TP-Link Deco for Positive User Reviews

Super easy set upThe Deco X60 is easy to set up and the app is super helpful! I would like to have the ability to turn on/off 2.4Ghz band on individual nodes not just just all off or all on. Otherwise its a very capable mesh wifi system for multi story homes especially if you set it up with Ethernet backhaul..Version: 2.9.38

Great network coverageSuffered for a couple of years to try and get good network coverage through out the house. I’d looked at these 12 months ago but opted for a cheaper alternative using power line adapters with limited success. Just set 3 Deco M9 up and they are Amazing, very easy to set up and had no issues. I would definitely recommend spending a bit extra on a Deco..Version: 2.9.6

10/10After converting a grade 2 listed barn I struggled with getting a strong Wi-fi signal to my living room. We have sky a and this would keep dropping out all the time causing frustration when trying to simply watch tv. After installing the mess system which was very easy we have had no problems at all and all our devices work much faster. I couldn’t recommend this product more.Version: 2.4.13

Cracking set-upHad a puny VM router with extenders around the house, then purchased a three pack of P9s and have a house full of signal now. The app is pretty cool - it does what you expect and pretty intuitively. You can name all your connected devices, block them individually or by group (give them owners and block and individual person’s devices - say, until they’ve done their homework), set age-groups for content filtering, and see which Decco device they are connected to. The last point is useful if you want to see that things are actually seamlessly handing off from one to the next - which they do very well. Also, alerts when new devices join - that’s cool. The powerline backhaul seems to work peacefully with other TP-Link powerline extenders on the same ring; they aren’t aware of each other but they don’t interfere either. I’m not sure why there is an Alexa integration - I haven’t tried it but it sounds a bit gimmicky, I wouldn’t want anything that doesn’t require authentication having control of my network - anyway, it’s optional. Very easy set-up and much more reliable app than the tpPLC app which I found very glitchy. Improvements: more object types (e.g. MacBook, Echo, etc.); and maybe a way to see what the devices have been doing (data transfer stats / logs maybe). I thought it might do more to help with device placement around the home to maximise signal, but my set-up gives me what I need so it’s a moot point. Nice work TP-Link - very cool..Version: 2.2.2

Deco AX5400 setupThis has to be the easiest internet connection setup out there. As long as you have your ISP connection details, I was all done in within 30 minutes. The App is so easy to use and follow, hard to go wrong. Very happy..Version: 3.6.49

Brilliant and easy to set up via appHad a Virgin Hub3 for some time now (and previous virgin routers before that), and always struggled with wifi around the house due to remote location of the router. Previously used TPLink plug in power line and wifi extenders and for thier age have served me well although still not had total house coverage, but for price point they cannot be faulted However, a friend introduced me to his Google Mesh system - really nice and impressive coverage but was not prepared to pay Google prices, so looked to see what TPLink had - found a 3pk of E4 mesh units and wow, what a difference, third of the price, whole house coverage (even the garden), and still have one unit left over for now. Always liked TPLink products, and this comes highly recommended too :).Version: 1.9.17

Très facileTrès facile.Version: 3.6.49

Better than ExpectedI don’t often do reviews, but thought I would on this occasion. I bought into the Deco experience to replace an Asus router. I have had a TP-Link router before, but have to say, things have improved significantly. This app is, by far, the best one I have used, to manage my router. I have more control over my home and the ability to create schedules from the router, rather than each individual apps is a huge bonus. The app works well, is user-friendly, and gives me all the control I could want to manage my internet. I don’t often allow apps to send me notifications, because most are not relevant or just try to upsell other items that company offers. However, with this app, I have found that the only notifications I get, are relevant and needed. It’s still early days, but so far, so good. I would highly recommend this app, the Alexa skill, and of course, the whole Deco experience..Version: 3.6.10

Best Setup and SpeedI normally don’t write reviews but I feel compelled to say how great this router is. I have setup many router in my day. This was by far the easiest setup of a router I have every had. The app made it extremely easy to walk through the setup process. It is truly plug and play. Not the case with other routers. Once setup, the speed is amazing across my entire 2500 sq ft house. I love how the app notifies you who is connected to your network and the amount of data being used. And it is very easy to disconnect devices. Good parent controls as well. Great job with this device and app!.Version: 2.9.6

Great routers, great software, would love a few more featuresI’m upgrading from a ten year old Apple AirPort Extreme Basestation to the TP-Link Deco M5 kit. Performance is similar since both are WiFi5 (AC) systems. But the mesh lets me put several small routers around the house to have better performance everywhere. And the TP-Link app is so much better than where the Apple Airport app left off a decade ago. Getting a list of all devices, wireless and *wired* — something Apple refused to do — is fantastic. There are straightforward quality of service (QOS) controls. And a bunch of stuff I don’t care about that families will appreciate for controlling access times and device priorities and device owners. I wish for a few more features in the system: * WPA3 (maybe specific to the Deco M5) * Easy, direct control of the individual routers to change relative power or turn off individual WiFI beacons to help improve the network * More info on the “Network Optimization” including some guidance on positioning the beacons for improved performance. But those are higher-end features and this is a really budget-friendly kit, so on the whole, it’s a great system!.Version: 2.11.3

ConnectionOnce I was told how to connect it was a straight forward process.Version: 3.5.18

Limited functionality- read onI will start by saying because I’m using an existing router/modem I have configured this in Access Point mode, which limits the functionality available. So with that said, here are my thoughts The setup was very easy using the wizard. No problems at all. Not sure that the questions about the house layout was of any use to the final result. Since setting up, I’ve had no dropouts from any device and no connectivity problems at all. The only gripe I would have is that the list of attached devices takes a long time to change so you can’t really be sure which Deco device you’re actually connected to. I’m writing this review from an iPad that is apparently not connected to the system. Other than this, so far so good.Version: 3.0.48

EasyVery easy to set up and works well.Version: 3.6.10

Easy Home Mesh SystemSetup is quick & easy, most controls work well enough, URL blocking doesn’t always work though. Thank you changing bedtime settings back to 5min increments! My OCD struggled when it was single minute increments..Version: 3.6.27

Simple, Easy to use InterfaceUsed this to set up a TP-Link mesh set with a central router and 2 M3W access points and all of it was set up within 5 minutes (literally). Very straightforward walkthrough, the devices were recognized immediately. The interface is somewhat basic for ease of use so it’s not going to give you incredibly granular control over the router (vs what you would get using custom firmware) but it will still give you some QOS and blacklist options. I really like it, makes the entire process painless. The app design combined with level of router integration and TP-Link’s router (price and quality) are beautiful. First TP-Link product I have bought and will buy more based on my experience of this..Version: 1.10.9

New modemDeco was recommended at time of purchase and seems to be fulfilling the claims made from salesperson. Easy to set up & connect which is saying something for a boomer! Would recommend buying this modem as there are other gadgets from the same manufacturer that can be added on if required..Version: 3.5.18

Easy to useA system that does what it says on the box so mostly easy to use.Version: 3.5.43

