. My guess is they're not creating the entire app from scratch instead just using the web app and rendering it here because I noticed the same bugs there too..HaptichashVersion: 24.0.1

✓ Reoccurring BugThis app works great when it lets you log in, it has some minor imperfections, like not letting you see the full stats for sbc players, not being able to build a squad with a preset concept player option etc..all things that can be ignored (for now). The biggest problem is the ability to log in. I understand when you are playing on your console, you may not go into the app, but when I have been logged off (and my console has been turned off) for more than 20 minutes, and i still cant access my squad on the app is infuriating. This has been a problem since the beginning of this companion app. It doesn’t communicate with its servers and it makes no sense. What if i turned off my ps4 before a trip and i went on my phone to check my squad or sbc’s and it wouldnt let me due to me “still being logged in on console” and i had to wait until i went home again....i shouldnt have to relaunch fifa to log in and log back out just to be able to use this app..its a major inconvenience and should've been solved on day 2 but its is now a few years in and this problem is occurring...unacceptable....Ko.32Version: 19.0.3

✓ Hire a testing teamI struggle to fathom how a billion dollar budget title can’t afford to pay a single tester to perform basic testing of the app. Every year there are countless major failures of the most basic tasks. Currently: cards don’t show up most for he time and requires a reload of the app every few minutes, concept players don’t auto populate once purchased if they are out of position, you can’t search for a player in your club if the concept player is out of position, search doesn’t work, transfer market searches for club items reset themselves after every search, squads on app only showed a striker - impossible to make a squad, I could go on for hours. ✓ New game, same bugsHi EA, Just want to inform you that there is a particular bug in the companion app which inhibits players from doing anything on it after about 5 minutes unless the app is closed and the reopened. It’s hard to explain unless you see it, but essentially the player cards will go blank, leaving only the black text on them behind. Once this happens, the transfer market doesn’t work, SBCs don’t work, modifying the club doesn’t work and if you aren’t careful, the whole app will just freeze. This bug started up around halfway through the last FIFA and has only seemed to have gotten worse. What’s interesting is that it only happens on the mobile app or mobile website, but not on the computer web app or actual game. Just wanted to let you know as the bug essentially makes the app unusable, and I realise how frustrating it would be for your team to work so hard on a project for something so small to completely ruin it. ✓ Too many issuesThe app is a great idea in theory however there are too many glitches including being unable to place bids on players in the transfer market and having to restart the app. By the time this is done the auction is ended and the player is lost. A large number of SBC’s are faulty as it won’t allow you to complete them as it doesn't think that you haven’t met all the criteria even if you have. This is most common in relation to the requirement for a number of players of a certain nationality or league. This then results in a loss of coins as players then need to be transferred out the club and are taxed. Bidding on players in transfer market when bidding against someone else only works providing you are only bidding on one player and don’t move off that player. It says bid status has failed, when you have placed a higher bid. Have to log out and back in again, by which time you have lost the player to a smaller bid than you were trying to place. Player bio fails to show any stars for weak foot or skill moves and everyone has medium/medium work rate. How can we compare players? On occasions when searching for players filtering by max bid, it ignores it and still shows all the players. For example, the game often crashes and I have had to redownload the app about 5 times today because I could not place a bid on a player at all or buy them now. As well as that, there has constantly been the glitch where you can not make a bid because the game says the the bid status needs updating when it doesn’t and I have lost countless bets to that. The buy it now button if not actually on the page, so you have to scroll to get to it. On high demand items, that movement is already too long. And all 3 button (bid, buy now and pop ups) are so close/layered, twice I’ve hit the bin button by accident and bought a low value item for 10,000 coins... annoying to say the least. ✓ Helpful but has major flawsThe companion app can be helpful, especially when wanting to do some SBC’s on the go and wanting to do some selling of players. But trying to bid for players can be quite frustrating. An error will show up quite frequently when trying to bid for a player that says “Bid status has changed. Please try again.” I have lost bids on players that I was watching for a long time and was in a bidding war against someone, to then lose out because of this error. It’s very frustrating and I have lost out on some wonderful deals on players because of this. To the point that I only will use it for SBC’s and finding Special players, because you can’t sort by this option on the game unless you know the Special