✓ Poor app and guideTells you how to connect and then says it won’t record whilst WiFi is on, well I seem to have the only device that records when WiFi is on and cannot download to app no matter what I do. Hopeless! No point having the device if you can’t get the videos off..Version: 4.0.8
✓ Everything works but one thing...I can't seem to get the videos to appear on the app. I sent in my dashcam thinking it was defective, received the replacement and the videos came up one time only and hasn't again since that one time. Not sure what the issue is, but the Anker C1 dashcam is well worth the hassle. I can still remove the micro sd card if a video is needed. I gave three stars because the app still does have some functions to it..Version: 2.0.2
✓ Good camera, terrible Wifi modeThe camera itself works well. I’ve got one in 3 of my vehicles. Unfortunately it’s a pain to get videos off the device over its built-in Wifi. I spent 20 minutes in the parking lot waiting for a video of part of my morning commute to download; it finally reached 0 seconds remaining, and immediately showed “download failed, try again later.” Extremely frustrating..Version: 4.0.8
✓ Could be betterThis app does not allow you to physically save videos to your iPhone video collection. It is currently stored in the app, on this when I want to export it to other services I am stuck with uploading it to YouTube and then downloading it again not on!.Version: 2.3.0
✓ Extremely DissapointedMy DashCam is verified connected to the wifi and iPhone is also connected to dashcam as well. However, the app app/site will not recognize it is connected to the dashcam.I cannot access any videos that are stored or do anything with the app subsequently. Has been the status quote for months now. All online feedback states this is a common issue and it is an issue with the software. Has been a complete waste. Have already had a specific occasion where it was prudent to be able to access the app and stored videos and of course, haven’t been able to. This product has literally cost money spent on it, among additional life related costs, that could have been avoided otherwise..Version: 4.0.8
✓ Doesn’t update Firmware on iPhoneI have A S1. The time stops syncing. I checked online some people mentioned there was a update 1.5. Mine is 1.4 and it said no update available so I can’t get the newest firmware..Version: 4.0.8
✓ 5 seconds delay on parking collision with medium/high sensitivityHad a hit and run when car was parked. when it happened, dash cam didn’t start recording it till 5 seconds later. So I had a broken hood/headlight/bumper, but couldn’t prove it. I had my parking collision on medium sensitivity when the incident happened. I noticed even when I switched to high sensitivity, it still have the 5 seconds delay recording. So I got bunch of locked video clips when I close the door, but not able to caught when a hit and run happen..Version: 4.0.9
✓ Good but I missing thingsI would have given it more but 3 stars means that it meets expectations and it does. The app does what it needs to do just fine. A few things though. I would like to see a list view with length of video clip instead of a gallery/tile view. A desktop app with same graphic overlay as app would be awesome. Download using WiFi takes a long time. Files are 1GB and larger and I only get 1MB or less. So taking out the card and using my pc is a preferred option..Version: 3.0.2
✓ Cannot exportApp only allows export to YouTube or Facebook. However when trying to do this Google says this App is blocked (for YouTube) and Facebook says something similar. If at least it allowed an export to phone that would be useful, but so. So whilst you can view the footage you can do nothing with it! Useless..Version: 4.2.0

✓ No longer WIFI connects with new appDo not know if it’s new app or iOS 13.1.2, but something is broken here. In the settings iPhone connects to Dashcams WiFi, but when you open the app, there is no connection. On my old iPhone 6 with old app it still works. Common-sort it out.Version: 4.0.8
✓ Location required?The app requires you to give it access to your location. If you deny it permission then it doesn’t allow the dash cam to connect to the app, essentially rendering the app and any sort of wireless transfer capability by the user, un-usable. I value my privacy, and for forcing me to give you permission to my location in order to use something that has no business knowing my location, you get one star. If it weren’t for that one thing, you would have had a great review from me..Version: 4.0.8
✓ Still needs a little work...For the price and quality of pictures I would normally rate this app and product at least 4 stars... BUUUUUT... The biggest problem that I see is every time I try to reconnect to the camera via the app I have to delete the camera Wi-Fi from my phone and set it up all over again. This to me is counter productive. The app asked how I liked everything a few times and I stated not so much. Then it asks if I would like to chat with customer service... said yes... three times and nada... nothing... zip... Sent one email and received a canned “we received your message”... again nothing in over a week. Thinking that with these features already asking, I shouldn’t have to hunt down a resolution or help. Just as much work as returning to the retailer the next time I’m there... and quicker too. So I give it two stars... just me 2 cents... with that and $2 you can get a cup of coffee..Version: 4.0.4