Okay but could be betterWould like to have more information about what I can do.Version: 3.6.50

Very easy and greatGreat app love the hardware. So easy to setup and use.Version: 3.7.5

GoodEasy to setup.Version: 3.6.50

Throughput no longer displayed for networkI have been using the Deco for a long time now, this latest update no longer shown total network throughout above the map. Other than that, great work TP-Link.Version: 3.3.55

Awesome AppLove hove we can check the internet speed form anywhere! One small improvement would be to move the Speedtest button up a bit to avoid having to scroll.Version: 2.9.6

SeamlessSuper quick installation and awesome coverage straight away. Great system..Version: 3.6.49

User FriendlyGreat and easy to use. Would recommend to all.Version: 3.6.49

Easy to set upBought this today and set took me less than 5 min. Hopefully works fine.Version: 3.7.5

Set upVery easy and efficient.Version: 3.6.50

Great productAfter arguing with ISP about their less than superior service from the standard router, I decided to get the Deco M5. Using these pods I went from 3 mbps in my study to 48 mbps. The only downside is that I needed a techno friend (and I’m in IT) to help me install it. Instructions were not plain English and assumed considerable fore knowledge..Version: 2.4.13

Super Easy SetupI was a bit daunted in setting up the Deco X60 thinking that I may need help. Downloaded the App and followed it step by step and after about 10 minutes I was online. My speed jumped from 23Mbps download to 275Mbps on connection and covers my whole house (large double storey brick). I still have two other Deco X60 slave units that I don’t think I now need. Fantastic product and a super easy process to get on line. Highly recommend this product, well worth the price..Version: 2.9.6

Great routerIt’s only the third one I’ve ever owned. The first was one where you had to go to a website to set anything, and while not difficult, also wasn’t the easiest. The second was an Apple Airport, and that worked fine, but got old. Started looking into this because I felt it was time to change and upgrade, and this worked the best hands down. I didn’t realize how old my Apple one was, and with the Deco it was like night and day. Able to get online from my driveway, whereas before it felt like I could only use the internet inside my house (and even some areas it would be a weak signal). Having the mesh network is definitely great, as long as all the devices themselves get a good signal from the main router, you’ll never be without internet. And the app… easy to use and figure out. Hands down it truly felt like it was plug and play..Version: 2.14.24

Small and ConvenientVery Easy to Understand Just follow the step by step.Version: 3.6.50

SO EASYIt is crazy to finally do something related to tech that is actually easy and quick- took me 10 minutes. The only thing is is that I couldn’t find the model of the deco I was using, maybe the information being bigger would help..Version: 3.5.43

Great upgrade from DSLAwesome speed and easy to use instructions.Version: 3.6.49

Easy as Hell !Setting up toke less then 5 minutes!.Version: 3.6.49

Review of install process onlyOverall, pretty good. 2 suggestions to make it less confusing. App initially shows picture of plugging in all deco devices (powering them up). But you only do one at a time. Power one, get it connected. Power the second, get it connected. That tripped me up. The other was where I needed to select which model I had. The box has in big bold letters AX3000. That wasn’t a selection. Finally saw ‘Deco X55’ in much smaller font and not bold on the bottom corner of the box. These are 2 minor things, but for less technical folks, these could be quite frustrating. Other than these 2 minor things, the install went well and smoothly..Version: 3.7.5

A must have!I hated my expensive Router from day one. Reminded me of a windows computer always doing its own thing and cutting out everyday After 2 frustrating years went with TP-Link Deco x60. I could not be happier. It is so easy to set up and does the job of distributing WiFi throughout the house easily..Version: 2.4.15

From 2 to 70Mbps. Set up by a 10-year oldMy wife & I are working from home & we have 79Mbps download capacity piped into the house & available at our hub. My son has lessons streamed to him every day. It’s common for all of us to be on conference calls at the same time. In the last few weeks the WiFi signal to our devices has decreased terribly down to 0.7 Mbps on a couple of days. At the same time connecting to the hub by Ethernet shows we still have 79 Mbps arriving. I think an external signal is stepping all over my frequency (I’m looking at my neighbours with suspicion 😂). Recently I asked my 10-year old to try & set up the newly delivered tp-link Whole Home Mesh AC1300 Deco M5 system to see how capable he is and how easy it is to set up. Each Deco unit took a few minutes to set up following their downloaded guide and gave us 70 Mbps within 3m of each of the 3 units (a drop of 9 Mbps over the hub capacity). Repeated tests showed 69 to 72 Mbps download. It’s early days, but they’ve solved the WiFi speed problems in the rooms they’ve been located & they were very easy to install. Their appearance & price is for you judge. I’m already recommending them to people I know. For reference I live in the UK & have Sky broadband (full sky package). In the week before the tp-link kit was installed, Sky replaced my 7-year old hub thinking that was the cause, but it made no difference..Version: 2.4.15

Deco appVery easy to use and user friendly! Adds new Deco devices quickly and easily..Version: 3.7.5

Great app, pls add support for iPad landscapeSet up and management of my network has just become so much easier since switching to Deco. Would be great to use in landscape on iPad….Version: 2.9.44

Great UI but need landscape support for iPadApp is easy to use for the simple things and advanced settings are just as easy to setup. UI is nice and simple and love that I can rename devices so I know exactly what is connected. Only gripe I can find with the app is the lack of support for landscape mode on iPad. I have to add that there are many apps which this could be said for, Amex being one. The Deco mesh system itself is brilliant and exactly what I expected from TP-Link. Been using their networking equipment for some time and these are up there,.Version: 1.9.27

Easy to setup.Excellent service.Version: 3.6.45

Works wellNice upgrade from BT wholehome. Using 4x deco 6e in access point mode connected to a bt home hub. Separate wifi network for smart devices. Can specify which Deco connects to which as oppose waiting for the smart bit to work it out. Also can specify which wifi device connects to each deco. Each deco is also a 3 port hub. Mix and match deco devices, expensive ones in house and a cheap deco in the shed. App interface good, sorts devices by network and so on..Version: 3.7.5

BrilliantHad various routers from other vendors then decided on a whim to buy a 2 pack of Deco routers. Easy to set up and brilliant performance. Way better than the Velops I used to have. The App is also really good and It actually shows my connected devices (unlike the Linksys App which always showed my HomePods as disconnected despite being online). My NAS also now has a direct connection rather than relayed, something I’ve never been able to achieve with my other routers..Version: 2.11.16

Deco 24It’s ok but I get periods of it dropping off the network and having to reinstall. Hoping the latest update fixes the problem. Problem didn’t get fixed. Still drops off.Version: 3.6.27

Good ApplicationTP-Link Deco application is pretty easy to use and allow to configure and monitor the Deco units..Version: 3.7.5