series. ✓ Fun at first but then......The game is really fun at first, building your team completing events to get better cards, but then you start to climb up the ranks in divisions and the challenges get way too hard, the game wants you to spend thousands of pounds to get the best cards and the pay gap is soooooo obvious, I’m in a higher division and all I face is 100 rated teams full of players that you would be able to get if you didn’t spend money. Other challenges such as the second tier of David beckham is wayyyy to difficult, I have a 94 rated team and it’s still near impossible to even score against the 4th challenge let alone score 4 goals in just 55 mins of in game time which is about 3 mins in real life. ✓ Helpful app but too buggyI think this app is a great idea as I’m not allowed on my console on weekdays but there are a lot of issues For example when bidding on a player sometimes it will show you that you have won the bid but when you go on to the transfer targets section it will show that you have been outbidded and you didn’t have the chance to put another bid in. Also when you are bidding on a player or item sometimes it won’t allow you to put a bid on a player for no legitimate reason and on numerous occasions it has lead me to lost a bid even though I would of had enough coins to outbid the person I was bidding against As I tend to have my transfer list full all the time to make coins I regularly have an issue that it bugs out sometimes and it forces me to log out of the app and log in the app for it to refresh and sometimes that doesn’t work so I have to turn off my phone and turn it back on. The Player Search no longer lets me search for ‘Defenders’, ‘Midfielders’ etc.. it just returns a blank screen. The Objectives screen doesn’t display properly, with things not properly loading and the Season Objectives don’t display at all. The Player Bidding screen often stops me from bidding on players if i get in a bidding-war, meaning I have to restart the App to try and get a bid in before it expires. Massively frustrating and very poor for a company the size of EA. This has been happening for weeks and precedes all the global virus concerns, so that cannot be blamed. ✓ Freezes and a major other problemFirstly it’s a good app it does what it needs to do and it’s very helpful. When it works that is. For me it regularly freezes (it’s not the phone, i have an iPhone 8 Plus bought less than 2 months ago and the WiFi signal is strong as I have a booster in my room) and forces me to restart the app which is very frustrating when I’m trying to do sbc’s or bidding on the transfer market so I lose the player I would have otherwise potentially won. But the major problem that EA seem to be failing at solving for a number of other people as well is that some players go missing from the club. They’ve not been quick sold or used in sbcs they just vanish from active squad and from the club entirely. What’s more is than I’ve seen some people have had the issue with this, called ea support and been called a liar and that the card was never in the club in the first place. Ea doesn’t seem to care about this problem as nothing has been to try resolve this. I lost a couple cards just yesterday valuing at around 50k total and I can almost guarantee that I won’t see those again. It’s a shame really because all these little niggling things to keep EA getting money will eventually backfire and they will lose money from people stopping buying the games. ✓ Ruined for another year again.After finally getting used to the removal of the ‘done’ button when changing things such as min listing price for a player, you have to click back onto the screen and it normally loads another option which you’ve clicked on to try and get off the current screen, they have ruined the app even more to a point where it is now useless since the update. You can no longer scroll to select players... or see SBC rewards in the SBC menu... and so on. They have “updated” the app to make it worse once again, the app was the only saving grace for sbcs since they changed the menus and now even the app has been made unbearable. However, there are currently some faults that have been around since last year that really need addressing. First one I’ve seen mentioned a few times. When bidding on players, the app will regularly tell you your bid can’t be accepted, despite there being no legitimate reason for this. You are forced to close down the app and reopen it, and then your bid works fine. Problem is that this can take around 20-30 seconds. So if you’re bidding against someone, they’re going to win the item due to this fault. Secondly, unless you change your search parameters each time you search, then you will keep seeing the same items even if they’ve sold already. This is also an issue on the game itself so not necessarily a fault in the app specifically. The app currently doesn’t have the faces for icons on the card (or Prime Zanetti at least!) A final issue that I believe the app has is that if you have two consumable items (one tradeable and one untradeable) the game will use the tradeable one first and leave you with the untradeable item. Surely the game should leave you with the version that you can sell. I’m told that on the proper game, this wouldn’t happen and untradeables would be used first. Why is this a thing, I just want to use the web app and it says I’m not allowed to until I get the full game I paid $150 for the ultimate edition and not I can’t even use the web app, seriously what a joke EA!!!