✓ IOS update didnt fix issueThe latest update for iOS 13 didn’t fix the problem I’m having with my app connecting to my Roav unit, says it’s connected in my settings but still can’t download through the app using wifi.Version: 4.0.9
✓ Worked well for a while.I’ve been using this product for almost 4 years. It worked well for a while. I was able to connect my phone and pull videos from cam to phone over the WiFi function. That ability no longer works. I’ve checked for updates and the app says it’s good. But, if I need to download a video clip, I have to pop out the card and insert it into my PC. At least it still records and functions mostly well..Version: 4.2.3
✓ Great video! Sloooooooow downloadThe app is useless. Great idea though - nice try. Use this camera for the great quality video BUT take the SD card out the camera and use it on your laptop to review videos. If you use their “useless” app, you will pull your hair out before 5 seconds of video loads. Trust me....Version: 4.0.5

✓ DecentClarity is good and the view is wide enough, I give it a star for each. The WiFi built into the camera is pretty useless unless you access the videos via data because you can’t connect to the WiFi on the camera and another WiFi simultaneously. If they had the forethought to make it Bluetooth instead so that I wouldn’t have to remove the card to view the videos then I would totally have given it 5 stars..Version: 4.0.5
✓ No connectionI have been able to connect WiFi from my phone to cam with no problem ever, but loading cam video on app is not working every blue moon it will connect but 95% time it will not connect to app. I was told by tech it was WiFi issue with camera so I bought another one and still same issue with new one. No change it has to be an app problem if it can’t connect app to cam. Phone to cam WiFi never has an issue connecting ..Version: 4.0.9
✓ Severely disappointedOn my second (warranty replacement) camera with them and I noticed it was no longer connecting to my phone and only the blue light was on. Buttons won’t work, unplugging even didn’t help. Stay away and pay a little more for a better quality product. Pros : video quality excellent, gps accuracy, speed view, app somewhat easy to navigate..Version: 4.0.4
✓ Not compatible with iOS 13.2As it seems the C1 Pro no longer connects when you have the combination of iOS 13.2 and app. Can not connect over WiFi at all now to transfer videos. Kinda makes the app useless if it never is able to connect to the camera. Tested it with an older os and it works right out of the box so it must be compatibility with iOS 13. Overall I am a little displeased by the lack of testing the app the developers testing to make sure it actually works in all scenarios..Version: 4.0.9
✓ Bad experience with upgrading roav dashcamUpgraded my roav dash cam as suggested on the roav app. The upgrade completed, however, it is spewing error that it could not load flash card and suggested to format it. I ended up formatting the flash card and lost all existing recorded videos. To make things worst, I could no longer connect the roav dash cam via my iphone wifi. Restarted both iphone and roav dashcam, still unable to connect the wifi. Now, I am in a situation that I could not manage and download the videos on the roav dashcam. This is really a frustrating experience for me..Version: 4.0.5
✓ Used to be great but broken in iOS 14Used to work fine, but since the iOS 14 update the app is useless. I have 3 ROAV cameras, 2x C1 Pro and 1x C1. None of them are showing up in the Roav app on any of my devices. I suspect the cause is iOS 14’s addition of the “Local Network Access”. The ROAV app does not request this access, and as such it cannot see the camera when connected directly to it via its WiFi SSID. Until this has been updated and fixed this app is completely useless..Version: 4.1.0