Works, but needs a more...This worked really well to setup a 3 node Deco M9 (replacing the rubbish BT HomeHub and WholeHome mesh we previously used). It’s great as far as it goes - but it doesn’t go far enough. The parental controls are good, as is the reporting & monitoring. It’s a million times better than BT’s half hearted unreliable effort. However... The SmartHome support is just not good enough. For iOS14, it needs a widget (for network status & smart home control). TPLink removed IFTTT support this earlier this year - fair enough if they were going to actually replace it with something - the built in automation is just not good enough - it lacks any remote trigger facility & can’t do Geofencing. Needs an urgent update to either restore IFTTT or add an equivalent SmartHome control system, or folks won’t be able to do anything really useful with the Zigbee radios..Version: 2.3.9

CarrytellGreat connection with reasonable price and easy to install..Version: 3.6.49

Brilliant and Apple Simple to use.Bought a 3 pack Deco M5 to replace my aging Apple routers - I had two time capsules and a Airport express but they wouldn’t reliably extend my network. Once you follow the instructions everything works easily. Don’t try to skip turning off your modem as I did! I gave the new network the same name and passcode as the old one and everything connected automatically. A few bits of kit needed switching off and on again but no config changes. Go to be the easiest install ever - Apple simple even. I now have full bars on WiFi all over my house even with several thick stone walls in the way. Highly recommended..Version: 1.7.11

Almost too easy!Just so easy to set up and use. Highly recommend for the most inexperienced tech novice..Version: 3.6.10

GreatEasy set up was right on target very easy to use and install the speed increase unbelievable I highly recommend this product not to expensive and delivers what it promises.Version: 2.11.16

Very impressed, it’s too easy!I had to sort out some wireless dead spots around the house. Deco is so easy to setup, I was actually trying to complicate things, instead of just following the very easy step by step guide. Feedback from my wife and two daughters is everything feels faster now. Complete wifi coverage and a really well designed app to look after things. Thank you!.Version: 2.11.3

Easy to setupI thought it would be a nightmare to set up the modem, but it turns out the process was really easy. I highly recommend it.Version: 3.6.45

The app functionality itself is fantasticEdit: After speaking with tp-link I can now confirm that my worries about privacy have been put to bed and can give it 5 stars. A mesh router system should not have the ability to share my personal information with third parties. I bought these devices for a large fee and therefore personal information is off limits. How dare you! I will be looking at fighting my case via a complaint. These terms and conditions should be removed!.Version: 1.9.25

RecommendVery user friendly product with great customer support. Will be recommending the system I have just set up to family and friends. I now have super fast connection to all areas needed that were once dead zones..Version: 3.6.45

Even great grandma can do itI am a 70 yr old great grandma who holds lots of family events at my house. We will have as many as 5 or 6 gaming SYSTEMS going on at the same time all over the house. Also, the adults will be on their phones and laptops or streaming on one of our 6 tv’s My cute little decos do it all seamlessly and I am the one who set them up! So easy to do! Yes, we have very fast internet but it wasn’t reaching every room with our other router. Do not hesitate to get these. You will not be sorry. There is no reason to pay the high cost of super speed internet if it’s not reaching your whole house. These will pay for themselves in a couple of months over having to rent from the provider!.Version: 2.10.4

ExcellentBought the Deco P9 mesh system (3 unit) after getting Virgin Media installed the stock router from them had extremely short/weak range lots of blackspots. Now having installed the system with this app i have mega strong signal right through the entire house. With this app the installation was so simple literally anyone that can read simple instructions from the app screen will not be able to go wrong. Money well spent..Version: 2.7.4

TP Link - Unwyred - OZIAZI would like to congratulate Katherine and Owen on their fantastic contribution to the earth and the inhabitants of earth, may their lives be enriched with many more years of prosperity, peace and happiness, as well as an abundance of wealth and wellbeing as their goodwill towards themselves is well earned and as they say you only need one good one! Thank you! Now there is another use for TP other than your bung holes! 😂.Version: 3.7.5

Blown away by speed & easinessI would give this 10 stars if I could!! We live in an area of notoriously bad internet - we have three providers and our son who lives in an outside annex had almost no coverage even with the three. Bought the deco E4 with 3 towers & it not only has transformed the speeds in the house but finally my sim has great internet - only taken 5 years - so wish I had but the bullet and decided to buy the boosters. It might seem a considered purchase but I will now cancel two providers so get my money back in two -three months & have reliable speeds. Not only that the app was so straightforward - I’m 60 & not very technical and it was a breeze - straightforward & no gaps in instructions - easy peasy. Thankyou TPLink - you have transformed our lives out in the country..Version: 2.14.24

Excessively easy to activateGranted, I laid everything out first. I determined the SSID and password before starting. I downloaded the app and started working thru what I anticipated would be a painful process... Maybe ten minutes later, four nodes were operational and nieces were testing coverage in places they’ve never gone before. Excellent coverage in the deadest of all dead zones, the master bathroom. I installed m5s and expected a slight increase in signal strength. The m5 uses previous generation technology so I didn’t anticipate anything too dramatic. I am absolutely amazed. So easy to install. So many family members praising my networking skills. Thank you TP-Link for making me appear to be a genius..Version: 1.10.9

Facile à utiliserBon succès j’ai réussi facilement à transféré vers un nouveau iPhone.Version: 3.7.5

Solved my problems.Picked the m9 us as we were having dead spots in our house. Now I can use wifi wherever and get good reasonable speeds everywhere. More than happy. The setup was a breeze took a couple of minutes and I was firing on all 6 cylinders. Very happy..Version: 1.9.27

SpeedyEasy to connect and the internet speed is pretty fast.Version: 3.5.43

Deco 6e set upSuch a straight forward set up with clear instructions! Love it.Version: 3.7.5

Deco M4 NetworkHaving moved over from Google WiFi network to TP Link Deco M4 across the whole site - integration seems smooth, iMac web speeds seems abit slow with some web pages not loading but I think I need to give the new system time to run inn correctly. All camera setups have gone connected very well with no problems, all my connected laptops and other network devices seem to be running fine… will update on progress as time goes on. But, so far day 1 seems very stable..Version: 3.4.10

5 years old still going strongBought a deco mesh network set for a big old house yonks ago. Moved twice, and had to set it up again. Easy peasy..Version: 3.6.45

Quick and easyLoved the easy setup and quick activation of this product.Version: 3.6.27

So easy!Such a great app and hardware! I got it all set up in about half an hour. Amazing!.Version: 2.11.3

Should have done it years agoGreat unit. I did need my provider to help set up addresses in the background but done in 10 minutes..Version: 2.13.3

Very easy to setup and useI have to say, I was skeptical about the set up as I’ve tried others and they just have not delivered, however this Deco TP Link is amazing! It was set up and ready to use in less than 20 minutes (firmware updates and placing around the house). I cannot believe how we now have wifi signal in parts of the house which are absolute dead zones! Very impressed and highly recommended!!!.Version: 2.9.34

Parental controlsA great app but PLEASE build in more flexibility with the time limits. Why can’t there be 15 minute increments instead of half hourly? It’s too inflexible as it is. Thanks!.Version: 3.0.48

Version: 3.7.5

Easy installation! For a person who’s not very techno, this installation was easy as!.Version: 3.7.5

Outstanding and solvedMost easiest ever setup without issues and was all done within half hour. It’s loads of easy to use function is amazing. Power of this product is TOPs, having product truely works. Have areas with less signal and this truely changed everything with seamlessly no drop outs when streaming. Very happy and would recommend to others..Version: 2.2.2

Very simple to useSimple to set up and easy to maintain. No longer need to reconnect to another when moving around the house. Updating firmware is a breeze..Version: 3.5.43

Huge improvement over my ISP modemI always struggled with low speed and now realise it was the modem all along. The M5 mesh is awesome. The app has great features that allow me to easily set parental controls tome limits bed time etc per device..Version: 1.10.9

X50.Easy to set up. All works great so far. But all nicknames seem to be take. Doesn’t matter what I write.Version: 3.6.45

Pleased so far…I only installed my X55 mesh today so can’t comment on long term, but setting up via the app was extremely easy. I am using my Decos in Access Point mode, I would have preferred if it was possible to select this mode BEFORE the main setup process as I didn’t want another DHCP server appearing, however it didn’t cause any problems. Adding extra Decos (I have three) didn’t require any setup apart from giving them a location. My satellite Decos are using ethernet backhaul (they are all connected to the main Deco via the wired network), I would recommend this if you have the required infrastructure, otherwise you will be sharing the backhaul with wifi clients (these don’t have a dedicated wifi channel for backhaul) which could impact performance. Prior to this mesh network I had two access points, the upstairs one using the ISP router’s built in wifi, and the downstairs one using a Netgear WAC104. Both had the same SSID so it was possible to “roam” between them, however I did get issues with wifi dropping out and buffering when streaming TV. The TP-Link network has fixed all these problems and is much faster, I just wish it was possible to monitor the wifi mesh via a web browser rather then the app..Version: 3.0

FantasticTerrific app super easy to use, set ups easy, options to configure and modify to suit the user,.Version: 3.6.50

Easy to useAnd getting better all the time.Version: 3.6.45

Missing two things but otherwise greatReally nice and seamless app, regular firmware updates and notifications work well with my X68 mesh Wi-Fi system and iPhone in Australia. Pros: - super easy setup along with their mesh Wi-Fi routers - love the new reboot schedule feature - love the new IoT device 2.4ghz side network Cons: - I wish speed test came back and instead of burying Wi-Fi diagnostics so many layers deep (currently More > Deco Lab > Wifi Assistant > Run Wifi Diagnostics) I’d love it to be a tap from the “network” landing screen. - I wish you could move an IoT device easily from the main wifi network to the IoT network without having to set it up again completely. They take soooo long especially smart plugs. Bonus points if you could tick and move multiple at once! - The Wi-Fi models need more easily identifiable stickers on the packaging to establish which exact version of a model you are purchasing - and control over online sellers mascaraing older versions as new ones - not all app features are available for each model and this has especially been a problem in Australia even when specifically seeking a particular version it’s near impossible to identify it..Version: 3.5.7

Amazing app to go with amazing productI had issues with coverage and speed in certain areas in my 5400 sqft house and I did not have Ethernet. I had a range extender but it was slow, inconsistent, and very buggy. Everything changed after I purchased the deco m9 plus. I get a strong signal everywhere in the house and I also get the full speed of the WiFi I am paying for. It’s as if I am standing next to the router wherever I go in the house. The app is very clean, looks appealing, not buggy, and performs well. It is very convenient to use and allows you to effectively configure your mesh system. It also has a bunch of anti virus and security software options which is also a plus. 5 stars from me and I highly recommend..Version: 1.10.9

Best App Hands downThis app is so easy to use, no issues at all. Love our decos. XE75 Pro Deco is a great router and this app makes it so easy to manage them, no difficulties..Version: 3.7.5

Does what it says ...but not without some fussThis software needs improving. I bought 4 E4, I was immediately confused by the way the software tells you what speed they are running at, and I suspect these speeds are uptake speeds. The app tells me that I only have speeds of 8-15kbps, and I did until i sorted out the above problems as described. However when I run a test on Ooka it gives me an accurate test. A speed test should be available in App, and the uptake vs delivery speeds need to be explained. I found that you had to reboot the main several times while restarting the modem in order to get them to couple fully and then it was done, but pity there is no full faQ to help out. I found tuning on IPVv6 improved things immediately. It would also be very useful if the app were iPad friendly to enable landscape. That being said, once working these have resolved most of the black-spot issues in the house which otherwise I have to configure manually with ‘old’ routers setting up as slaves, this does it all for you and about time! Improve the software and explain to plain language to avoid confusion. Looking forward to next update..Version: 1.9.27

AmazingI replaced google mesh. At this moment I covered 3000sqf house with no problems.Version: 3.6.50

Deco is a solid mesh wifi system for home usersI recommend !.Version: 3.6.50

Very ImpressedI have had my TP-Link Deco for about a year now. I was very impressed with how easy the setup was, and how the app is just as easy to navigate. Updates are seamless. I also like the ability to switch the LED light off, particularly at night. All in all, I give the TP-Link Deco two thumbs up!.Version: 3.7.5

Almost perfectI really like the features from being able to see which devices are connected, blocking unknown and having a dedicated guest access. The parental controls are somewhat helpful and a great way to manage total online time across multiple devices and see what websites are being visited. My biggest gripe and reason for only 4 stars is that the network will start to lag, like almost daily, and I will go in to network optimization and it will confirm that the network is congested then I push an optimize button and it fixes the lag. This is great except WHY do I have to go in and push this button when the app clearly is getting a congested status??? Please automate or make this an option to automate!.Version: 2.11.3

After one whole week of struggling with network provider i finally got the internet going..Thank uJust needed abit of Deco touch..So happy now.Version: 3.6.27

Really easy to set upGreat! I was worry about set up and it turns out it’s really simple! Great product, we can enjoy great range of wifi now!.Version: 3.6.50

Deco X50Just purchased and set up took less than 10 mins. Very simple and easy to use.Version: 3.6.30

Decent but not greatImmediate boost in speed over the Eero system I had. I was not sure if this was going to be my permanent setup, but I was convinced within the first day. The coverage is great, my devices transition smoothly from unit to unit. I’m very happy with my decision. The app is fairly straightforward and I haven’t experienced any issues with it connecting to the routers. Compared to some of the competitors, this app is not as user friendly. It took some time for me to find the section to create profiles and a bit longer to understand how to add devices to said profiles. It not simple to disable internet on a device (say, when it’s time for a child to turn off the iPad). I just learned there is a maximum of 16 devices per profile. According to the images online, this device can support 150 devices. That means I’d need 10 profiles for all my device (if I wanted to profile all of them). None of these items are a deal breaker and none would prevent me from recommending the units to someone (I actually already have) but these are items that could be improved..Version: 2.10.4

So far, so good.Very easy to use hardware and the app/software side has been simple, succinct and easy to work through!.Version: 3.6.10

Simple & EffectiveSuper easy wi-fi mesh setup and has made a HUGE difference at our home. Multiple devices can now access quick wi-fi reliably everywhere. Wish I’d done this years ago, would have saved so much stress!!! Highly recommended..Version: 2.1.2

Super easyIt was easy to setup and had an easy manuel that you could follow..Version: 3.6.27

Easy to set upI found it really easy to set up, I moved house and had a new wifi password etc so I reset to factory settings and started from the beginning. I watched an online tutorial and used the app on my phone…so easy and just saved myself a ton of money to get an it guy to come and do it. Very happy now.Version: 3.6.49

Awesome but could do with some changesCould do with ability to set automatic network optimisation. Date formats for monthly reports are confusing because they are in American format - would be nice to change this (i.e. 11/01 in the US reads as 11th Jan in the UK). No landscape option for iPad is incredibly annoying especially when I use my iPad with a Magic Keyboard most of the time. Need to move away from Ookla speed testing as they collect IP addresses and give this info to 3rd parties - not cool..Version: 3.0.48

Wifi service.Good stuff, no problems.Version: 3.6.30

Very easy set up and increases the speed and reachNo need of technicians, helps increase speed and reaches far corners of the house. Very helpful device for farmers and multi-storey houses. 👍.Version: 2.9.10

Great mesh wifi!Works great.Version: 3.7.5

Very easy to set upThe app is great. Set up took about 10 min start to finish (for a mesh network with 3 nodes). Everything just worked. What a pleasant surprise, haha!.Version: 2.13.3

StrongWorks well Just set them up and it was fast an easy.Version: 3.6.49

Challenging but satisfyingFor someone who isn't techy like me, I found it easy to set up. I just love it when I successfully made it. Thanks to the easy instructions👍👍.Version: 3.2.10

PerfectSuper simple, easy to move around the app. Super happy with the internet now. Got the deco x20 2 unit mesh system couldn’t be happier. App is awesome can prioritise devices and rename devices for ease of use..Version: 2.11.16

Really good. Wish it had a few featuresThe router is great and the app is easy to use and I can find everything pretty quickly and easily. I just wish it had a couple features that it doesn’t have. This would be my pretty short but valuable wish list 1- save port forwarding rules and turn them on or off without deleting them. If I want to disable one temporarily, it’s a pain to have to delete it an recreate the whole rule again. 2- some of my devices are recognized as a new device each time they connect, even though the MAC address is the same. Pointless to rename and pick a picture/device type of it changes each time. Also, it clutters the devices view. Duplicates not being created would be great. 3- address reservation is a little weird. It doesn’t apply to the device right away, you can’t set one that is currently in use by another device (which makes sense, but is a problem because…), and you can’t change that conflicting device easily to free the address. It also doesn’t work well with port forwarding since port forwarding kind of overrules it. It’s just a little finicky. Those are really my only complaints. They’re overall pretty minor, but I don’t think they’d be terribly difficult to fix either..Version: 2.10.4

Wow!After months of issues we finally have a great wifi network..Version: 2.5.4

Fantastic productWas using a repeater with speed reduced, changed to M4 and everything was solved, having full bars of signal throughout the entire house, no drop offs and increased speed, app was extremely easy to use. Highly recommended..Version: 2.2.2

Fabulous!Spent ages trying to sort out WiFi black spots in our 1923 built house. It has thick walls and to make things worse we had added an extension on the ground floor and a loft conversion! We had organised a wired link from the router to the television so we could steam films but otherwise the WiFi was poor. We had fibre broadband with a good ISP and great speeds when standing next to the router! Anyway the last review I read by a technical expert gave this system the thumbs up so I went and bought it. I’m so glad I did. It was easy to set up. I did contact the chat line a few times before purchase and once during set up. Everyone I spoke to was helpful, knowledgeable, patient and polite. And the difference in speedy coverage is awesome. It’s been two whole days now and I still keep walking to extreme points of the house and testing the speeds. I’m like a child with a new toy! Love it!.Version: 1.9.25

Easy setup Just worksThis system was very easy to set up. I added my wife as a manager with access to all of the app tools and access settings. Seriously worth your time and money..Version: 2.4.13

Amazing SpeedJust got the Deco X60 WiFi mesh extenders and they are working flawlessly, no complaints there but the layout of the app can sometimes be hard to understand and a further update could change that, got my Phillips Hue linked up to it and they compliment each other beautifully. Took a while to set up but that would be my fault. Thanks.Version: 1.9.27

By far the best router brand and app!I bought my TP-Link Deco W2400 Mesh Router (2-Pack) from Walmart for a good deal, like $79. I just had my internet turned on at our new house today and setting this router system up was so dang easy. It’s the easiest, simplest router app out there! I had an ASUS router before upgrading to the TP-Link ones and their app was trash. Every other router app I’ve used has been trash. Only one that’s even remotely comparable to this one is the Linksys one and even it is not as smooth running. TP-Link you definitely need to continue to stay on top of the competitors and stay ahead! All I had to do was press 2 buttons in the app and create my name and WiFi password and I was done. The whole setup took less than 5 minutes. I got the 1 Gigabyte Internet speed with Mediacom and these routers are super duper fast! I’m only getting 50MB/s right now cause I need to upgrade my ASUS modem to a higher capacity. But still even at 50MB/s it’s fast as h$ll! Thanks TP-Link for making an awesome & seamless app and an even awesomer product! This is the first TP-Link product I’ve ever owned. This review was not a paid review or anything like that. I’m a real person, living in the U.S., that’s HIGHLY satisfied with my purchase and will forever get TP-Link over any other brand. I hope this helps someone else. I’ll update my review if anything changes or when I get a new modem..Version: 1.10.9

Awesome appEasy to use and navigate through - been pretty impressed with the app. Especially when I needed to troubleshoot my Deco x60, was able to find all the info I needed to fix..Version: 2.11.16

Amazing Mesh RouterGreat mesh router. Have been using it for multiple year and have bought different models.Version: 3.7.5

Perfect signalWas advised on the VM forum to get this to help my network. The free booster from VM was not doing to good. Purchased a 3 pack Mesh system from TP-Link & it works perfect. The app also lets me know if a new device has been added to the network. It does various other things, but not got that far yet. Just happy now that we’re ever we are in the house we can now get wifi on any compatible device..Version: 2.9.6

So far so goodI got fed up with the constant Wireless drop outs with my Virgin Media Hub 3. So I took the plunge and bought the Deco X20 (3 unit kit). Braced myself and installed in a couple of days ago. I must say it was pretty painless, it all seemed to work as advertised. I’ve left most of the settings on the default, apart from Fast Roaming. I’ll only mess with them when something stops working. For now, just happy everything seems to work OK. So far so good, great, uninterrupted Wi-Fi throughout the 3 floors of our house. The signal is consistent at 100Mbps everywhere, unlike with the VM Wi-Fi. I struggled a bit to get my elderly Wi-Fi Canon printer to connect but eventually used WPS to drag it into the tender embrace of the Deco system..Version: 2.9.6

Quick and easy setupStep by step guide was easy to use and so quick to set up. Device sets up the entire house with WiFi and no flat spots. One of the best mesh units I ever used in South Africa and now again in Australia..Version: 3.6.50

Great app that allows me to control multiple homes remotelyIt’s been great being able to diagnose other homes remotely and change settings without having to be physically there..Version: 3.7.5

The XE75 Pro DECOs work incredibly wellI have several phone, tablet, PC, security cams, network hubs, switches & smart devices connected to my XE75 Pro DECOs & they mostly work seamlessly. The DECOs have solved my previous Wi-Fi problems & the App is intuitive to use & gives me the information I need to troubleshoot any issues with connectivity. Highly recommended..Version: 3.7.5

Top Notch ExperienceThis thing is so easy to setup your great grandmother could do it, seriously. The coverage is great, covers all 4 floors of my townhouse, even some moderate (2-bars) coverage of the rooftop deck. It’s perfect, until you realize once you login to the app, it’s always logged in and doesn’t require authentication to access. It’s a small thing, but I would like to see the option to require password/biometric authentication to access the account. Also, please add biometric login or iPhone password vault options. With those account security options added, this app would be an easy 5/5..Version: 2.7.4

Love it but not the new updateI have Deco networks in two different locations but since release of the latest software update, I can’t connect the app to one of the houses either remotely or in person. And, in the other house it continually shows two of the Decos as disconnected even though the green connect light is showing on both. In addition, only some of the advertised system control functions are even showing as available for the one house that I can connect to. This is definitely an app problem and Deco needs to fix it or restore the previous app..Version: 1.10.9

Excellent productSeamless WiFi around the house. I’m happy.Version: 3.6.45

Awesome speed and way installI had the ATT mesh system that I just replaced with the X55. This is SO MUCH BETTER!! Full strength inside and out over a whole acre. All I did was turn off WiFi on my ATT router, unplug the old Airtes extenders, then downloaded the app and followed directions. Used the exact same WiFi name and pw as before. I hardwired (Ethernet backhaul) the other 2 decos. No setup needed on those. I did add a 4th one that I bought separately and I had to add it and set it up. Super easy though. All my devices connected within seconds. I have over 50 devices. So far it is outstanding. I highly recommend this system..Version: 2.14.15

SetupAmazing easy great product let’s see if it make it better.Version: 3.6.27

GoodGood.Version: 3.7.5

Nice App, but needs a few tweaksThis app is pretty good as far as Wi-Fi management apps go. I wish it didn’t show nodes as disconnected frequently when they aren’t, and I would like to see them give a little more explanation of the performance hit of the security features. For instance, I have 1gbit fiber internet. With the IPS off, I can achieve that speed in a test in a wired computer. If I turn on IPS, I can barely crack 100mbit. This, of course, is not the fault of the app, it’s just that doing that inspection takes processing power that my Deco doesn’t have to spare. But the app never warns you of this, so people out there may think their Wi-Fi is slow or the internet is slow since the app bugs you to turn these features on. It could be hurting a customers opinion of the product and the company since there’s no expectations set with regards to the performance hit. Overall it’s a good app, well laid out, but it could explain things a little clearer to level set exactly what’s going on..Version: 3.4.21

Awesome appAmazing.Version: 3.6.50

Excellent signal improvementI had been living with a patchy WiFi coverage of my house for some years. I had installed a second router as an access point which did work well but caused other issues being seen by devices as two networks. I read that a mesh system would solve al;l my problems, so I took the plunge with a 3 deco M5 pack. The results were as impressive as all the info on the TP link website promised. They were really simple to set up, just following the app instructions, and within minutes it was up and running with 100 Mbps all over the house. Not a dead spot to be found. I just had to reset the VM router to modem mode beforehand. Well worth the investment..Version: 2.4.15

Easiest Setup everJust upgraded my home broadband with a new ISP and purchased the Deco x55 mesh setup to eliminate dead zones in my house. It took 5 mins to setup the main x55 node and a further 1 min each additional node. All setup is conducted through an step through process on the app and was the easiest setup experience I have had with any tech. Performance of the mesh network is exceptional with no drop off in speeds around all of my home. Delighted with the product.Version: 3.6.49

This is a seriously good appI had doubts prepurchase, as the grammar and sentence construction on the TP Link website can maybe be a little lost in translation. But no worries now. This app is clearly organized with good workflows for the user. Things are where you expect them to be, setup wizards are practical and resilient, and the app has been rock solid. Features are abundant for the M5 series (easy to name devices, even offline ones; notifications for newly connected devices, well thought out parental controls, the list goes on) and setting up the hardware was a breeze. They need to build an IPad version to take advantage of the larger screen size and perhaps show a network diagram. Well done by TP Link..Version: 1.9.6

Easiest WiFi I've ever dealt withWhile its the most unconventional WiFi hardware I've ever used its been amazingly easy to use and its the first stuff to ever properly cover my parents entire house basement to second floor. Device hand off between nodes is smooth and almost entirely hiccup free while live streaming! A feat i could only dream of on the old setup. I run an ethernet back bone for the thing, so in network traffics amazingly fast. Though my parents paltry 32mbps download speed is less than desired, QoS on these actually works well and everyone get a slice when needed instead of whoever's downloading a game. The app for managements surprisingly robust enough for whats needed to satisfy myself, but simple enough I'm not scared of letting my mom have access to it. I think this is the first WiFi hardware in my parents place i can confidently say is invisible, it "just works". Which is incredibly comforting as i cant be their IT gal all the time anymore..Version: 1.7.11

Developers - please allow option to temporary ban new devices from joining networkCurrently you can time limit your kids WiFi access for bedtime/studying/etc, but they can get round this by deleting their IP address or using VPN etc…. It would be better if this app could stop all ‘new’ devices joining the WiFi network after a certain time of day Please alllow us to temporarily stop new devices from joining the network. This would stop teenagers (who know the password) to rejoin under a different IP address/device, if us parents have banned them from the Wi-Fi for a night or 2.Version: 3.7.5

Easy to use app, butI’ve been using the app for my home mesh network for a couple of years. Really pleased with the app and features. Recently I removed all my Gosund Wi-Fi switches and plugs and replaced them all with TP-Link Kasa switches and plugs. I have a total of 45 Kasa devices. I was able to add 32 of the Kasa devices to the “Smart Home” section of the app. I give this app only 4 stars because it seems like 32 is the most Kasa devices that can be added to the Smart Home section. Anything over 32 devices causes a failure when trying to add number 33 or a above. You can delete a device from the Smart Home section and you can add a different device, just not more than 32 devices. Maybe in a future update the Deco app can be made to allow more than 32 devices in the Smart Home section..Version: 3.3.10

Easy as they say it isMind officially blown! Super simple 10min setup with smart phone. So simple.. you’d be thanking your mother for the rabbits!!.Version: 3.2.6

Almost too good to be trueI replaced my 18 month old router from a competitor after I couldn’t take its abuse anymore. I had nothing but trouble with it from day one, and I spent hours on the phone with support trying to get it to just work. I purchased the Deco and it literally set itself up. It took less than a half hour from the time I took it out of the box until it was running the three units. We now have a full strength signal all over the house, the garage, and in the yard. This is a great purchase. I couldn’t be happier with it, and it cost less than the one I replaced..Version: 2.14.5

Easy set up and wi-fi signal is strongWifi signal is strong in all areas of the house.Version: 3.7.5

Functional Hardware AppA lot of software designed to support specific hardware is rubbish - the Deco app is a welcome exception! Stepped me through the whole setup process - easy to use but with a powerful range of options if required. Glad I bought this system..Version: 2.4.13

Truly an easy experienceUsually setting up wifi at home is more difficult than it needs to be. Very well executed experience!.Version: 3.5.43

Really straightforwardThese things usually fail somewhere and need support call to sort it out. This didn’t. Simple, well written instructions that worked first time.Version: 3.6.49

Torn…My local internet provider technician recommended this set because his extensive knowledge and experience. Showed me the Home Depot app for $129, I went to my Local HD, barcode read $149, I was like ok, maybe I can sacrifice a little more, but after shopping I got to the cashier which rang up $179. Ugh, situations like this, I would have pulled away. I’m so glad I didn’t, the directions made it easy to install, coverage is great even around these thick concrete walls. Ultimately, I too would recommend this set, but hopefully TP-Link would consider locking in a certain price…this day and age not everyone can sacrifice $50!.Version: 2.14.5

Excellent appThis is one best app I have used in a while. Very user friendly and made setup so easy. I’m not a tech savvy person but I was able to setup my wifi mesh within 10 mins. Good work guys 😊.Version: 2.9.44

Awesome! Not only does this app have decent functionality as well as easy setup of the Deco devices. The app is regularly updated and fairly quickly too. iOS 14.5 beta is less than a week old and these guys fixed a bug where the app wouldn’t work properly, in an iOS beta release... props to the dev team for that!.Version: 2.4.15

Great deviceSoftware and device simple to install and set up..Version: 3.6.50

Great App & Router Get BetterBeen using the app with 3 XE75’s for 9 months. The app’s features & design with the routers’ coverage, bandwidth & reliability have been great & easy to use. I’ve also seen continuous improvements in the app in that time. There was one noticeable gap for me until now. I designed the Deco’s in a daisy chain mesh, but I was unable to set them to connect to each other that way (e.g. furthest Deco connected to Main instead of closest one). I also couldn’t set which Deco each client uses. I had to reboot the network & devices in a certain order to get the design I wanted. All that changed with the recent app & firmware updates. I can now set connection preferences for both the Deco’s to each other & devices to the Deco’s. This is a fantastic improvement & I think makes it stand out as the top choice for a wifi mesh system. Thank you & well done..Version: 3.5.7

Perfectly executed appI'm not sure I've ever used a software and hardware combination that has been so well executed, truly a very satisfied customer here. In my case I'm using the app with a trio of M5 units, and the app was so intuitive and well designed that I was up and running within just a few minutes. The app gives very simple to understand status indicators at the unit level, and then supports intuitive drill down into enough detailed activity stats for each connected device to satisfy a nerd like me. Configuration of more advanced options is easy to navigate to, and the parental controls and device management features look like they will be easy to setup if it's as intuitive as the rest of the app. Thank you folks at TP-Link!.Version: 2.9.6

Love it.Super easy to use. Love the parent control.Version: 2.1.2

Flawlessly simple setupIt took minutes to setup the Deco PX50 network. I normally experience some issue during setup of wifi devices, but this was flawless. Up and running in a few minutes. The app has options to tweak network settings for best performance, but when playing with the settings I found it had already optimised the network. This setup (2 Decos) replaces a Telstra Smart Modem3/booster setup that employed 3 boosters plus the modem’s wifi to get whole home coverage but still had dropout issues. The Decos deliver a stronger, more consistent coverage with just 2 Decos. Very happy with the App, and the Deco product!.Version: 3.3.42

Wifi is all go!!Finally connected to the world😎.Version: 3.6.10

Brilliant! One of the simplest set upsI have a background in tech as I majored in MIS and did some programming but definitely not an expert. I really enjoyed the ease of setting up the deco x20. The step by step was easy to follow and went so smoothly. The only minor minor issue is when it recommended updating the deco device. It should not prompt for that until all decos are installed, secondly, the timer countdown keeps going even if the devices finished updating quicker than expected. My device finished the update and the light was a stable green and yet I had to wait another 1.5 minute for the timer countdown to finish. But these are minor details in the grand scheme of things.Version: 2.14.24

Great Mesh solution for my apartmentI purchased the TP-Link Deco E3 AC1200 product which has two Mesh devices, a standalone unit connected to my BT Home-hub 6, and a separate Mesh device that plugs directly into a wall socket. Used this App to complete the installation which was very easy. I also used the App to rename each connected device to a more meaningful name. Apartment is approximately 1000 square feet and the internet download speed into my apartment at the router is 63Mbs, the speed at the other end of the apartment (where the wall socket device is installed) is 57Mbs which I am very pleased with. No more dead spots..Version: 1.9.27

Improved the (WiFi) Weather at HomeEasy to set up and upgrade, use. Over the past three years —I got it because the 1GB speed did not suffice, or so it seemed during the peak days of work from home due to Covid — not a single issue with reliability or quality of service. I have been strongly recommending this system to everyone. I feel that it has paid for itself many times over. Looking back it was not inexpensive, but the return on the investment was excellent. Yes, it is a brick and frame 3-story house with about 3500 square feet to cover, and this mesh network has made our lives. There are many features I am aware of, that I need to learn and use..Version: 3.6.27

Great User experience but lot of enhancements dueGreat app but seems too much digging to find certain things Profiles and filters seems too rigid.Version: 3.7.5

SaadinatorGot the Deco M9 Plus to replace my Linksys Velop as I kept getting kick out of network for no reason. This has resolved my problems and provided me with an absolute stellar WiFi coverage/speed. In dead zone I would still get 380mbps speed. My only feedback would be to add a feature on the App to see which device is connected to which Deco and how are they connected (wireless or ethernet) And also start expanding your collaboration with other Home Hub companies to full take advantage of the build in feature..Version: 1.8.1

Deco X50 SystemI’m a bit of a tech dummy, but his system was so easy to set up. The app guides you through the set up, and the instructions are very clear. Most of the tech stuff is handled by the system, so even I was able to do it quickly. I would recommend this system to anyone who needs to cover a large are with Wifi..Version: 3.6.49

Good so FarThe router and Disco app seem to be working fine and we are impressed..Version: 3.6.50

Lacks some options and speed misleadingGot this yesterday and have setup nice and quickly I feel that the built in speed test is a little misleading it says I’ve got 68mbps but when I run speed test from the phone it says 2mbps so I’m guessing it’s the router speed not the internal network speed! Also while we are onto that I would REALLY like a signal meter on each unit to help place it! Apart from that everything works just slowly..Version: 1.9.9

Easy set upI had another plug in system which was not meshed and I’d always have to refresh if moving from zone to zone, the Deco meshed Wi-Fi is perfect for us and allows swift connection between each box. We have 6 around our rambling home and garden office and I’ve always got access to the internet. The set up was very simple with only the first ‘home’ unit taking a little while longer to get going but the others all came online quickly..Version: 3.2.10

ExcellentEasy to install. Powerful in effect. Unobtrusive, attractive even. Data rates exceed all expectations and requirements. I found two decos worked together faster than three (now I have a spare!) Positioning is critical for fastest results in our bungalow, which is completely covered by the two decos. Dropouts are a thing of the past - I have nearly forgotten they once drove me to desperation! Possible future improvements by the maker, might include a wall-hanging provision, and a neater cable entry at the back. Otherwise totally fabulous and completely replaces the Virgin box WiFi section and two old miserable, uncooperative wireless routers..Version: 1.7.11

Good app and excellent devicesBought a M5 mesh system and it solved all my problems of wifi dead spots around the house. Good product, easy to setup and good value for money..Version: 2.0.16

Deco E4 triple packOnly used one WOW. Much better than electrical wiring D-Link, TP-750, I have had before, instructions simple to follow with a small amount of knowledge. App connected straight away. Well done all at TP-Link..Version: 3.0

Easy to useEasy to set up and use while also working well.Version: 3.6.49

Great Router & AppEverything you would expect and great mesh WiFi. Huge upgrade from my previous ASUS router and Circle filter. My only issue keeping me from giving 5 stars is the weakness of parental controls & details. Circle has a much better control UI that gives more detailed control of the filtering and time limits. Like time limits based on content, so I can restrict online games to an hour while allowing Google Classroom, or email for homework. To Deco, an hour of online gaming is the same as an hour of homework. Also a “reward” system to allow an extra hour or two added, but not changing the daily time limit. I love everything else about the app and the Deco 20X, but the parental controls. They are passible, but you have to manually pause and unpause. Make us parents the bad guy..Version: 2.9.6

Good ProductEasy install..Version: 3.7.5

You could not get easier than what TP-Link has done!I have been dreaded the need to contact our ISP provider to go through the trouble shooting internet connection setup as you all know it is such a pain waiting in the queue for hours and then the issue of running to and from the devices etc, etc…! With TP-Link Deco App it is a child play, no sweat!!! Thank you TP-Link for making it so easy and seamless!.Version: 3.6.27

Simple but fully featuredThe app makes installation quite easy. the mesh units are nicely designed. i am very impressed with the speed and coverage. i have a large two-story home which has presented challenges for conventional wireless routers. the DECO X20 is up to the challenge. speed tests indicate that i have 100MB/25MB down- and up-load speeds throughout my home with my 3 unit mesh system. i highly recommend TP-LINK..Version: 2.3.13

Excellent app very helpful, great resultI bought a 3-node TP-Link Deco M5 mesh to integrate with my Virgin Hub 3. I was apprehensive because I was replacing a Netgear Orbi which had been hard to set up. This tp-link app was a joy to use, always giving very clear guidance and leading to a lightning fast network. I did face a couple of problems which it helped me overcome. Initially the app reported it couldn’t connect to the internet. I reset the Virgin hub with a paper clip and waited a bit longer for it to connect (with no flashing lights). The app then asked me to select an ‘Internet connection mode’. I had no idea what it was asking, so I left it set to Dynamic IP and that turned out to be correct. On the second attempt I used the reset button on the bottom of the Deco, to get it to reload and give a blue pulsing light. Then the app took me through the rest of the setup very smoothly. Now I have a WiFi network with speeds up to 325 Mbps so I am well happy. Even better, AirPrint with my HP Envy printer also worked first time! Andrew Boswell.Version: 1.9.17

TP-LinkAn amazing innovator with technology, I’ve been using their products for almost 15 years and now with WIFI 6E and 7 now on the path, it has make it easier, faster and reliable for internet connection. TP-Link is well recognize wold wide and most for being a Canadian Company.. Oh 🇨🇦!.Version: 3.7.5

Network device issueThis is the 1 problem that they don’t seem to sort out. You look at the devices connected to the network. You see a device labeled as just network device. You name that device, then within 2 days it removes the name (label) you gave it and it’s back to (network device) this is only supposed to happen if the device in question hasn’t connected to that WiFi network in weeks, not days, TP, please sort this issue !!!!!!!.Version: 3.7.5

Smooth setup but with a hiccupSetup/install went smoothly after an initial hiccup so rating less than 5 stars. Product box for Deco whole home 3-sat mesh had two numbers looking like model numbers. The most prominent ‘AX1800’ was actually ~not~ the model num. The harder-to-see ‘Deco X25’ was the model num. Satellite devices had the latter model num on the bottom. Using the TP-Link Deco app, had to select a model num but nothing listed that exactly matched the box-displayed model nums so correctly chose ‘X25’ in order to progress forward. This should be corrected in the Deco app for exact model num matches. Other than that, up and running within mins without any other hiccups. So rated 4 stars..Version: 3.6.49

GoodI have been using it for 2 months now and so far it’s good.Version: 3.6.30

Easy to setup router and additional decoI had saw the router mine which is the X60 model at Home Depot for about $150. Went back about a week later and bought it. The app easy and straight forward to setup. If you have an existing account with TP-Link with another product use that instead of creating a new one, just a tech tip. Installed the app on my iPhone go the prompts and the first deco was setup less than 5 minutes! Once you have the first deco setup, just plug in the second one and it should communicate without the app automatically. No more drops and perfect for my Blue ADT wireless cameras. App you can see all your devices connected or about to connect. Updates to the firmware appeared automatically for both decos. Let it update and your done! Out of all the routers I’ve setup over the years, this app and deco units superseded my expectations. Highly recommend..Version: 2.11.3

Easy to Use, ReliableOur Deco has been fantastic, and when we hit a snag, the technical support was outstanding (turned out to be human error, not a problem with the product). I would definitely go with TP Link again in future if I need to upgrade my system. The app is easy to follow and addresses each possible outcome along the way as it steps you through the process. Even if I weren’t a bit nerdy, I’d still find this easy to understand and navigate. Thanks! 😊.Version: 3.6.27

Works wellEverything is quite simple and easy even for the the technologically impaired such as I.Version: 3.6.50

Great solution to my internet woesWe moved to a house where our router couldn’t reach all rooms with internet - including the most important room, the study. I researched the benefits of a mesh system and in the end bought the Deco S4. With just two units and a super easy set up we now have consistent, fast internet in all rooms plus the garden. I couldn’t be more impressed! The app is super easy to use, too. Highly recommended..Version: 3.6.49

EasyThis Router was chosen as a top choice in my recent nov 23 internet searches. The consensus was that this is a step up in the mesh systems. I don’t think my internet service or devices really need all that this has to offer, but I’m hoping this purchase may last me thru a few upgrades in the next few years. Super easy set up. Probably less than 20 mins. I did hv to call my internet provider for a question about my service in my setup process, but I’m pretty sure the person just google searched the answer..Version: 3.6.27
